Abstract

Infrastruktur jalan di Indonesia saat ini sering kali dijumpai kondisi perkerasan jalan yang sering rusak. Salah satu penyebab kerusakan adalah kegagalan daya dukung tanah dasar. Daya dukung yang rendah dan potensi pengembangan yang tinggi yang sering terjadi pada tanah ekspansif. Tanah ekspansif adalah tanah yang memiliki kembang susut yang besar. Bila suatu konstruksi dibangun diatas tanah ekspansif maka akan terjadi kerusakan antara lain retakan pada perkerasan jalan. Salah satu cara yang digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut adalah menstabilkan tanah dengan meningkatkan daya dukung tanah asli. Stabilisasi yang digunakan pada penelitian ini berupa penambahan vermikulit dan lumpur bledug kuwu. Sifat vermikulit yang dapat menyerap air dan lumpur Bledug Kuwu yang memiliki bahan penyusun kimia hampir sama dengan fly ash, serta mengandung CaO seperti kapur, maka perlu dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan vermikulit dan lumpur Bledug Kuwu terhadap nilai kuat tekan bebas pada tanah lempung ekspansif. Vermikulit yang digunakan sebesar 4% untuk seluruh benda uji, dan variasi dari persentase lumpur Bledug Kuwu sebesar 5%, 10%, 15%. Dari hasil yang didapatkan terjadi kenaikan kuat tekan bebas pada tanah yang telah distabilisasi. Campuran optimum dengan nilai kuat tekan bebas tertinggi dihasilkan dari varian 3 yaitu 4% vermikulit dan 15% lumpur Bledug Kuwu.

Abstract

Awareness in implementing Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is a factor that affects the number of work accidents. Awareness of K3 behavior as a preventive measure aims to reduce and even eliminate the risk of zero accidents. Such awareness can be started before entering the world of construction work. The purpose of this research is to find out the awareness of K3 behavior in the Civil Engineering study program of Batam International University. The method used in this research is by distributing questionnaires containing statements related to K3 behavior. Respondents to this study numbered 64 students of Civil Engineering UIB. Respondents who filled out questionnaires were divided into two parts, namely students in the first and second years as well as third- and fourth-year students. The results showed the total percentage of all respondents' results reached more than 85% for K3 knowledge and awareness of K3 behavior both students first and second years or as third- and fourth-year students. Universitas Internasional Batam as one of university that nurtures the next labour in construction field has made efforts in reducing the number of occupational accidents by incorporating occupational safety and health education in curriculum and providing training with certification. The demographics of Universitas Internasional Batam students also become one of the factors that most have worked also play a role in understanding students on the importance of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) in the world of work.

Abstract

The Km-18 of Padang Bypass Road is an Arterial road class III-A. This road is burdened by heavy vehicles which carrying loads that exceed the permitted capacity. This activity can lead to road damage and a reduction in road life. This study aims to analyze the effect of traffic loads that exceed permitted capacity on road conditions, including the remaining life of the pavement and the degree of road damage. The primary data used is data on road damage conditions such as the discharge of road surface grains, potholes, and grooves. Secondary data used is in the form of LHR data for 2017 and 2018, also, the vehicle weight data obtained from P2JN West Sumatra Province. The analytical approach uses the 1993 AASHTO method in the form of a cumulative analysis of the 10-year ESAL plan, by the traffic design for flexible pavement. The result of this study indicates that the Km-18 of Padang Bypass Road has decreased 7.58% of its design life in 2020. The cumulative plan ESAL value is 70,792,016.05 and the cumulative ESAL overloading value is 192,394,000.9. The Truck factor (TF) in normal condition is 0.8176692, but in overloading condition, it is 6.1375255. The road life predicted to be ended in year 4 (in 2024), although it planned to end in 2027.

Abstract

The creation of a transportation system that ensures the movement of people, vehicles, and or goods smoothly, safely, quickly, cheaply, comfortably, and by the environment is already a development goal in the transportation sector. The target functional level of the road network will be determined by the level of traffic flow through the road network. Based on data from the Central Bureau of Statistics in 2017, Dumai City has national roads with a total length of 72 km, and provincial roads with a total length of 140 km. Every day nearly thousands of vehicles pass through that road. The trip that is carried out can cause quite a lot of displacement at the same time and has the potential to cause high travel generation. This activity certainly can result in jams. As a national road, Jalan Soekarno-Hatta must meet the requirements of comfort and safety so that traffic on this road can run well. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the road performance. The purpose of research is to find out the value of the degree of saturation and the value of the level of service on that road. The evaluation on the research by using PKJI 2014. Of the evaluations carried out, it is known that the Soekarno-Hatta road segment will experience congestion on Saturdays and Sundays. The highest peak hour is on Sunday at 14:00-15:00 WIB with a volume of vehicle 2300 vehicles/hour. Soekarno-Hatta's service level on Monday and Tuesday is in class D, while on Saturday and Sunday, the level of road service is in class F. Thus it can be concluded that the performance of the Soekarno-Hatta road section is classified as poor, so that action is needed for the future.

Abstract

Daerah Aliran Sungai (DAS) Riding terletak di Kabupaten Bangka Barat Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. DAS ini merupakan salah satu DAS yang termasuk dalam klasifikasi DAS yang dipulihkan dengan permasalahan umum berupa erosi lahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besarnya erosi tanah dan persebaran Tingkat Bahaya Erosi (TBE) pada daerah penelitian. Pada penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode USLE. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data karakteristik lahan, data curah hujan, peta jenis tanah (K), peta kemiringan lereng (LS), peta pengelolaan tanaman (C), dan pengelolaan dan konservasi tanah (P). Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan besarnya tanah yang tererosi pada DAS Riding yaitu sebesar 415105,268 ton/tahun atau 683,740 ton/ha/tahun dengan Kelas Bahaya Erosi masuk dalam kelas V (sangat berat) dengan tingkat bahaya erosi pada DAS Riding yaitu kelas sangat berat dan kelas berat. Abstract

Concrete blocks are an alternative surface coating for road construction made of a mixture of cement, filler and water. The road that will be redesigned with pavement thickness is the DR. Moh. Hatta section of Pasar Baru - Gate of Unand Padang. This road has an uphill contour so that conventional roads are unable to withstand the flow of water falling down, causing puddles that can damage the road construction. Pavement thickness planning for paving block roads on Jalan DR. Moh. Hatta Padang uses the 1987 component analysis method and the 2002 component analysis method by entering the road planning parameters: the carrying capacity of the soil is obtained from the CBR value of the subgrade, the traffic load is obtained from the average daily traffic. With a subgrade CBR of 5.25%, 8 cm thick paving blocks with K-300 quality, 100% CBR crushed stone foundation layer, and 70% CBR gravel bottom foundation layer. So from the 1987CAM results obtained a surface layer with a thickness of 8 cm, 10 cm lean concrete, 15 cm top foundation layer, and 10 cm bottom foundation layer. While 2002 CAM obtained a surface layer of 8 cm thick, 10 cm of lean concrete, 10 cm of top foundation layer, and 10 cm of bottom foundation layer.

Abstract

Perkerasan jalan di Indonesia umumnya menggunakan Lataston atau dikenal dengan istilah Hot Rolled Sheet – Wearing Course (HRS – WC) dimana pada campurannya menggunakan aspal, agregat kasar, abu batu, dan bahan pengisi (filler). Pada penelitian ini menggunakan daun bambu sebagai filler,karena tanaman bambu banyak ditemui di Indonesia terutama di Pulau Jawa. Berdasarkan studi literature, daun bambu memiliki kandungan silika yang hampir sama dengan abu sekam padi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan abu daun bambu sebagai filler terhadap karakteristik campuran HRS – WC terdiri dari VIM, VMA, Stabilitas, Flow dan Marshall Quotien. Penelitian ini menggunakan variasi kadar abu daun bambu 1%, 2%, dan 3% terhadap berat campuran dengan varias kadar aspal 6%, 6,5%, 7%, 7,5%, dan 8% pembuatan campuran mengacu pada spesifikasi Bina Marga 2018. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian abu daun bambu mempengaruhi nilai Karakteristik Marshall pada benda uji. Hasil penelitian mendapatkan nilai KAO pada persentase kadar abu daun bambu sebesar 2 % dan kadar aspal 7,5% dengan nilai stabilitas sebesar 1941,67 kg, flow 4,23 mm, VIM 5,10 %, VMA 22,57 % dan marshall quotient sebesar 459,00 kg/mm. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa abu daun bambu berpengaruh terhadap karakteristik marshall sebagai filler.

Abstract

Dams aim to raise water from the average water level to the higher water level to be into rice fields located far from the river. Dams like this are called irrigation dams. An Irrigation dam with a small service scale of 3000 ha is a dam with a medium service level, and the function is the same as a large dam, but the physical and facilities are simpler. Moreover, the number of dams and remote locations makes it difficult to monitor, and it is necessary to make a priority scale for repairs. It can be made more accessible by prioritizing the restoration of each dam and ranking. Based on the above, research was conducted using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) on the components and sub-components of the dam. This study analyzes several dams in West Sumatra, namely Gunung Nago Dam in Kuranji District, Padang City, Banda Gadang Dam in Gunung Talang District, Solok Regency, Paneh Gadang Dam in Gunung Talang District, Solok Regency. Data collection techniques are carried out by direct observation to the field and questionnaires to resource persons who are water experts. The survey results and analysis showed a dam performance index from 1,2% to 2,7% with a low to moderate dam category and a level of vulnerability to dams from vulnerable - to moderately vulnerable. This result is an indication that higher performance values should be on priority for improvement. This method can be developed and used by policymakers to pay attention to dam performance.

Abstract

In order to counterbalance movement of the city is by building mass transportation. However, the number of users who interested in using Trans Padang Corridor IV is relatively low. Analysis of the performance and passengers characteristics of the Trans Padang Corridor IV Bus is useful for improving performance based on the characteristics of the passengers. This study used a quantitative method in the form of observations, interviews, and also questionnaires which were described descriptively. Performance analysis was based on the decision of the Director General of Land Transportation No.SK.687/AJ.206/DRJD/2002. Based on the performance analysis (load factor, headway, waiting time, amount of buses, travel time, speed, capacity and cycle time) only waiting time was in accordance with the reference. For the passengers characteristics dominated by women, age range 36-45 years old, live in Lubuk Buaya urban village, private employee occupation, salary range <Rp. 500,000, do not have personal vehicle, the distance from the house to the bus stop is about 500m-1 km, work trip destination, reach the departure bus stop and final destination on foot, the time took from the departure to the destination is <5 minutes, the location of the departure stop is at the Lubuk Buaya bus stop, the destination area is Lubuk Buaya urban village, and the reasons for choosing the bus are because of the safety and the convenience of the bus.

Abstract

Perkembangan konstruksi di Indonesia saat ini sangat pesat. Menyebabkan terjadinya persaingan antar perusahaan konstruksi untuk menghasilkan produk dengan mutu sesuai syarat yang direncanakan dan mengurangi kegagalan. Dalam menjamin suatu mutu, mucul suatu biaya yang disebut biaya mutu. Perencanaan biaya mutu pada lokasi penelitian cukup besar, oleh karena itu diperlukan pengurangan dari biaya mutu. Untuk menjamin mutu dan mengurangi biaya mutu diperlukan sistem manajemen mutu dalam pelaksanaan konstruksi. Sistem manajemen mutu ISO 9001:2015 adalah standar internasional yang telah diakui secara internasional. Tetapi dalam penerapan di lapangan masih belum sesuai dan terdapat banyak faktor hambatan. Oleh karena itu, dilakukan penelitian kuantitatif untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan ISO 9001:2015 terhadap kinerja biaya mutu. Pengambilan data yang dilakukan untuk menganalisis besar penerapan, hambatan serta pengaruhnya. Dalam pengolahan data menggunakan program SPSS dan Excel. Teknik analisis data meliputi pengujian validitas, pengujian reliabilitas, pengujian regresi berganda dan pengujian hipotesis. Untuk mengumpulkan data digunakan metode kuesioner, studi dokumen dan juga wawancara serta observasi langsung. Dari analisis menunjukkan bahwa besar dari penerapan ISO 9001:2015 sebesar 83,96% dinilai sangat baik. Faktor yang menjadi hambatan terbesar adalah kurangnya pengawasan terhadap program kerja yang berlaku dan kurangnya kontrol aktif terhadap kepuasan pelanggan. Penerapan informasi terdokumentasi juga sudah baik dilaksanakan. Kinerja biaya mutu sudah tinggi yaitu sebesar 0,3%, serta terjadi penurunan dari biaya rencana. Variabel sistem manajemen mutu mempunyai pengaruh secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap kinerja biaya mutu. Klausul 7 dan Klausul 10 mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan.
