Abstract

Mathematics learning is an important component in improving students' understanding and abilities in this field. However, students often have difficulty understanding abstract and complex mathematical concepts. Therefore, an effective and innovative learning model is needed to ensure students can understand and master the material well. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). The subjects of this research were class I students at SD Negeri 1 Kalitengah, Klaten City. The value collection time is carried out in 2 cycles. Data collection techniques that have been carried out use observation techniques, field notes and documentation. From the start of the Pretest, Cycle 1 and Cycle 2, grade 1 students at Kalitengah State Elementary School succeeded in fulfilling the specified KKM. The Active Learning learning model using smart bottle caps has been proven to improve students' understanding of mathematical addition. Students involved in this learning show significant improvements in their ability to add numbers, identify addition patterns, and solve math problems involving addition.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to increase students' activeness and understanding of learning material regarding Greatest Common Factor (FPB) and Least Common Multiple (KPK) using the prime factorization box method, as well as to improve student learning outcomes. The research was carried out in September and October at SDN 1 Glagah, Jatinom District. The research subjects consisted of 18 fifth grade students, with 14 male students and 4 female students. The use of prime factorization boxes as a guide in teaching and learning activities has proven to be effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes. The research instrument used was a formative test, which resulted in the finding that the application of this method was able to increase students' understanding and activeness, as well as achieve a significant increase in their learning outcomes. The results of this research provide a positive contribution to the development of more interesting and effective mathematics learning methods.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the application of the demonstration method in improving the skills and learning outcomes of early writing skill for grade 1 elementary school students. The demonstration method provides a learning experience so students can master the lesson or understand the concept well and correctly through the process of observing and imitating what the teacher has demonstrated directly or through relevant image media. The research method used is classroom action research. Data collection techniques are tests, observations and interviews. The data obtained was analyzed using comparative description analysis. This Classroom Action Research was carried out in 2 cycles with procedures in each cycle starting from planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the study showed that basic competency in early writing skill of perpendicular letters increased the average value of student learning outcomes by 1.3 from pre-cycle to cycle 1 and 6.2 from cycle 1 to cycle 2, students who obtained learning outcome scores above the KKM ( 60) also increased from 60% in the pre-cycle to 90% in cycle 1 and 100% in cycle 2.
