Abstract

This research aims to improve MTs students’ learning interest at Al. Ma’arif  Wuluhan class Vll C through group counseling services with 30 students being studied. The data collection methods used were Observation and Questionnaire, which were then analyzed using descriptive data analysis. Based on the results of the initial observation by giving a questionnaire and obtaining the main data with the percentage of learning interest is 33,3% of 30 students, after being given action in the first cycle, the learning interest inceased with a percentage of 55% of 20 students, after continuing in cycle II the level of students’ learning interest increased with a percentage of 88,8% of 9 students. Providing group counseling services shows that students’ learning interest in schools has increased. Research avtivities have been categorized as successful becauce they reach a percentage above the success indicators that have been set at 80% they percentage of students’ interest in learning at school.  Keywords: group counseling, learning interest.

Abstract

Bullying is defined as repeated aggression carried out by one or more people who aim to harm or disturb others physically, verbally or psychologically. Verbal bullying is a desire to harm or disturb other people in a non-physical manner which includes: 1) calling names of ridicule, 2) extortion, 3) threatening, 4) swear words, 5) taunting friends. This research was conducted in class VIIIb of MTs. Al-Ma'arif Wuluhan. This research used quantitative approach of a pre-experimental with one group pretest design. The population in this study was all eighth grade students of MTs. Al - Ma'arif Wuluhan and the sample was taken using purposive sampling. The data collection techniques used in this study were observations, interviews, and questionnaires which were then analyzed using the Wilcoxom test. The results of research on verbal bullying behavior has decreased from the role playing technique to verbal bullying behavior of class VIIIb MTs AL-MA'ARIF students. It can be seen from Z count (0, 186)> Z table (0.05) which means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Keyword: role playing, verbal bullying

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know any significant effect of using Lah Bako mathematic learning strategy on students learning outcome as local wisdom in Jember. The kind of the research is exsperimental with quantitative approach. The subjects of the research are V grade students’. The data collecting methods are documentation, test and interview. After testing of the using Lah Bako mathematic learning strategy, the results of student outcome is better. The value of chi squre is 30,000 and table of chi squre is 3,481, it means that chi squre is higher than table of chi squre. Based on the results, it can be inferred that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, and the conclusion is, there is a significant effect of using Lah Bako mathematic learning strategy on students learning outcome as local wisdom in Jember. The suggestion of the research is, teacher as the main key on learning process must be creative and inovative to compile the learning strategy, where the learning strategy is used not only for reaching the learning purpose but also learning strategy which invite the students for knowing surrounding local wisdom, as using Lah Bako (Latihan Hitung Bangun Kongkret) learning strategy that it’s name of traditional dance from Jember.Keywords: Lah Bako strategy, learning outcome.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvements of students’ activities and learning outcomes in studying the digestive linier equation system of two variables (SPLDV) with learning model collaboration of Student Facilitator And Explaining (SFE) with Talking Stick. The type of research is a classroom action research (CAR). The results revealed that the percentage of students’ learning ativities in the first cycle was 91,6% and the second cycle was 94,65%. Furthermore, the results of tests yielded that the students’ scores in the first cycle obtained average value 80% and the average value in the second cycle was 95%. It is proved that the students’ activities and learning outcomes can be improved with the implementation of Learning model collaboration of Student Facilitator and Explaining (SFE) with Talking Stick. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve thinking creativity and learning achievement of Marketing Productive in class XI PMS 2 of SMK Negeri 1 Lumajang in the 2017/2018 Academic Year through the application of a cooperative learning model of two stay two stray techniques using the scientific approach. The type of research is Classroom Action Research. The research subject was XI PMS 2 students from SMK Negeri 1 Lumajang for the 2017/2018 Academic Year. Data collection techniques used were (a) observation, (b) interviews, (c) tests, and (d) documentation. Research procedures include (1) action planning; (2) implementation of actions; (3) observation; and (4) reflection. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning technique model of TSTS using the scientific approach can improve thinking creativity and learning achievement. Abstract

The learning model is a need for learning in order to achieve success in the education process. The researcher conducted observations in class VII A of Al – Maufi Tempurejo junior high school. The data obtained shows that 47% of students' scores were less equal than 70 (≤70). This study aims to determine student achievement in learning the characteristics of living creatures using animated videos with Discovery Learning models. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR) with cycle model. Based on the result of the study, the percentage of students’ achievement in the first and second cycles was 88,23%. While the students daily test result on the cycle I and II obtained an average of 89. This proves that using animated videos with discovery learning models can improve student achievement. Animated videos with discovery learning models are used to reduce saturation in the learning process. Keywords: Discovery learning model, learning achievement, animated video

Abstract

Burnout learning can prevent a person from becoming a personal success desired for his future life. Researchers conducted observations at the junior high school Al-Hikmah Jambuan boarding school class VII even semester of the academic year 2016-2017 and obtained data about 56% or more than half the students who experienced burnout learning. This study aims to reduce the intensity of learning burnout through group dynamics. The type of research used is action research guidance and counseling (PTBK). The procedure used is the cycle model. Based on the results of the research, the first cycle of the first meeting of respondents still shows the attitude of learning burnout. It is shown from student activeness, student interest, student enthusiasm, and conducive student only ranged between 60-66%. The second meeting, respondents have shown a better situation that is about 78%. The first cycle of the first meeting is about 80%. The second meeting, student activity, student interest, student enthusiasm, and conducive students increased, ranging from 89-91%. Thus, it can be concluded that group dynamics can decrease the intensity of learning burnout.Keywords: Learning Burnout, Group Dynamics

Abstract

Self esteem can occur in adolescence, one of which is at school age. School age is the transition period of individuals from childhood to adulthood, so that many problems are faced, both with oneself and with the surrounding environment. This study aims to determine the increase in student self esteem by providing personal social guidance services. This study used guidance and counseling action research (PTBK). The population is determined as the research respondents. The data collection methods used in this study were questionnaire method, and observation. Based on the results of the study; the first cycle at the first meeting, the respondents still showed low self esteem, which showed only 50%. While in cycle 2, researchers emphasized more on providing reinforcement to respondents so that the self esteem can increase to 70%. This can be seen from the column showing that self esteem has increased to 70%. Keywords: self esteem, social personal guidance

Abstract

This research is taken during the researcher has subjects of Morphology in the classroom. This research aims to find out whether supplemental exercises textbook is effective to be implemented on comprehending morpheme as well as gaining high achievement on learning morphology. All data were collected through a questionnaire and tests are given to twenty-five college students. Of twenty-five students, two students did not join the exercise, but in the final test, twenty-four students took part in the final exam. All data gained were analyzed by using descriptive quantitative study. The result shows that the supplemental exercises textbook was effective to be implemented. It can be seen from the result of a questionnaire which can be called a high category level. Further, the result of students’ learning achievement was 83%. Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the extent of the influence of the intensity of the use of gadgets on the self-concept of class XI SMA Plus Al-Hasan Panti. The research method used is quantitative method and simple correlation. The participants were taken randomly using simple random sampling. This research was conducted by distributing a questionnaire to a predetermined sample. Based on the statistical test using the Pearson product-moment test, the r-value was 0.317 compared to the r table, the results obtained were 0.213. Further, the t-value was 3,064 compared to the t table, the results were 1,989, which means Ha was accepted and HO was rejected. Therefore, the gadget has a positive correlation with the students’ self-concept. Keywords: gadgets, self concept
