KONSELOR ISSN: 1412-9760 (Print) , ISSN: 2541-5948 (Electronic) is a peer-reviewed journal and scientific journal published by Universitas Negeri Padang in collaboration with Indonesian Counselor Association (IKI). The aim of this journal is to publish high-quality articles dedicated to the latest outstanding developments in the fields of counseling. Abstract, Emotional independence is one of the most important in the motivation to learn as emotion plays an important role in encouraging a sense of self and mental activities that can foster the spirit of learning .. This research is a descriptive correlational aimed to examine the relationship between adolescent emotional autonomy motivation to learn in high school Adabiah Padang. From the results of the study show that there is a significant relationship between emotional independence and motivation to learn is at a level strong enough.

every student should be free of the problem studied. But in reality there are many students who are still having problems learning, especially in the field of learning skills. This study aims to describe students' learning problems related to learning skills as well as handling. This study classified the type of descriptive quantitative research. The study population of 323 students with a sample of 67 students at SMA N 2 Lintau Buo. The research instrument is the questionnaire. The findings of the research revealed: the high learning problems experienced by students at every skill learning, as well as the lack of interest of students to consult the learning problem faced by teachers BK.

Career maturity is readiness of individuals to deal with the tasks of the development of his/her career. Student’s development career task is make his/her education as a career direction. This study aims to describe career maturity of the Faculty Education Universitas Negeri Padang students class 2014, according to decision making style and gender. Population of this research is 336 students of Faculty Education Universitas Negeri Padang, with samples are 183 students choosen by proportional random sampling. The instruments used in this research is the career maturity scale and Assessment of Career Decision Making of Harren (1979). The results of this research are: 1) student’s career maturity are different significantly according to decision making style, 2) student’s career maturity aren’t different according to gender, 3) there isn’t interaction of decision making style and gender in explaining student’s career maturity.

 Abstract: Extracurricular activity is another activity that is done in extra time. That has purpose to get more knowledge and skill of students. In fact there are some of students did not know extracurricular activity because of some reason.This research is descriptive research. The population of research is students of class VIII SMPN 22 Padang, a number of 298 populations. The sample takes as random with random sampling75 populations. The data is collected by using enquette. Analyzed by using percentage technique. The research said 1). The talent that’s had by students channeled well after following extracurricular activity. 2). After following extracurricular activity, the students can develop their social ability in society. 3). Students creativity can channel well after following extracurricular activity at SMPN 22 Padang. 4). After following extracurricular activity at SMPN 22 Padang, students can make a plan student career in future based on the research, we hope that headmaster gives support to extracurricular activity with delivering facility as student needed, giving a facilitator with hoping the achievement of students will expand as optimal. The purpose of this research are to describe and distinguishing student’s learning skills achievement of high and low achievement. The research used quantitative approach using comparative descriptive type. The research conducted on students SMA Padang city that accredited A, B, and C in education 2011/2012 with population are 658 students. Number of research samples as much 120 students and in sampling using purposive sampling technique. The findings of this research revealed that (1) are generally high-achieving students 'skills in both categories, (2) skills of underachieving students in both categories, (3) analysis of t test results revealed there were differences in high-achieving students' learning skills and learning skills of students underachieving high schools in the city of Padang. Counselor are expected to help improve learning skills by providing guidance and counseling services to suit the needs of students, for consideration BK programming services in maintaining, developing and improving students' learning skills.

The ability of young people in foster independence behavior may be influenced by the social interaction of its peers. Phenomenon in the field most of the students like friends mocked when conveying ideas, some students lacked the courage to speak in front of friends and most difficult students convey their ideas to friends. The research aims to reveal how the relationship between social interaction with peers independence teenage behavior. Quantitative research methods to the type of correlational research. Student population SMP Negeri 1 Padang Panjang 703 people. Proportional sampling technique is random sampling with sample 88 people. The data analysis technique Pearson Product Moment formula with the program Statistical Product and Service Solution for windows release 17.0. There is a significant relationship between social interaction with peers independence adolescent behavior Pearson correlation of 0.389 significance level of 0.000, the relationship enough. Recommended for guidance counselor in order to improve counseling services and a facilitator to develop peer social interaction and independence behavior.

The aims of the research were: (1) producing prevention module of premarital sexual behavior on Senior High School students who were proper according to the experts in order to be used by guidance and counseling teachers/counselors, (2) describing the function of the module to prevent the students from premarital sexual behavior. This research was a development research which was conducted by using ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Research subjects consisted of three experts and twenty three guidance and counseling teachers/counselors. The result of the research shown that the module, the research product, is appropriate to be used to prevent the students from premarital sexual behavior and can be used by the students as well as the guidance and counseling teachers/counselors in preventing the students from premarital sexual behavior.

Motivation and learning skill are essential and mustbe owned by students to be successful in learning. But, the fact that are students with lack of learning motivation and learning skill. The aims from this research are: (1) to describing student’s learning motivation and learning skill which high achieving and underachieving, (2) to analyze student’s learning motivation and learning skill differences who high achieving and underachieving. This research using quantitative approach with comparative description type. This research conducted on students in VII and VIII grades at MTsN Salido Pesisir Selatan regency in 2013-2014 school year, with 258 students population, and 158 students as research sample using propotional random sampling techniques. Instrument for this research is questionnaire. Data analyzing for this research using descriptive statistic techniques and t-test using SPSS 16.00. Data analyzing revealed that (1) learning motivation students who is high achieving stand at high category, (2) learning motivation students who is underachieving stand at average category, (3) learning skill students who is high achieving stand at good category, (4) learning skill students who is underachieving stand at enough category, (5) there is a difference of learning motivation between students with high achieving and underachieving, (6) there is a difference of learning skill between students with high achieving and underachieving. The implication from this research to guidance and counseling is forming guidance counseling treatment programme that concern to students with underachieving in order to reach good learning result..

The Implementation of a good role and planned by the counseling/counselor’s teacher in schools (counseling teacher) and teachers generally can increase learning motivation of students who have a low learning result. This is based on the real phenomenon that shows students with low learning result tend to have a low learning motivation. This study aims to describe the role that is made by a teacher/counselor in improving learning motivation of students with low learning result. In its implementation, the role of the counselor teacher was affected through the services, including through information services and individual counseling services, and the role of the teacher were carried out through the guidance activities in the classroom and outside of the classroom. The type of this research is quantitative descriptive, the population in this study ,all teachers and counselor in SMAN 30 Padang, counselor teacher sample are 30 and teachers of subjects are 80, this study uses the instrument in the form of the now. The research of this study reveal: the role of subjects teacher and counselor teacher in improving the learning motivation of students with low learning result.

The study populationwas ahigh school studentPadangN5340peoplewith atotalsampleamounted to 77people. Questionnairedata collection techniquesto use. Datawere analyzed usingMicrosoftOfficeExcel 2007. The findingsshowed thatstudents'views of theaggressiveactionshurt peoplephysicallywith apercentage of35.32%, while theaggressiveactionsof the studentviewsofhurtingpeopleverbally41.30% and aggressionseenfromdamaginganddestroyingpropertyby30percent, 42%. Thismeans thatthe presence ofaggressivebehaviorinSMAN5Padang.Â
