Jurnal Sendratasik diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali pada bulan S Maret, Juni, September, dan December denganmemuat artikel / artikel penelitian di bidang musik, tari, dan drama serta pembelajarannya. Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

This article to describe Randai using methods Cooperative learning in class X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Batusangkar. Randai learning is one of the lessons in the school of art and culture that can be used by various methods, one of which with methods Cooperative.This type of research is qualitative descriptive method. The object of this research is the students of class X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Batusangkar conducting Randai learning to study for 4 meetings. The research instrument is the researchers themselves assisted by other supporting facilities such as a camera. Based on the results of this research is that learning Cooperative Randai method in class X IPS 3 SMA Negeri 1 Batusangkar can increase students' activity during the learning process, then can improve student learning outcomes it is seen from the prior use of cooperative methods only 14 or 42.42% of students which reached a value above KKM after using the methods of cooperative learning outcomes of students increased to 27 or 81.81% of the students scored above the KKM as well as with the appearance or performance randai students. The impact of the application of cooperative methods to the students is that students are more motivated, responsive, and a pleasure to follow the lessons.

Abstract

Abstract Eliciting and giving appreciation to society especially among the students toward traditional music, the lack of insight of educators in educational institutions makes students less knowledge about their traditional culture. The artist was interested in working a music project that based on talempong pacik learning in non public school art into the form of music school composition. The school of music is a music that is played by the students together in school and contains the education values. If it is seen from the level of difficulty, the artist provided material to be played which was match to the ability possessed by students of the school. It encouraged the artist to explore Cak Dindin song,  working on rhythm and melody in talempong pacikgua cak dindin into an art work form of creative music composition entitle Doak Dindin inspired by one of the repertoires of talempong pacik born in Minangkabau into some elements and techniques of farming out music that exists on the theory of Western music like unisono, interloking, proposta, riposta, singkopasi as well as using major and minor tones and the presence of diminusi and augmentation of the tone. This art work was played by the 8 players of musical instruments, namely talempong dasar, talempong paningkah, talempong anak, talempong rea, gandang tambua, sarunai, guitar, rapa'i and cymbals. Keywords: talempong, schools, cultural arts, composition

Abstract

This research aims to describe and explain the governance of the organization of Rumah Gadang Dance Art in managing the order well to be able to achieve achievement both national and international so that it remains exist and survive to date. This type of research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The main instrument in this research is its own researchers and assisted with supporting instruments such as notebooks, note taking tools, video cameras, photo cameras, and tape recorders. The data types in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are conducted by way of library studies, observation, interviews, documentation. The steps for analyzing data are data reduction, data presentation and withdrawal of conclusions. The results showed that the governance of the organization run by Sanggar Rumah Gadang can run well so that it produces good achievements. The research is included in a line organization (a form of organization where direct authority delegation is vertically and completely from leadership to its subordinates). The advantage of the line organization, all decisions can be resolved directly because in a particular situation the leader becomes one of the main targets in problem solving. Disadvantages of the line organization, if there is an issue or problem can not be resolved quickly because the leader is not in place. Thus the governance of the line Oganisasi to solve the problem or problems in the workshop, the head of the workshop became the first person to complete and resolve the issue.

Abstract

This article aims to reveal and describe the choreography of Piriang Bakencak dance at Sanggar Tuah Sakato in Kecamatan Pauh Kota Padang. This type of research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. This research instrument is self-research and assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. Data types use primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques are conducted by way of library studies, observations, interviews and documentation. The steps for analyzing data are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and withdrawal of conclusions. The results showed that Piriang Bakencak dance was a group-shaped creation that used the composition of the group, and was directed by a lift in the Koto Anau tradition. This Bakencak dish dance is a development of tradition with a choreography approach. In Piriang Bakencak dance There are elements of dance composition consisting of theme, motion, top design, floor design, dramatic design, music design, process, equipment and choreography group. It was concluded that Piriang Bakencak dance was directed by planning choreography by the fact. Because Piriang Bakencak dance in the start of an idea that is present from the tradition, and was directed in a form of a clear, then directed again with more new movements.

Abstract

Abstract This research was done due to the lack of student’s in learning arts at SD Negeri 18 Koto Tangah Tilatang Kamang. The lack of activities was caused by the unvaried learning method being used at the school. To overcome the problem,  the PAIKEM strategy was applied in this class action research. This research aimed at improving the fifth grade student’s activities in learning arts. Based on the data analysis, it was found that the use of PAIKEM in arts improved student’s activities. It was seen from the percentage of 78.5% for student’s attention to teacher, 62.0% for student’s exercises, 27.3% for student’s questions towards their learning, and 54.0% for their participations in front of the class.   Kata kunci: Activities,Ansamble,PAIKEM

Abstract

Abstract The creation of the dance Works "Kumara" aims to create creative dance works and train, educate the creative power of a choreographer or stylist to prepare the idea of being directed through an innovative motion as a language of communication in dance works.  The plot on the dance works "Kumara" tells of the child as the most injured victim when his parents decide to divorce. The form of presentation in the dance Works "Kumara" is symbolic of representational. The results of the study show that "Kumara" is a dance work inspired by the social phenomenon of life in which family integrity is the most important thing in a family. When the child becomes a victim of his parents ' farewell, the child's behavior in responding to divorce also varies depending on their age when the event occurs.  Children of divorce victims will tend to be more inclined, aggressive because of the erratic feeling. Silent culture will also arise due to parents ' divorce. The silent culture will be characterized by the absence of communication and dialogue between family members. The dance Works "Kumara" is a dramatic dance. The interpretation of the parents ' inner turmoil is manifested through motion, stage, make-up, fashion, lighting, and emphasized by the music. Keywords: Kumara, Dance Kumara, Perform Art

Abstract

AbstractThis research was initiated by the implementation of music art learning based on syllabus of curriculum 2013, in the ensemble music lesson it was found that teacher still use conventional methods of teaching. The role of teacher is not demonstration samples to student is not correct, teachers also have not untilized the media to proride teaching materials to students. This has an impact on the value of students who are still less good is 60% of students get grades under the KKM and also 40% of students get a fitting value on KKM. The purpose of this research is to describe what  elements and effects of audio visual media on learning to play ensemble music.The type of this research is descriptive by using qualitative approach, the object of this research is a students of 8th grade of SMP N 5 Pariaman. In this case reseaechers suggest to teachers to use audio visual media in conveying the material that will be taught to students is learning to play ensemble music.Bused on this research, the following results are obtained: first, the elements of audio visual media itself, form; a. its easy to move; b. can be replayed or overheard and viewed again and again; c. make students really understand the conten of the subject matter with more indepth analysis and make students think more specific about the subject matter; d. can overcomethe limited experience possessed by learnes; e. can stimulate active participation of hearing students, and can develop imagination such as writing, drawing and etc; f. audio visual media allows for  interaction between learness and the surrounding environment; and g. increase the attractiveness and attention of students. The second results, there was a change of attitude toward students in learning, what is shown through student behavior becomes more serious, passionate about learning, and the student score rose to 60% of the students were in the KKM and 40% of the students were above the KKM.Key Words: Media, Audio visual, Learning

Abstract

AbstractThis article aims to describe students' interest in learning music art based on the Curriculum 2013 in Public High School 1 2 x 11 Kayu Tanam Kabupaten Padang Pariaman. This type of research was descriptive research using a qualitative method approach. The types of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Techniques of data collection were carried out by using questionnaire, interviews, observation, documentation and library research. The data or information that has been collected was processed and analyzed by using the principle of qualitative analysis. The results of this study indicate that from the methods and media used, it turns out that the Curriculum 2013 that has been implemented in Public High School 1 2 x 11 Kayu Tanam is a curriculum that prioritizes understanding, skill and character education, in the future students are required to understand the material, "active" in the discussion and presentations process and have a politeness and highly disciplined. It was concluded that the implementation of culture art learning by teachers based on the Curriculum 2013 was still not able to arouse students' interest in culture art learning and had not been able to make students' active 'in learning. Keywords: student interest, learning art music.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the structure of the dance movement of Lurah Kincia dance in Situjuah Batua village, Situjuah Limo Nagari district, 50 Kota regency. This study belongs to a qualitative research using analytical descriptive method. The data used in this study were primary and secondary data. The main instrument used was the researcher itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing instruments, cameras, and flash drives. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analysis was conducted by collecting the data, describing the data, analyzing the data, and making conclusions. The results showthat the movement structure of Lurah Kincia dance has basic elements related to the attitude and movement of the body parts starting from the head, body, hands, and feet. From the relationship system between those elements, it produces motive forms in the form of turn taking, and are related to each other like a chain.The hierarchical grammatical relationship system contained in Lurah Kincia Dance consists of 37 motifs, 6 phrases, 4 sentences, and 1 cluster. Lurah Kincia dance belongs to a syntagmatic relationship system. It is a system whose relationship is like a chain and cannot be separated or exchanged between one another.
