Abstract

Abstract. The development of e-philanthropy, namely philanthropic activities through digital platforms both in the form of applications and social media, found its best momentum when the Covid-19 outbreak entered Indonesia and became a pandemic that had a huge impact on the Indonesian economy. The implementation of social distancing or physical distancing policies  causes economic activities to be hampered and causes a decrease in people's income. In an effort to synergize with the government to continued to maximized human development activities according to the Indonesian human development paradigm as a whole, namely Indonesian people who are physically healthy and fulfilled the needs of clothing, food and housing and have a healthy and strong mentality, the wider community as one of the stakeholders development can implemented its role. Through philanthropic activities. E-philanthropy through social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and WhatApp, as well as Digital Platforms or applications such as Kitabisa,Com, Amal Sholeh.Com, etc are quite important in this regard. Some of the identified forms of e-philanthropy included; (1) Family Philanthropy (18 institutions), (2) Corporate Philanthropy (17 institutions), (3) Religious Philanthropy (30 institutions), (4) Independent Philanthropy (37 institutions), and (5) Media Philanthropy (4 institutions) .As for the role of e-philanthropy in the development of human resources physically and as well as mentally/spiritually, it can be identified based on the e-philanthropy cluster formed based on the principle of the use of funds and their used. The philanthropic clusters are: (1) E-Philanthropy For The Zakat Cluster on Sustainable Development Goals (SDG's), (2) E-Philanthropy  Cluster For Indonesian Education, (3) Cluster E-Philanthropy For Residential Urban Areas, (4) E-Philanthropy  Cluster Philanthropy For Food   Nutrition Security, (5) Cluster E-Philanthropy For Health, (6) Cluster E-Philanthropy For Environment Conservation and also (7) Cluster E-Philanthropy For Arts Culture.Keyword : E-Filantrofi, Development, Socia Media, Platform Digital

Abstract

This study held an evaluation on the role of Tax Risk Management and Government Governance in accordance with international tax practice with tax avoidance. This study uses panel data from year 2010 to 2016 of multinational companies in 4 ASEAN countries namely Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Philipines as samples. The study result proves that Tax Risk Management and Government Governance successfully decrease international tax avoidance practice in multinational companies in ASEAN especially on Thin capitalization and multinational practice. It means the company performing internal supervision by having task risk management and a better government governance can minimize the negative impact of international tax avoidance practice. Meanwhile, tax havens practice is not significantly influenced since some samples of this study are multinational companies in tax haven country namely, Singapore and Labuan Malaysia. Therefore, the role of task risk management and government governance is not too significant.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of the competitiveness of export products in West Java for the 2015-2019 period. The analysis used in this research is comparative advantage index analysis using Revealed Symmetric Comparative Advantage (RSCA). By using the comparative advantage index analysis per commodity in West Java, the results show that most of the superior products in West Java have not experienced significant changes, but there will be some products that have decreased competitiveness (comparative). The low competitiveness of superior products in West Java is caused by several things, such as the non-conducive macro economy, weak technology development, weak competitive climate (micro); and the inaccuracy of the business development strategy implemented by business actors and other shareholders. In addition to these things, there are several inhibiting factors in increasing the competitiveness of West Java's leading export products, among others, unsettled production factors, poor institutional factors, and the relationship and utilization of supporting industries that have not been maximized.

Abstract

In 2020, the advance technology of business activity has come to the phase where the promotion is in a form of digital marketing. It promotes to a broader range of costumer. A design on how digital marketing affects the tourism visit and city image is needed. This research is descriptive qualitative research involving the implementation of digital marketing conducted by the City Government of Tasikmalaya and the Department of Tourism, Youth and Sports through the Tasik October Festival event. Data collection techniques was literature study and interviews with the organizers of the Tasik Oktober Festival event. The data were then analyzed descriptively using data triangulation techniques. This research found that a design of digital marketing that consists of quality website, strong social media presence, enganging content and mobile-friendly, a virtual brand awareness can be developed and product images can be built, this is because through digital media, old consumer and new consumer meetings can occur

Abstract

Urbanization and urban development are unavoidable along with the socio-economic development. impact that is a challenge for cities with rapid urbanization, booming economy, the rise in community living standards have increase the amount of waste generation. Solutions are needed that can reduce the impact and the amount of waste produced. Developing countries such as China, Malaysia, India, Thailand and Indonesia began to see waste-to-energy as one of the solutions. Indonesia has begun to build a waste treatment plant that converts waste into power generation, RDF, or other products that have value. In Indonesia the processing of waste into energy in this case RDF was built in Nambo. However, in the process there are variety issues such as political, economic, social, technological, environmental  and legal. The difficulty often faced such as public opposition, poor decision making, financing and others. This research aims to find out what challenges faced in the development and sustainablity of WTE at TPPAS Regional Nambo using analysis PESTEL. WTE project is one of solution to faced the amount of waste that keep increasing every year, because the amount of waste isn’t balance with landfill area. Besides the processing process produces products that have a sale value.

Abstract

Abstract. This study identifies the readiness, perceptions and preferences of students in facing online learning. This study will also propose an effective online learning model design. Data obtained from 362 students through a questionnaire using a likert scale. The results shows that in general the students are ready to carry out the process of online learning. Besides using a live conference media, students prefer the use of teaching videos made by lecturers himself as an alternative method when quota and internet signals are the main problems. The distribution of learning materials should be carried out at least one day before the learning schedule. Meanwhile, the allocation of lecture time is not too much in the attendance process. Furthermore, the evaluation process is also carried out for each material topic. Thus, the focus of the on learning model should consider teaching media, material distribution, time allocation and learning evaluation process. Keywords: readiness, preferences, on line learning; effective

Abstract

The study aims at analyzing and explain the influence of system quality, information quality, service quality to user satisfaction e-learning system in the Master of Accounting. Total population of this study were 451 students with a total sample of 82. The sampling technique using proportional random sampling. The analytical method used GSCA (Generalized Structured Component Analysis). The results showed that the system quality, information quality, and service quality significantly influence user satisfaction e-learning system. The better the perception of the quality system, the quality of information, and the quality of service it will further increase user satisfaction.

Abstract

The dream of every undergraduates is to get a fascinated well-paid Job after school. One of the courses that could aid students’ employment is the vocational and entrepreneurship courses. Due to the high number of students who partake in this course, some technologies were employed for the instructional process. One of such is the Google classroom. However, there are some complains from students on these learning technological platforms. This study therefore investigates the barriers limiting the use of google classroom for learning vocational and entrepreneurship courses. This study employs the survey method and 250 undergraduates were purposively sampled. The findings established that Poor power supply, loss of class control, High cost of purchasing relevant materials, Lack of adequate support system and laziness encouragement are barriers that hinder students’ use of google classroom for learning vocational and entrepreneurship courses. The study concluded that some barriers which hinders students from using Google classroom for learning should be resolved. It was however recommended that the use of google classroom should be encouraged in schools, not only for learning vocational and entrepreneurship courses but for other courses.

Abstract

Riau Archipelago is one of the provinces established in the regional autonomy era. The province is enforced to well manage its local own-resources in realizing regional autonomy. This study is aimed at analyzing the degrees of independence, dependence, and fiscal decentralization of the province. Through the ratio analysis, it is expected that this study can give some references to the Provincial Government taken as the subject of the study, i.e. related to decision making aimed at increasing its regional independence as well as decreasing the dependency towards the Central Government. This study uses the Report on Local Government Finances of the Province of Riau Archipelago for the financial year of 2014-2020 as the research data. This study uses quantitative descriptive analysis method based on the local government finance ratios including regional financial independence ratio, regional financial dependence ratio, and regional fiscal decentralization ratio. This study shows that from regional independence aspect, the financial performance of the province is in medium fiscal capacity (55.84%) with participative relational pattern. Based on the degree of regional dependence aspect, it is in very high category (64.17%) while due to regional fiscal decentralization degree, its regional financial performance is in good category with an average of 35.69%.

Abstract

The ability to build a business is one of the challenges as well as competencies that must be possessed by entrepreneurs today. This study explains what entrepreneurial competencies must be possessed by an entrepreneur to have good business performance. Because the ultimate goal of running a business is to achieve business success. This study aims to obtain 1) the effect of knowledge on business performance, 2) the effect of skills on business performance, 3) individual abilities on business performance in 2013 business education alumni by using a quantitative research approach. The results of the study found that the description of Entrepreneurial Competence for the 2013 Business Education alumni at UPI was in the fairly good category, the Business Performance Description for the 2013 Business Education alumni at UPI was in the medium category, and the magnitude of the influence of the Entrepreneurial Competency dimension on Business Success partially, namely, the Knowledge dimension. not complex, so it will affect Business Performance. Meanwhile, the Individual Ability dimension does not affect Business Performance. Meanwhile, simultaneously (overall) there is a positive and significant influence.
