Abstract

The food and beverage sub-sector is an integral part of the global economy and has a significant impact on economic growth. However, the COVID-19 pandemic has brought unprecedented challenges to this industry. It was recorded that in 2020, the Net Profit Margin of the food and beveerage sub-sector experienced a significant decline compared to the Net Profit Margin of other manufacturing sub-sectors. In this study, profitability is measured using Return on Assets (ROA). ROA is a ratio that shows the return on the total assets used in a company. ROA is also a measure of management's effectiveness in managing its investments. An analysis of Return on Assets (ROA) can provide valuable insights into understanding how working capital management in food and beverage sub-sector companies performed during the COVID-19 pandemic. In this context, ROA can provide an overview of how well companies were able to optimize their assets to generate profits, given the changes in market dynamics and challenges faced during the pandemic

Abstract

Consumer awareness of environmental issues has driven businesses to adopt green and digital marketing strategies to influence purchasing behavior. This study examined the impact of green marketing and digital marketing on impulsive buying, focusing on environmentally friendly product attributes, sustainability-focused promotions, social media engagement, and influencer endorsements. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 210 respondents through purposive sampling and analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The results showed that green marketing had a significant positive effect on impulsive buying (? = 0.742, p = 0.000), while digital marketing also significantly influenced impulsive buying (? = 0.342, p = 0.005). Moreover, the combined effect of green and digital marketing was statistically significant (F = 92.71, p = 0.000), with an R² value of 0.645, indicating that 64.5% of the variance in impulsive buying was explained by both variables. These findings suggest that integrating sustainability initiatives with digital engagement enhances impulsive purchasing tendencies. However, this study is limited by its sample characteristics and the exclusion of moderating factors such as financial constraints and brand loyalty. Future research should explore these aspects and assess the long-term impact of green and digital marketing on impulsive buying

Abstract

The block replacement process in the memory cache is an essential technique in computing systems to improve the efficiency of data retrieval from high-speed memory. Various caching algorithms have been developed to speed up data retrieval access in the memory cache, including Least Recently Used (LRU), Least Frequently Used (LFU), and First In First Out (FIFO). This study aims to develop a simulator by combining the LRU and LFU methods called Segmented Least Recently Used (SLRU), which is able to process data retrieval from the memory cache more efficiently. Experiments on the simulation program created were carried out on 10 random data groups to determine the effectiveness of each block replacement algorithm. Based on the test results, SLRU had the best performance, with an average hit ratio of 71.4%, followed by LRU (67%), LFU (62%), and FIFO, which showed the lowest hit ratio performance with a hit ratio of 55.8%. The advantage of SLRU lies in dividing cache segmentation into two segments: the probationary segment (LRU) and the protected segment (LFU). Based on the experiment results, it was concluded that SLRU has more efficient results in handling dynamic data access patterns than other algorithms.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of job stress on employee intention to remain and the mediating role of organizational commitment in the textile industry in Karanganyar Regency. The crisis in the textile sector, due to decreased export demand, import competition, and government policies, has an impact on organizational performance. This study uses an explanatory research design with a quantitative approach. The sample of 150 respondents was permanent employees of textile companies affected by the textile crisis in January-October 2024, selected using purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS. The results show that job stress negatively affects intention to remain and commitment, which means that low job stress increases employees' intention to stay and organizational commitment. Organizational commitment mediates the relationship between job stress and intention to remain, which means that the desire to stay in the company is high because it is driven by the high organizational commitment of employees

Abstract

Digital transformation in healthcare services has significantly improved public access to information. The Mobile JKN (National Health Insurance) application was developed to facilitate easier access to healthcare services. However, its effectiveness needs to be evaluated through sentiment analysis of user reviews on the Google Play Store. This study aims to determine user sentiment toward the Mobile JKN application using the Multinomial Naïve Bayes method, a commonly used classification technique in machine learning. The data was collected through web scraping and processed through several stages, including tokenization, stopword removal, and text normalization. Sentiment labels were then assigned using a lexicon-based approach, specifically the INSET lexicon, before classification. The analysis revealed that the majority of reviews expressed negative sentiment, particularly concerning application performance, technical issues, and healthcare service quality. The results also showed that the Multinomial Naïve Bayes model was able to classify the data with an accuracy of 81%. Therefore, the Mobile JKN application still requires technical improvements and service enhancements to provide a better user experience. This study offers valuable insights for developers and can serve as a foundation for policy-making to improve the quality of digital healthcare services

Abstract

Fraud in accounting records, particularly income inflation, poses a significant risk to companies, affecting credibility, investment decisions, and legal compliance. Despite using the double-entry system, financial statement manipulation can still occur, creating an illusion of higher profitability. This study explores how Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Accounting Information Systems can more effectively prevent income inflation and detect fraud than traditional methods. A case study of e-Fishery highlights AI’s role in identifying fraud through anomaly detection and automated general journal verification. AI-based audits, such as those using Isolation Forest, significantly improve efficiency by automating repetitive tasks and enabling real-time data analysis, reducing the time and resources required for audits. The research results indicate that 68% of respondents preferred the automated audit approach. The Isolation Forest algorithm resulted in a detection accuracy of 26%, while Autoencoder improved the accuracy to 33.6%. These findings demonstrate that AI in Accounting Information Systems enhances fraud prevention, improves financial reporting accuracy, and addresses challenges traditional methods fail to identify
