Abstract

Quiet quitting has become a critical issue in educational organizations because it shows teachers' psychological withdrawal while they remain formally present in the institution. Previous studies have mostly explained quiet quitting through workload, burnout, stress, leadership, and low work engagement. However, limited attention has been given to an Islamic educational human resource management model grounded in the Qur'an and Hadith. This study aims to identify the research gap, formulate Qur'anic and Prophetic principles for teacher management, and synthesize them into a conceptual model for responding to teacher quiet quitting. The study uses qualitative library research with a normative-conceptual approach. Primary data were drawn from selected Qur'anic verses and Hadith related to justice, human dignity, shura, amanah, competence, discipline, exemplary leadership, and consistency. Secondary data were obtained from Qur'anic exegesis, Islamic education management literature, and recent international studies on quiet quitting, teacher engagement, teacher well-being, and the Job Demands-Resources model. Data were analyzed through content analysis involving source selection, coding, categorization, interpretation, and conceptual synthesis. The findings show that quiet quitting among teachers is not only an individual motivation problem, but also a sign of weak organizational support, excessive demands, reduced meaning, and limited professional recognition. The proposed model integrates four dimensions: spiritual, humanistic, professional, and organizational. This model contributes to Islamic educational management by balancing spiritual meaning with fair workload, ethical leadership, teacher participation, competence development, and supportive institutional culture

Abstract

Plastic waste has become a major environmental issue due to its increasing generation and the limited effectiveness of waste management systems. In recycling activities, sorting plastic materials by color is essential because it influences both the quality and economic value of recycled products. However, plastic bottle caps in waste banks and small-scale recycling facilities are still commonly sorted manually, making the process labor-intensive, time-consuming, and often inconsistent. This study presents an embedded system for real-time sorting and counting of plastic bottle caps based on color using an ESP32 microcontroller and a TCS3200 color sensor. The developed system integrates a conveyor mechanism, five servo motors, five infrared sensors, and a 16×2 LCD functioning as a human–machine interface. Plastic bottle caps were classified into five color categories: red, yellow, green, blue, and white. System performance was evaluated through 500 integrated experimental trials, with each color category tested 100 times. During each trial, color detection, object sorting, counting, and data visualization were performed simultaneously. The TCS3200 sensor correctly identified 487 out of 500 samples, resulting in an average accuracy of 97.4%. No counting errors were observed during the experiments, yielding 100% accuracy for the infrared-based counting system, while all servo actuations operated successfully throughout the testing process. The counting values displayed on the LCD were fully consistent with the readings obtained from the infrared sensors. These findings indicate that low-cost embedded components can be effectively integrated to support automated sorting and counting applications. The developed system offers a practical solution for waste banks and small-scale recycling facilities and may contribute to improving operational efficiency and promoting sustainable plastic waste management

Abstract

Employee loyalty plays a crucial role in ensuring organizational sustainability and competitiveness. However, previous studies have reported inconsistent findings regarding the mediating role of job satisfaction in the relationship between work motivation and employee loyalty, while empirical evidence from Indonesia's poultry industry remains limited. This study aimed to examine the direct effect of work motivation on employee loyalty and the indirect effect through job satisfaction at PT Alido PS. A quantitative approach with an associative causal design was employed involving 101 employees selected through simple random sampling from a population of 200 employees. Data were collected using structured questionnaires and analyzed using path analysis, Sobel testing, and Variance Accounted For (VAF). The results revealed that work motivation significantly influenced job satisfaction (? = 0.662, p < 0.001) and employee loyalty (? = 0.418, p < 0.001), while job satisfaction also had a significant positive effect on employee loyalty (? = 0.422, p < 0.001). The indirect effect of work motivation on employee loyalty through job satisfaction was 0.279, with a Sobel test value of 4.11, confirming a significant mediation effect. The VAF value of 40% indicated partial mediation, while the coefficient of determination (R² = 0.768) showed that the proposed model explained 76.8% of the variance in employee loyalty. This study contributes to the human resource management literature by providing empirical evidence that job satisfaction partially mediates the relationship between work motivation and employee loyalty in the underexplored context of Indonesia's poultry industry. The findings also offer practical insights for organizations seeking to strengthen employee loyalty through integrated strategies that enhance both work motivation and job satisfaction.

Abstract

Public broadcasting organizations need an integrated human resource management system while adapting to the demands of digital broadcasting and public services. At TVRI Headquarters, preliminary institutional records show that 5 of the 18 planned training programs were not implemented, qualification-position mismatches remained in some units, and the selected indicators of commitment and cooperation were below the institutional target. Previous Indonesian studies have generally examined recruitment, selection, training, or placement separately and concentrated in the private sector, leaving limited evidence of their combined effects in public broadcasting. Therefore, this study examines the simultaneous and relative effects of the four practices on employee performance. A cross-sectional explanatory survey was conducted among 114 selected employees with simple random sampling from a population of 158; sample size is determined using the Slovin formula at an error tolerance of 5%. Data were collected using a five-point Likert instrument and analyzed by multiple linear regression at SPSS 26. The results showed that all independent variables, namely recruitment (X1), selection (X2), training (X3), and job placement (X4), had a positive and significant effect on employee performance (Y), both partially and simultaneously. Recruitment contributed 35.7% with a tcal value of 32,168 > ttable 1,982 and a significance of < 0.05. The selection contributed 45.0% with a tally of 9,673 > 1,982 tables. Training accounted for 43.3% with a tally of 9,338 > 1,982 tables. Meanwhile, job placement had an effect of 34.1% with a calculation of 7,705 > table 1,982 which were all significant of ? = 5%. Simultaneously, the four variables were able to explain the variation in employee performance by 62.9%, while 37.1% were influenced by other factors outside the research model. The F test yielded a Fcount of 48,814 > an Ftable of 2,450 with a significance of < 0.05, so H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that recruitment, selection, training, and job placement together have a positive and significant influence on the performance of TVRI Central Jakarta employees. These results show that effective and integrated human resource management is essential in improving employee performance optimally

Abstract

This study examines the influence of service quality and promotion on consumer purchase decisions at McDonald's Drive-Thru PTC Palembang, Indonesia. The increasing demand for fast-food drive-thru services has intensified competition among quick-service restaurants, making service quality and promotional strategies essential determinants of consumer purchasing behavior. A quantitative research approach was employed using primary data collected from 100 consumers through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, supported by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that service quality has a positive and significant effect on consumer purchase decisions (B = 0.112; t = 3.582; p = 0.001), while promotion exerts a stronger positive influence (B = 0.219; t = 5.567; p < 0.001). Simultaneously, both variables significantly affect purchase decisions (F = 354.011; p < 0.001), explaining 88.0% of the variance (R² = 0.880). These findings suggest that improving service performance while implementing effective promotional activities can strengthen consumers' purchasing intentions and enhance business competitiveness in the fast-food industry. The study provides practical insights for restaurant managers in developing customer-oriented marketing strategies and enriches the literature on consumer behavior within the context of drive-thru services
