Abstract

Normative altruistic interactions are interactions between people who are motivated to help each other because of a sense of moral obligation. This interaction is based on the belief that people should help others, even if they do not receive anything in return. The mediating role of normative altruistic interactions is tested to fill the gap between Organizational Citizenship Behavior and its influence on managerial effectiveness. Using descriptive quantitative methods and a sample of 202 respondents consisting of managers at coal mining companies. Data analysis was carried out using AMOS Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), and the Sobel test was carried out. The results obtained were carried out with a Z score of 3,800, more than 1.96, one-way and two-way probabilities of 0.000, ? 0.05. The chi-square value is 1, 270 with df 1 (42–21) where the probability of a test difference of 25.97% means higher than 5% indicating the model is full mediation. The role of altruistic normative interaction variables is important in bridging the influence of Organizational Citizenship Behavior on managerial effectiveness. This effect is stronger if the normative altruistic interaction is high. Individuals who have high norms of altruism and norms of compliance will be more likely to perform. High standards of altruism and conformity will make people more willing to engage in organizational citizenship behavior which will ultimately increase managerial effectiveness

Abstract

This study evaluated the performance of a Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) model in classifying CT-Chest images of COVID-19 and non-COVID patients. The primary focus was to determine the influence of learning rate and batch size on the model's effectiveness. This research used 698 datas from Covid-19 and NonCovid-19 CT-Chest Image. Those dataset was obtained from medRxiv dan bioRxiv and has been approved by radiology expert in Tongji Hospital, China. In this research, COVID-16 dataset was classified by CNN with different batch sizes and learning rates for each iteration. Batch size used in this study were 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, and 128 with learning rates 0,00001; 0,0001; 0,001; 0,01; 0,1 and 1. This study found that this study showed that batch size and learning rate have a positive effect on CNN performance. The lower the learning rate, the lower the batch size will allow the network in the CNN model to perform better in classifying COVID-19 CT-Chest. In Addition, the best batch size for the classification is 64 with learning rate 0,01. These findings provided important insights into how parameters such as learning rate and batch size impacted the performance of the CNN model in classifying COVID-19 CT-Chest

Abstract

The scarcity of flash sales is one of the causes of the tendency of individuals to make higher impulse purchases. This study sought to investigate the direct connection between flash sales and impulsive purchases through arousal as a mediator among 160 Generation Z in South Kalimantan who had shopped for flash sales at e-commerce Shopee. This study used an explanatory approach with 160 respondents. The data analysis method makes use of SmartPLS 4.0's Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). This study reveals that limited quantity scarcity and arousal positively and significantly affect impulsive buying. In contrast, limited time scarcity has a positive but insignificant effect on impulsive buying. In addition, the study results show that limited quantity scarcity and limited time scarcity have a positive and significant impact on arousal. In contrast, limited quantity scarcity and limited time scarcity have an indirect effect on impulsive buying through arousal. The research provides managerial implications for business owners to focus on the scarcity of flash sales to create an arousal stimulus for consumers, which results in impulse buying. This research is expected to provide knowledge to business owners regarding product marketing strategies at Shopee that are used to support increased sales

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of Money Supply, Interest Rates and Exchange Rates on Inflation during the Covid-19 pandemic and see the differences in monetary policy responses during normal times and during the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The method used in this study is Markov Switching Autoregressive by Hamilton which is a model of combining Markov and Autoregressive chains that can explain structural changes in time series data. The variables used in this study are Inflation as the dependent variable and Jub, Interest Rates, and Exchange Rates as independent variables, and are processed using RStudio 4.2.1 and Eviews 10 software. The results show that in regime 1, Jub, Interest Rate, and Exchange Rate have no significant influence on Inflation. While in regime 2, Jub, Interest Rate, and Exchange Rate have a significant influence on Inflation. The response of monetary policy during normal times to the development of macroeconomic conditions, especially at the level of inflation, Jub, interest rates, and the rupiah exchange rate is that Bank Indonesia is aware of the risks that will occur in the macroeconomic balance in Indonesia by ensuring adequate liquidity, maintaining monetary and financial system stabilization so that stimulus in the economy can run effectively. Meanwhile, during the crisis period including the Covid-19 pandemic, Bank Indonesia has coordinated very closely with the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and also with the Government to formulate policies to mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic so that macroeconomic and financial system stability is well maintained to maintain the momentum of Indonesia's economic growth
