Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the need for developing video tutorials at Data Mining. This research is descriptive exploratory research. The subjects of this study were students of the Information Engineering Education Study Program in the Electronics Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Negeri Padang, 2016. Samples were randomly selected as many as 30 students. Data was collected using observation sheets in the lecture process of Data Mining and student questionnaires. The results of the observation show that the learning material in the Data Mining course is in the form of presentation slides/power points and handbooks/texts both face to face and e-learning. The results of the needs questionnaire analysis show that students need learning media that can guide them to be able to learn independently by repeating lessons anytime and anywhere in the form of learning media in the form of video tutorials.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether learning media with a computer-based branching program can improve learning outcome on Digital System Design course or not. IDI (Instruksional Development Institute) Reseacrh and Development (R&D) has been applied to develop program and to evaluate the effectiveness of learning media with a computer-based program branching on Digital System Design course. There are three stages in this research, defining, developing, and evaluating. Content validity of learning media with a computer-based program branching was found highly valid. Based on the learning outcomes, the effectiveness of learning media was found effective. More over,based on the teachers and the students response, itwas found that the learning media was found very highly practical. Based on the data analysis, it was found that learning media with a computer-based branchingprogram can improve the students' learning outcome on Digital System Design course.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the End User Computing Satisfaction variable on user satisfaction of the information system application. Recording and collection of customer water costs for PDAM Kota padang. This analysis uses independent variables, namely content, accuracy, format, easy of use, and timeliness. the application user satisfaction. Samples of this research are PDAM employees: billing, service, cashier, finance, IT and director directors and recording records. Samples were conducted using the proportionate stratified random method. Data collection was done by questionnaires distributed directly to respondents 78 questionnaires. Instead it was distributed to PDAM employees by measuring using a Likert scale after it was tested for validity and reliability. Data analyzed would use a questionnaire questionnaire. Samples were taken at PDAM Kota Padang. Statistical methods used Multiple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of the analysis of a data show: All instruments on EUCS simultaneously have an influence in recording and collection of water costs for PDAM customers. The use of EUCS has a significant effect on the recording and collection of customer water costs at PDAM Padang City.

Abstract

The research aims to provide broad access to education for people in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 through various higher education institutions that actively participate using the Blended Learning model. The long-term goal of this research is to develop innovative and flexible learning models based on Smart Classroom. System design in this study was developed to realize a balance between virtual teaching (virtual class) and face-to-face (physical class) that takes place at the same time using the Live Video Webcasting service. The research method uses a quantitative approach and the type of research is R & D adopting the Thiagarajan 4D development model. This research produces a Smart Classroom system based on Streaming Webcast through several stages, namely: (1) System Design, (2) System Creation, (3) System Testing. This developed system allows interaction in learning in the physical class as well as teaching in a virtual class remotely.Keywords: Revolusi Industri 4.0, Blended Learning, Smart Classroom, Live Video Webcasting.

Abstract

The resonant frequency of an antenna is determined by the dimensional parameters and permittivity of the antenna substrate. Generally, to get the resonant frequency, a complex mathematical formula is needed to solve. For this reason, an intelligent method is offered to determine the resonant frequency more easily. In this study, an artificial neural network method with Backpropagation algorithm is used to overcome the problem. The data used were consisting of 80 training data and 15 testing data. The results have shown that the artificial neural network learning method with the backpropagation algorithm was successfully utilized to calculate the resonant frequency of microstrip antennas, where the precision of the resonant frequency obtained of 93.33% at an error of ≤ 1%, and 100% at an error of ≤ 2%.

Abstract

This research is entitled "Digital Library Development in Information Technology and Computer Education Study Program (P.TIK) IKIP PGRI Pontianak". The type of research used is research and development (R & D). The development model used is ADDIE. The subject of product trials for the implementation of digital libraries in this study were semester VI students. For small group trials conducted on a limited number of 15 students, consisting of students who have high, medium and low abilities, and field trials were conducted on 32 students. The data collection tool used in this study was a questionnaire. From the results of the study for the results of the feasibility validation of digital library products by media experts, the average score of 3.53 criteria was very good. Results from material experts obtained an average of 3.58 on the criteria very well. While the results of librarian experts obtained an average of 3.54 on the criteria very well. For the results of the digital library trials which were carried out limitedly on 15 students of the ICT Study Program IKIP-PGRI Pontianak obtained an average of 3.43 on the criteria very well. For the results of the best response obtained by 3.39 than the criteria good. Conclusions from the results of validation, trials and responses prove that digital libraries are feasible to use and can assist students in supporting lectures.

Abstract

The University has a number of data relating to Academic and Higher Education Governance. The large amount of data that requires security, especially in terms of readiness to secure information systems. Maintaining information system security in the university environment aims to maintain confidentiality, fulfill the availability of the system for those who have authority for those who use it and the integrity of the system. The University of National Development "Veteran" Jakarta has work units such as the Faculty, UPT and Bureau where each has the task and function to manage data. The problem is the need to measure the level of information system security to see the maturity of an information system at UPN Veteran Jakarta. OUR Index stands for Information Security Index which is used as a tool to analyze and measure and evaluate the maturity level of information security with the application of SNI ISO / IEC 27001: 2009 standards that can be applied within government agencies. As for the KAMi index version used, namely version 3.1. The method used to solve the problems in OUR index is through six stages, namely the first stage of electronic systems, both information security governance, third information security risk management, the four information security management frameworks, the five asset information management and the six information security technologies. The results obtained after taking measurements using the US Index need improvement in system security in managing information security risks and governance.

Abstract

KRSBI Wheeled is One of the competitions on the Indonesian Robot Contest,. It is a football match that plays 3 robot full autonomous versus other teams. The robot uses a drive in the form of wheels that are controlled in such a way, to be able to do the work the robot uses a camera sensor mounted on the front of the robot, while for movement in the paper author uses 3 omni wheel so the robot can move in all directions to make it easier towards the ball object. For the purposes of image processing and input and output processing the author uses a Single Board Computer Raspberry PI 3 are programmed using the Python programming language with OpenCV image processing library, to optimize the work of Single Board Computer(SBC) Raspberry PI 3 Mini PC assisted by the Microcontroller Arduino Mega 2560. Both devices are connected serially via the USB port. Raspberry PI will process the image data obtained webcam camera input. Next, If the ball object can be detected the object's position coordinates will be encoded in character and sent to the Microcontroller Arduino Mega 2560. Furthermore, Arduino mega 2560 will process data to drive the motors so that can move towards the position of the ball object. Based on the data from the maximum distance test results that can be read by the camera sensor to be able to detect a ball object is ±5 meters with a maximum viewing angle of 120 °.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the activities carried out by humans that has a purpose as entertainment. Human who travel are referred to as tourist. West Sumatra Province is one of the regions with the best tourism is sea tourism and land tourism. Marine tourism consists of beach tourism, island tourism and lake tourism, while mainland tourism consists of tourist panorama, mountain tours, hill tours and others. However, only a portion of West Sumatra's tourist attractions are known to tourists, because of this information is obtained so that there are still many tourist attractions in West Sumatra unknown to tourists from outside the West Sumatra region. To overcome this problem, a system is needed that can be used to support the electoral decision-making process in West Sumatra. This system is built on the Web, using the PHP programming language and Laravel Framework and MySQL as a Database. The method used in this system is the Elimination of Et Choix Traduisant la Realite (ELECTRE). The use of Elimination Et Choix Traduisant la REalite (ELECTRE) can help provide information in West Sumatra, which is in accordance with the wishes of tourists according to the specified criteria. With the help of this system, the information obtained will make it easier for tourists to find tourist attractions.

Abstract

This research is motivated by One-way learning media using whiteboard media, presentation media such as power point media which causes students to decrease motivation to learn and improve student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to produce interactive multimedia products based on the Course Lab. This type of research is development research (Research and Development). This study uses the ADDIE Model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the development obtained by interactive multimedia based on Course Lab and the results of the study obtained Interactive Multimedia-based Course Lab validation worth 4.12 with the valid category. Thus it can be used as learning media. The test results practicalities of the subject teachers and students of the Interactive Multimedia Course Based Lab obtained with a level of practicality of the subject teachers at 4,17 on the category of practical and student responses on the Interactive Multimedia obtained at 4,01 on Practical category. And the effectiveness of the use of Interactive Multimedia Based Course Lab obtained from students' classical mastery level is 87,5% of Minimum Criterion Criterion (KKM) of 80.
