Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of skilled students in rewriting anecdote texts, in addition students are still wrong in determining the structure and langunge of anecdoteal texts. This study aims to describe the effetivensesss of the use of the Group Investigation learning model for the re-writing skills of an anecdotes in class X of SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. This type of research in quantitative research using an experimental model. The design of this study is Posttets-Only Control Design. The population of this study was all students of class x SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. The sample ini this study was 29th grade students of SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. The data in the study are the score of anecdote text rewriting skills without using the Group Investigation learning model and the anecdote textrewriting skill score using the Group Investigation learning model of class X students of  SMAN 1 Linggo sari Baganti. The results of this study can be concluded as follows. First, the ability to rewrite anecdotal texs in class X students of SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti, South Pesisir Regency without using the Group Investigation model obtained an average value of 73,27 wiht a classification that is more than enough (HC). Secondly, the ability to rewrite anecdotal texts in class X students of SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti, South Coastal District using the Group Investigation model obtained an average rating of 81,03 with a classification that is Good (B). Third, based on the results of the t-test obtained t count>t table 4.70>1.67. So, it can be concluded that the Group Investigation model is effectively used to improve the writing skills of anecdotal text of grade X students of SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti, Pesisir Selatan RegencyAbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya siswa yang terampil dalam menulis ulang teks anekdot, selain itu siswa masih salah dalam menentukan struktur dan bahasa teks anekdot. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas penggunaan model pembelajaran Group Investigation untuk keterampilan menulis ulang anekdot siswa kelas X di SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. Jenis penelitian dalam penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan model eksperimental. Desain penelitian ini adalah Posttets-Only Control Design. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas x SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 29 SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah skor keterampilan menulis ulang teks anekdot tanpa menggunakan model pembelajaran Group Investigation dan skor keterampilan menulis teks anekdot menggunakan model pembelajaran Group Investigation siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Linggo sari Baganti. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut. Pertama, kemampuan menulis ulang teks anekdot siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan tanpa menggunakan model Group Investigation diperoleh nilai rata-rata 73,27 dengan klasifikasi yang lebih dari cukup (HC). Kedua, kemampuan menulis ulang teks anekdot siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan dengan menggunakan model Group Investigation diperoleh nilai rata-rata 81,03 dengan klasifikasi Baik (B). Ketiga, berdasarkan hasil uji-t diperoleh t hitung> t tabel 4,70> 1,67. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model Group Investigation efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks anekdot siswa kelas X SMAN 1 Linggo Sari Baganti Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan.

Abstract

Analysis of Teacher Questions with the Framework of LOTS (Lower Order Thinking Skills) and HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) on Indonesian Language Learning in Soppeng Vocational High School 3. This study aims to describe the form of LOTS and HOTS teacher questions at the beginning, middle, and end of Indonesian Language learning at Soppeng State Vocational High School 3 using the Bloomers & Anderson Revision Taxonomy guide. The analysis in this study is a quantitative descriptive study. The techniques used in data collection are record and technique notes. The technique used to analyze data in this study is descriptive statistics. The results of the study indicate that at the beginning and end of learning there are 100% low-level questions (LOTS). At the core of learning, 89.72% of low-level questions and as many as 10.28% of questions belong to the category of high-level questions (HOTS).

Abstract

Language is an arbitrary sound symbol system that used for communication/interaction. Language is used as a communication tools in the political election. Political expression in the community of Jatibatur Village, contain signs that refers to certain things. The purpose of this study is to know: 1) political disclosure used people in Jatibatur Village, Gemolong Sub-district, and 2) the meaning of political disclosure used in Jatibatur Village, Gemolong Sub-district. The research method used in this research using an interview technique, see, and note. This study is a desriptive qualitative research. The data analysis technique in this study is using the analysys of the sign by Charles Sanders Pierce.  The result of this study are; 1) the existence of a Java lexicon, “abang” refers to PDI  perjuangan party, 2) the existence of a Java lexicon “wit ringin” refers to Golkar’s party in Indonesian, 3) the lexicon of a “wong cilik” in Java language especially in political, is refers to a poor people ora middle or lower class of people, 4) “ojo pedhot oyot” a tagline from PDI Perjuangan party in Centra Java, means to continuewhat was been fought, and 5) “caleg kae dekengane akeh” had a meaning that he had a strong protection.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the analysis of language errors of Baubau 3 High School students in class discussion activities. The research design is descriptive qualitative. Research data analyzes language errors in class discussion activities in the form of use of intonation / tone, diction (choice of words), and sentence structure.The results showed that the form of language error analysis in class X of SMA Negeri 3 Baubau in class discussion activities was the use of intonation consisting of: high intonation, moderate intonation and low intonation. The use of diction (word choice) which consists of: the use of synonymous words, the use of denotation and connotation words, the use of foreign words or terms, the use of popular words and study words, and the use of words of conversation and slang. The use of  sentence structure consists of: the use of compulsory sentence structures and the use of sentence structures are not mandatory (where they like). Based on the data obtained regarding the analysis of language errors in class X students in class discussion activities, it can be said that in the use of intonation there are errors in the form of high intonation of 11, intonation is not there and intonation is low as many as 16 errors. In the use of diction there are errors in the use of 40 synonymous words, use of denotations and connotations of 41, use of foreign words or terms as many as 14, use of popular words and study words as many as 3, and the use of 120 words of conversation and slang. Furthermore, the use of sentence structures has errors in the form of mandatory sentence structures that do not exist, and in the sentence structure is not mandatory as many as 156 errors.

Abstract

Javanese of East Java dialect has several subdialects, one of which is the Jonegoroan subdialect. Jonegoroan Javanese Language (BJJ) is still spoken by a group of Bojonegoro students in the University of Brawijaya Malang in their daily communication. This study aims to 1) interpret language cases; 2) variation patterns, and 3) reveal the reason for the use of BJJ by Bojonegoro students in UB Malang. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection uses observation, interview, recording, and listening techniques. Data analysis in this study used a sociolinguistic approach with several theories, including the theory of language retention and the theory of word change. The results of this study are 1) cases of linguistics that often arise in speech use are apheresis; 2) BJJ variation patterns include forms of suffix changes and several other terms that are distinguishing or indicating BJJ identity toward Javanese in other regions; and 3) the reasons  for saying BJJ is expression of regional spirit, compulsion, bonding solidarity, ethnic existence, ease of communication, habits, pride, awareness of norms, and language loyalty.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of code-mixing in the novel Range of Stories by Gita Savitri Devi. This study aims to describe the form and function of code-mixing in the novel and to relate it to teaching materials in learning novel texts for class XII SMA. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. The research subject is the novel Range of Stories by Gita Savitri Devi and the object under study is code mixing in the novel. Data collection is done by using reading and note techniques. The main instrument determinant in this research is the researcher himself. The data analysis technique used is the referential equivalent method, while the data validity technique uses intrarater and interrater. This technique is done by intensifying observations, namely by reading the novel Range of Stories repeatedly. Meanwhile, the interrater technique was carried out by checking the validity of the data through supervisors and colleagues who carried out the same research. Then, data analysis using referential equivalent method. The results of this study are as follows: (1) code-mixing forms in the form of words, word groups, clauses, baster, abbreviations, and word repetitions; (2) the function of code mixing as repetition of words, display of learning, affirmation of the accuracy of meaning, and indication of uniqueness; and (3) the link between code mixing in novels and teaching materials in learning novel texts for class XII SMA based on KD 3.9 and 4.9 AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh penggunaan campur kode dalam novel Rentang Kisah karya Gita Savitri Devi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud dan fungi campur kode dalam novel tersebut serta mengaitkannya dengan bahan ajar pada pembelajaran teks novel kelas XII SMA. Jenis penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian berupa novel Rentang Kisah karya Gita Savitri Devi dan objek yang yang diteliti adalah campur kode dalam novel tersebut. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik baca catat. Penentu instrumen utama dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti sendiri. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode padan referensial, sedangkan teknik keabsahan data menggunakan intrarater dan interrater, Teknik ini lakukan dengan mengintensifkan pengamatan, yaitu dengan membaca novel Rentang Kisah secara berulang-ulang. Sementara itu, teknik interrater dilakukan dengan mengecek keabsahan data melalui dosen pembimbing maupun teman sejawat yang melakukan penelitian yang sama. Kemudian, analisis data menggunakan metode padan referensial. Hasil dari penelitian ini sebagai berikut:(1) wujud campur kode berupa kata, kelompok kata, klausa, baster, singkatan, dan pengulangan kata; (2) fungsi campur kode sebagai pengulangan kata, pemameran keterpelajaran, penegasan ketepatan makna, dan penunjukan kekhasan; dan (3) kaitan campur kode pada novel dengan bahan ajar pada pembelajaran teks novel kelas XII SMA berdasarkan KD 3.9 dan 4.9.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the style and language of TGB communication in public studies of the 77th, 79th, and 80th NWDI rituals. This type of research uses qualitative descriptive method. Qualitative research method is a research method used to examine the condition of natural objects, where researchers are as a key instrument, data collection techniques are done in triangulation, data  analysis is inductive, and qualitative research results emphasize the meaning of generalization. The data and data sources in this research are 77,797 and 80 public lecture videos of NWDI, downloaded from youtube. The problem discussed in this research is how communication style and rhetoric of TGB da'wah in public study of 77th, 79th, and 80th NWDI rituals. TGB communication style is a combination of low context communication style and positive side of high context communication characterized by the delivery style firm, straightforward, clear, peaceful, cool, calm, and able to play the rhythm when lecturing. The form of TGB's rhetoric of da'wah is a merging of aspects of rhetoric with forms of rhetoric. Aspects of rhetoric are diction, code transfer, code mixing, and politeness. The forms of TGB rhetoric are seen from the style of languages and non-languages. Both are very influential in the rhetoric of TGB preaching. The rhetorical perspectives are due to the application of the language style has been adjusted to the condition of pilgrims and place of application.

Abstract

The concept that underlies the learning of cultural arts is absolute for teachers which is based on meeting the needs of students in studying cultural arts in schools. The needs of these students, if it is related to the context of the development of the community's outlook on life, because after all students will eventually return to live and play a role in the social environment. The development of cultural arts for teachers is an important thing, especially during the corona period is a form of Higher Education Tri Dharma that must be done. The result is that the teacher is able to teach and understand and understand what the teacher needs as a capital to continue to exist, especially during the corona pandemic.AbstrakKonsep yang mendasari pembelajaran seni budaya adalah mutlak bagi guru yang didasarkan pada pemenuhan kebutuhan apa yang perlu bagi peserta didik dalam mempelajari seni budaya di sekolah. kebutuhan peserta didik ini, jika dikaitkan konteks perkembangan pandangan hidup masyarakat, karena bagaimana pun peserta didik pada akhirnya akan kembali hidup dan berperan dalam lingkungan bermasyarakat. Pengembangan seni budaya kepada guru merupakan suatu hal yang penting apalagi pada masa corona adalah salah bentuk Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi yang harus dilakukan.  Hasilnya dalah guru mampu mengajarkan dan memahami serta mengerti seperti apa yang dibutuhkan guru sebagai modal untuk tetap eksis, apalagi pada masa pandemi corona.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the many forms of social reality of the Minangkabau people in Collection of Kaki Yang Terhormat Short Story by Gus Tf Sakai. This problem is the main reference to find out what the social reality of the Minangkabau community is in the Collection of Kaki Yang Terhormat Short Story by Gus Tf Sakai from the perspective of the author. This type of research is qualitative research. The method used in this research is descriptive method. The data in this study are in the form of words, sentences and dialogues related to Minangkabau social reality. The data source in this study is a Collection of Kaki Yang Terhormat Short Story by Gus Tf Sakai. The results of this studyillustrate the social reality of the Minangkabau people that occur from cultures or  traditions that have been born from their ancestors, which are customs or that have become identities for the people in Minangkabau or from habits that occur repeatedly and are designated as traditions for the Minangkabau people. Based on this, social reality of the Minangkabau people in Collection of Kaki Yang Terhormat Short Story by Gus Tf Sakai in terms of (1) language, there are Minang languages and Indonesian languages; (2) the science system, regarding takambang nature to become a teacher; (3) social systems / social systems, in the form of traditions that become the identity of the Minangkabaucommunity; (4) equipment / equipment, regarding equipment / characteristics for the Minangkabau community which is a necessity for life and culture of the Minangkabau community; (5) livelihood system, regarding work for the Minangkabau people (6) arts, concerning the motion art possessed by the Minangkabau people namely silek, and (7) religious systems, regarding culture to surau for adolescents in Minangkabau.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the inner and physical structure of the poem "Fajr: Time Celebrated by Chicken crowing" by Ahmad Nasrullah using structural studies. This poem is thick with social, moral, and religious values that need to be understood and implemented in everyday life. The method used in this study uses descriptive qualitative. The data source used is every diction which contains structural and mental elements and physical poem "Dawn: Time Celebrated Chicken crowing". Data collection techniques used are library studies with interactive analysis techniques,  which include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the analysis of the poem entitled "Fajr: Time Celebrated by Chicken crowing" it was found that the inner element was the theme of excess dawn time. The poet is concerned about those who do not take advantage of the dawn, while the message is to make good use of the dawn time. Then, the physical element of the poem is the choice diction which is to make good use of the dawn time. Then, the physical element of the poem is the choice diction which is able to tag the reader. The imagery contained in the poem is the image of motion, temperature, vision, while the majes found are personification and hyperbole with rhythm and rhythm in the form of internal sound patterns that are elements of repetition and equality of sound, be it consonants or vowels. In addition, the typography used is modern poetry.
