Abstract

On Augusts, Indonesian people always celebrate the Indonesian Independence Day. Every people in Indonesia feel the nationalism including the santri (Moslem students). Yaa Lal Wathon song added in the flag ceremony of Independence Day celebration is one of the ways to increase our nationalism. This research aims to analyze the lyrics of Yaa Lal Wathon song, to analyze the literature values and nationalism classification. The method of this research is descriptive study focusing on the content analysis. The result is the lyrics of this song, beginning from the first sentence to the last sentence, the literature values found are aesthetic values, philosophical values, and religious values. The classifications of nationalism are also found like romantic nationalism, nationality nationalism, and nation nationalism. This song is chosen to develop and increase the early nationalism values for our next generation as the purpose of the composer, KH. Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning outcomes and creative thinking skills through e-book media with EPUB extensions. The type of research used is classroom action research (CAR) with cycle prosedures. Based on the results of the study, students’ learning outcomes in the cycle I was 70%, then it had increased to 73,25% in cycle II. Students’ creative thinking skills was 57% in the cycle I and it had decreased to 55% in cycle II. The aspect of creative thinking ability in cycle I was 50% and it had increase to 53,5% in cycle II. Thus, it can be inferred that the results of cognitive learning and creative thingking skills of class IX students of SMK Hidayatul Mubtadiin can be improved by the use of e-book media with EPUB ekstensions. Abstract

The development of knowledge and technology nowadays has reached all aspects of life including education field. The digital learning invites the lecturers to be able to apply the system of E-learning as the use of technology development. One of E-learning application in education is schoology. Schoology has some interesting teaching and learning features like groups, resources, courses, quiz and attendance. The difference between the usual teaching and learning process with E- learning is from the centered of the activity, usual class is lecturer-centered the but e-learning is student-centered. Abstract

The objective of this research is to develop the application of multimedia based Zello Walkie Talkie as strategy to improve students’ speaking ability of first grade A students of SMK Kesehatan Medika Farma . The research design used is action research. The data of the study are in the forms of qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data were obtained by observing the teaching and learning process and interviewing the students of class XA. The procedures of the research were done through planning, acting, observing and reflecting. Based on the qualitative data, applying Zello Walkie Talkie media gave the students more chances to speak in English. These findings were also supported by the result of the students’ speaking scores. The mean improved to 79.6.  It indicates that they made a considerable improvement in some aspects of speaking skills such as pronunciation, fluency, grammar, and vocabulary. Abstract

This research describes and explains the similarities and differences of imperative signs in Javanese and Bahasa Indonesia. This is a descriptive qualitative research with content analysis. This research compares the imperative signs of Javanese and Bahasa Indonesia in morphological aspects of lexical and syntax. The result of this research shows that both lexical categories were signed by the use of affirmative and negative commands. In morphological category, imperative sentences both Javanese and Bahasa Indonesia were signed by affixes. Meanwhile, in syntax category, the imperative sentences were signed by phrases.Keywords : constranstive, imperative, Javanese, Bahasa indonesia

Abstract

Most students assume that mathematics is a complex subject and has a higher level of difficulty in its teaching. The subject of this study is the seventh grade students of Darunnajah Wuluhan Jember Middle School. Based on the existing problems in this study, a problem was formulated, namely how the process of implementing RME based on Video Streaming in Grade VII students of Darunnajah Wuluhan Middle School and whether RME based on Video Streaming could improve students’ learning outcomes. The results revealed that the students’ learning outcomes respective in Cycle I was 70.05% and Cycle II was 94.1%. Thus, it shows an increase of 11.8% in mathematics learning. It can be concluded that RME based on Video Streaming can improve students’ learning outcomes. Keywords: RME, Video Streaming

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the importance of High Order Thinking Skills in relation to solve mathematical problem solving. The method used is to describe the learning of mathematics related to problem solving using high-level thinking skills based on the results of a supportive reference study. Problem solving is a high-level mental process and requires a more complex process of thinking. Problem solving is a non-routine problem, meaning that the problem cannot be solved directly. This problem requires higher thinking skills in solving them. High Order Thinking Skills in Bloom Taxonomy in the cognitive domain consist of six levels: remembering, understanding, understanding, applying, analyzing, analyzing and evaluating (create). With high-level thinking skills a person will be able to solve problem solving problems properly. Given the importance of high-level thinking skills, these skills must be possessed by each student in answering mathematical problem solving. Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning achievement on Hajj and Umrah Basic Competence using Jigsaw technique at Junior High school level. The research participants are 30 ninth grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Panti. Action research with two cycles is implemented as the research design of this study. The results show the students’ average scores respectively from the pre cycle, cycle I, and cycle II are 70,67%, 76,66%, and 84,16%. The result of observation yields that students’ activeness increase respectively from cycle I to cycle II ranging from 75% to 90%. Teacher activities also increase from 81% to 95%. The result of interview admits that most of the students are motivated and interested in learning using Jigsaw technique. From the results above it can be inferred that Jigsaw learning method can improve both students’ learning achievement and motivation.Keywords: using Jigsaw, Hajj and Umrah

Abstract

At present, technological progress is very rapid, including the advancement of smartphone use. Based on the results of observations of biology subjects the majority of students are passive, students feel saturated with conventional methods, students still depend on the delivery of material delivered by the teacher. Therefore, researchers used smartphones as a medium to support the learning process. This study used action research (PTK) design. The data were collection using quantitative tests of cognitive learning outcomes, qualitative observations and documentation files. The subjects of this study were 22 students. Based on the observations of the activities of students in cycles 1 and 2 there was an increase from 65.9% to 73.9% of active criteria, with an increasing percentage of 8%. learning outcomes were improved in cycles 1 and 2: cycle 1 (pretest) 36.8%, (post-test) 64.9%. the improvement of learning outcomes in cycle I and 2 was 4.3%, according to the results of the first cycle cognitive gain score test obtained 0.44 in medium criteria, the results of the second cycle cognitive gain score test obtained 0.45 in medium criteria. The improvement of cognitive test was 0.01. Based on these comparisons, it was concluded that E-Book media with EPUB extension could improve student learning activities and outcomes. Abstract

Learning activity in education, especially in formal education that takes place in school, is an active interaction between teachers and students. Based on research in class VIII MTs Miftahul Ulum, student learning activity is still relatively low, students always be neutral toward student achievement that is achieved and also less than maximum. Mastery of learning and absorption in class VIII, respectively were: 58,83, 56,83% and 58,83%. This study used inquiri instruction model with the help of mind mapping on the subject of SPLDV Purpose to improve learning achievement. This research used classroom action research (PTK) with cycle models. Based on the results of the study, the classical mastery reached 77.50% ≥ 75%. While in cycle II, there were 20 students that had been completed individually and 6 students who had not achieved complete individually. Moreover, generally the total mean of the class reached 87.50≥75%. Implementation of research on cycle II was also completed. Keywords : Inquiry learning assisted mind mapping, learning achievement
