Abstract

With theThis study aims to develop a web-based seminar management information system and determine the quality level of the developed web-based seminar management information system, while the research method used in this study is Research and Development (R&D) with a waterfall development model that refers to software engineering principles. The stages that are passed are communication (communication), planning (planning), modeling (modeling), construction (construction), and distribution (deployment). Software quality analysis is carried out by adopting the ISO 25010 standard, namely aspects of functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability, and portability. The results of this study are 1) the seminar management information system was built using the PHP programming language and the Postgre database. The frameworks used are CodeIgniter and Admin LTE (Bootstrap). This information system has 7 user levels, namely administrator, committee (committee), reviewer, main speaker (presenter), second speaker (non-presenter), participant (audience), and visitor (guest). 2) the results of the analysis of software quality by adopting the ISO 25010 standard are as follows (1) function suitability aspects with 100% success; (2) the aspect of performance efficiency obtained a Yslow score of 92.97 (grade A); (3) the compatibility aspect can run well on the 4 tested web mails (4) the usability aspect obtained a raw SUS score of 73.00, acceptability ranges with acceptable results, grade scale with C results, and adjective ratings with good results (5) reliability aspects with 100% result; (6) security aspect with the result that the security vulnerability is at level 1 (low); (7) the maintainability aspect with the results of the maintainability index 90.81 (high category) (8) the portability aspect can run well on the 5 web browsers tested.

Abstract

Many diseases are caused by bacteria, some of which can be easily noticed by ordinary people for immediate treatment. However, not with this one disease, namely sexually transmitted infections (STIs). This STI disease can be spread mainly through sexual intercourse, both vaginal, anal and oral sex. Some STI diseases can also be transmitted in non-sexual ways, such as through needles, blood or other blood products. Indonesia is one of the countries whose handling can be said to be not optimal as in several other countries. This is the result of a lack of education on STI diseases in the community. Based on this background, it can be concluded that there is a need for an intelligent system to classify STI diseases based on their symptoms. Therefore, the authors propose this research topic by applying the Artificial Neural Network method. Based on the test results, the application of the Artificial Neural Network method shows that 80% of the predicted data is in accordance with the actual data.

Abstract

The need for real-time information is very important, to get it quickly and even in real time it must be supported by a fast and stable internet network connection. In addition, it must also be able to protect the network connection from all kinds of threats that can interfere with the connectivity of the connection. In implementing the firewall within the company, the concern is the device used, because the implementation of the firewall on each device is different. Utilization of this firewall is used to filter data packets that will enter the network, using the ACL feature. By using ACL data filtering can be done or as a site blocker that is considered unnecessary to be accessed by all clients on the local network. In addition, as security in the local network, the logical division of network groups can be applied using VLANs, the application of VLANs is found on Catalist Switches or Multilayer Switches. As a security for the physical path of the VLAN connection, a special physical connection path is given to important network devices, so that if there is a down or disconnected physical path, it does not interfere with other VLAN connections

Abstract

This study aims to describe online learning during the Covid19 pandemic as a learning strategy and learning outcomes for eight grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Lintongnihuta. This study uses a qualitative method, the informant of this research is eight grade. The data collection of this research was done through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction data compilation and categorization. The results of this study are as follows: (1) Online learning is carried out online by planning and implementing the planning to make evaluation materials and social media while the implementation is to distribute materials and assignments to WhatsApp groups and students who do not have mobile phones take questions to school. The teacher comes to the student's house. In addition, the teacher also makes lesson plans for online learning (2) Learning strategies as online learning plans use learning approaches and models to achieve learning objectives. The approach is to explain the material through videos, students who offline learn the material from the LKS the method is that the teacher makes a video explaining the material and then sends it via WhatsApp. Online is done every day, the collection of assignments is in accordance with the teacher's agreement. The media uses photos or videos, students collect their assignments via a Google form link. The material comes from textbooks and worksheets and is in accordance with basic competencies, and then the teacher makes questions as learning evaluations. (3) student learning outcomes show that not all students can undergo online learning and student learning outcomes are not all achieved due to various factors such as students not having a mobile phone or WhatsApp application, internet signals that are difficult to reach because students' homes are in the village, students' awareness of their responsibilities in doing assignments is still lacking and parental awareness and environmental conditions are less supportive so that student learning outcomes are less than optimal.

Abstract

The information and communication development technology continues relentlessly. Especially when it comes to knowledge, data plays a significant role. In this case, one of the services obtained from the internet is website access. There is a wide variety of  information provided by the website, one of which is the job opening website. Many people searching for work have difficulty because the information provided by the concerned often makes applicants disappointed because of the delay in data that has not mentioned the number of requirements needed. This study explores user responses to website containing job openings in one particular Toba district.  Designing a web-based job application using the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database became a solution for the problem. The application for a job search in Toba Regency itself has never existed. This application can simplify job seekers to find job vacancies information and the employers can add job vacancies. The application development model used is the waterfall method. We chose this method because this method provides sequential and systematic development steps in developing software. The waterfall stages used in this website consist of communication, planning, modeling, and construction.

Abstract

This study aims to group the positive symptoms of covid-19 in Indonesia based on coronavirus symptom data. Some symptoms are characteristic of a person contracting positive coronavirus, usually causing respiratory infections, ranging from the common cold to serious diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). Like other respiratory diseases, COVID-19 can cause mild symptoms including colds, sore throats, coughs, and fevers. There are 14 main symptoms obtained from Indonesia's COVID-19 detention task force. The data was taken in August 2021. For grouping cases, this study used the K-Means Clustering method by using R studio software to analyze the data. After grouping, there are 3 groups of positive symptoms of covid-19 in Indonesia. Positive symptom grouping results are expected to provide feedback to policymakers to see which symptom groups need to take precedence.
