This action can be categorised as a criminal offence, because it is contrary to the provisions of Article 1 of the Criminal Code which states that every person is prohibited from committing acts prohibited by law. The purpose of this study is to determine the concept of the criminal offence of vigilantism (eigenrichting) according to positive criminal law in Indonesia as well as to know and understand the form of criminal liability for the perpetrators of vigilantism (eigenrichting). This research uses normative-empirical legal research methods. The results showed that the concept of vigilantism (eigenrichting) according to positive criminal law in Indonesia that has been applied by the Public Prosecutor at the Konawe District Prosecutor's Office is Article 170 of the Criminal Code on Robbery, Article 338 of the Criminal Code on Murder, and Article 351 of the Criminal Code on Maltreatment. Abstract

This research aims to find out how influential the application of the show and tell learning method is on the speaking skills of class IV students at SDN Negeri Kebayoran Lama Selatan 12. The method used in this research is experimental. The research started from observations and interviews at school and then formulated a problem formulation with references from several journals, e-books and books. then continued with trials and comparing learning outcomes using conventional methods and after using the show and call method. From the results of the research, it can be seen that the number of students whose scores did not reach KKM in speaking skills using conventional learning and then using the show and tell method was 19 students, decreasing to 5 students with a percentage of 56%. Then further research was carried out using the show and tell method to obtain successful results. students 71.42% of which the value increased 15.42%.

Abstract

Education in the discipline of physics has experienced significant changes along with developments in technology and internet access. One of these innovative approaches that is increasingly popular is modeling-based online learning models. This article aims to conduct a comprehensive literature review on modeling-based physics learning models implemented online. This approach emphasizes the use of modeling as one of the main tools to facilitate students' deeper understanding of physics concepts. In order to understand and evaluate its impact, this research adopts a structured approach by combining in-depth research and thorough analysis of this online learning model. The theory underlying this learning model involves the integration of information technology and modeling approaches in physics teaching. Supporting data and evidence were obtained through critical research on the implementation of this model in the context of online physics education. In addition, this research measures its effectiveness using data on students' understanding of physics concepts, student satisfaction questionnaires, and participatory observation. The results of this research indicate that the modeling-based online learning model is effective in increasing students' understanding of physics concepts. In-depth analysis also revealed that this approach provides a more interactive and engaging learning experience for students, which is reflected in high levels of satisfaction. This research confirms the great potential of modeling-based physics online learning models in addressing modern educational challenges. The practical and theoretical implications of these findings pave the way for further developments in online physics education and provide a basis for further research in this area. By integrating modeling in online physics learning, we can create a more dynamic and effective learning experience for students in the digital era.

Abstract

Text as a means of learning Indonesian may be developed and conditioned in such a manner that it can be a successful technique for Indonesian language teachers. Understanding text-based Indonesian learning materials takes extensive preparation and conditioning on the part of students. Purpose of this study is to analyse, comprehend, and characterise the process of text-based Indonesian language acquisition as it is implemented by instructors at public high schools in Pontianak City. This study, which used a descriptive approach with a qualitative form, also targeted Indonesian language instructors by selecting five public high schools in Pontianak as a representative sample. Direct observation and interview approaches were utilised to collect data, with data collecting devices in the form of observation sheets and interview lists. Furthermore, triangulation techniques were used in the last step of the data analysis process to test the validity of new data utilising data collecting, data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the findings of observations and interviews, it was discovered that Indonesian instructors' text-based learning methodologies may more effectively and efficiently establish an environment conducive to Indonesian language acquisition. Because students may undertake a detailed examination and analysis of a text, their comprehension of its structure and linguistic qualities is more in-depth and thorough. This research can also provide studies and has for the Merdeka Belajar curriculum to continue to provide recommendations for text-based Indonesian language learning strategies so that learning indicators and objectives can be achieved.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMP Al Kamal Wonodadi Blitar to lift the personal recount writing skills of eighth-grade students, totaling 29 students, especially on the topic of personal recount by integrating mind mapping. The researchers implemented classroom action research based on Kemmis and Taggart's model with four main steps: planning, acting, observing, and evaluating, as well as reflecting. Data were collected through tests. The results of this study showed a significant transformation in students' writing abilities after using mind mapping, increasing from 55.66 in the pre-test to 81.14 in the post-test. This improvement involved various aspects of writing such as grammar usage, vocabulary selection, idea development, content quality, and mechanical accuracy in the context of personal recount texts. Based on these results, the researchers recommend that English teachers integrate mind mapping as an alternative tool to develop students' writing skills.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze critical thinking dimensions in an extensive reading program. The research qualitative research approach, with a case study design. The participants consist of students at the university who take part in extensive reading programs. Data were collected through reading reading logs and tests that measured students' critical thinking. The data collected from the critical thinking test was then analyzed statistically, while the log reading data was processed using a qualitative analysis approach. The results showed that there were differences in students' critical thinking test results before and after participating in the extensive reading program. This result was supported by the participants’ reading logs. The extensive reading program implemented by the researchers may not directly create significant changes in terms of average grades, but the results indicate that the program effectively improves students' overall understanding and critical thinking abilities. Therefore, although the results of the significance test are able to provide an idea of whether the changes that occur between the Pre-Test and Post-Test are random or not, the results of the Ho analysis highlight the substantial impact achieved through the treatment that the researcher provided.

The result of the study showed that both teachers used almost the same strategies such as brainstorming, reading aloud, and asking for specific information. While the teacher two used nine strategies. They were encouraging the use of dictionaries, reading aloud, reread for checking comprehension, evaluating comprehension in particular tasks, and asking questions for specific information. Both teachers applied and combined the strategies divided into three stages of teaching reading comprehension. The stages were pre-reading stage, while reading stage, and post reading stage. The strategies applied were very effective in teaching reading comprehension in that school. It was proven by the students’ motivation, students’ attention, and teachers’ ease in teaching and learning process.
