Abstract

The era of globalization and information will have created new standards that must be met by all players in this sector, no exception in the health care sector. The increasingly rapid development of technology also has an impact on all layers of business, whether it be a company, an institution, or an agency that is large or small in scale so that the information system supported by proper data processing is proven to be able to accelerate performance which in the end will generate great benefits for society. This study aims to determine the design description of the information system for dental services at the UPT Puskesmas Talagabodas Bandung. The research methods used in this study are qualitative research methods and data collection techniques, by means of observation, interviews, and web searches. Meanwhile, the software development method used is the waterfall method. From the research that has been carried out, it was found that there are several problems related to the service of polygene patients, (1) Patient care for polygygies is still done manually so that it consumes a lot of time. (3) There is no report for the reference given. Solutions to problems that exist in the current system, including: (1) The need for the development of information systems and data sources regarding information systems services, especially in polygyny services such as the information system that the author designed. (2) It is better if a centralized storage system is to be carried out in order to make it easier to control recorded documents and integrate them with other services (3) Consider and develop a back-up information system to meet each patient's need for service-service activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of price, location, store atmosphere and promotion on buying interest at Maju Bersama Medan Mall. This type of research is explanatory research. The entire population is 26,645 consumers who have made purchases during the 2019 period. Due to the large number of population, the sampling technique will be reduced by using the Slovin formula with an error tolerance level of 10% so that there are as many as 100 respondents in the study which will be distributed with questionnaires measured by a Likert scale. The data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis and the coefficient of determination as well as simultaneous test and partial test. The results showed that price, location, store atmosphere and sales promotion partially or simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on consumer buying interest at Maju Bersama Medan Mall. Based on the results of this study, the implications for management are to further improve pricing for each product, determine a better location, update the store atmosphere to make it look attractive and provide even more attractive promotions.

Abstract

The development of Information Technology (IT) which is so fast lately, has an impact on services in the library. Library is an institution that plays a role in collecting, processing and distributing information which prioritizes search engines as a means of retrieving information. The rapid development of technology has made us co-exist with information technology itself. Now many library users have started to abandon the manual method of searching for information that takes a long time in the search process, and switch to using the Information Retrieval System that is on the network. Catalogs for some people are obsolete objects that are rarely used for information retrieval, but along with technological developments, online catalogs are now available that can be accessed via electronic devices, such as computers or smartphones called OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog). The impact is if there is no information retrieval system (OPAC), then searching for documents in the library will be more difficult because users have to browse directly to the shelf without first searching the OPAC. The Library of STMIK Pelita Nusantara is one of the higher education libraries in Medan, where the library information data collection is still manual, namely library users who come, often directly looking for collections on the shelf, or by asking library staff for help to find the desired book. From the background of the problem above, the writer is interested in taking the title of research on the Use of OPAC as a Means of Retrieving Information in the Library of STMIK Pelita Nusantara.

Abstract

Sinusitis is a disease of the nose, which occurs due to inflammation of the sinuses due to allergies or infection with viruses, bacteria or fungi. Sinusitis can occur in any of the four sinuses (maxillary, etmoidalis, frontalis, sphenoidalis). The most common causes of sinusitis are due to viral infections. Often times it is caused by a cold or flu virus that is spread by the sinuses from the upper respiratory tract. After a cold or flu, secondary bacterial infection can occur. This will cause the walls of the sins to become inflamed or inflamed. An infected tooth can also make the sinuses infected. A doctor can diagnose sinusitis by looking at the symptoms that occur. For example, nasal congestion or runny nose with facial pain. If the sinusitis is severe or recurs, You are advised to see an ENT specialist (ear, nose, throat). These specialists will try to find the main cause of sinusitis that occurs. CT scans can also be used to find out the cause of sinusitis. Therefore, an expert system application was made using the forward chainy method to diagnose sinusitis. This system application is a system that helps doctors (experts) and the public in diagnosing sinusitis with symptoms felt by users. an expert system application was made using the forward chainy method to diagnose sinusitis. Abstract

The transmission of information from one place to another is mostly constrained by the security problems of the information itself. Moreover, this information is very confidential, so not just anyone can open it. One of the ways that can be done to hide confidential information is by using cryptographic techniques, namely by encoding the information using certain algorithms. The second way is to insert the information into certain media, such as digital images or audio, so that the information will be hidden and what will appear is the media only, while the information is disguised. In this study, the comparison of the Spread Spectrum steganography algorithm with the Redundant Pattern Coding algorithm to secure text messages in audio files. The data used are audio files with a size between 200 Kb to 265 Kb and text with a size of 50 bytes to 275 bytes. The experimental results obtained stego audio files from the insertion of the Spread Spectrum algorithm with an average PSNR value of 41,138 db and for the Redundant Pattern Coding algorithm the average PSNR value was 29,885 db.
