Abstract

Abstract : The objectives this research are to (1) plan teaching learning of writing the fairy tale text based on local wisdom to fourth-grade  students of  SDN Kedungputri 02, Ngawi (2) do teaching learning of writing the fairy tale text based on local wisdom  to the fourth-grade students of  SDN Kedungputri 02, Ngawi (3) evaluate teaching learning of writing the fairy tale text based on local wisdom to the fourth grade students of  SDN Kedungputri 02, Ngawi. The subject of this research was the fourth-grade students and classroom teacher of the fourth-grade in SDN Kedungputri 02, Ngawi. The object of this research was teaching learning of writing the fairy tale text based on local wisdom. This study was using descriptive qualitative study . The aim was to obtain a clear, objective, and systematic image about the facts. The results showed that teacher have three stages, they are the plan of the learning, the teaching learning, and evaluation of the learning. In the plan of teaching learning, the teacher made complete lesson plan (RPP) based on components of RPP on the 2013- curciculum. In teaching learning, teacher  and students  do activities. There are three teacher activities in learning: the introduction, the core, and the cover. Teachers assess students in attitude assessment through observation techniques, knowledge assessment through oral and written tests, while fairy tale skills assessment through practice tests.Abstrak : Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) perencanaan pembelajaran menulis teks  cerita dongeng berbasis kearifan lokal pada siswa kelas IV di SDN Kedungputri 02, Ngawi  (2) pelaksanaan pembelajaran menulis teks cerita dongeng berbasis kearifan lokal  siswa kelas IV di SDN Kedungputri 02, Ngawi ,  (3)  evaluasi pembelajaran menulis teks cerita dongeng berbasis kearifan lokal pada siswakelas IV di SDN Kedungputri 02, Ngawi.  Siswa kelas IV dan guru kelas kelas IV SDN Kedungputri 02, Ngawi merupkan subjek penelitian. Objek penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran menulis  teks cerita dongeng berbasis kearifan lokal.  Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang bertujuan mendapatkan pendeskripsian yang jelas, objektif, dan sistematis tentag fakta-fakta yang ada selama penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu  guru  melaksanakan tiga tahapan, yang dimulai dengan  perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Pada tahap perencanaan, guru membuat  RPP K-13 lengkap berdasarkan komponen-komponennya. Pada tahap  pelaksanaan, guru dan siswa melakukan suatu aktivitas. yang dilakukan oleh guru dan siswa. Ada tiga aktivitas  guru dalam pembelajaran: pendahuluan, inti, dan adanya penutup. Guru menilai siswa dalam penilaian sikap melalui teknik pengamatan, penilaian pengetahuan melalui tes lisan dan tulis, sedangkan penilaian  keterampilan dongeng melalui  tes praktik.

Abstract

Abstract: Think – Pair Share: A Tecnique to Enhance Students’ Writing Skill. This article refers to a classroom action research on teaching writing by implementing Think-Pair-Share at High School in Bojonegoro. Think-Pair-Share Technique is a kind of cooperative learning technique. This technique encourages students to actively involve in the learning process since they have to discuss with their partner about the material being learned. The subject of the study was the tenth-grade students of SMAN 1 Bojonegoro. The result shows that the implementation of Think-Pair-Share in teaching writing can improve students’ skill in writing narrative text.Keywords: enhance, think-pair-share, writing skillAbstrak: artikel ini berisi tentang penelitian tindakan kelas pada pembelajaran menulis dengan menerapkan teknik Think-Pair-Share di SMAN 1 Bojonegoro. Teknik ini mendorong siswa untuk aktif berpartisipasi dalam proses belajar karena mereka harus berdiskusi tantang materi yang sedang diajarkan dengan temannya. Abstract

Common Written Errrors of English Department Students in IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. Writing is still considered to be the most difficult skill to master as it combines ideas getting, grammatical structures, vocabulary, and mechanics. Producing good written English is an essential and required skill for English Department Students. This study examines the common errors in written English produced by the students of English Department in IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. The error analysis on writing aims at giving the English teacher or lecturer data about common written errors and arousing the students to be more confident and enthusiastic in producing good writing by giving them correction symbols. Data were collected from narrative and descriptive texts written by the students of class 2C of English Department in IKIP PGRI Bojonegoro. The errors are analyzed in ten categories which use ten correction symbols, they are: 1) S (spelling), WO (word order), G (grammar), T (tense), C (concord), ! (missing things), WW (wrong word), [ ] (unnecessary things), ?M (unclear meaning), and P (punctuation). The overall results indicate that the most errors the students made were grammar mistakes and unnecessary things. On the contrary, the students made the least errors in word order. It was also found that the students made errors in the rest categories including spelling, tenses, concord, missing things, wrong words, unclear meaning, and punctuation.Key words: common errors, written English, correction symbols, descriptive qualitative.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui apakah pembelajaran dengan penerapan metode Demonstrasi (dengan IT) dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Gradien Garis Lurus kelas VIII-B semester 1 SMP Negeri 4 Bojonegoro tahun pelajaran 2009/2010. Abstract

Abstract: As a verbal communication instrument, language is a system with arbitrer. People realize that language activity actually is an activity to exspress language symbols to inform the meaning of the symbols to another people (in oral communication) or to the reader (in a letter communication). This thing can be seen from some of these proof, teacher in educational world already forgot about what was Ki Hajar Dewantara said, in that motto, teacher not only have to teach about educational in the class, but also to build the characteristic of their students. This observation use documentation methods in written text or language in the motto of Ki Hajar Dewantara, because Ki Hajar Dewantara wrote a message in that motto about education in the world, including in our environment to send a message about what was he did. The motto that written by Ki Hajar Dewantara use many interesting words. This thing make the writer use behavioral approachment to be a reference to make a meaning of the educational motto from Ki Hajar Dewantara.Keywords: representation, motto, education, meaning.Abstrak: Sebagai alat komunikasi verbal bahasa merupakan suatu sistem lambang bunyi yang bersifat arbitrer. Orang menyadari bahwa kegiatan berbahasa sesungguhnya adalah kegiatan mengekspresikan lambang – lambang bahasa untuk menyampaikan makna- makna yang ada pada lambang tersebut,kepada lawan bicaranya (dalam komunikasi lisan) atau pembaca ( dalam komunikasi tulis). Hal ini dapat dilihat dari bukti berikut, pendidik dalam dunia pendidikan suda mulai lupa dengan semboyan Ki Hajar Dewantara, dalam semboyan tersebut pendidik tugas dan tanggungjawabnya selain mengajar juga harus membentuk karakteristik peserta didiknya,memberikan contoh dalam bersikap.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi dalam penggunaan bahasa tulis yang dituangkan di semboyan Ki Hajar Dewantara sangatlah menarik, karena Ki Hajar Dewantara menuliskan pesan terhadap dunia pendidikan, baik dilingkungan sekitar maupun dilingkungan luar untuk menyampaikan pesan terhadap apa yang dialaminya. Tulisan Ki Hajar Dewantara tersebut mengandung makna atau arti, apa yang dituliskan Ki Hajar Dewantara banyak menggunakan istilah- istilah yang unik, yang sulit dinalar oleh manusia lainnya. Hal ini menyebabkan penulis menggunakan pendekatan behavioral manjadi acuan untuk memaknai istilah yang ada di semboyan pendidikan Ki Hajar Dewantara.Kata kunci: representasi, semboyan, edukasi, makna.

Abstract

Abstrak: Implementasi Kebijakan Pembelajaran Tematik Terpadu Kurikulum 2013 di SDN Kauman 1 Malang dan SD Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis implementasi kebijakan pembelajaran tematik terpadu yang dilihat dari perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, penilaian hasil pembelajaran, dan pengawasan pembelajaran di SDN Kauman 1 Malang dan SD Muhammadiyah 1 Malang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dan dibantu menggunakan data statistitik dengan rancangan penelitian deskriptif. Data dalam penelitian ini diambil dari hasil kuesioner dan wawancara pada responden dan observasi pelaksanaan pembelajarannya. Subjek penelitian ini adalah Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Kurikulum dan Guru. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian bahwa implementasi kebijakan pembelajaran tematik terpadu kurikulum 2013 di SDN Kauman 1 Malang dan SD Muhammadiyah 1 Malang sudah dikategorikan baik, hal ini dilihat dari aspek penguasaan, pemahaman dan kemampuan guru dalam proses perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan penilaian hasil belajar begitupun pada proses pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah sudah berjalan maksimal sesuai dengan tugas dan tanggung jawabnya seperti yang ada pada Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Permendikbud) Republik Indonesia Nomor 65 Tahun 2013 tentang Standar Proses Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah. Abstract

Abstract This study aims to produce learning media in form question card for calculating pH on buffer material in Jenamas 1 Public High School. The media card of this question was made with the Research and Development method through Borg and Gall process steps (R & D) consisting of preliminary research information, planning, initial product development, initial product testing, major product revisions, main product trials, operational product revisions, final product revisions. The results of the feasibility test of the card about the feasibility of content, language, graphics, and presentation by the validator get an average value of 98.6% with a very feasible ratio. In just a small scale trial the average score is 16.9 with a very good category, while for large scale the average score is 19.6 with a very good category. Use it from the search for the situation above so that card media from abroad can be represented as learning media. Keywords: Learning Media; Question Card; Media Feasibility Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media pembelajaran kimia berupa kartu soal untuk perhitungan pH pada materi larutan penyangga di SMA Negeri 1 Jenamas. Media kartu soal ini dihasilkan dengan metode Penelitian dan Pengembangan (Research and Development) menurut Borg and Gall melalui langkah – langkah proses ( R & D ) terdiri dari penelitian awal pengumpulan informasi, perencanaan, pengembangan produk awal, uji coba produk awal, revisi produk utama, uji coba produk utama, revisi produk operasional, revisi produk final. Hasil uji kelayakan media kartu soal kelayakan isi, bahasa, kegrafisan, dan penyajian oleh validator mendapatkan skor rata – rata sebesar 98,6% dengan kriteria sangat layak. Pada uji coba skala kecil mendapatkan rata – rata skor sebesar 16,9 dengan kategori sangat baik, sedangkan untuk skala besar mendapatkan rata – rata skor sebesar 19,6 dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian diatas maka dapat disimpulkan media kartu soal layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Kata Kunci : Media Pembelajaran; Kartu Soal;Kelayakan Media

Abstract

The Experimentation of Cooperative Learning (CL) and Group Investigation (GI) Viewed from Multiple Intelligences. The purpose of this study is to manifest: (1) which learning model of the CL, GI or expository; (2) which multiple intelligences with the linguistic intelligence, logical-mathematials intelligence or spatial inteligence results in a better learning achievement. The research population was all of the students in Grade V of State Primary School first semester of 2013/2014 at Bojonegoro regency. The samples of the research were taken by using the stratified random sampling technique and then chosen three schools namely SD Negeri 1 Dander, SD Negeri 1 Ngulanan, dan SD Negeri 2 Ngumpakdalem. The hypotheses of the research were tested by using the two-way analysis of variance with unequal cells. The result of research were: (1) GI learning and Expository learning have better mathematics achievement than cooperative learning, meanwhile Expository learning have the same mathematics achievement as GI learning, (2) among students with linguistic intelligence, logical mathematical intelligence or visual spatial intelligence have the same mathematics achievement.Keywords: Clustering Technique, Writing Skill, Descriptive Text

Abstract

Abstract: Learner autonomy on writing is independently teaching and learning that keeps students’ control to explore their knowledge and experiences in written language, find out and evaluate their errors based on the conceptual courses to make accurately simple essay. The aim was to know the effectiveness of the learner autonomy on writing accuracy. This quantitative research conducted in one group pretest and posttest design. The number of samples was 21 students in Bangkalan. The instrument were tests to gain students’ writing score before and after treatment. Researcher statistically analyzed the data using SPSS 23 version by running a Paired Samples Test. The result shown the means of pretes score was 66,83 and posttest score was 74,57, Paired Samples Correlations was 0,614 (strong correlation). Significance was 0,005, it means that  a (0,05) is higher than r value (0,005) with high variance of mean value (14,091). As a result, the hypothesis (H1­) was received that learner autonomy contributed effectively to learners’ in organizing own ideas (Ene, 2006) such as making a topic  map becomes some explanable sub-topics, writing down main and supporting idea, clustering some objects, editing next and learners  absolutely accumulate some selected vocabularies inappropriate topics  (Chengping W, 2008).Keyword: Learner Autonomy, Learning process, outcomesAbsrak: Pembelajaran otonomi  adalah pembelajaran mandiri yang mengontrol mahasiswa untuk menyampaikan gagasan dan pengalamannya, mencatat dan mengevaluasi kesalahan yang terjadi dalam penulisan esai sederhana berdasarkan pembelajaran yang tersetruktur. Tujuan adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas pembelajaran otonomi terhadap akurasi tulisan secara statistik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan desain tes awal dan akhir. Jumlah sampel terdiri dari 21 siswa di Bangkalan. Isntrumen yang digunakan adalah tes untuk mengetahui hasil nilai mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah melakukan pembelajaran otonomi. Peneliti menganalisa data dengan menggunakan versi SPSS 23 dengan menggunakan sampel tes  yang berpasangan. Hasil rata-rata tes awal adalah 66,83 dan tes akhir adalah 74,57, dengan corelasi sampel berpasangannya adalah 0,614 (kuat). Sedangkan signifikansinya adalah 0,005, artinya a (0,05) lebih besar daripada r value (0,005) dengan varian nilai rata-rata yang tinggi (14,091). Hasil hipotesis (H1)-nya diterima bahwa pembelajara otonomi berkontribusi secara efektif terhadap pengorganisasian gagasan mahasiswa sendiri (Ene, 2006) seperti memetakan suatu topik menjadi sub-topik yang mudah dijelaskan, pengelompokan objek tertentu untuk dijadikan topik, kemudian mengeditnya dan tentunya dapat memilih kosakat-kosakata yang sesuai dengan topiknya  (Chengping W, 2008).Kata Kunci: pemanfaatan media, pembelajaran sains

Abstract

This research was conducted in order to investigate whether semantic mapping was able to improve students’ writing skill of the eleventh grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Cepu or not. The researcher conducted Classroom Action Research. The research focused in improving writing of narrative text. In this research the data were in the kinds of quantitative and qualitative data. The quantitative data were taken by using test, while the qualitative data were taken by using questionnaire, observation, and interview. The result shows that semantic mapping is able to improve students writing competence. From the pre-test, it was shown that the highest score was 6.50, the lowest score was 3.00, and the average score was 4.70. In the end of cycle 1, the researcher conducted post-test, and the result were as follows: the highest score was 7.00, the lowest score was 5.00, and the average score was 6.20. At the second post-test which was held after cycle 2, the highest score was 8.00, the lowest score was 6.00. and the average was 7.00. Based on the qualitative data anlysing, teaching learning process was held effectively. The class atmosphere was alive, the students were motivated, excited and active in joining the class, the effective communication was occured, and the classroom assesment and reflection ran well. Key words: semantic mapping, writing skills, classroom action research.
