Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengekplor etnomatematik dalam merancang kebaya dilihat dari filosofi dan  manfaat pelajaran matematika. Pendekatan menggunakan etnografi. Pelaku dalam penelitian ini bertempat di Bonokeling Desa Pakuncen Kecamatan Jatilawang. Aktivitas dalam kegiatan ini pengamatan dan penelitian terhadap etnomatematik dalam filosofi dan merancang kebaya. Pengumpulan data dengan cara wawancara ke informan. Hasil penelitian dilapangan dan wawancara dalam merancang kebaya tidak terlepas dari filosofi karena dalam merancang kebaya tidak terlepas dari pola yang dibuat secara dibuat manual (dengan tangan) dan diukur (dijahit), tapi sekarang kebanyakan dengan mesin jahit. Kebaya yang dikenakan para ibu-ibu di Bonokeling sudah menjadi tradisi dipakai dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, ketika ada orang yang meninggal dan acara-acara keagamaan atau ritual-ritual tertentu. Manfaat pelajaran matematika sangat penting kaitannya dengan pola bilangan, geometri dan skala.The purpose of this research is to exploring ethnomatematics in designing kebaya as seen from philosophy and the benefits of mathematics lessons. Approach to using ethnography. The actors in this study were housed in Bonokeling, Pakuncen Village, Jatilawang District. Activities in this activity are observations and research on ethnomatematics in the philosophy and design of kebaya. Data collection by interviewing informants. The results of field research and interviews in designing kebaya are inseparable from philosophy because in designing kebaya is inseparable from patterns that are made manually (by hand) and measured (sewn), but now mostly with sewing machines. Kebaya worn by the mothers in Bonokeling has become a tradition used in everyday life, when there are people who die and certain religious events or rituals. The benefits of mathematics are very important because they are learned in vocational high schools, which have to do with mathematics about number patterns and scale.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze mathematical representation ability of vocational school students in solv mathematical problems of arithmetic series and arithmetic sequence. This is a descriftive research with qualitative approach. Subject of research is student of SMK Negeri 1 Rengasdengklok on class XII TMI 1 selected by purpose sampling. The data anlyzed by using term of data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: (1) mathematical representation ability of indicator visual representation capability of 61,07%. (2) mathematical representation ability of indicator symbolic representation capability of 75%. (3) mathematical representation ability of indicator verbal representation capability of 51,07%. The highest indicator of mathematical representation ability is symbolic representation, and the lowest indicator of mathematical representation ability is verbal representation. Overall percentage of mathematical representation ability is capability of 62,5%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami siswa dalam menyelesaikan operasi aritmatika pecahan dan faktor-faktor penyebab kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dari siswa dalam kategori tinggi, siswa dalam kategori sedang, dan siswa dalam kategori rendah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV-B kelas 15 SD Negeri Muara Bakti 03 Semester Genap Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Teknik penelitian yang digunakan adalah teknik purposive sampling untuk pengambilan subjek dalam penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan instrumen pertanyaan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. untuk analisis data kualitatif menggunakan teknik analisis data yaitu mengelompokkan hasil yang diperoleh dari instrumen tes yang diberikan peneliti dengan materi operasi hitung pecahan, ada kategori siswa yang memiliki hasil instrumen tes rendah, sedang, dan tinggi. Dalam hal ini siswa kategori rendah, sedang, dan tinggi mengalami kesulitan yang sama mengenai operasi pecahan dengan penyebut yang berbeda, faktornya adalah siswa masih belum memahami konsep dasar materi pecahan.

Abstract

ABSTRACTInterest and motivation in learning are factors that greatly influence learning outcomes. This study aims to analyze the effect of Youtube videos on students’ interest and motivation in learning Mathematics at the State Islamic University of Prof. K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri Purwokerto by applying Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method. The variables used in this study are latent variables with the number of samples amounting to 160 samples. The analysis was carried out using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The findings revealed that Youtube videos had a significant direct positive effect on the students’ learning interest (p value = 0.000 0.05) with a path coefficient of 0.415, Youtube videos also had a significant direct positive effect on the students’ learning motivation (p value = 0.000 0.05) with a path coefficient of 0.260. The learning interest, on the other hand, had a significant direct positive effect on the students’ learning motivation (p value = 0.000 0.05) with a path coefficient of 0.529. Youtube videos had a significant indirect positive effect - through learning interest - on the students’ learning motivation (p value = 0.000 0.05) with a path coefficient of 0.220. Furthermore, the results showed that the total effect of YouTube videos on the students’ learning motivation is significant (p value = 0.000 0.05) with a path coefficient of 0.480. The effect of Youtube videos on the students’ learning interest is 16.7%, the remaining percentage is influenced by other variables. The effect of Youtube videos and learning interest on the students’ learning motivation is 45.5%, the rest is influenced by other variables. The YouTube videos were able to predict the students’ learning interest of 0.093 with low criteria whereas the YouTube videos and the learning interest were able to predict their learning motivation of 0.327 with moderate criteria. In general, this study shows that YouTube videos had a significant positive effect on the students’ learning interest and motivation in online mathematics learning.Keywords: Structural Equation Modeling; YouTube; Learning Interest; Learning Motivation ABSTRAKMinat dan motivasi belajar merupakan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan YouTube terhadap minat dan motivasi belajar matematika mahasiswa Program Studi Tadris Matematika Universitas Prof. K.H. Selanjutnya, dapat diketahui pula bahwa pengaruh total penggunaan YouTube terhadap motivasi belajar signifikan (p value=0.000 0.05) dimana koefisien jalur sebesar 0.480. Pengaruh penggunaan Youtube terhadap minat belajar adalah sebesar 16.7%, sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain dan pengaruh penggunaan Youtube dan minat belajar terhadap motivasi belajar adalah sebesar 45.5% dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Penggunaan YouTube mampu memprediksi minat belajar sebesar 0.093 dengan kriteria rendah dan penggunaan YouTube dan minat belajar mampu memprediksi motivasi belajar sebesar 0.327 dengan kriteria sedang. Secara umum, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan YouTube akan berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap minat dan motivasi peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran matematika secara daring.Kata Kunci: Structural Equation Modeling; Penggunaan YouTube; Minat Belajar; Motivasi Belajar

Abstract

This study aims to develop and determine the feasibility, response of students, and the effectiveness of STEM-based digital pocket book on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts in algebraic and PLSV forms of material. The subjects of this study were students of class VII SMP/MTs. This type of research is Research and Development (RD) using the ADDIE model which includes 5 stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The data collection instrument in this study was a validation questionnaire given to expert validators and a student response questionnaire. The results of the validation data analysis from the material expert and media expert were respectively found to have a mean value of 3.87 and 3.54 so that the digital pocket book was declared in the suitable category. The results of the analysis of the attractiveness response test data obtained a mean final score of 3.43 for small group trials and 3.6 for large group trials so that the digital pocket book developed was very interesting to use. The test of the effectiveness of STEM-based digital pocket books on students' ability to understand mathematical concepts could not be carried out because of limitations due to the COVID-19 pandemic which also had an impact on the learning process in schools. Therefore, this research and development is only carried out until the development stage.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to make LKPD based on TPS cooperative model in order to increase student mathematics learning activities. This study applies the plomp development model with data collection techniques in the form of observation guides, questionnaires, and tests. The subjects are students in class IX from MAN 1 Makassar. From the development activities, the results stated that was made could increase the learning activities of students which were strengthened by the fulfillment of 5 points from 6 predetermined ideal criteria, and the fulfillment of points 3-6 which were the essence of learning. This LKPD has also fulfilled the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of a product made, namely the acquisition of the validity category is very valid, the practicality category is positive, and the effectiveness category is very positive.

Abstract

Mathematical literacy is an important ability to be mastered, but the facts on the results of the PISA survey that Indonesia participated in showed the results of the low mathematical literacy ability of Indonesian students. To overcome the low literacy skills of students, it is necessary to know what students' errors are in solving mathematical literacy problems. This study aims to analyze the errors of junior high school students in solving mathematical literacy problems. The research used descriptive qualitative research methods. This research was conducted in 2 junior high schools in Tasikmalaya City which consisted of 1 middle level school and 1 high level school. The data in this study were obtained using a mathematical literacy test instrument on the SPLDV material given to 8th grade students. Error descriptions were obtained from analyzing the results of students' work in completing 6 levels of mathematical literacy problem. From the results of the analysis obtained problems that refer to level 1, students experience errors in building mathematical models. At level 2, students are wrong in determining the right mathematical concept to look for a number pattern that matches the given problem conditions. Problems at level 3, students are less skilled in modifying mathematical equations and do not fully understand the information presented in the questions. Problems at level 4, students find it difficult to make relevant assumptions in solving problems. At level 5 and 6 problems students are still not able to interpret every detail of information correctly and the use of mathematical concepts that are less relevant to the core of the problem.Keywords: Student error, Mathematical Literacy, SPLDV

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Produk Instrumen Tes untuk mengukur Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) berorientasi Programme for International Student Assesment (PISA) pada Peserta Didik yang berkategori layak digunakan. Produk yang dihasilkan meliputi dimensi kognitif, yakni instrumen tes essai berupa butir soal HOTS berorientasi PISA yang mencakup C4, C5, dan C6 dalam taxonomi Anderson dan Kartwohl dan dimensi afektif dan psikomotor berupa kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (RD) menggunakan langkah pengembangan dari ADDIE  yang dikembangkan oleh Dick dan Carry (1996) yang diadopsi oleh Mulyatiningsih yang mencakup 5 langkah, yakni Analisis, Desain Pengembangan, Pelaksanaan Pengembangan, Penerapan dan Evaluasi . Berdasarkan hasil validasi produk oleh ahli, dihasilkan instrumen tes untuk mengukur Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) berorientasi Programme for International Student Assesment (PISA) pada Peserta Didik. Prosedur penggunaan instrumen tes dikatakan mudah dan baik berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh praktisi dan hasil uji coba perorangan, dampak dari penggunaan instrumen tes ini dapat membuat peserta didik menjadi lebih berwawasan luas serta meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif. Kata Kunci: Research and Development (RD); instrumen tes; Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS); Programme for International Student Assesment (PISA).

Abstract

This study aims to produce a realistic e-module based on quality Sigil software that can be seen in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research is a research and development, while the development model used is ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The instrument that will be used in this study are validation sheets, questionnaire student responses sheets, and test question. Data obtained from the study were then analyzed in terms of feasibility. The eligibility module, is allowed to be valid, effective and practical. In terms of  validity, the average score given by media experts was 3,41 with the criteria “valid” while the realistic experts gave an average score of 3,00 with the criteria “valid”, and the material expert gave an average score for the learning scheme of e,69 with “valid” criteria. Based on practicality, the score given by students gets an average score of 83% with the criteria “very practical”. The effectiveness of the product can be seen from the percentage of completeness of the test scores that is obtained by 90% of all test subjects.Keywords:    E-modules; Realistic Mathematics Education (RME); Circle; Sigil

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kebutuhan dan perilaku Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (Tunarungu dan Wicara) dalam pembelajaran matematika dasar di Sekolah Khusus (SKh) se-Kabupaten Pandeglang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskrtiptif. Subjek sebanyak 6 anak  tunarungu wicara, dipilih secara random sampling dari 29 anak tunarungu wicara . Objek penelitian ini adalah kebutuhan dan perilaku Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus (Tunarungu dan wicara) dalam pembelajaran matematika dasar di Sekolah Khusus (SKh) se-Kabupaten Pandeglang. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan melihat kebutuhan dan perilaku anak tunarungu dan wicara dalam pembelajaran matematika dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kebutuhan anak tunarungu dan wicara adalah media pembelajaran, alat peraga matematika, perbendaharaan kata (kosa kata), dan pemahaman materi yang baik. Perilaku anak tunarungu dan wicara yaitu mereka menyukai pelajaran matematika dasar tergantung pada mudah atau tidak mudahnya materi. Apabila materi mudah, anak tunarungu wicara sangat antusias dalam belajar dan sebaliknya. Anak tunarungu wicara dapat berkonsetrasi dengan baik di kelas pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran matematika dasar. Anak tunarungu dapat memahami materi matematika dengan baik. Anak tunarungu wicara memiliki harga diri yang tinggi, disiplin, jiwa kompetisi, dan dapat menerima kekalahan.  Rata-rata anak tunarungu wicara senang dalam pembelajaran matematika dasar.   Kata Kunci: Tunarungu-wicara; Perilaku;  Kebutuhan;  Matematika Dasar
