Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of training, compensation, and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT Vemrer Jaya Abadi Medan. The decline in employee performance is due to employee training, work compensation that is not in accordance with low employee work discipline. The sample in this study amounted to 72 employees. The research method uses multiple linear regression analysis techniques. The conclusion in this study shows that partially Training, Work Compensation and Work Discipline have a positive and significant effect on the Employee Performance of PT Vemrer Jaya Abadi Medan. Simultaneously Training, Work Compensation and Work Discipline have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance of PT Vemrer Jaya Abadi Medan

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT United Rope. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the effect of Price, Service Quality and Promotion on Purchasing Decisions of Multifilament Tate at PT United Rope. There is a decrease in purchasing decisions caused by Price, Service Quality and Promotion. This research approach is based on a quantitative approach. The population in this study amounted to 214 customers and the number of samples in the study were 139 customers. The sampling technique used was random sampling. The results of the calculation of the partial hypothesis testing showed that the price had a positive and significant effect on the purchasing decision of the multifilament tate at PT United Rope. The results of the calculation of the partial hypothesis testing obtained that service quality has a positive and significant effect on the multifilament tate purchasing decision at PT United Rope. The results of the calculation of the partial hypothesis testing obtained that promotion has a positive and significant effect on the purchasing decision of the multifilament tate at PT United Rope. The results of the calculation of hypothesis testing simultaneously obtained that price, service quality and promotion have a positive and significant effect on multifilament tate purchasing decisions at PT United Rope. The coefficient of determination test results obtained an Adjusted R Square value of 0.381, this means 38.1% of the variation in the dependent variable, namely the purchase decision which can be explained by the variation of the independent variable while the rest is 61.9% (100% - 38.

Abstract

The development of technology in education namely Blended learning adds convenience for students and lecturers in the learning process. This is because blended learning can be done online and remotely. Therefore blended learning is very useful for employee class students in the course process because the schedule of national university employee class meetings is not the same as a regular class. Blended learning becomes one of the alternative learning solutions for the employee class. The blended learning used in this study is Google classroom. Google Classroom is a learning app issued by Google that provides easy access through computers and mobile phones that are very useful for students and lecturers in the learning process. The purpose of this study is to describe blended learning, know google classes as an alternative to learning, and know the effectiveness of using google classroom against the class of employees. Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. United Rope. The porpuse of this study was to test and analyze the influence of Product Quality, Distribution Channels and Personal Selling on polythene Rope Customer Loyalty at PT.United Rope. There is a decrease in customer loyalty caused by customer loyalty. The approach of this reseach is based on a quantitive approach. The population in this study amounted to 217 customers. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. The number of samples in this study were 144 customers. The results of calculation of hypothesis testing partially Product Quality has a positive and significant effect on Polythene Rope Customer Loyalty at PT. United Rope. Partially Distribution Channels have a positive and significant effect on Polythene Rope customer loyalty at PT, United Rope. Partially Personal Selling has a positive and significant effect on Polythene Rope Customer Loyalty at PT. United Rope. Simultaneously Product Quality, Distribution Channels and Personal Selling have a positive and significant effect on Polythene Rope Costumer Loyalty at PT. United Rope. The coefficient of determination test result obtained am adjusted R Square value of 0.42, in dependent variable, namely customer loyalty, can be expalined by the variation of the idependent variabels, while the remaining 58% is explained by other variables not examined in this study, such as quality, brand awareness, service and others

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of recruitment, training, and supervision. This type of research is explanatory research. The entire population is 211 employees. Due to a large number of population, the sampling technique will be reduced by using the Slovin formula with an error tolerance level of 5% so that there are as many as 138 respondents in the study which will be distributed with questionnaires measured by a Likert scale. The data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination as well as simultaneous test and partial test. The results showed that recruitment, training, and supervision partially and simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Based on the results of this study, the implications for management are to further improve the recruitment process, better training program, and better supervision.

Abstract

This study was to find out and analyze the Coronavirus Pandemic Against Economic Sustainability of traders in Medan City. The method used in data analysis in solving this problem was a qualitative descriptive analysis. It formulated and interpreted data and information obtained from research objects by collecting, compiling, and interpreting data. The data was processed by the steps of making a data analysis plan, processing, analyzing, interpreting, and summarizing the data. In conducting the analysis, the data was collected by observations, interviews, and documentation. The research result showed that the impact of Coronavirus Pandemic on the Economic Sustainability of traders in Medan, it decreased sales as a result of the large number of people who did not dare to go out so that the visitors of Medan's market center became quiet. The instruction from the local government to limit the schedule for visitors to come to the center of the market resulted in reduced direct trader’s income. The conditions caused the comfort of the community disturbed and the number of people who worked from home by agencies resulted in reduced of community activities outside the home so that the impact on the condition of a market center was so quiet.

Abstract

Currently, the entry of financial transaction data that is taking place at PT. Sky Alloys International is done manually by financial staff. Financial transactions can only be done on a computer at PT. Sky Alloys International only, so if the financial staff or the person concerned is outside PT. Sky Alloys International, so it cannot make transactions. This is an obstacle for managers, because these data are very important to know the current financial situation at PT. Sky Alloys International. Seeing the problems that occur, it is necessary to make petty cash accounting applications and bank transactions that can help the work of the finance department and managers in viewing financial information. In this application there are accounting logics used to calculate transactions and balances of the account used. The results of this application are financial reports shown to the manager. In the end, this application can help the work of the finance department in entering transactions and managers in viewing financial reports.

Abstract

One of the functions of taxes is to regulate and implement government policies in the social and economic fields and be used for the prosperity of the people, so the revenue must be maximized. Phenomenon of State Budget Revenues and Expenditures (APBN) up to December 26, 2019 in Indonesia, tax revenues reached Rp 1,266.65 trillion or 80.29% of the 2019 State Budget target of Rp 1,577.6 trillion or there was a difference of 19.71% from the target, there is a downward trend, so this must be considered by the handling system by the tax authorities. Some variables that are thought to influence tax avoidance by taxpayers include; Proportion of Independent Board of Commissioners, Institutional Ownership with Profitability as Mediation Variable and Company Size as Moderation Variable. In general, this study aims to examine, analyze whether the Proportion of Independent Commissioners, Institutional Ownership can partially influence Tax Avoidance, and how much direct, indirect influence through the profitability variable, and whether Company Size can strengthen it. Specifically this research aims to provide advice on the management of property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2018 period, in terms of how to minimize tax payments. The population in this study is the property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2014-2018 period. The sample in this study uses a purposive sampling method obtained as many as 75 companies that meet the criteria. Variables consist of five variables: Proportion of Independent Commissioners, Institutional Ownership as an independent variable, Profitability becomes a mediating variable, and Company Size as a moderating variable, while Tax Avoidance as a variable bound. The method of data analysis is done by hypothesis testing (t-test), path analysis, and moderating variable tests using MRA (Moderated Regression Analysis)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Organizational Culture, Leadership Style, and Competence on the Performance of Public High School Teachers in East OKU. The implementation of this research for 3 (three) months includes designing, implementing and reporting the results of research. The study was conducted at SMA Negeri Timur OKU. In this study the total population was 70 people consisting of 30 people as a trial sample and 40 people as a research sample. Sampling in this study using a census sampling technique that is taking the sample as a whole from the total population. Based on the results of data analysis obtained regression coefficients for the regression coefficient variables for Organizational Culture variables of 0.269 with a significance level of 5%, Leadership Style by 0.304 with a significance level of 5%, regression coefficients for the Competence variable by 0.422 with a significance level of 5%, while insertion constant value of 13,856. Furthermore, the coefficient of the variable obtained by Organizational Culture is 0.269 with a significance of 5%, the Leadership Style variable with Teacher Performance is 0.305 with a significance level of 5%, the correlation coefficient for the Competency variable is 0.423 with a significance level of 5%, while the correlation coefficient (R) of 0.626 or 62.6% which means it has a very strong relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable, also obtained a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.757 This value can be interpreted that the large percentage of the influence of the variables of Leadership Style, Organizational Culture and Competence together with Teacher Performance 75.70%. In other words, the effective contribution of Organizational Culture, Leadership Style, and competence to the Performance of Teachers of Public High Schools in East OKU is 75.70% while the remaining 24.30% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.The conclusion of this study is that senior high school leaders in East OKU are advised to continuously improve their Organizational Culture, Leadership Styles and Competencies so that with their self-awareness together they always strive to achieve the goals that have been set together.
