Abstract

ABSTRACT This article is written to discuss the results of research on contribution of skills listening rhyme to writing skills rhyme grade strudents VII SMP Negeri 34 Padang.  The purpose of this research there are three. First, describe the skills of listening rhyme. Second, describe the skils of writing rhyme. Third, describe the contributing skills of listening rhyme for the writing skill of the rhyme grade students VII SMP Negeri 34 Padang. This research type is quantitative descriptive method. The design used in this research is the design contribution. This research population is grade VII SMP Negeri 34 Padang are registered on the school year 2018/2019, i.e. as many as 277 students. The sample in this research are determined by proportional random sampling of 15% of the population, i.e. 45 students. Research data is a score test results intermediate listening rhyme and score the writing skills test result text rhyme. The data obtained through two types of tests i.e. objective tests to measure the skills of listening rhyme and performance tests to measure the skills of writing a text rhyme. The results of the research there are three. First, the skills of listening rhyme grade VII SMP Negeri 34 Padang are on good qualifications (B) by the value of the average 77,67. Second, the skills of writing rhyme grade VII SMP Negeri 34 Padang are on good qualifications (B) with an average of 82,31. Third, there is a contribution of listening skills rhyme to the skills of writing rhyme of class grade VII SMP Negeri 34 Padang at 57,15% Kata kunci: Kontribusi, Menyimak, Menulis, dan Pantun

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the use modeling techniques to ward students’ writingskill on drama text class XI students of SMA Negeri 7 Padang. The research is quantitative research with experiment method. The design of this research is One Group Pretest-Postest Design. The instrument used is performance test. The data of this research is the score of writing skill test result. Data are collected through performance tests. Based on the result of research, the use of modeling techniques affected the writing skill on drama text class XI of student SMA Negeri 7 Padang.Kata kunci: pengaruh, teknik, menulis teks drama

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this jurnal is to describe the corelation between students’ reading appreciative short story and writing short story text skill of VII grade MTs. N Lubuk Buaya Padang. This research is quantitative research in term of description of corelation study. Based on the result of data analysis, it can be concluded that. First, students’ skill in reading appreciative short story of VII grade MTs. N Lubuk Buaya Padang is good with the avarage score 80,57. Second, students’ skill in writing short story text is good with the avarage score is 76,67. Third, based on t test,  it can be concluded that there is significant corelation between students’ skill in reading appreciative short story and students’ skill in writing short story text of VII grade MTs. N Lubuk Buaya Padang because t counted is bigger than t table (12,19>2,021). Kata kunci:  hubungan, membaca apresiatif, keterampilan menulis, teks cerpen

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe background of this research is the students’ ability of writing the report of observation’s result text is low, which one of the factors that cause it,  is sentence error. The purpose of this research is to describe the sentence error in the report of observation’s result text which is reviewed by these aspects (1) the structure of syntax’s function, (2) the deficiency of sentence’s element (3) the excrescent of the sentence’s element, (4) the error of reasoning arrangement. This type of the research is qualitative with the descriptive method. The instrument of the research is the reseracher himself. The data of this reseach is the error sentences.  The source of the data’s research is achieved from the report of observation’s result text of the VII 1 grade in SMP Negeri 12 Padang. The data is analyzed through these steps (1) Identifying the general description and data’s coding, (2) Data Inventory, (3) Identifying the forms of the sentence error, (4) Analyzing the sentence error and, (5) Concluding the result of the research. The results of this research as follows. First,the sentence error on the aspect of syntax structure is the error of the use of the predicate. Second, the sentence error on the deficiency of sentence’s element is there is no subject, lack of independepnt clause, lack of conjunction,  and there is no affix in the root that should be added by affix. Third, the sentence error on the excrescent of the sentence’s element is the overlap of the use of plural indicator, redundancy, and the inappropriate affix on the root. Fourth, The sentence error on reasoning arrangement is the meaning  of the sentence is not logical, and the error of the choice of words to explain the meaning of the sentence Key words : Sentence error, the report of observation’s result text.Kata Kunci: Kesalahan Kalimat, Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This is article of research is to description the effects of the using the model of problem based learning towards the skills of writing a text eksposition of the seventh grade students at SMP Negeri 31 Padang. The method used is this research is quasy experiment method. Based on the results of data analysis it was concluded the following three points. First, the skills of writing a text exposition of students of class VII SMP Negeri 31 Padang without using model of problem based learningis located on qualifications is enough (62,38). Second, the skills of writing a text exposition of students of class VII SMP Negeri 31 Padang using model of problem based learning is located on qualifications is good (78,25). Third, based on the result of test-t, there is effects of model of problem based learning towards the skills of writing a text exposition of students of class VII SMP Negeri 31 Padang because taritmatic> t table. Kata kunci : effects, model PBL, text eksposition

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this research are three (1) to describe the process of implementatiom of text-based Indonesian language learning, (2) to describe the process of teaching and learning of text-based Indonesian language focused on instructional media, (3) to describe the process of text learning based on the learning material. This research type is qualitative research by using descriptive method. Technique of data collecting is done by observation, interview, and documentation study. The result showed that teachers of SMP Negeri 7 Padang, SMP Negeri 11 Padang, and SMP Negeri 25 Padang have implementated four aspects ofe text-based learning that is at the stage of building the context, studying the model text, constucting guided and constructing independently. Media use in SMP Negeri 7 Padang and SMP Negeri 25 Padang already with excellent category, while at SMP Negeri 11 Padang good category. Teaching material is chosen and determined with consideration and attention to problems, among others (a) the objectives to be achieved for relevance, (b) the scope and its sequence need to be organized in order to be systematic and clear, and (c) time and equipment are also considered. Kata kunci: implementasi pembelajaran bebasis teks, media pembelajaran, materi pembelajaran

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to describe the influence model of discovery learning the skills of writing text exposition class X SMKN 8 Padang. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. The results of this research are three: (1) writing text skills exposition before using discovery learning model of class X SMKN 8 Padang are in qualifying Nearly Enough (HC) with an average value of 50,12 (2) writing text skills exposition after using discovery learning model of class X SMKN 8 Padang are in qualification well (B) with an average value of 80,98 and (3) exposition writing text skills class X SMKN 8 Padang after using the model of discovery learning better than before using the model of discovery learning. Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Model Discovery Learning, Teks Eksposisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The research was conducted to describe the sentence errors in the exposition text in some aspects (1) the structure of syntactical function (2) the lack of sentence element (3) the surplus of sentence element (4) the diction (word selection), and (5) spelling (capital letters, writting word, and punctuation). It employed a descriptive qualitative method. The instrument of this study was the researcher herself. The data of this study was the wrong sentences of exposition text of the students at grade VII 7 of SMP Negeri 12 Padang. The data were collected by borrowing the students exposition text from the teacher and copying. The data were analyzed by (1) stoctaking the data (2) identifyng the sentence errors (3) analysing the sentence errors, and (4) concluding the result of this study. The result shows. First, the sentence errors on syntactical function is an inappropriate use of predikat. Second, the sentence errors on lack of sentence element are not available the subject, predikat, and conjunction. Third, the sentence errors on the surplus of sentence element are the overlapping use of plural and repetition of words. Fourth, the sentence errors on diction (word selection) are an inappropriate concept used and collocation. Fifth, the sentence errors on spelling are writing the capital letters, writing the basic words, writing the derivative words, writing the repetition of words, writing prefix di-, writing the abbreviation words, writing the foreign words, and the error use of punctuation suchlike full stop and comma. Kata kunci: kesalahan kalimat, teks eksposisi

Abstract

 ABSTRACT The purpose of this research is three. First, describing the procedure of writing the text of a class VII junior high School 14 Padang before using modelling techniques. Second, describing the procedure of writing the text of Class VII in SMP Negeri 14 Padang after using modeling technique. Third, describing the influence of use of modeling techniques to the skill level of writing the text procedures class VII SMP Negeri 14 Padang. This type of research is quantitative research with experimental methods. This research draft is one group Pretests and posttest design. The population in this study is a grade VII student at SMP Negeri 14 Padang enrolled in Lesson 2018/2019. The samples in this study were determined using purposive sampling techniques. This research variable is the skill of writing the procedure text before and after using the modeling technique of class VII SMP Negeri 14 Padang. This research Data is the test score of the text writing procedure before and after using the modeling technique of class VII SMP Negeri 14 Padang. The Data is analyzed with a percentage formula, average count formula, and test-T. The research instrument is a test of work, which is the test of the text of the procedure before and after using the modeling technique. Kata Kunci: Pengaruh, Teknik Pemodelan, Teks Prosedur

Abstract

This article was written to illustrate the effect of using problem based learning model with serialized media relation to writing skill of exposition of VIII students of SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman. This research data is a score in the skills of writing exposition texts before and after using the problem-based model of learning assisted media series image. This study has three results. First, the skills of writing expository texts before using the problem based learning model with the help of the medium of serial images are in the qualification Enough (C). Second, the skill of writing the text of the exposition of the students of grade VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pariaman after using the problem based learning model assisted by the media of the series is qualified More than Enough (Ldc). Third, based on the t test concluded that there is a significant influence on the skill of writing expository text because thitung> ttabel (5,54> 1.70).Kata kunci: pengaruh, model problem based learning, media gambar berseri, menulis teks eksposisi
