Abstract

Bangil District, Pasuruan Regency, there are things that need to be discussed related to Good Governance, for example service procedures that are too complicated, there is no certainty of time and price, so public access to services is quite difficult. Such things are elements that will damage the professionalism of employees and agencies because they are examples of poor work effectiveness in an organization and will ultimately affect public services. The method used in this research is a descriptive quantitative method with the help of SPSS version 26, the data collected is questionnaire data totaling 60 respondents. The results of the research conducted show that the variables have a simultaneous influence but only two variables have a significant influence, namely Professionalism and Work Effectiveness in Public Services. Meanwhile, Good Governance partially has an insignificant effect on Public Services.

Abstract

Telepresence is a concept currently popular among marketers and buyers in the current era. However, it is also possible that telepresence has shortcomings, including technical limitations, limited content, and content that is deemed inappropriate. Another problem arises from consumers, for example, many consumers still cannot interpret the concept of telepresence. This study aims to analyze the relationship between variables consisting of telepresence, shopping orientation, trust, enjoyment, and impulsive buying. This study meets the criteria of causality-based explanatory research. The sampling technique for this study was taken incidentally, totaling 200 respondents. This study uses primary data directly from respondents who answered a questionnaire via Google Form. Statistical testing of this study will be conducted using smart-PLS. The results of this study indicate a positive and significant relationship between telepresence and shopping orientation, trust, and enjoyment. Furthermore, there is a positive and significant relationship between trust and impulsive buying, while shopping orientation and trust have a positive but insignificant relationship to impulsive buying. This study encourages e-commerce platforms to innovate further in telepresence use. Future research should compare impulsive buying across platforms, as user responses and engagement may vary.

Abstract

The Bogor City Manpower Office (Disnaker) is a government agency responsible for assisting the Mayor of Bogor in implementing regional authority in the fields of employment and transmigration. This study aims to analyze the effect of competence on employee performance, with motivation as a moderating variable. The research employed a quantitative approach using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique and involved 155 respondents. The SEM analysis consisted of the normality test, validity test, reliability test, moderation test, hypothesis testing, and goodness-of-fit evaluation. The results show that competence has a significant positive influence on employee performance (p = 0.000; C.R. = 4.127), supporting H1. Meanwhile, motivation does not have a significant direct effect on employee performance (p = 0.202; C.R. = –1.276), leading to the acceptance of H2. However, motivation significantly strengthens the relationship between competence and performance (p = 0.015; C.R. = 2.441), thereby rejecting H3. The model fit indices (?² = 93.77; RMSEA = 0.08; CFI = 0.91; TLI = 0.89) indicate that the SEM model demonstrates acceptable structural validity. These findings confirm that competence is a key driver of employee performance and that motivation enhances its effectiveness. Therefore, developing both competence and motivational support is essential for improving performance in public sector institutions.

Abstract

In the era of growing competition among higher education institutions, vocational colleges must build a distinctive brand image that highlights entrepreneurship. Wilmar Business Indonesia Polytechnic (WBI) in Medan represents a case of how vocational institutions develop an entrepreneurial-based brand identity. Although every institution has its own uniqueness, challenges often arise in communicating it effectively to the public. This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by WBI in shaping an entrepreneurial brand image as a vocational institution. Building such an image requires consistent communication strategies, adequate resources, and public understanding of vocational education. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation involving management, lecturers, and students. The results show that key challenges include limited marketing communication resources, weak integration of entrepreneurial values into promotional messages, and low public awareness of vocational education advantages. External challenges also stem from public perceptions that favor academic universities over polytechnics. Theoretically, this research contributes to higher education branding literature by applying the DRIP Model (Differentiate, Reinforce, Inform, Persuade) to vocational entrepreneurship education. Practically, it offers strategic insights for vocational institutions to design consistent, value-based communication strategies that strengthen competitiveness and stakeholder engagement.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of e-commerce in Indonesia has made online reviews and brand cues important sources of information for consumers. This study examines how online reviews and brand awareness can influence the purchase intention of Shopee users in Solo, with trust assessed as a mediating variable. Using data from 100 respondents analyzed through the PLS-SEM method, the results show that online review ( and brand awareness (significantly increase purchase intention, supported by a strong R-square value of 0.779, which indicates that this research model has strong predictive power. However, trust () does not significantly affect purchase intention and does not mediate the relationship between the independent variables and purchase intention. Theoretically, this study contributes to the understanding of digital consumer behavior by showing the limited mediating role of trust in established e-commerce platforms. Practically, the findings indicate that improving review quality and strengthening brand identity can be more effective strategies than relying on trust building alone.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of Accounting Information Systems (AIS) and Human Resources (HR) on the quality of financial reports through the mediating role of internal control at PT XYZ, a company engaged in construction and IoT-based technology. The research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. Data were collected from all 88 employees involved in the financial reporting process using a structured questionnaire. The analysis was conducted with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) using SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that HR significantly influences both internal control and the quality of financial reports, while AIS significantly affects internal control and financial report quality. Internal control itself positively and significantly impacts financial report quality. Furthermore, internal control was found to mediate the relationship between HR and financial report quality as well as between AIS and financial report quality. These findings highlight the importance of competent HR, reliable AIS, and effective internal control in ensuring the quality of financial reports. This study contributes to the literature by clarifying mixed empirical evidence from previous research and offers practical implications for companies to strengthen internal control systems and human capital development to enhance financial reporting quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of service price, registration process, and network quality on IndiBiz customer satisfaction in Pangkalpinang, with customer trust as a mediating variable. IndiBiz services, which are intended for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), face challenges in terms of price, administrative requirements, and network quality that influence customers' decisions to continue using these services. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method to test the relationship between variables. The results show that service price and network quality significantly influence customer trust, while registration requirements have no significant direct influence on satisfaction. Customer trust proved to be a very strong mediating variable in bridging the influence of independent variables on customer satisfaction. These findings confirm that strategies to increase customer satisfaction should focus on building trust through the provision of quality services, fair prices, and ease of administration, in order to create loyalty and repeat subscription intentions among MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of a tourism village development program in relation to increasing Regional Original Income (PAD) in Bone Bolango Regency. The research focuses on three main aspects: tourism destination management, tourism human resource development, and the contribution of tourism villages to PAD. Furthermore, this study examines supporting and inhibiting factors in program implementation, including local government policy support, community involvement, limited human resources, and infrastructure availability. The research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, where data is obtained through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that the implementation of the tourism village development program in Bone Bolango Regency still faces several obstacles, including limited human resource capacity, uneven supporting infrastructure, and disparities in development between tourism villages. However, support from local government policies, community involvement through the Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) and Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes), and the unique natural and cultural tourism potential are significant driving factors.
