Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract

Abstract This article aimed to describe the function of Silek in ManjalangNinik Mamak ceremony in Sialang, Kapur IX,50 Kota,West Sumatera. This was a qualitative research that was used descriptive method. The object of the research was Silek. The data was collected through observation, interview and documentation. The data was analyzed by classifying the collected data which was match with the conceptual. The result of the research revealed that Silek had a function as a main of traditional ceremony and entertainment. As a main of traditional ceremony, Silek was done before Ninik Mamak entering the ceremony place. On the other hand, Silek also was enjoyed by pesilat and the audients. Kata kunci: fungsi, silek, upacara adat.

Abstract

Abstract  This article aims to disclose and describe analysis Dance choreography Indang Tapuak Situjuah on Sentak Sairiang Studio. This type of qualitative research is using descriptive motode. The object of this research is to analyze the Dance choreography Indang Tapuak situjuah on Sentak Sairiang in the workshop of Pariaman. The type of data in this study is the primary data and secondary data. The technique of collecting data in this research is the observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the shape of the choreography Dance Indang Tapuak Situjauh using the composition of large groups. In Indang Tapuak Situjuah Dance menggamabrkan quiet, cheerful atmosphere and excitement, Indang Tapuak Situjuah motion consists of 42 motif motion performed by dancers Indang Tapuak Situjuah with Frisky when the dancers play rapa'i the floor patterns and varied as there is in the form of a diagonal straight line, circle, rectangle, triangle, sometimes dancers spread dipentas three people form a triangle on the back in the middle of performances and four dancers line up abreast at the front. So the interaction between dancer and spectator. Contents of the Tapuak Dance in Indang Situjuah, reflects the idea or notion of Indang Tigo Jerong Dance which has three motif motion and choreographers develop it. The lines were crossed by the dancers to form as many as 10 group formation design. Tari Indang Tapuak Situjuah also has 10 top design that is focused upon the design, low, flat, angle, and high contrast. Dance costumes in Indang Tapuak Situjuah is the costume tradition has been dikreasikan in Pariaman, which had dikreasikan in accordance with the needs of Indang Tapauak Situjuah Dance with does not eliminate the costumes typical of the mngambarkan a girl minang. Music and Dance Tapuak Situjuah has the content, instruments played fast tempo, slow and fast, which can convey the mood and expression of Indang Tapuak Dance Situjuah. the instruments used Talempong, Gandang, shehnai and jimbe. Pawpaw and jimbe instrument is very instrumental in menbangkitkan atmosphere in Indang Dance Tapuak Situjuah, with a flow of calm, joyful and settlement. Key words: analysis of Dance choreography, Indang Tapuak Situjuah

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of Rabab Badoi art study is to describe the existence of Rabab Badoi in the jorong Pamatang Anjung community, Nagari Muaro, Sijunjung Regency. This type of study was qualitative with using descriptive method that was to provide clearly about the object under study. The main instrument in this study was the researcher and it was assisted by using camera, stationery and interview lists. Techniques of data management were done by analyzing, classifying primary and secondary data and then compiling them systematically. The result of this study is the existence of Rabab Badoi Art in the terms of theirs use and function in jorong Pamatang Anjung, Nagari Muaro, Sijunjung Regency. Based on the aspect of the use, Rabab Badoi Art is played on the elevation of Pangulu, Bakau and Request of the Local Government. The functions of Rabab Badoi art were as emotional expression, communication, entertainment, community continuity.Keywords: existence, use, function, Rabab Badoi art

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the motivation of students to take part in learning dance in SMP N 3 Padang. This type of research was qualitative research with descriptive analysis method. The main instrument in this study was the researcher selves and assisted with supporting instruments such as stationery and cameras. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. Techniques of data collection were carried out by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of data collection are presented, concluded and verified to obtain the correct data conclusions. The results showed that students' motivation in dance learning at SMPN 3 Padang was caused by individual students’ factors and teacher factors, with a poor percentage result, because the teachers in the learning process did not use varied methods and media. In the learning process, the teacher does not use media (laptops, pictures, videos, infocus, tape / speakers) as a tool. The teacher only explains the subject matter. From the results of observations and interviews, students' motivation looks less motivated caused by individual factors and teacher factors.Keywords: motivation, learning the art of dance

Abstract

Abstract   The artwork Gita Dua Budaya was inspired by the life journey of its composer that was born in the family which has two different cultures. They are Minangkabau and Mandailing existed among modern and heterogenic society. This musical artwork was aimed at : (1) combining two traditional arts,  Minangkabau traditional art and Mandailing traditional art, that were generated from the traditional instruments of each culture and added by modern instruments. (2) raising love toward the traditional art of Minangkabau and Mandailing particularly for the young generations. (3) encouraging to do further study on traditional artworks in the archipelago. (4) Motivating the students of Drama, Dance and Music to find the positive experiences in improving the ability and the quality of playing music.   Kata kunci : Budaya, Kesenian, Mandailing, Minangkabau, Musik Tradisonal.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Ritual art of Balota Palapah Pisang on Eid Al-Fitr in Bukit Bais Village, IX Koto Sungai Lasi District, Solok Regency. This research belongs to a descriptive research using qualitative research method. The research instrument was the researcher itself, and it was assisted by supporting instruments such as writing tools and cameras. The data were collected through literature study, observation, interview, and documentation. The steps of analyzing data were collecting the data, describing the data, and making conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the art of Balota Palapah Pisang is a performing art which was born, grew, and developed in the community of IX Koto Sungai Lasi, Solok Regency, and continues to be maintained even though it has stopped for a long time. The performance in Eid al-Fitr holiday is one of the most important events due to the fact that the Balota performance is the highlight of all games existed in the community. Balota Palapah Pisang art is performed at the first day of Eid al-Fitr in order to welcome it. Palapah Pisang Balota Ritual art has undergone a change in its performance. The art which was previously performed by making offerings at the beginning of the game is now no longer in use. Moreover, the art that was once considered as a mystical ritual is now only performed as a mean of entertainment for the community.

Abstract

Abstract   The objective of the study was to describe planning, activities, and increasing of study result with using the cooperative learning model typed “Think, Pair, Share” in studying of dancing at class VII 3 SMP 31 Padang. Study typed was study of classroom action research with qualitative and quantitative approaches. Amount 32 students were participated in this study. Study  results of the research cycle 1 shows the results of observation of the RPP was 82% (Good) increased to 96% (Very Good) in cycle 2. Teacher  Activities at cycle 1 was 64% (Less) increased to 89% (Very Good) in second cycle , while students activity cycle 1 was 66% (enough) increased to 89% (Very Good) in second cycle . cognitive Aspects of cycle 1 was 53% (less) increased to 85% (good) at second cycle . affective aspect of one cycle is 36 % (less) increased to 83% (good) cycle 1 second cycle . psychomotor aspect was 54.4% (less) increased to 88.4% (very good). The average results of student at cycle 1 was 76.8 increased to 88.18 in second cycle . Thus, by using cooperative model typed “think, pair, share” could increased the study result of Dance’s art Class VII 3 SMP N 31 Padang.   Keywords: learning outcomes, the model type cooperative think, pair, share, learning the art of dance

Abstract

Abstract This article aims to find out and describe the existence of Selawat Dulang in Padang Sibusuk community which includes the use, function, position, meaning and effort to keep the existence of Selawat Dulang in Nagari Padang Sibusuk. This research was descriptive research using a qualitative approach. Instruments in this study were researcher self and assisted with the supporting instruments such as notebooks, stationery, and camera. The technique of data collection was done through literature study, observation and interview. The technique of data analysis was done by observation steps, identifying data, interpreting data, describing data and making discussion. The results show that the Art of Selawat Dulang is still existing and awakened in the mind of Padang Sibusuk people in accordance with the needs of Padang Sibusuk community. This study shows that Selawat Dulang has several functions. They are social function, as entertainment and group existence. The results prove that the position and meaning of Selawat Dulang in the community of Padang Sibusuk strengthening its existence and making Selawat Dulang as a form of cultural preservation. Keywords: Use, Function, Meaning, Existence, Selawat Dulang

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the emphasizing is on pulses understanding in the Drums 1 Yamaha Music Foundation teaching material. The type of this research is a qualitative paradigm with a content analysis approach. The object of this research was the Drums 1 Yamaha Music Foundation book, and the research subject was pulse suppression contained in the drum practice material. The research instrument was the author itself and was assisted by supporting instruments such as stationery, laptop, and mobile phone. The data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation. The data types were primary and secondary data. The data were analyzed through practicing, analyzing, eliciting findings, describing findings, and making conclusion. The results show that the Drums 1 Yamaha Music Foundation book is a teaching material intended for students / drummers at the beginner stage (beginner) in the 10th & 9th grade. Therefore, Yamaha provides systematic learning and focuses on pulses as a reference for learning, so pulses are considered crucial. This study reveals the pulses implicitly stated in the Drums 1 Yamaha Music Foundation book where pulses are implemented in 3 forms of practice patterns which are mutually applied. The quarter pulses applied to stick control is a main foundation to orchestrate the pulses in the from of not subdivision, not variation, rhythm pattern, and the drum fill-in. The difference is on where the focus is located. So the research definitively has proven that there is emphasizing of pulses which are presented in various forms of practice patterns.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the implementation of cultural arts learning (music) of traditional gandang tambua in Mts Negeri 4 Padang Pariaman in which the game of gandang tambua in madrasah is an implementation of the local content curriculum used by madrasah in the curriculum 2013. The research method was qualitative research with using a descriptive analysis research approach. The object of research was the learning activity of Tambua traditional music which was carried out at class VIII-1 both of theory and practice learning. The research instruments used were observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Techniques of data collection were done by taking documentation notes, field notes and interviews guideline. The results of the study explain that the implementation of cultural art learning (music) of the gandang tambua in MTs Negeri 4 Padang Pariaman still uses the usual or conventional methods. The use of lecture, question and answer, discussion and training methods by imitating the game gandang tambua that the teacher always demonstrates is applied in theory and practice learning activities. Besides that, in the training activityof gandang tambua, the teacher introduces the activitiy of imitating, remembering and memorizing the model of the punch that the teacher demonstrates. These learning ways raise variety of problems in practice, especially when explaining and practicing the gandang tambua in front of the students, the teacher does not look for methods that are suitable and also the teacher does not use adequate learning media.
