Abstract

This research aims to find out 1) how students' time management was before the classical guidance service. 2) how students' time management is after the implementation of classical guidance service. 3) whether the implementation of classical guidance services can improve students' time management. The research method used Guidance and Counseling Action Research. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 9 Semarang, the research subjects amounted to 36 students with the criteria of having moderate time management skills. The research data collection technique was obtained from a time management questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using a quantitative description. The results showed an increase in students' time management skills from the initial condition before being given action, namely an average of 63.4 to 70, 8 in cycle I and in cycle II to 84.4. Based on these results, it can be stated that there is a significant increase in the time management skills of students in class XI-4 at SMA Negeri 9 Semarang between the pre-cycle of action with cycle I or cycle II.

Abstract

The phenomenon of aggressive behavior still often occurs among teenagers and is included in discriminatory acts that are contrary to school and community norms. Aggressiveness can be manifested in the form of words or physical actions aimed at hurting other people. This research aims to find out how the use of the traditional bakiak panjang games reduces aggressive behavior in junior high school students. The research sample consisted of 12 students selected through a pretest using the purposive sampling method. Data was collected through a Likert scale questionnaire which measures students' level of aggressiveness. This questionnaire was distributed to class VII Babul Maghfirah students and the results were analyzed. The research results show that the calculated t value of 7.750 is higher than the t table value of 1.795, (7.750 > 1.795). This shows a decrease in the level of students' aggressive behavior. Therefore the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted while the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected. In conclusion, the implementation of the traditional bakiak panjang games can help reduce aggressive behavior in students. This research can be a reference for further research regarding the use of the bakiak panjang games as a medium to reduce students' aggressive behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the role of counseling in helping to solve various problems of students with specific learning difficulties in inclusive elementary schools. Specific learning difficulties are neurobiological disorders that cause children to have difficulties covering academic aspects such as reading, writing and counting skills. The research method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach. Based on the results of the research obtained data that children with specific learning difficulties consist of three types, namely (1) dyslexia, (2) dysgraphia, and (3) dyscalculia. The impact of specific learning difficulties is low academic scores, low self-esteem, decreased motivation to learn, and unstable emotions. So that counseling for children with specific learning difficulties is to help problems with some of the effects of these difficulties, with the aim that children are able to learn optimally at school. The counseling techniques used are cognitive group counseling, reality counseling, Individualized Education Program (IEP) counseling, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) counseling.

Abstract

This study aims to explore various methods used in the implementation of classical guidance services in the era of the independent curriculum. Through a literature review research method, we examined a number of research articles discussing practices and challenges in the implementation of classical guidance services. The research findings indicate that various methods such as Project Based Learning (PJBL), Problem Based Learning (PBL), Cooperative Learning, Experiential Learning, and Discovery Learning have been proven effective in enhancing various aspects of students' development. The research also identifies some challenges in the implementation of classical guidance services, including lack of communication between guidance counselors and homeroom teachers, resource limitations, and lack of understanding or confidence from guidance counselors regarding the methods to be applied. Thus, this research provides insights into various methods that can be used in the implementation of classical guidance services as well as the challenges that may be encountered in the implementation process. It is expected to contribute to the development of guidance and counseling practices in schools.

Abstract

English: The problem of student’s time management is still found to be the background for this research, This research aims to find out a picture of time management for class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Semarang. This research applies a quantitative approach and descriptive study methodology. The total sample for this research was 172 class VII students with the sample collection technique using simple random sampling techniques. The results of research and data analysis show that the time management of class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Semarang is on average in the medium category, 72 students (42.20%), there are students who have a high level of time management namely 40 students (21, 60%), and 60 students (36.20%) in the low management deficiency category. The findings of this study highlight the important role of guidance and counseling teachers in fostering positive behavior among students at school, which is crucial for the optimal development of their social skills and the improvement of their time management abilities. Indonesia: Masih ditemukan masalah manajemen waktu peserta didik jadi latar belakang dari penelitian ini, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran manajemen waktu pada peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Semarang. Penelitian ini menerapkan pendekatan kuantitatif dan metodologi studi deskriptif. Jumlah sampel penelitian ini ialah 172 siswa kelas VII dengan teknik penghimpunan sampel menerapkan teknik simple random sampling. Hasil penelitian dan analisis data menunjukkan manajemen waktu peserta didik kelas VII di SMP Negeri 2 Semarang rata-rata berada di kategori sedang 72 peserta didik (42,20%), ada peserta didik yang mempunyai taraf manajemen waktu tinggi sejumlah 40 peserta didik (21,60%), dan 60 peserta didik (36,20%) dengan kategori rendah manajemen waktunya. Hasil penelitian ini dapat memberikan peran guru BK dalam mengembangkan perilaku yang baik pada peserta didik di sekolah agar proses perkembangan sosial peserta didik dapat berkembang dengan optimal, agar peserta didik memiliki keterampilan manajemen waktu yang baik.

Abstract

English: This research aims to find out the role of guidance and counseling teachers in increasing student discipline in the teaching and learning process at Semarang Pharmacy Vocational School. This type of research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. Then the data analysis technique used is data reduction to require depth of insight. After that, the data is described or called data presentation. Next, the data is processed properly so that researchers can draw conclusions. The subjects in this research were 33 students in class X Hospitality at the Semarang Pharmacy Foundation Vocational School. The technique for testing the validity of the data in this research uses triangulation by asking the same thing from different sources. The results of this research conclude that the role of guidance and counseling teachers is very important for students in improving discipline. This is in line with the function of guidance and counseling, namely helping students to develop optimally in accordance with developments and demands that occur in the environment. Suggestions that researches can convey. Indonesia: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran Guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam meningkatkan kedisilinan siswa dalam proses belajar mengajar di SMK Pharmasi Semarang. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Kemudian teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data untuk memerlukan kedalaman wawasan. Setelah itu, data tersebut diuraikan atau disebut penyajian data. Selanjutnya data tersebut diolah dengan baik agar peneliti dapat menarik kesimpulan. Subjek dalam peenelitian ini adalah 33 siswa di kelas X Perhotelan SMK yayasan Pharmasi Semarang. Teknik uji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan triangulasi dengan menanyakan hal yang sama dengan sumber yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Peran Guru bimbingan dan konseling sangat penting bagi siswa dalam meningkatkan kedisilinan. Hal ini senada dengan fungsi bimbingan dan konseling yaitu membantu peserta didik agar dapat berkembang secara optimal sesuai dengan perkembangan dan tuntutan yang terjadi di lingkungan. Saran yang dapat peneliti sampaikan.

Abstract

English: The aim of this research is to explore the dynamics of countertransference in guidance and counseling teachers when carrying out counseling and also to determine the causal factors and impacts of countertransference on the lives of guidance and counseling teachers. The research methods used are qualitative and quantitative description methods with data collection taken from distributing questionnaires to 33 guidance and counseling teachers spread across 27 high schools (SMA), as well as from the results of in-depth interviews with 4 guidance and counseling teachers. The research results show that countertransference dynamics do not strongly influence the lives of guidance and counseling teachers. Guidance and Guidance Teachers continue to work professionally in accordance with the code of ethics and carry out the guidance service process objectively. This research provides valuable insight into guidance and counseling teachers and students in relation to understanding the countertransference attitudes experienced by guidance and counseling teachers so that both can understand each other to achieve the final goal that will be mutually agreed upon.  Indonesia: Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengeksplorasi dinamika countertransference pada guru bimbingan dan konseling saat melaksanakan konseling dan juga untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor penyebab serta dampak countertransference terhadap kehidupan guru bimbingan dan konseling. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskripsi kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data diambil dari penyebaran angket kepada 33 guru bimbingan dan konseling yang tersebar di 27 Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA), serta dari hasil wawancara mendalam kepada 4 guru bimbingan dan konseling. Hasil penelitian, menunjukkan bahwa dinamika countertransference tidak secara kuat mempengaruhi kehidupan guru bimbingan dan konseling. Guru bimbingan dan konseling tetap bekerja profesional sesuai dengan kode etik dan melakukan proses layanan bimbingan secara objektif. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan yang berharga terhadap guru bimbingan dan konseling dan siswa dalam kaitannya memahami sikap countertransference yang dialami guru bimbingan dan konseling sehingga keduanya dapat memahami satu sama lain untuk mencapai tujuan akhir yang akan disepakati bersama.

Abstract

English: The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the application of group counseling models with REBT methods of Cognitive Dispute techniques to reduce students' online game addiction behavior. The research approach used pre-experiment (Pre-test Post-test Design). This research was conducted at Satya Wacana Salatiga Christian Junior High School in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research sample amounted to 6 students who had a problem, namely online game addiction. Data collection was carried out from the results of the pre-test and post-test in the form of questioners. Data analysis using non-parametric statistical testing. The results showed that this intervention was effective in reducing the level of online game addiction. Before the intervention, the majority of students were in the high or very high addiction category, but after counseling, the majority of students switched to the low and very low categories Indonesia: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektifitas Penerapan model konseling kelompok dengan metode REBT teknik Dispute Kognitif untuk mengurangi perilaku kecanduan game online peserta didik. Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan pre-eksperimen (Pre-test Post-test Design). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Kristen Satya Wacana Salatiga pada semester genap tahun Pelajaran 2023/2024. Sample penelitian berjumlah 6 peserta didik yang memiliki permasalahan yaitu kecanduan game online. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dari hasil pre-test dan post-test berupa questioner. Analisis data menggunakan pengujian statistik non parametrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi ini efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat kecanduan game online. Sebelum intervensi, mayoritas siswa berada dalam kategori kecanduan tinggi atau sangat tinggi, namun setelah diberikan konseling, mayoritas siswa beralih ke kategori rendah dan sangat rendah.

Abstract

English: This study aims to determine the role of counseling teachers on the social interaction of children with Down syndrome at school. The subjects of this study consisted of one counseling teacher, two homeroom teachers, and two parents. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection used observation, interviews, and documentation studies. Data were analyzed using triangulation of coding techniques. The results showed that there are 12 roles of counseling teachers on their social interactions, including 8 roles that often appear are the roles of consultant, transmitter, initiator, counselor, mediator, motivator, director, and informator. 5 other roles that rarely appear are the roles of coordinator, facilitator, organizer, and evaluator. Down syndrome children can interact at school if there is a stimulus from the discipline. Indonesia: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru BK terhadap interaksi sosial siswa down syndrome di sekolah. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari satu guru BK, dua guru kelas tunagrahita, dan dua orang tua siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Data dianalisis menggunakan triangulasi teknik koding. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa ada 12 peran guru BK terhadap interaksi sosial mereka diantaranya 8 peran yang sering muncul adalah peran sebagai konsultan, transmitter, inisiator, konselor, mediator, motivator, director, dan informator. 5 peran lainnya yang jarang muncul yaitu peran sebagai koordinator, fasilitator, organisator, dan evaluator. Siswa down syndrome dapat berinteraksi di sekolah apabila adanya stimulus dari disiplin ilmu.

Abstract

English: This research aims to develop and test the feasibility of the Google Sites-based "Friends Story" media for Ar-Raniry State Islamic University College Students.  The research method used is Research and Development  (R & D). This research uses the Thiagarajan, Dorothy Semmel, and Melvyn Semmel models. Research and development stages include (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, and (4) dissemination. The subjects of this research were College Students at Ar-Raniry State Islamic University with a sample of 6 respondents. The research instrument used was an expert validation sheet with qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The research results show that the average score from material experts is 88.2% and the average score from media experts is 87.5%. Meanwhile, the average value of lecturer responses via questionnaire was 93.3% and the average College Student response was 87%. From these results, it can be concluded that the development of Google Sites-based “story-friend” media is in the “Very Feasible” category and can be used. Indonesia: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan  dan menguji kelayakan media “Teman bercerita” berbasis Google Sites mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Ar – Raniry .  Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Thiagarajan, Dorothy Semmel, dan Melvyn Semmel. Tahapan penelitian dan pengembangan meliputi (1) define, (2) design, (3) develop, dan (4) dissemination. Subyek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Islam Negeri Ar – Raniry dengan sampel berjumlah 6 responden. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi ahli dengan teknik analisis data deskripsi kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai rata-rata dari ahli materi sebesar 88,2% dan nilai rerata dari ahli media adalah 87,5%. Sementara itu, nilai rata-rata dari respon dosen melalui angket adalah 93,3% dan rerata respon mahasiswa sebesar 87%. Dari hasil ini bisa disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan media “Friend Story ” berbasis Google Sites masuk dalam kategori “Sangat Layak” dan dapat digunakan.
