Abstract

This study stems from the fact that there are still many students in class IV-A SDN-1 Kalampangan who have not been able to exceed the criteria for achieving learning objectives. Based on the results of tests conducted at the time of pre-research, only 25% of students achieved the criteria for achieving learning objectives.  Therefore, this study aims to 1) Describe the implementation of learning by using smart monopoly (monopin) learning media in the subject of IPAS force material around us in class IV A students of SDN 1 Kalampangan, 2) Improve learning outcomes of IPAS subject matter of forces around us through monopin learning media in class IV A students of SDN 1 Kalampangan. This study uses a classroom action research method (PTK) with the Kemmis & McTaggart model which includes four steps, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects consisted of IV-A homeroom teacher and 16 students. Data collection in this study used instruments including observation using observation sheets, interviews using interview guidelines, tests, and documentation. The results showed that 1) Learning by using monopin learning media can create an effective and fun learning atmosphere, besides that student learning outcomes have increased, 2) At the pre-cycle stage, the number of students who were complete was 4 people (25%) and those who were not coumplete were 12 people (75%). Cycle I, out of 16 students who were complete as many as 11 students (68.75%) and those who were not complete were 3 students (31.25%). Whereas in Cycle II, there were 14 students (87.50%) who were complete and 2 students (12.50%) who were not complete.

Abstract

The ability to solve mathematical problems for class III students at SDN 1 Tunjungharjo using the realistic mathematics education (RME) model assisted by puzzle media is the focus of this research. Use of quantitative methods with a pre-experimental one group pretest and posttest design to obtain research data. A systematic sampling procedure was used to select the sample, with 37 students serving as the research sample from a total population of 40 students. The findings of this research show that students understand the indicators of problem solving: reading and understanding the problem, exploring the problem, choosing a solution strategy, looking for answers, and checking again. The results of the data analysis carried out show that there is an influence of the realistic mathematics education model assisted by puzzle media on the mathematical problem solving abilities of class III students. This is shown by the results of the paired sample t-test where Lower has a negative value with a gain of -53.279 and Upper has a negative value with a gain of -44.018 and a Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 which means Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. Apart from that, the gain test results showed an increase in the medium category with a score of 0.674.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the difference in the average increase in students' cognitive learning outcomes in science subjects using the Science, Environment, Technology and Society (SETS) approach and the conventional approach. This research uses a quasi-experimental design with a non-equivalent control group design. The population of this research is all fifth grade students from one of the elementary schools in Bandung Regency for the 2023/2024 academic year. The research population was 22 experimental class students and 24 control class students. Data collection through descriptive tests in the form of pretest and posttest. The test instrument in this research was developed by applying expert judgment. Data analyzed using the t test shows that the t value = 9.003 and the sig value. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05 then 𝐻0 is rejected. This means that there is a difference in the average increase in cognitive learning outcomes for class V students in science subjects using the SETS approach and the conventional approach. The average N-Gain value of the control class is 0.079 with medium criteria. Meanwhile, the experimental class is 0.530 with medium criteria. So it can be concluded that this research uses cognitive learning outcomes. The Science, Environment, Technology, Society (SETS) approach is an alternative for Natural Sciences (IPA) subjects that makes it easier for students to develop learning outcomes.

Abstract

The P5P2RA project is part of the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Madrasas. Through the P5P2RA Project, we build students' character so that they have attitudes that are by the values of Pancasila and Rahmatan Lil'alamin. This research aims to describe the process of strengthening student profiles at the Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah level with research subjects involving the components involved in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum at MIN 4 Garut with students in class I and class IV as the objects. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, using interviews, observation, and documentation as data collection tools. Data analysis uses triangulation techniques, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/verification. The research results show that through the P5P2RA project activities, students' attitudes of independence, creativity, and tathawur wa ibtikar experience development. Through observation activities, teachers can diagnose children's attitudes before project activities through diagnostic assessments, and observe through summative assessments at the end of project activities. The development of students' attitudes can be seen from the results of summative assessment observations, this occurs through the learning process when carrying out contextual project activities. Through P5P2RA activities, students learn to observe their peers so that students gain knowledge, understand rules, increase skills, and have strategies and beliefs in developing attitudes.
