Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify barriers to achieving environmentally conscious behavior in Kasang Village, Jambi City, and how to improve river-based eco-citizenship to foster environmentally conscious character in the community. A descriptive approach was used in this qualitative research. Interviews, observations and documentation were the data collection methods used in this research, which involved two RT heads and ten residents as informants. The data analysis methods used include reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that strengthening river-based ecological citizenship in Kasang Village, Jambi City, researchers carried out additional outreach regarding strengthening ecological citizenship regarding rivers, ethical and moral procedures for the community in dealing with the environment and overcoming environmental problems. The community is aware of the obligation to protect rivers by disposing of rubbish in temporary dumping sites and recycling rubbish for learning in schools and the obstacles in strengthening ecological citizenship. There are no special government programs for protecting the river environment. There are only environmental programs around the river basin

Abstract

This research aims to learn to analyze and describe the Implementation of Surveillance Policy by the Environmental Services of Minahasa District. The research method used is descriptive dermatative. The number of informants in this study is five. Data collection using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis through Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusion Drawing. The results of the research show that the Programme of Action: the program of cleaning up the toubeke river is only carried out by the plumage and depletion. Here DLH contributes to the transportation of garbage. DLH provides fleet/facilitating vehicles and involves several officers. In 2023, he's already done twice a garbage cleaning program on the toubeke river. Executives: No special units have been assigned from the Environmental Services, adding that this lack of skilled personnel clearly constitutes an obstacle to enforcing supervisory functions. Results: From surveillance seen by DLH the toubeke river is still dirty These problems arise, among other things, because the laws made by the government are less stringent so that the people do not obey or do not perform as they ought to be as already laid down in the law.

Abstract

This research aims to assess the impact of using the jigsaw cooperative learning model on students' achievements in the Introduction to Political Science course. The study employs a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design. The research population includes all students in class AB, Semester I, 2023 intake, majoring in Public Administration at Manado State University, totaling 50 individuals. The research sample consists of students in class A as the experimental group, implementing the jigsaw cooperative learning model, and class B as the control group, using the conventional model. The research findings indicate that the use of the jigsaw cooperative learning model has a positive effect on students' understanding of government system materials compared to the conventional method. The data analysis results, using paired sample t-test for output pair 1 with a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, lead to the conclusion that there is an influence of the jigsaw cooperative learning model on students' learning outcomes in the Introduction to Political Science course.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of principals' leadership development programs in improving teacher performance and education quality. Through a qualitative approach with a case study method, we investigated the impact of the principal leadership development program in several schools. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of program-related documents at senior high schools. The results show that the leadership development program significantly impacts teacher performance and education quality. Principals who participated in the program experienced improvements in leadership skills strengthened inter-staff relationships and facilitated innovation in learning. Contextual factors, such as school support and staff commitment, also played an essential role in the program's success. This research highlights the importance of a sustainable approach to principal leadership development and emphasizes the need for strong policy support to underpin these efforts. The results of this study make an essential contribution to understanding the role and impact of principal leadership development programs in improving education quality.

Abstract

Introduction. The research aims to determine the values of character education in the traditional seloko of Sengeti subdistrict. The purpose of this article is to find out what character education values are contained in traditional seloko. Research methods. The research method used in this research is descriptive, namely an ethnographic study which aims to explain the values of character education in the traditional seloko of Sengeti Village. Results and Discussion. The results of this research illustrate: first, carrying out and applying various traditional seloko activities based on the Hadith and Al-Qur'an in accordance with the value of religious character education. Second, the attitude of thinking and acting in traditional seloko is based on a sense of sincerity and enthusiasm in accordance with the values of nationalist character education. Third, a responsible and trustworthy attitude in traditional seloko is in accordance with the value of independent character education. Fourth, an attitude of mutual assistance, respect and enthusiasm in accordance with the value of mutual cooperation character education. Fifth, an attitude of trustworthiness and trustworthiness is in accordance with the character education value of integrity. Conclusions and suggestions. Seloko Adat contains character education values. It is hoped that traditional institutions and the government will carry out traditional seloko training for the next generation of young people in Sengeti Village.

Abstract

Online gambling games among teenagers are a disturbing phenomenon. Actions that are detrimental to the teenager or other people. This research was conducted in Pematang Kandis Bangko Village. This research is qualitative research using descriptive methods. The informants in this research are 8 teenagers who play online gambling, parents of teenagers who play online gambling and 2 residents, with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis techniques used were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the majority of teenagers have a low level of legal awareness regarding the legal consequences of their participation in online gambling games, this cannot be separated from the factors that cause them to commit crimes in online gambling games, these factors are situational, social factors. and economics, perceived probability of winning and family factors. The impact of this lack of legal awareness can be seen in the behavior of teenagers who tend to ignore the laws related to online gambling even though they are aware of these laws. They may engage in gambling activities without considering the legal implications.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that influence the pedagogical content knowledge of Pancasila and Citizenship Education teachers of SMA Negeri 5 Metro on the material of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika. This research uses a qualitative method by using Shulman's theory which consists of 5 factors: 1) teaching experience; 2) training; 3) learning facilities and infrastructure; 4) teacher self-efficacy; 5) teacher self-motivation. The objects in this study were 2 grade XII Civics teachers. Data analysis used in this study is based on the results of observation sheets, interviews, and documentation studies. The results concluded that the factors that influence teachers' pedagogical content knowledge are 1) teaching experience; 2) training; 3) learning facilities and infrastructure. The other additional finding factors are 1) educational background; 2) ownership of certain positions in the school organization.

Abstract

Kaluna Badminton Club is a service business that provides a platform for young children to teenagers to become talented and accomplished athletes by practicing using the correct basic badminton techniques. The purpose of establishing this business is because there is not yet a single club that accommodates children from young age to adults to become proficient at playing badminton with the correct basic techniques in Imogiri District. This research was conducted to find out how to manage and develop business strategies at the Kaluna Badminton Club using the Business Model Canvas concept. The Business Model Canvas framework is used as a tool to achieve business targets in a detailed and structured manner. By using this study, it becomes easier for business processes to achieve their goals. The research results from this Business Model Canvas identification can provide the right business strategy choices for the Kaluna Badminton Club in each block. The blocks on the Business Model Canvas include customer segments, value propositions, channels, customer relationships, key resources, key activities, key partners, cost structure, revenue streams. Each of these blocks has its own role which is very important for achieving the business model.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the determining factors that influence purchasing decisions for Wiu Bakery products, namely those consisting of price, product quality and brand image variables. This research uses a convenience sampling technique or sampling by taking samples that are easy to find. Questionnaires were distributed to Wiu Bakery consumers from sales data of 50 consumers, but 41 respondents returned the questionnaire and were suitable for processing. The analysis tool uses multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that price and brand image have a positive influence on purchasing decisions for Wiu Bakery products. However, product quality does not influence the decision to purchase Wiu Bakery products

Abstract

This research describes several strategies used by school principals to implement the P5 or Strengthening the Profile of Pancasila Students Project, the concepts that students have about Pancasila Students, and the efforts and problems faced during project implementation. In addition, this research explains the preparation plan for starting the P5 project at SLB Muhammadiyah Ponjong. A qualitative descriptive approach was used in this research. Researchers collected data from school principals, teachers and students. The results of this research include first; The principal's strategy to increase the profile of Pancasila students inside and outside the classroom; second; the P5 project is the cultivation of the Pancasila character dimension in learning at school; and third; Some of the obstacles and opportunities in implementing the P5 project include a lack of awareness and understanding of Pancasila values ​​among students. Several obstacles seen from educators include limited time for teaching and learning activities, inappropriate lesson content, and lack of student interest in the subject. The project implementation stages involve socialization, technical training for creating teaching modules and project modules. The project preparation and implementation strategy consists of the first; SWOT analysis, both time allocation and determining profile dimensions. Third, Formation of a project team. Fourth, School Preparation Strategy, Fifth, Determining the project theme according to school readiness. Sixth, Creation of project modules, seventh, evaluation and improvement.
