Abstract

Indonesia is a country with a massive cultural diversity in every region. The cultural community certainly has its own characteristics to show their respective traditions with the natural forces of the region both real (sekala) and intangible (niskala). In that case, to live the socio -cultural life is certainly not independent of the procedures, attitudes and ethics when dealing with society. now, ethical attitudes in character seem almost extinct and neglected. This is becoming more viral with the participation of unethical attitudes by young people through youtube content, InstaGram, and other electronic media that have been rapidly developing lately. So it is necessary the role of parents, the role of educators, and the role of the government to be able to filter the food on the media and always direct the students to always improve the values of Pancasila as the basis of being ethical as a moral teaching. In this case, Pancasila will be discussed through ethical education from the point of view of Balinese Theology and Culture.

The results from the define phase are used as a reference for multimedia design. The next stage is design, at this stage has produced draft-1 results of the review and design in the previous stage. The next stage is development, at this stage draft I is validated by material experts and media experts . In general, material experts gave an assessment that multimedia draft I was in accordance with KTSP and constructivistic learning theory. Media experts judge that multimedia is easy to use. The first draft was valid with revisions clarifying blood circulation construction, simplifying the start menu, adding quiz 1, and adding motion animations at the beginning and end of the slide to make it more interesting. After the revised draft I developed into draft II to be tested in the classroom. Small scale 17 students in grade V SD N Purworejo Purworejo Regency. This trial is to find out the response of students. In this stage, an observation was also made by 1 teacher regarding the use of multimedia to complete the teacher's response questionnaire. The results of the teacher and student response questionnaire showed that 17 students were satisfied with multimedia draft II and students increasingly understood the blood flow system, circulatory structure, blood type and diseases of the blood. The revision towards draft III is the addition of applause as a tribute to students. As far as the stages of research have been carried out, it can be said that multimedia development can be used in the learning process and get positive responses from students. The next research phase is to conduct large-scale trials with more (two-class) research samples. The results of the trial will produce the final product which will then be disseminated (dessiminate stage).

Abstract

Since the tsunami in 2004 in the Indian Ocean, studies of the megatrust tsunami have been increasing. One of the reasons is because the megatrust tsunami can cause large numbers of casualties, as has happened in Aceh and Mentawai (Indonesia). The threat of a megatrust tsunami now stretches along the coastline of the southern island of Java. Communities who are in the southern part of Java, ideally have the ability to be prepared to face a tsunami disaster. Therefore, an assessment of community preparedness in the face of a tsunami in Purworejo Regency is an urgency, because Purworejo is one of the regencies directly adjacent to the ocean in the south of Java Island. This study uses a combination of questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation to obtain data. This study provides information on the classification of villages along the coast of Purworejo in relation to the level of preparedness to face the threat of a tsunami disaster. The result is that from 16 villages 2 of them are of high status, 2 are low and the rest are moderate.

The educators’ role requires the prominent academic, pedagogycal and professional competence. Educators must be capable in designing and developing the proper instruction. To develop the educators’ competence, educational institution needs to provide systematic, effective, and continuous trainings for the teacher candidates through microteaching and apprenticeship programs. Microteaching program enables candidates to practice peer-teaching in the campus, while apprenticeship program makes candidates apply teaching in school classes. The clinical supervision model with class action approach is relevant to characteristics and steps of microteaching program. Professional advice through systematic clinical service after teaching practice can effectively develop candidates’ teaching skill, which motivates candidates to develop themselves in teaching practice.
