Abstract

This research aims to identify the pattern of language shift in Tetun Fehan language and the influencing factors in the speech community in Belu, RI - RDTL border area. This research uses a sociolinguistic approach by applying a qualitative descriptive method. The research subjects were 37 head of families which include 110 speakers of Tetun Fehan language. The process of collecting data through observation and interviews. The collected data is then processed in three stages, namely classification, interpretation and data analysis which is displayed in the form of descriptive narrative. The results indicates there is a language shift in the family realm with the pattern of communication relationships between husband to wife, wife to husband, parent to children and children to parent. The factors that influence the language shift come from internal factor, includes (1) the lack of use of the Tetun Fehan language (2) the reluctance to use the language (3) the lack of socialization in the family and (4) interaction with surrounding, and external factors includes (1) education factor (2) migration factor).Keywords: Tetun Fehan language, language shift, speech community, border area

Abstract

This study aims to explain the form of code switching and code switching contained in Lapor Pak broadcasts on the Trans7 Lifestyle Youtube Channel. The research approach a qualitative descriptive in the form of a description of the data obtained in the analysis. The data used is through the form of speech, sentences and paragraphs. Then the method used is a qualitative method. The data source for this research is the Youtube Lapor Pak program entitled Secret Mission to America which was published on December 14, 2021 with a duration of 48:07 minutes. The data collection technique used by the author in this study is through the listening technique and the note-taking techniques. The type of instrument used is in the form of non-participant observation, namely the author observes YouTube videos from start to finish. The results obtained in this study are the forms of code switching and the role of code switching contained in the Lapor Pak show on the Trans7 Lifestyle Youtube Channel. The forms of code switching obtained include; internal code switching from Indonesian to Javanese, then from Javanese to Indonesian. Then the external code switching switches from Indonesian to English and from English to Indonesian. While the role of code switching is as humor through the theory of Incongruity, Superiority, and Liberation theory.Keywords: Forms of code switching, Role of code switching, and Youtube.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information about the understanding of junior high school teachers and MTs in the city of Bima towards learning text-based Indonesian. This type of research is a descriptive study using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The targets in this study are Indonesian of junior high school and MTs language teachers in the city of Bima. The method used in the process of collecting data in this research is the listening method and proficient method. While the method used in data analysis is the intralingual equivalent method of HBB, HBS, and HBSP techniques. Based on the analysis results obtained that the understanding of Indonesian of junior high school and MTs in the city of Mataram towards learning Indonesian based on text categorized less fortunate. The understanding of junior high school teachers and MTs Indonesian language teachers in Bima on text-based Indonesian language learning is able to understand the types of texts based on their genre, because all respondents are able to describe their understanding in the text itself. From the point of view of the understanding of Indonesian of junior high school and MTs language teachers in the city of Bima on learning text-based Indonesian language is able to understand the structure of the text based on its genre, because all respondents were able to describe their understanding in the text based on the genre. The understanding of junior high school and MTs Indonesian language teachers in Bima on learning text-based Indonesian is less able to understand the use of linguistic tools in the text, because most respondents are less able to describe their understanding in text based on their genre. And finally, the understanding of  junior high school and MTs Indonesian language teachers in Bima on learning text-based Indonesian in Bima City is able to understand the social objectives in the text, because all respondents are able to describe their understanding in text based on their genre.Keywords: Teacher Understanding, Indonesian Language Learning, Text.

Abstract

This article aims to: (1) describe the grammatical cohesion in the novel Layangan Putus by Mommy ASF, (2) describe the lexical cohesion in the novel Layangan Putus by Mommy ASF, and (3) knowing the comparison of the use of grammatical cohesion with lexical cohesion contained in the novel Layangan Putus by Mommy ASF. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques in this study have two techniques, namely reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The data analysis technique used the agih method. The data source of this research is the novel Layangan Putus by Mommy ASF. The results and discussion show that the novel Layangan Putus by Mommy ASF found grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion. The total grammatical cohesion and lexical cohesion found were 46. The grammatical cohesion found in Mommy ASF's Layangan Putus novel was 22. The number was divided into four types of grammatical cohesion markers, namely 7 (32%), 6 substitutions (27.5%), conjunctions were 6 (27.5%), and ellipsis were 3 (6%). The markers of lexical cohesion, namely synonyms as many as 9 (37.5%), as many as 8 repetitions (33.4%), antonymy is 4 (16.6%), and hyponymy is 3 (12.5%) so that the total lexical cohesion found is 24.Keywords: cohesion, discourse, grammatical, lexical, novel

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the Indonesian spelling and conjunctions contained on Ivan Lanin's Instagram social media account which will later be used as learning resources for seventh grade junior high school students. This research is a research using descriptive method. The data source of this study was obtained from Ivan Lanin's Instagram social media account in the form of Indonesian spelling and conjunctions. Data collection techniques used listening and note-taking techniques. The data validation technique uses data triangulation. Data analysis shows that social media accounts, especially Instagram, have benefits as learning resources that can be applied in learning or in teaching and learning activities. Forms of using Instagram social media accounts as learning resources include supporting learning activities, the internet as a source of information. The results showed that there was an explanation of the Indonesian spelling and conjunctions contained in Ivan Lanin's Instagram account. The types of spelling found on Ivan Lanin's Instagram are the use of letters, writing words, and the use of punctuation. The spelling on Ivan Lanin's Instagram is in line with the material for personal letters and official letters in KD 4.12. In addition, there is an explanation of conjunctions on Ivan Lanin's Instagram account which can then be a source of learning on narrative text material in KD 4.4.Keywords: Social Media, Instagram, Spelling, Conjunction

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop language learning media based on organic waste as an introduction to ecoliteracy for elementary school. This study uses a development research method that refers to the Borg and Gall development model. Data collection methods in this study were questionnaires and observations. Data analysis in this research is descriptive quantitative with categorization technique. Based on the results of the study, it showed that the final product of learning media development based on organic waste at SDN 3 Kabar after going through a series of development procedures, was feasible to be implemented. Based on the results of product trials that have been carried out, there are significant changes between the pretest and posttest on students' understanding of Ecoliteracy. The indicator “merasa dini bagian dari alam” when the pretest percentage of students who are able to understand is 29.6% and when the posttest is 63.0%. The percentage of indicator “mampu mendeskripsikan pengertian dan jenis sampah” from 14.8% become 63.0%. The last indicator is ”mampu mendeskripsikan dampak negative sampah” from a percentage of 0% increasing to 29.6%. This shows that the introduction of ecoliteracy through developing language learning media based on organic waste to students at SDN 3 Kabar was successful.Keyword: Language Learning Media Development, Organic Waste, Ecoliteracy

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan kritik sastra psikologi dalam mengungkapkan kecenderungan untuk aktualisasi, pengembangan diri manusia dewasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teknik analisi isi. Pendekatan yang digunakan teori kritik sastra psikologi Carl Rogers. Analisis data dilakukan dengan mencatat kutipan dalam novel Relung Rasa Raisa yang mengandung kritik psikologi sastra, mengumpulkan data berdasarkan instrument penelitian yang telah ditemukan ke dalam tabel data dan terakhir menganalisis data yang sudah dipilah berdasarkan teori Carl Rogers. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu analisis kejiwaan pada novel Relung Rasa Raisa karya Lea Agustina Citra meliputi; (1) konsep aktualisasi diri berupa mewujudkan cita-cita tokoh (2) pengembangan konsep diri berupa tokoh mampu menerima kondisi yang terjadi (3) Konsep manusia dewasa pada novel ini yaitu Raisa dapat menjalani kehidupan dan memanfaatkan peluang yang ada dengan tekad kuat. Adapun kritik terhadap novel Relung Rasa Raisa yaitu terdapat pada kecenderungan untuk mengaktualisasi tokoh Raisa yang sudah tidak mempelajari bahasa Jerman karena kecewa atas diri sendiri. Lalu pengembangan konsep diri pada Raisa yang mudah berbohong karena terdapat pengaruh dari orang tua. Manusia dewasa pada novel ini terdapat penilaian pada tokoh Raisa yang tidak mampu mengelola emosi dengan cara mengepalkan tangan dan labil dalam berprinsip.Kata Kunci: Kritik Sastra, Novel Relung Rasa Raisa, Psikologi Sastra

Abstract

Nilai karakter dalam lirik lagu anak di taman kanak-anak masih belum banyak diketahui. Dari penelitian ini, lirik lagu anak yang dikumpulkan akan dianalisis satu-persatu. Hal tersebut bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai karakter apa saja yang terkandung di setiap lirik lagu anak di taman kanak-anak. Lagu anak memiliki peran penting sebagai media pembelajaran dalam proses pembentukan nilai karakter bagi anak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik analisis isi. Data penelitian ini bersumber pada lirik lagu anak dari empat lokasi taman kanak-anak (PAUD). Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan proses observasi langsung ke empat lokasi taman kanak-anak secara acak. Setelah melalui proses analisis, penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan yang berupa 48 lagu anak dan dikelompokkan menjadi 31 lagu yang mengandung 5 nilai-nilai karakter utama sebagai pada liriknya, sebagai berikut: 16 lagu yang mengandung nilai karakter religiositas, 7 lagu yang mengandung nilai karakter nasionalis, 5 lagu yang mengandung nilai karakter kemandirian, 1 lagu yang mengandung nilai karakter gotong royong, dan 2 lagu yang mengandung nilai karakter integritas. Hasil akhir dalam penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa lirik lagu anak di taman kanak-anak mengandung nilai karakter yang penting bagi perkembangan karakter pada anak di sekolah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap representasi idiologi Kalis Mardiasih dalam berita kekerasan seksual dan melihat wacana seksualitas dicanangkan. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu 18 postingan berita kekerasan seksual dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Menggunakan analisis wacana Sara Mills untuk mengungkap posisi subjek-objek dan posisi pembaca. Hasil yang diperoleh dari kajian ini menunjukan bahwa mayoritas subjek pada berita dipengaruhi oleh pihak laki-laki selaku pelaku dan pihak kepolisian, sedangkan perempuan korban kekerasan dijadikan objek dalam berita, baik perempuan dewasa maupun anak-anak. Dalam representasi idiologi berita kekerasan seksual, Kalis Mardiasih menggunakan perspektif perempuan yang menjadikan pembaca melihat dari sudut pandang korban, dari kekhawatiran, rasa cemas, bahkan tekanan psikologis.Representasi, kekerasan seksual, wacana Sara Mills, Instagram.

Abstract

Pemakaian partikel dalam bahasa Gayo dihasilkan secara unik dalam percakapan sehari-hari.  Akan tetapi, peran dan fungsi yang melekat dalam penggunaan partikel kadang-kadang tidak disadari oleh penutur. Untuk itu, tujuan penelitian ini mendeskripsikan bentuk, peran, dan fungsi partikel dalam bahasa Gayo pada masyarakat Bebesen. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik simak bebas libat cakap. Analisis data digunakan dengan padan referensial dan metode agih dengan teknik ekspansi. Hasil yang diperoleh dari analisis data menunjukkan bahwa bentuk-bentuk partikel meliputi di, gə, he, kə, kəta, lə, dan mi. Peran dalam penggunaan partikel memberikan makna tambahan dan penegasan dengan mengacu pada unsur-unsur bahasa Gayo seperti adjektiva, demostrativa, dan kata tanya. Kehadiran penggunaan partikel dalam konteks kalimat bahasa Gayo menandai fungsi emotif ketidaknyamanan, kekaguman, kerasahan, kejutan, keheranan, dan keinginan untuk bertindak.Kata Kunci: Partikel, Bentuk, Peran, Fungsi, Bahasa Gayo.
