Abstract

The Undangan.apk application on the Android platform has been subjected to in-depth analysis to evaluate the potential security threats it poses. Through a series of analysis methods, including Qu1cksc0pe, dynamic analysis, reverse engineering, and analysis using the D4I Framework, we were able to uncover that this application harbors serious potential in stealing user data and accessing sensitive information. Qu1cksc0pe provided insights into the application's characteristics and permissions granted, while dynamic analysis highlighted the application's communication with an external server via the Telegram bot API. Reverse engineering analysis confirmed the application's intention to steal SMS OTPs and transmit them to a specific server. The D4I Framework identified the sequence of events and relationships between artifacts in the attack, providing deeper insight into the workings and progression of the attack. Thus, the Undangan.apk application poses a significant threat that necessitates appropriate security response actions to protect users from associated security risks.

Abstract

Technological advancements in Indonesia bring benefits, but also trigger cyberbullying, which negatively impacts the mental, emotional, and social health of young people. This study aims to design an effective public service announcement (PSA) to raise public awareness and educate the public about the dangers of cyberbullying. Design thinking methods were used in this design process, through the stages of empathy, definition, ideation, prototyping, and testing. The result of this study is a public service announcement video that presents a narrative of the experiences of cyberbullying victims, a moral message, and solutions to overcome this problem. The video was uploaded to a digital platform to test its effectiveness through audience feedback. With a creative visual approach and relevant message, this PSA was able to raise public awareness and encourage behavioral changes to create a safer digital environment. The study recommends further development through cross-sector collaboration and ongoing education to maximize its impact.

Abstract

 In modern computing systems, caching is an essential technique for improving data access efficiency. However, traditional caching algorithms such as LRU and LFU have limitations in handling complex data dynamics. This research proposes an adaptive caching algorithm that integrates semantic context and access time profiles to enhance system performance. The approach utilizes a semantic embedding model based on Sentence-BERT and temporal analysis of user access patterns. Testing was conducted through simulations using real and synthetic datasets, and compared with conventional caching methods such as KVShare and LRU. Evaluation results show that the proposed algorithm is capable of increasing the cache hit rate by more than 83%, reducing average latency to around 61 ms, and maintaining resource usage efficiency. In addition, the algorithm demonstrates strong adaptability to dynamic access pattern changes and responsiveness to semantic parameter adjustments. Thus, the integration of semantic context and temporal information provides significant contributions to optimizing cache management. This algorithm has potential applications in edge computing systems, LLM services, and cloud-based platforms. Suggestions for future research include implementation in real-world environments, application of predictive machine learning models, and dynamic exploration of adaptive parameters.

Abstract

Advertising through brand identity is essential for improving the performance of educational institutions (schools) by fostering a strong image through unique, relevant messages tailored to the target audience. This study aims to analyse Telkom School’s brand identity using Kapferer’s Brand Identity Prism Model. The research explores how Telkom School constructs its brand identity through six key facets: physique, personality, culture, relationship, reflection, and self-image. The importance of this study lies in understanding how a strong brand identity can influence stakeholder perceptions and loyalty, particularly within the educational sector. Qualitative descriptive methods were employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis from relevant sources. Data from interviews, observations, and documentation were then analysed interpretively using content and thematic analysis. The findings reveal that Telkom School effectively integrates its corporate values and educational mission into its brand identity, creating a distinctive image that resonates with students, parents, and the community. The study concludes that applying Kapferer’s model provides a comprehensive framework for developing and evaluating brand identity strategies. It can reference other educational institutions to strengthen its brand positioning.

Abstract

Airport information facilities are crucial in supporting operational activities and services, one of which is signage. This study specifically examines the implementation of signage at the departure terminal of Fatmawati Soekarno Airport in Bengkulu, namely operational signage, public facilities, and concession signage. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that three points of signage at the departure terminal do not meet standards in terms of size, color, and direction of the signs used. As a result, passengers experience confusion and even difficulty in finding locations/facilities in the departure terminal area. This study contributes to evaluating the implementation of signage at the departure terminal, while also providing an integrated service solution in the form of a digital map to improve the effectiveness of information at Fatmawati Soekarno Airport in Bengkulu.

Abstract

In the Design Psychology course, the application of Don Norman’s Emotional Design theory by students is often limited to visual or visceral aspects, while the behavioral and reflective levels remain underdeveloped. This study aims to examine the implementation of Emotional Design in interdisciplinary student projects and to identify the challenges emerging within collaborative learning contexts. A qualitative case study approach was employed, based on the observation and analysis of design works produced by three interdisciplinary student groups in the Design Psychology course at Sekolah Tinggi Desain Indonesia. The findings indicate that students’ works tend to emphasize visceral and behavioral aspects, whereas the reflective level appears in a limited and symbolic manner, influenced by disciplinary backgrounds and group dynamics. Based on these findings, this study proposes a sprint-based pedagogical model that integrates visceral, behavioral, and reflective stages progressively within a single-semester learning cycle. The proposed model is intended to provide a more structured space for reflection and to support the development of collective emotional meaning in interdisciplinary Emotional Design education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application and relationship between the heuristic principles of 2 – 4 year old children and the Golden Rules of User Interface Design in the interface design of Timpy Doctor Games for Kids, focusing on the evaluation of navigation, icon clarity, visual instructions, and button interaction. This study used a heuristic evaluation approach and usability testing with five children aged 2 – 4 years, using direct observation, video recording, and field notes. The assessment was conducted using an instrument consisting of 79 game actions, 7 indicators, and scores of 1-5, and was analyzed descriptively by calculating the average value. The scope of the study was limited to one sub-game, namely tartar cleaning. The results showed that both design principles were consistently applied, as seen from the average interaction success rate of 4.94 and usability level of 4.57. Children were able to recognize icons, understand animation-based instructions, and complete most of the game actions. However, some issues were found, particularly in tasks requiring more complex fine motor coordination, such as connecting borders (2/5), administering drops (4/5), and grouping colors (4/5), as well as inconsistencies in instructions between tasks. The novelty of this study lies in the combination of two evaluation frameworks—child heuristics and the Golden Rules of User Interface Design—to analyze the UI of early childhood educational games, and its application to the previously unstudied Timpy Doctor Games for Kids game. These findings offer practical implications for game developers and child UX researchers in designing clearer, more consistent, and developmentally appropriate instructions for children. Further research could include expanding the number of participants, testing new game versions, and integrating other UX theories for more in-depth analysis.

Abstract

This study examines the visual communication strategy of Museum Radya Pustaka Surakarta in the digital era, focusing on the consistency of blue as the main brand tone element on the museum’s official Instagram account. The research employs a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis of three selected posts that represent persuasive elements, interactivity, and visual strength. The findings indicate that the implementation of two-way communication through interactive content, the consistent application of blue color psychology, and the optimization of Nudge Theory are effective in increasing engagement and participation within the museum’s digital community. The use of blue not only strengthens the museum’s visual identity and credible image but also creates a positive emotional experience for the audience. These results underscore the importance of adaptive, participatory, and color psychology-based visual communication strategies in building engagement and maintaining the museum’s relevance amid digital transformation. This research is expected to serve as a reference for other institutions in developing effective visual communication on social media.
