Abstract

This research is driven by the subdued classroom atmosphere, evidenced by a lack of student motivation to engage in learning, minimum participation in discussions, and numerous instances of late assignment submissions. Consequently, the author tried to address this issue. Slido, a contemporary learning media and evaluation platform, ultimately provided a solution. This research investigates the perceptions of UIN SATU Tulungagung students regarding the Slido application as a learning medium for the subject of learning IPS for MI/SD. The researcher employs descriptive research with a qualitative approach that aims to elucidate the phenomenon in depth and comprehensively. The participants in this study are 32 students of class B from the fifth semester of the PGMI program during the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and documentation. The validity test utilized triangulation and was analyzed using the methods of Mike and Huberman analysis. The findings indicated that students held a positive perception of the Slido application. This research aligns with the ongoing digitalization of learning initiatives. Future researchers are encouraged to investigate a broader range of digital platforms to advance national education.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of technology-based Islamic Religious Education learning media in improving student motivation and learning outcomes at the elementary school. This study used a qualitative approach with a literature review. Data collection was carried out by reviewing articles related to technology-based Islamic Religious Education learning media in elementary schools published in the period 2020–2025. The analysis was carried out by reviewing 14 previous research results that discussed the use of various digital media. The results showed that the use of technology-based Islamic Religious Education learning media proved effective in increasing student interest, motivation, involvement, conceptual understanding, and learning outcomes. In addition, technology media was also able to strengthen religious values and provide a more contextual and enjoyable learning experience. However, the implementation of technology media still faced a number of challenges, such as limited teacher competence in using technology, limited infrastructure, dependence on internet access, and the need for content curation that was in accordance with Islamic teachings. Therefore, it was essential to offer training support, provide necessary facilities and infrastructure, and implement school policies that facilitated the optimal integration of technology media in Islamic Religious Education, particularly at the elementary school.

Abstract

This study addresses the challenge of low mathematics learning outcomes and limited student interest in multiplication among second-grade students at MI Al-Amin. A qualitative descriptive approach was adopted, involving 20 students selected through purposive sampling. Data collection methods included observation, interviews, and documentation to evaluate the impact of using the Papan Musi instructional media. The findings indicated that the use of Papan Musi demonstrated potential effectiveness in enhancing students’ understanding of multiplication. Visual and hands-on learning approaches appeared to increase student engagement, enthusiasm, and comprehension. This was evidenced by improvements in daily test scores and supported by positiv feedback from students, who reported greater enjoyment and clarity in learning. Although not without limitations, such as visibility issues and classroom noise, the overall response suggested that Papan Musi may serve as a useful tool to support concept acquisition in early mathematics education.

Abstract

The low internal motivation and self-esteem of students in science learning is caused by the lack of innovation in the methods and limited learning media used. The study aims to of evaluating the validity, feasibility, and improvement of students' self-esteem by using Malilu Sipakainge 3D media through the ARCS method based on outdoor learning. This research used the Research and Development (R&D) methodology, using the 4D model which consists of four main stages defining, designing, developing, and disseminating. Data were collected from various sources, including material experts, media experts, teachers, and students as participants. The material expert validation resulted 77.5%, indicating ‘valid’ classification. In contrast, the media expert validation resulted 95%, indicating ‘highly valid’ classification. This study focused on students enrolled in fourth grade with a total of 20 students, the evaluation of the results of the teacher's response to the feasibility aspect obtained a score of 100% in the “very feasible” classification. The findings of this study based on the implementation of the pre and post-test showed that students' self-esteem increased, the pre-test results 64.75% with “good” classification and the post-test results 78.5% with “very good” classification. Based on the findings of this study, it can be interpreted that the development of Malilu Sipakainge 3D media for plant part function material can increase students' self-esteem.

Abstract

This study was motivated by an extraordinary event, namely the large number of students who experienced food poisoning after consuming snacks sold in the school environment. One of the causes of this event was the low level of students' understanding of green behavior in maintaining health, which was applied in their snacking behavior in the school environment. Students prefer to buy snacks they like rather than considering the healthiness of the snacks. This can impact future sustainability (sustainable development). This study aims to determine the extent of students' green behavior as seen in their snacking behavior. This study is a qualitative research. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is triangulation. Through triangulation, conclusions can be drawn regarding the attitude toward green behavior in choosing healthy snacks based on students' snacking behavior. The results of this study indicate that most students do not yet exhibit green behavior. This can be seen from the fact that students prefer to choose snacks based on their preferences and food trends rather than health or nutritional aspects. Students also have a low understanding of healthy snacks and are becoming more consumptive.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a digital Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) learning media integrating Muna Pa’a local wisdom through a microlearning strategy to enhance students’ learning retention. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) design with the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The study involved fourth-grade students at SDN 19 Woja, focusing on the media’s validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results show that the developed media was rated “Highly Valid” by experts with an average score of 88.33%, “Highly Practical” by teachers (87.67%) and students (90.33%), and “Effective” in improving students’ retention, as indicated by the increase in the average score from 55.2 (pre-test) to 82.5 (post-test). The integration of Muna Pa’a values and microlearning successfully created contextual and engaging digital learning media that enhance memory and cultural understanding. This innovation can be adopted as an alternative solution to improve the quality of IPAS learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

Learning Science, Social Studies, and Arts (IPAS) in elementary schools is often constrained by the lack of interactive local culture-based media, leading to low student comprehension. This research aims to develop digital flash card media based on the distinctive Sagele culture of Dompu to enhance IPAS concept comprehension. The Research and Development (R&D) method, specifically the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), was employed at SDN 3 Pajo, with 24 fifth-grade students as the sample. Instruments included validation sheets, response questionnaires, and concept comprehension tests (pre-test/post-test). The results indicate that this media is Highly Valid (93.0%) according to experts, Highly Practical (88.0%) based on teacher and student responses, and Effective in improving IPAS concept comprehension. A significant increase was observed in the average post-test score (82.50) compared to the pre-test (48.33), with an N-gain of 0.66 (Moderate category). The integration of Sagele culture proved crucial in creating a contextual and meaningful learning experience for students. In conclusion, the digital flash card media based on Sagele culture is a successful learning innovation, effectively improving IPAS concept comprehension while simultaneously promoting local wisdom. This product holds significant potential for broader adoption to support relevant and contextual learning in the future

Abstract

Pancasila education at MI Al-Falah still relies on printed modules that are less interactive and engaging, causing the learning process to be mostly one-way. This condition makes students passive in exploring the meaning of Pancasila values and less trained in analyzing, evaluating, and drawing conclusions about moral issues around them, which are essential components of critical thinking skills. This study aims to develop a Google Sites-based e-module integrated with Blooket on the topic “Pancasila in Myself: The Meaning of Pancasila Principles in Society,” and to examine its outcomes and effectiveness in improving the critical thinking dimension of the Pancasila Student Profile Rahmatan lil Alamin (P5PPRA), which is an Indonesian character education framework emphasizing faith-based morality and civic values, among fourth grade students at MI Al-Falah. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The findings revealed an increase in the students’ average scores from 67 to 90, with an N-Gain of 0.70, categorized as high, indicating a significant improvement in students’ critical thinking skills. Student responses reached 92%, indicating a very positive perception. Based on these results, the e-module is considered feasible, valid, and effective in enhancing students’ critical thinking through an interactive digital approach. This e-module serves as a relevant alternative learning resource that supports the development of the critical thinking dimension of the P5PPRA character in the era of modern education.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss the transformation of learning technology in the implementation of the merdeka Curriculum at MIN 3 Subang. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that technological transformation in the implementation of the merdeka Curriculum has had a positive impact on three main aspects: learning media, learning resources, and assessment. In the aspect of learning media, teachers utilize instructional videos from YouTube and interactive PowerPoint presentations with images and audio to create engaging and easily understandable learning experiences. In terms of learning resources, students access digital platforms such as youTube, e-learning platform, articles, and e-books to support independent learning based on their interests and abilities. Meanwhile, in the aspect of assessment, teachers use google forms for daily, midterm, and final assessments, with results obtained automatically, as well as quizizz for formative assessments designed as interactive and enjoyable games. In conclusion, the technological transformation at MIN 3 Subang has successfully integrated digital media, learning resources, and assessments synergistically, thereby supporting the implementation of the merdeka Curriculum that is adaptive, creative, and relevant to technological developments and the needs of today’s learners.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and integrate the local wisdom of Kampung Naga as a learning resource in Madrasah to develop the Pancasila Student Profile. The research employed a mixed-method approach with an explanatory design, combining qualitative and quantitative data. Participants included the indigenous community of Kampung Naga, teachers, and students of MI Arrohmah Dadaha Tasikmalaya. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed thematically for qualitative data and by using the N-gain test for quantitative data. Data validity was ensured through source and method triangulation. The findings reveal that various forms of local wisdom, such as environmental management, traditional agricultural systems, water conservation, and sustainable living practices, can serve as contextual science learning resources for students. The collaboration between Madrasah Ibtidaiyah and the Kampung Naga community encourages meaningful and applicable learning experiences. This collaborative learning model has been proven to enhance several dimensions of the Pancasila Student Profile, including being faithful and pious to God Almighty, independent, cooperative, critical-thinking, and creative.
