Abstract

Abstract. After the Covid-19 pandemic has changed the order of the tourism business which must prioritize health, cleanliness, and security. Hoteliers such as Hotel Novotel Bandung anticipate changes in tourist trends by implementing Cleanliness, Hygiene, Sanitation, and Environment (CHSE) certification and developing internal service strategies so that hotel occupancy rates can quickly increase again. Teamwork and achieving the vision become management orientation. Therefore, the morning briefing is used as an internal communication medium to continuously monitor service quality and build employee engagement. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and secondary data. The results of the study show that having a morning briefing before starting work makes internal communication run smoothly and coordination between departments becomes easier and employee engagement is built. The culture of morning briefings must be carried out regularly to maintain the commitment to creating business sustainability for Novotel Hotels.Keyword. employee engagement; morning briefing, employees; occupancy; hotel

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect and description of Profitability, Liquidity, Company size and Debt Policy for metal and other sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2015-2020 period. The method used is to describe the variables studied and determine the effect of profitability, liquidity and company size on debt policy. The data used in this study are the ratios of ROA, CR, Size and DER during the 2015-2020 period. The data processing used is panel data regression analysis. The hypothesis testing used is the regression significance test and the regression coefficient significance test. Based on the results of the regression significance test, it is found that the regression model created can be accepted and continued, while from the results of the regression coefficient significance test, it is found that profitability has no significant effect on debt policy while liquidity and company size have a positive effect on debt policy.

Abstract

Academic procrastination, if left unchecked and unmanaged, will have an impact on reducing student productivity and fatally have a negative impact on their future. This research focuses on three aspects that can be personally managed by students and are seen as having a relationship to academic procrastination, namely self-efficacy, time management, and self-motivation. The sample used in this study was 150 students from the Faculty of Economics, University of Sanata Dharma, using the quantitative method and the SPSS version 25 test tool. The data were obtained by distributing questionnaires, which were then processed by Pearson Correlation Analysis using One Tailed. The results of the correlation analysis test are that (1) there is a negative relationship between self-efficacy and academic procrastination; (2) there is a negative relationship between time management and academic procrastination; and (3) there is a negative relationship between self-motivation and academic procrastination.

Abstract

Abstract. This paper explores the potential issuance of blue sukuk to finance the blue economy project in Indonesia. We first analyze current initiative of Indonesia’s Blue Economics program. Using the theory of change approach, we model the example of blue project and design the suitable sukuk structure to finance the project. We then develop a framework for financing the program using sukuk structures which previously designed for green sukuk.  It is hoped that by issuing the blue sukuk, it may support the SDG program for sustainable finance of blue economics program. Our framework is suitable for both sovereign and corporate blue sukuk. Furthermore, the project-based blue sukuk may support to alleviate the poverty of people who live along the coast and protect them from the impact of climate change. Finally, this study contributes to lay the foundations for further work on Blue sukuk in Indonesia and International as well.Keywords. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that influence the quality of work results which include ethical orientation, professional commitment, audit experience, job satisfaction and motivation. This research method uses a type of qualitative research. The data analysis technique used in this research is data analysis arranged by Miles and Huberman. The results of the factors that affect the quality of work of employees at PT. United Motor Center Gresik in terms of internal factors are human resources, employee work experience, employee responsibilities, and employee capabilities. While the external factors are the environment, company leadership, work facilities, superiors' trust in subordinates, and salary. Job satisfaction affects the quality of work of employees at PT. United Motor Center Gresik. A comfortable work situation also makes a big contribution that can affect the quality of the employee's work itself.

Abstract

The future business model of the Indonesian banking sector is determined by the development of information technology in the course of the digital revolutions. Recognizing the importance of this matter, this study aims to analyze the financial performance of the banking sector before and after the emergence of financial technology (fintech) companies. The study uses financial ratios, including return on assets (ROA), loan to deposit ratio (LDR), and capital adequacy ratio (CAR), to measure the performance of banks. Overall, the study suggests that the emergence of fintech has brought both challenges and opportunities for the banking sector.

Abstract

:This study aims to determine the effect of brand image and electronic word of mouth on customer loyalty in Shopee application users and gender as a moderating variable. The approach used is descriptive quantitative research with SMARTPLS 4.0 analysis. Shopee application users are the study population. The sampling method is non-probability sampling of 211 respondents from purposive sampling. The results showed that brand image and electronic word of mouth had a significant positive effect on customer loyalty using Shopee. Gender moderates brand image positively and not significantly, but gender moderates electronic word of mouth positively and insignificantly

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze job analysis, workload analysis and career development on employee performance at the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of West Java Province. As well as the influence of job analysis, workload analysis and career development on employee performance at the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of West Java Province The research method used in this study is a survey method, while the types of data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. The object of this research is the employee at the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources ofWest Java Province, with the sampling technique using the simple random sampling method. The data analysis technique used is path analysis. The results of this test prove that simultaneously and partially job analysis, workload analysis, career development and leadership style have a significant effect on employee performance at the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources of West Java Province

Abstract

Customer retention (Customer Retention/CR) is very important for a company, with customer retention the company can survive and continue to grow. Many policies have been made by CEOs of multinational companies as well as research conducted by researchers to find out what factors are effective and have an impact on customer retention. This study aims to determine the relationship between the variables Service Quality, Customer Relationship Management, Customer Satisfaction, and Customer Retention. The analysis is based on 217 respondents who are customers who have used services at the company through a survey questionnaire. The measurement model for the analysis of the research hypothesis uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) procedure. The results showed that the CRM variable had a positive effect on the SQ variable, the SQ variable had a positive effect on the CS variable, the CRM variable had a positive effect on the CS variable, the SQ variable had a positive effect on the CR variable, the CRM variable had a positive effect on the CR variable, the CS variable had a positive effect on the CR variable CR. The advice that can be given is the need to maintain and improve the quality of service and customer relations, because it will give the company customer satisfaction which has an impact on customer retention. Companies also need to consider the feedback obtained from the customer relationship system to improve service quality and customer relations themselves.
