The MyPertamina application made by a state-owned company is an innovation in the form of  an e-wallet that is connected to LinkAja to make it easier for customers to transact at Pertamina gas stations on a cash-less basis.  This study aims to analyze fintech services available at MyPertamina in increasing customer engagement. This research was conducted using qualitative research with a descriptive approach.  Data collection techniques are carried out with a study of literature.  The data obtained is primary data in the form of the number of MyPertamina consumers since its launch in August 2019 to April 2022. MyPertamina in increasing customer engagement has problems in implementing MyPertamina, namely that there are bugs such as the difficulty of obtaining otp codes and Pertamina officers do not fully understand the use of MyPertamina. Abstract

Prior studies report that accountability practice in a place of worship, i.e., church, is more to practicing sincerity and faith to God than to provide documents and transaction evidence. However, recent findings indicate that there is an increased fraud and embezzlement in churches. Using a stewardship theory, this study aims to explore the practice of accountability and transparency of a church’s financial activities from the perspective of its management and congregations. A HKBP church in Bandung, Indonesia, is chosen as the case study. A qualitative method is used in this study. The data obtained is through interviews, documentation, and observation. Key informants who participated in the interviews were the head of congregations, the treasurer and the treasury assembly staff. Also, three congregations were selected using purposive sampling to participate in responding to the questions. The findings show that the practice of accountability in the HKBP church is perceived good by its members. The involvement of congregations in decision making process in the church makes them satisfied with how the church is managed.

Abstract

Indonesia is one of the countries that adopt the two-tier system, where there are separation functions between directors and commissioners. Indonesia is also dominated by family firms. In relation to the agency problem, the concentration of ownership by the family in the company and the existence of independent directors in the company's board of directors are two things that are importantly considered as corporate governance practices. This study aims to find out how family ownership in Indonesia influences the demands of corporate governance practices and examines how independent directors moderate those relationships. The study used 69 companies listed in the ASEAN Corporate governance Scorecard with a four-year study period from 2012 to 2015. Using the regression method of panel data, this study found that the greater the family ownership of firms in Indonesia, the smaller the company's demands to good corporate governance practices. While the independence of directors and the size of the board moderate the relationship positively. Keywords: Corporate governance, Family firms, Independent director, Agency theory

Abstract

Abstract. Milk quality is represented by Total Plate Count (TPC) value, the indicator of microbial contamination number in milk after production. The standard value is determined and set by the Codex and SNI 3141:1:2011 standards. The higher the TPC value, the lower the quality of the raw milk. This value determines the category of milk quality which impacts the payment scheme and the quantity of milk supplied to the Milk Processing Industry. As a consequence, farmers who collected lower quality milk received unfavorable financial outcomes. The aim of the research was to eliminate defects in milk quality by focusing on the quality control in the production system using Six Sigma approach. The Defects per Million Opportunity (DPMO) calculation was used to measure the quality of product in every one million opportunities. In this study, the DPMO showed 155,854 defects in every one million milk bulk collection held in 5 TPK. Two factors which decreased milk quality were the contamination in the milking process and in the milk collection process. To overcome the issue, technology and behavioral-based quality management systems are integrated to control the milk production and collection effectively and efficiently. Digital milk collection point is proposed to avoid contamination during milk collection through digitalization of data recording, milk test performed to individual samples, and access to test results. The digitalization can decrease the required time of milk collection and testing process. To raise the awareness of farmers towards quality and good farming practice, barn inspection is implemented using farming procedure infographics, Good Farming Practice training, and farmer certification.Keyword. quality management system; dairy industry; digital milk collection; technology; behavior
