Abstract

The low of understanding sains concept and learning motivation caused by implementation of the teaching model that not appropiete. One of the learning model that impact to understanding sains concept and learning motivation was cooperative learning type make a match. The purposes of the research are to know (1)the difference of understanding sains concept between students that teached by cooperative learning type make a match model and students that teached by explicit instruction model; (2) the difference of understanding sains concept between students that had high learning motivation and students that had low learning motivation. The research was used Quasi Eksperimental method with 2x2 factorial design. This research used Two Ways Anava data analysis. The conclution were (1) there was the difference of understanding sains concept between students that teached by cooperative learning type make a match model and students that teached by explicit instruction model; (2) there was the difference of understanding sains concept between students that had high learning motivation and students that had low learning motivation.

Abstract

The role of schools in providing economic education from an early age should be maximized through non-formal or informal education as new economic education begins to be taught in the earliest schools at Junior High School level. In this research will be developed a story book in which contains a message on how to conduct economic activities in a rational manner so that children understand and can apply it in everyday economic activities.This research is a development research using Design Based Research development model. Based on the results of this study it is found that economic storybooks that have been developed are feasible to be used with the percentage of assessment from material experts of 86.72% (very feasible), and the percentage of assessment from media experts of 90.20% (very feasible). In addition, this story book is also effective to provide knowledge about the economic rationality that can be seen from the field trial results with a percentage of success of 80% (very good).

Abstract

The purpose of this study to improve the learning outcomes of class V students using interactive Power Point media. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is carried out in three cycles, where each cycle consists of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of grade V SD Negeri Randuacir 03 for the 2020/2021 school year, totaling 18 students. The techniques collection data use observation and tests. From the results of this study indicate that the use of interactive Power Point learning media can improve student learning outcomes in Theme 5 Ecosystem Content of Indonesian Language Learning as evidenced by the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes in cycle 1 67% to 78% in cycle II and increases again to 83% in cycle III.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to examine the urgency of parents to become smart parenting in educating children in the industrial revolution era 4.0. In the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 the challenges faced by parents in educating their children are increasingly severe. The characteristics of children in this era have different characteristics from previous generations. The difference in characteristics requires parents to provide appropriate parenting strategies in improving the quality of children's education. Smart parenting is a parenting strategy that has a smart way to educate their children in order to achieve optimal development and can solve problems in their child's development. Smart parenting is suitable to be used in educating children in the industrial revolution era 4.0 because it can improve the ability of parents in terms of educating children so that they can optimally support children's development.

Abstract

Pembelajaran inovatif yang bersifat konstruktivisme serta mengarah pada pembelajaran yang bermakna, menjembatani interaksi guru dan peserta didik merupakan konsekuensi logis dari efek lompatan teknologi digital dan teknologi informasi yang menghasilkan akses serba cepat di era disrupsi. Aksara Jawa adalah bagian dari kebudayaan lokal yang harus dilestarikan di era disrupsi sebagai salah satu kekayaan budaya lokal yang sarat dengan nilai-nilai dan ajaran moral. Implementasi model dan media pembelajaran inovatif merupakan salah satu upaya upaya pelestarian kebudayaan lokal yang berupa aksara Jawa di ranah pendidikan dasar. Penelitian yang dilakukan di dua sekolah dasar dengan menggunakan model dan media pembelajaran inovatif menghasilkan peningkatan ketrampilan membaca dan menulis aksara Jawa. Penelitian yang dilakukan di SD Negeri 1 Boyolali pada uji pratindakan diperoleh hasil rata-rata kelas 50,75 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 12,50%. Pada siklus I nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat menjadi 68,09 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 56,25%, dan pada siklus II nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat menjadi 79,14 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 87,50%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media Pop Up Book dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca aksara Jawa pada siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Boyolali. Dengan tindakan yang sama, penelitian di kelas VA SD Muhammadiyah Wonogiri mendapat nilai rata-rata 27,04 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 19,23% pada uji pratindakan, siklus I rata-rata 68,21 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 70,83%, siklus II nilai rata-rata 81,25 dengan ketuntasan klasikal 91,67% sehingga didapat kesimpulan bahwa model pembelajaran make a match dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan menulis aksara Jawa siswa kelas VA SD Muhammadiyah Wonogiri. Dari dua penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa model dan media pembelajaran inovatif dapat meningkatkan ketrampilan membaca dan menulis aksara Jawa di era disrupsi.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the improvement of conceptual understanding of natural resource-related economic activities through the application of Circuit Learning model. This research used classroom action research with two cycles. Its data were collected through in-depth interview, observation, test, and documentation. They were validated by using content validity and data collection technique triangulation. The data were analyzed by using the Miles & Huberman’s interactive model of analysis. The result of the research shows that prior to the treatment 5 out of 31 students (16.13%) fulfilled the minimal learning completeness criterion of 70. Following the treatments, the number of the students who fulfilled the criterion was 13 students (42%) in Cycle I and 26 (83.87%) in Cycle II respectively. Thus, the Circuit Learning model can improve the conceptual understanding of natural resource-related economic activities of the students in Grade IV of State Primary School Karangasem IV No. 204 of Surakarta in Academic Year 2017/2018.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to increase students' interest in learning. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) which was conducted in 3 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students and fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Wonoyoso, Kuwarasan District, Kebumen Regency in the academic year 2020/2021, totaling 28 students. Data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires and tests. Data analysis includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research shows that the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model can increase the learning interest and learning outcomes of grade IV and grade V SD Negeri 1 Wonoyoso, Kuwarasan District, Kebumen Regency in the academic year 2020/2021 as evidenced by the percentage of completeness of learning outcomes in cycle Iamounted to 53.6% to 92.9% in cycle III

Abstract

Indonesia has a variety of cultures. Each culture has special characteristics. Special characteristics of each culture can cause obstacles to the individual. Experiences by students who come from different cultures. Students from different cultures show language barriers, academic barriers, barriers in values and norms, and experience racism. Educators’ low multicultural competence also influence it. The objective of this article is to prepare school counselors for provide multicultural services based data needs of students through the exploration of feelings, competencies, enthusiasm, opportunities and goals to develop multicultural service programs in a programmed, systematic, integrated, and sustainable manner, expected to be able to help develop students' competencies optimally. The next objective is to analyze the implementation of multicultural counseling with an eclectic approach based on data exploration of the students’ potential. The assistance provided by the counselor is based on techniques Psychodynamic, Existential-Humanistic, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Post-Modern approaches.
