Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this writing is to research the influence of TTW’s learning by using picture in series as the media towards class VII of SMP Negeri 2 2X11 Enam Lingkung’s students’ skill on writing fable. The data of this research are the students’ scores of writing fables. It is collected by doing the test of writing fable toward the sample before and after using TTW’s technique by using picture in series. The result of this technique is using T-test formula. The result of this research showing 1) the writing skill of fable before and after using TTW’s technique of picture in series are in “Lebih dari Cukup” (LdC) qualification; 2) the writing skill of fable before and after using TTW’s technique of picture in series are in the “Baik Sekali” (BS) qualification and 3) as the result of using T-test formula showing that the writing skill of fable before and after using TTW’s technique of picture in series giving very good influence towards the students’ skill of writing fable text in class VII of SMP Negeri 2 2X11 Enam Lingkung. Kata kunci: Pengaruh, TTW Berbantuan Media Gambar Berseri, Keterampilan Menulis Teks Fabel

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe (1) planning of learning Indonesian language in the implementation of 2013 Curriculum in SMA Negeri 7 Padang (2) implementing Indonesian learning in implementing 2013 Curriculum in SMA 7 Padang, and (3) evaluating Indonesian learning in implementing 2013 Curriculum at Padang 7 High School. This type of research is a qualitative research with descriptive methods. This research was carried out in Padang 7 High School. The data in this study are the results of data collection by utilizing guidelines for observation, interviews, and documentation about planning, implementing, and evaluating learning conducted by Indonesian language teachers in SMA Negeri 7 Padang obtained from data sources. The techniques used in the research are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Techniques used to analyze data are data identification, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.Based on the research findings and research results, the following three things can be concluded. (1) Learning planning in the form of RPP made by Indonesian language teachers in SMA Negeri 7 Padang is mostly in accordance with the principles of RPP preparation contained in Permendikbud Number 22 of 2016 concerning the Process of Primary and Secondary Education. (2) The implementation of Indonesian language learning in SMA Negeri 7 Padang has been carried out with a scientific approach. (3) Assessment in Indonesian language learning at SMA Negeri 7 Padang is carried out with authentic assessment, which includes an assessment of the process and an assessment of results. Teacher 1 and teacher 2 of Indonesian subjects have carried out attitude aspect assessments by observation and journals, knowledge assessment by written tests and assignments and skills assessment by practice / performance, project and product assessments. Kata Kunci: Implementasi, Kurikulum 2013, Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to describe the sentences in the student explanation text in terms of four things. First, the effectiveness of sentences in terms of language accuracy, there are 175 (62.94%) errors. Ineffectiveness of the sentence based on elements of syntactic functions (28 errors), missing sentence elements (13 errors), redundant sentence elements (134 errors). Second, the effectiveness of sentences in terms of word accuracy has 18 (06.47%) errors. Ineffectiveness of the sentence lies in the accuracy of the concept (5 errors) and the accuracy of the usage context (13 errors). Third, the effectiveness of sentences in terms of spelling accuracy is 165 (58.63%) errors. The ineffectiveness of the sentence is in the use of capital letters (72 errors), the use of periods (5 errors), the use of commas (40 errors), and writing words (46 errors). Based on these results it can be concluded that the sentences in the news text of class VIII students at SMP Pembangunan Laboratory Laboratory are not effective. This is evidenced from the 278 sentences studied, there were 76 (27.33%) effective sentences and 202 (72.66%) ineffective sentences with 356 errors. Kata kunci: Keefektifan Kalimat, Teks Berita

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to describe the directive speech actions and speech strategies of Indonesian language teachers in class VII SMP Negeri 31 Padang. This research is qualitative with descriptive method. The sample of this study was grade VII students of SMP Negeri 31 Padang. The data of this research is the form of directive speech acts, speaking strategies and the context of the speaking of Indonesian language teachers in SMP Negeri 31 Padang in the 2018/2019 school year. The source of the research data is the speech of one Indonesian language teacher who teaches in class VII SMP Negeri 31 Padang. This research was conducted at the first meeting of the odd semester, for two meetings in the ongoing learning process.Based on the results of research and conclusions, it is suggested that the following things are suggested. (1) Directive speech acts and speech strategies of Indonesian subject teachers need to be developed, (2) Teachers are expected to use varied and good speech strategies to get the desired learning outcomes, (3) Teachers are expected to be able to use various examples of directive speech acts and appropriate speech strategies so that the process of speaking strategies that vary and discussion activities in the classroom become fun, and (4) the teacher is expected to be able to attract the attention of students in order to obtain a good learning process. Kata kunci: Tindak Tutur, Tindak Tutur Direktif, Strategi Bertutur

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the values of character education in the novel Pukat by Tere Liye. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The technique of validating the data used in this study is the triangulation technique. This research data is in the form of word, phrases, sentences, and discourses that showcase the action of figures, exposure of the words of the characters and narrators which indicate the values of character education found in the novel Pukat by Tere Liye. The data collection of this research is to read and understand the novel Pukat by Tere Liye as a whole to gain a clear understanding of the contents of the novel, determine the names of characters and the status of figures, inventory data, classify data, and conclude data relating to character education values in the novel Pukat by Tere Liye and guided by appreciative reading. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the values of character education in the novel Pukat by Tere Liye, namely the values of religious character education, the value of honest character education, the value of character tolerance education, the value of education of hard-working characters, the value of creative character education, the value of independent character education, the value of curious character education, the value of friendly/communicative character education, the value of peace-loving character education, the value of reading character-loving education, the value social care character education, the value of character education responsibility, and the value of discipline character education. The value of character education is dominant in the novel Pukat by Tere Liye, which is 13 values of religioun character education. Then, the results of this study can be implicated in Indonesian language learning and other learning both in the classroom and outside the classroom. Kata kunci: Nilai, Pendidikan Karakter, Novel Pukat

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research was to describe things as follows. First, describes the skills of reading appreciative grade XI Senior High School 2 Padang. Second, it describes the writing skills text cerpen grade XI Senior High School 2 Padang. Third, explain the relationship between the reading appreciative with writing skill text cerpen grade XI Senior High School 2 Padang. This type of research correlation between appreciative reading skills and writing skills text cerpen of grade XI Senior High School 2 Padang is quantitative research with descriptive methods. Based on the reslt of the study, the following three things concluded. First, the appreciative reading skills of grade XI Senior High School 2 Padang are in good qualification (81,32). Second, the writing skills text cerpen on grade XI Senior High school 2 Padang are in good qalification (82.24). Third, there is a significant correlation between appreciative reading skills and writing skills text cerpen of grade XI Senior High School 2 Padang at n-1 degress freedom and a sicnificant level of 95%. Kata Kunci: korelasi, membaca apresiatif, menulis teks cerpen

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study has three objectives which are described as follows: (1) Describe the ability to write a film review text in class XI SMA N 7 Padang before using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by audiovisual media. (2) Explaining the skills of writing a movie review text for grade XI of SMA N 7 Padang after using the Problem Based Learning model assisted by audiovisual media. (3) Explain the influence of the Problem Based Learning model assisted by audiovisual media on the skills of writing film review texts on grade XI students of SMA N 7 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. The design of this research is one group pretest and posttest design. The population in this study were class XI students of SMA N 7 Padang, who were registered in the 2018/2019 school year as many as 332 people. The sample in this study was 33 students who were determined using a technique (purposive sampling). The variable of this study is the text writing skills of film reviews before and after using the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by audiovisual media of class XI students of SMA N 7 Padang. Kata kunci: Pengaruh, model problem bassed learning berbantuan media audiovisual, menulis teks ulasan film

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the Najwa Shihab's speech style in Mata Najwa talkshow on Trans7. This type of research is qualitative with descriptive methods. The research data is in the form of quotations containing speech style. Data collection is done by searching and downloading audio-visual recordings of Mata Najwa talkshow in the website (www.youtube.com). The method used is the method of referring to tapping techniques. Data analysis is done by identifying data, giving signs and data code, classifying data using identification and classification tables, interpreting data, making conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are 173 speech styles consisting of 4 styles of Alliterative, 9 styles of asonance, 1 style of apophasis, 2 styles of apostrophe, 3 styles of asindeton, 3 polisidenton, 1  chiasmus, 7 elliptical, 8 euphemism, 4 tautology, 8 pleonasm, 2 periphasis, 3 prolepsis, 34 erotesis, 1 correction, 2 hyperbolic, 15 metaphor, 1 allegory, 10 personification, 1 allusion, 1 eponymous, 4 synekdoke, 7 meteorological, 3 antonomasia, 1 hypalase, 16 irony, 20 cynicism, 2 sarcasm. The dominant of speech style used is erotesis or rhetorical question, while the dominant of speech style used is cynicism. The use of the speech style aims to help Najwa Shihab in expressing his ideas and emotions so that use of language raises certain connotations and aesthetic values to both the speech partners and viewers of the Mata Najwa talkshow. Kata kunci: Gaya Bahasa Retoris, Kiasan, Najwa Shihab

Abstract

ABSTRACT  This study aims to (1) describe the structure of the report text observation of the work of class VII SMP Negeri 12 Solok Selatan (2) illustrates the linguistic characteristics of the observation report text by class VII SMP Negeri 12 Solok Selatan. The results of this study are as follows. First, in writing the report text of observations of Grade VII students of class VII SMP Negeri 12 Solok Selatan, they have used the three text structures of the observation report results. The structure of the report's observational text is a general definition, section description, and description of benefits. This is evident from the 20 observational report texts that have been analyzed throughout the observation report text of class VII SMP Negeri 12 Solok Selatan complete using general definitions, section descriptions, and benefits descriptions. Second, in writing the report text of observations generally in class VII SMP Negeri 12 Solok Selatan have used the four text structures of the observation report. The Fourth linguistic characteristics of the text of the observation report are repetition, pronoun, conjunction, and description sentences. This is evident from the 20 text reports on observations that have been analyzed, there are 16 text reports on observations that are complete using the linguistic characteristics of repetition, pronouns, conjunctions, and sentence definitions. Abstract

ABSTRACT This article reveals effective sentences in the exposition text of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Padang Panjang. The purpose of this study is three. First, describe the effectiveness of the sentence in the exposition text of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Padang Panjang in terms of the accuracy of sentence structure. Second, describe the effectiveness of the sentence in the exposition text of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Padang Panjang in terms of the accuracy of word choice. Third, describe the effectiveness of sentences in the exposition text of class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Padang Panjang in terms of spelling accuracy. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive method. The source of this research data is the task of students in writing exposition text class VIII Padang Panjang Middle School 1 which was registered in 2018/2019. The sample in this study was determined by proportional random sampling, which is 30 students' work. The results of the study are three. First, the effectiveness in terms of sentence structure is 344 effective sentences and 121 sentences are not effective. Second, the effectiveness of sentences in terms of word choices have 21 effective sentences and 444 sentences not effective. Third, the effectiveness of the sentence in terms of spelling found 253 effective sentences and 212 sentences were not effective. Based on the results of the study it was concluded that of the 465 sentences studied there were 81 effective sentences and 370 sentences not effective. Kata kunci:Kalimat Efektif, Teks Eksposisi
