Abstract

Abstract This research aims to (1) describe grade ability to understand short story text of students class VII SMP Negeri 3 Payakumbuh before application cooperative learning NHT type, (2) describe grade ability to understand short story text of students class VII SMP Negeri 3 Payakumbuh after application cooperative learning NHT type, (3) describe the effect of the use of cooperative learning NHT type, toward students’ ability to understand short story text of students class VII SMP Negeri 3 Payakumbuh. The type of this research is quantitative research done using experimental design. There are three results of the research are (1) the students’ ability to understand short story text before application cooperative learning  NHT type at class VII SMP Negeri 3 Payakumbuh is more fairly and grades C with average 63,08, (2) the students’ ability in to understand short story text before application cooperative learning NHT type at class VII SMP Negeri 3 Payakumbuh is good and grades B with average 76,00, and (3) based on t-test, alternative hypothesis (H­1) is gained at the significant phase 95% and degrees of freedom (df)=(n-1) because tcount> t-table (7,83>1,70). Kata kunci : pengaruh, kooperatif, numbered head together (NHT), dan cerita pendek

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aimed of this researchwas to describe the student’s correlation of comprehension skill on short story text with skil of writing the short story text at class XI SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. The subject of this research was the second grade students of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung with sample of 34 people. The kind of this research is the quantitative with descriptive method. The data of this research are gotten by two kind of test. The test are multiple choice test in order to collect  the data of comprehension skill on short story text, the second is the student’s woerksheet test in order to collect the data of writing the short story text. Based on the results of data analysis can be concluded that; first, the student’s comprehension skill on comprehend the text are in good qualifying (85.06). Second, the student’s writing skill in writing the short story text class XI student of class XI SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung are in good qualifying (77.33). Third, there is a significant correlation between student’s comprehension skill an writing skillin comprehending and witing short story text of the second grade students at class XI SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung that is 0.784 it  can be proved by the t-count > t table (7.15> 1.70) in level 95%. Kata kunci: korelasi, memahami teks cerpen, menulis teks cerpen

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to explain the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of problem based learning student worksheet for learning to write description text. This type of research was the development of research with the Research and Development (R&D) methode. Products that was produced in this research was the problem based learning student worksheet for learning to write a valid, practical, and effective description text . The validity of the student worksheet was 96,87% with a valid category. The value practicalities of the student worksheet from teachers was 89,84% that was  categorized as very practical. The practicalities value of the student worksheet of the students was 89,63% categorized as very practical. The resulting student worksheet was declared effective because the average value of the writing skills of students by 83,21 description text. Kata Kunci:  pengembangan, Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik, Problem Based Learning, teks deskripsi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The aim of this research was to describe the contribution of reading comprehension to the writing skill in the exposition text on the eight grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. The sample in this study amounted to 40 students. The data is score of exposition text writing skill test result and reading comprehension test result. Based on data analysis and discussion, the following three things are obtained. First, the exposition text writing skill test result of the eight grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang is in good qualification (81,50). Second, the reading comprehension skill test result on the eight grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang is in good qualification (81,39). Third, the reading comprehension skill has 43,03% contribution to the writing skill of the exposition text on eight grade students of SMP Negeri 25 Padang and the rest (56,97%) influenced by other factors not examined in this research. Kata kunci: kontibusi, membaca pemahaman, menulis, teks eksposisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT         The purpose this research are (1) To find out the exposition text writing skills at class VIII SMP at 5 Pariaman before using copy the master technique. (2) To find out the exposition text writing skills ot class VIII SMP at 5 Pariaman after using copy the master technique. (3) To analyze the effects of using copy the master technique towards the exposition text writing skills at class VIII SMP at 5 Pariaman. This is quantitative research using quasi experiment. Abstract

                                                     ABSTRACTThis research aim to know about usage of effective sentence at essay exposition of the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 15 Kerinci. The type of this research is qualitative research with descriptive method. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it was concluded the following three points. Firstly, the ineffectiveness of a sentence in terms of the choice of words. Secondly, the ineffectiveness of a sentence in terms of structure. Third, ineffectiveness sentence in terms of punctuation there are three aspects, namely (1) the use of capital letters, (2) writing words in the form of the writing of prepositions in improper, writing preposition to is not precise, and the writing of the word is not right, and (3) use hyphens. Kata kunci: ketidakefektifan, kalimat, karangan eksposisi

Abstract

                                                                                     ABSTRACT The purpose of this research are three (1) to describe the process of implementatiom of text-based Indonesian language learning, (2) to describe the process of teaching and learning of text-based Indonesian language focused on instructional media, (3) to describe the process oftext learning based on the learning method. This research type is qualitative research by using descriptive method. Technique of data collecting is done by observation, interview, and documentation study. The result showed that teachers of SMP Negeri 4 and SMP Negeri 6 Bukittinggi have implementated four aspects ofe text-based learning that is at the stage of building the context, studying the model text, constucting guided and constructing independently, while the Indonesian language teacher at SMP Negeri 7 Bukittinggi only carried out three aspects of text-based learning, which are context-building, model review, and self-constructing. The media used in the three schools are categorically good in terms of effectiviness, relation to learning, until the use of the media itself. The use of learning methods in the three schools is alsogood in terms of its effectiviness, its relevance to learning, up to the use of the method itself. Kata kunci : implementasi pembelajaran berbasis teks, media pembelajaran, metode pembelajaran

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to (1) describe the skills to understand the text of the observation report, (2) to describe the skills of writing the text of the observation report, and (3) to describe the correlation of the skill in understanding the text of the observation report and the writing skill of the observation report of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 31 Padang. The data in this research is the score of comprehension skills and the score of writing skill of the observation report. The source of this research data is the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 31 Padang, amounting to 40 people. Data were collected using descriptive method. The findings of this research is the correlation between the comprehension of the text of the observation report and the skills of writing the text of the observation result of the students of class VII of SMP Negeri 31 Padang. Kata kunci: korelasi, teks, keterampilan, memahami, menulis

Abstract

This article aims to describe the achievement level of making plan, implementation, and achievement in the assessmentlearning of Bahasa Indonesia on the implementation of curriculum 2013 at SMP N 2, SMP N 3, and SMP N 4 Bukittinggi.  The research type was a qualitative research and quantitative research that used descriptive method. The techniques used in this research were observation, interview, and documentary research. The techniques used in analyzing the data were identification, presentation, and   drawing conclusions. The result of the research found that whole aspects of planning, implementation, and assessmentlearning have been created as well by the Indonesian teachers of SMP N Bukittinggi based on the curriculum 2013 with good category.Kata kunci: Implementasi, kurikulum 2013, dan  Bahasa Indonesia

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to describe the use of texts thematic structure and text structure skematic by political news reporters in the period 2016-2021 of the gubernatorial election in West Sumatra in the daily news Singgalang as online media to expose political power . This research is qualitative . Data collection technique used SIMAK and technical notes. Data analysis was performed with descriptions perspective analysis Teun A. van Dijk . Based on the results, it can be concluded that the use of thematic text structure and text structure skematic use in political news second round of elections in the West Sumatra governor Singgalang online media , shows that political power does not exist .
