Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this study was to describe: (1) the skill of listening to the text of the observation report, (2) the skill of writing observational report text, and (3) analyzing the contribution of observing the text of the observation report to the observation writing skills of the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas Pesisir Selatan Regency. The type of research used is quantitative and descriptive-analytical methods. The data collection technique was carried out through listening skills tests and test of observations texts of 45 people samples taken by proportional-random sampling. The results of the study showed: (1) writing skills of observational report text were in good qualification by achieving an average score of 81.84 in the range of values of 0 to 100, (2) the listening skill of observational report text were in a very good qualification achieving an average value of 90.00 in the range 0 to  100, and (3) the contribution of the skill of listening to the of observational report text  to writing observational report text was  equal to 31.03% among class VII students of SMP Negeri 2 Batang Kapas, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Kata Kunci: Menyimak, Menulis, Kontribusi, Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi

Abstract

This article was written to describe the relationship between the skills of reading comprehension and writing skills exposition text exposition class X SMA Negeri 1 Painan. Data were obtained through two types of tests, which is an objective test and test performance. Objective tests used to collect data reading comprehension skills exposition text, while the performance of the tests used to collect data writing skills exposition text. The results of this study there are three. First, the text reading comprehension skills exposition class X SMA Negeri 1 Painan are in qualifying Fair (C) with the average value (63.69). Second, text writing skills exposition class X SMA Negeri 1 Painan currently on qualification More than Enough (LDC) with the average value (72.08). Third, there is a significant correlation between the skills of reading comprehension skills of writing text with text exposition exposition class X SMA Negeri 1 Painan on n-1 degrees of freedom and a significance level of 0.95 for ttest> ttable  2.36> 1.70. Kata kunci: Korelasi, keterampilan membaca pemahaman, keterampilan menulis, dan teks eksposisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT The purpose of the study is to describe the effectiveness the text of the observation report of the students at SMA Negeri 3 Padang Panjang.This research is qualitative research with descriptive method.The result in this research shows that the effectiveness of the text of the observation report of students can be said good, 74% of 312 sentences.Based on the results of research, it was concluded six things: (1) the student is still having an error in standard word, (2) still found an error regarding the completeness of the elements, (3) still found a sentence that is not solid, (4) still found errors in the firmness of the sentence, (5) still found waste of words, (6) still found errors about parallelism. Kata kunci: Keefektifan kalimat,  laporan hasil observasi

Abstract

                                                                ABSTRACTthe purpose of this research are three, there are describes (1) skill of writing observation report text class VII SMP Negeri 22 Padang before using discovery learning model, (2) skill of writing observation report text class VII SMP Negeri 22 Padang after using discovery learning model, (3) the influence discovery learning model towards skill of writing observation report text class VII SMP Negeri 22 Padang. There are two research data, there are score of skill on writing observation report text class VII SMP Negeri 22 Padang before and after using discovery learning model. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded three things, there are (1) skill of writing observation report text class VII SMP Negeri 22 Padang before using discovery learning model qualifications are on enough with the average value of 69,97, (2) skill of writing observation report text class VII SMP Negeri Padang 22 after using discovery learning model with good qualifications are on average value of 81,90, and (3) the influence discovery learning model impact skill of writing observation report text class VII SMP Negeri 22 Padang degrees of significance 0,95 and dk = n-1 because thitung > ttabel (5,81 > 1,70).Kata kunci: Pengaruh, Model Discovery Learning, Teks Laporan Observasi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to describe the error text sentences of explanation students in terms of aspects (1) improper use of effective sentence, (2) misuse of word choice, and (3) ketepataan spelling (capital letters , the use of punctuation , and spelling ) . The research was a qualitative descriptive method . The data source of this research is explanatory text of the seventh grade students of SMPN 12 Padang academic year 2015/2016 . Data of this research is the wrong sentence . Based on the results obtained the following data . First , in terms of syntax errors syntactic structures such as fault location subject. Second , word choice errors in the form of a pronoun (pronoun) is not appropriate , and the details are not exact words . Abstract

ABSTRACTThis article was written to describe the correlation of reading comprehension skill with the skill of writing the text of the result of observation of the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Lubuk Basung. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method. The sample in this study amounted to 40 people. The data of this research is the result score skill test reading comprehension and the result score skill test of writing the text of the result of observation. Based on data analysis and discussion, the following three things are obtained. First, the skill of reading comprehension of the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Lubuk Basung is in very good qualification  (88,42). Second, the skill of writting the text of the result of observation of the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Lubuk Basung is in good qualification (82,50). Third, there is correlation of reading comprehension skill with the skill of writing the text of the result of observation of the tenth grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Lubuk Basung because tcount>ttable(2,13>1,68). Kata kunci: korelasi, membaca pemahaman, menulis, teks laporan hasil observasi

Abstract

This research is purposedly done to describe activities of short stories learning implementation in Curriculum of 2013 in the stage of (1) building knowledge of the field, (2) modelling, (3) joint construction of the text, (4) independent construction of the text in SMP Negeri 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh. The type of this research is qualitative research which use descriptive method. Observation and interview methods are used in the data collecting proccess. The output of the research shows that the teachers of SMP Negeri 1 Kecamatan Payakumbuh building knowledge of the field by using three kind of activities. They are introduction activity, main activity, and closing activity. Modelling stage is done by giving the students short stories that are cut from newspapers. Joint construction of the text is done in a group by using continue-the-storie technic. The independent construction of the text is done by giving the students different theme of stories, and then they are asked to produce, edit, and publicate the stories in the wall magazine.Kata Kunci: pelaksanaan pembelajaran, Kurikulum 2013, teks cerpen

Abstract

The purpose of this study consists of three, namely: (1) describe the level of reading comprehension skills of expositional text of class students VIII SMP Negeri 2 Linggo Sari Baganti Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. (2) describe the skill level of expository writing of class students VIII SMP Negeri 2 Linggo Sari Baganti Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. (3) it describes the relationship between reading comprehension skills of exposition texts and the expository writing skill of class students VIII SMP Negeri 2 Linggo Sari Baganti Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. Based on the results of data analysis concluded three things as follows. (1) the reading comprehension skills of the expositional text of the classroom studentsVIII SMP Negeri 2 Linggo Sari Baganti Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan Are in Good qualification (B) with average count 78,03. (2) the skills of writing the expositions of classroom studentsVIII SMP Negeri 2 Linggo Sari Baganti Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan Are in Good qualification (B) with average count79,12. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analisis correlation between comprehension reading skill of exposition text and writing skill of text exposition for students at class X SMAN 7 Padang. The type of this stud was quantitative research with descriptive method and correlation design. Population in this study was students at class X SMAN 7 Padang that enrolled in year of school 2016/2017. Sample in study was determined by application of random sampling technique. Based on study finding, it was concluded that there was a significant correlation between comprehension reading skill of exposition text and writing skill of text exposition for students at class X SMAN 7 Padang with deliberate degree n-1 and confident level of 95%; tcount > ttable (3.58 > 1.68). Therefore, writing skill of text exposition has a correlation with comprehension reading skill of exposition text or student need to comprehend the exposition text to write it.Kata kunci: korelasi, membaca pemahaman, menulis, teks eksposisi

Abstract

ABSTRACT This article was written to know the correlation of reading comprehension skills of the text of the observation result with the skill of writing the text of the observation report of the students of grade VII SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris, Padang Pariaman District. This type of research is quantitative. The method used in this research is descriptive method with correlational design. The population is the seventh grade students of SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris, Padang Pariaman District, which is 105 people divided into four classes. The sample of this study is 32 people. The research consists of two variables, namely the independent variable (reading comprehension skills of the text of the observation report of the seventh grade of SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman) and the dependent variable (writing skill of the observation report of grade VII SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman). The result of the research shows that for the skill of writing the text of the observation result, it is necessary to read comprehension skill of the observation report. From the results of this study can be concluded that there is a significant relationship (meaning) between reading comprehension skills text report the results of observation with the skills of writing text reports of observations of students of class VII SMPN 2 Nan Sabaris Padang Pariaman on n-1 degrees of freedom at a significant level 95 % with thitung larger than ttable that is 5,652> 1,70. Kata kunci; membaca pemahaman, menulis teks laporan hasil observasi
