Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of an interesting phenomenon that occurs in society today. Such as acts of terrorism that often occur in society, one of which is by carrying out suicide bombings as an implementation of jihad. The series of actions by the western media was manipulated and disseminated that the actions of the Muslims were an act of resistance by Muslims against non-Muslims. As a result, the meaning of jihad experiences a narrowing. Wahbah Az-Zuhaili in his book wants to explain that jihad does not have a narrow meaning like the understanding of most people, especially terrorist perpetrators. The understanding that has led to terrorism includes Fundamentalism, which is a view that is upheld on beliefs, religious, political, and cultural. Also, religious schools of thought tend to interpret religious texts rigidly and literally (textually). Other views such as radicalism, extremism, and separatism also tend towards terrorism. This has led to many deviations from the true meaning of jihad. According to Wahbah Az-Zuhaili, acts of terrorism are very contrary to the teachings of Islam, such as causing damage everywhere, creating panic, and spreading fear among the people. He explained that jihad and terrorism are different things because terrorism has the connotation of all attacks, intimidation, destruction, or violations of the interests of the state without any rights, without ceasefire or declaration of war. Whereas jihad is carried out based on rights, jihad has consequences for the existence of rights, while terrorism will have consequences for the absence of rights. According to him, the greatest jihad in Islam and the greatest is with ideas and dialogue, not by violence and acts of war. And there are many other meanings of jihad.

Abstract

Kajian tentang pendidikan multikultural, kaitannya dengan penguatan paham moderasi di pesantren penting dilakukan, mengingat Pendidikan Islam di berbagai lembaga pendidikan ditengarai belum mencapai pada substansi penghayatan nilai keagamaan dan praktik keagamaan pluralis-multikultural. Fenomena tersebut sangat berpengaruh pada tumbuhnya sikap ekslusif dan fanatisme buta, bahkan cenderung “radikal” bagi anak didik. Sistem pendidikan integralistik, humanis, toleran dan moderat di negara kita, sebenarnya telah ada sejak dulu yaitu pondok pesantren. Oleh karena itu, penelitian tentang pendidikan multikultural dalm penguatan paham moderasi dengan mengambil kasus yang terjadi di Ma’had Aly PPSS Situbondo ini penting dilakukan. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan, bahwa penerapan pendidikan multikultural dilakukan melalui dua cara, yaitu: Pertama internalisasi nilai, tahap additive level (penambahan) dan tahap transformative level (perubahan). Kedua pola transformasi dimensi nilai, meliputi: (1). Conten Integration (integrasi budaya); (2). The Knowladge Construction Process (Konstruksi budaya dalam pengetahuan); (3) An equality of Pedagogment (penyesuaian metode pembelajaran); (4). Culturally Sensitive Teaching Strategies; (interaksi dalam pengajaran); dan (5). Prejudice Reduction in Instructional.

Abstract

This study found that waqf is a form of worship that contains a distinct benefit. The distinction of waqf is that its object is permanent and its benefits continue to flow for the benefit of Islamic preaching and the economic improvement. Waqf is not only in the form of immovable objects but also includes all handy objects. This is in accordance with the words of the Prophet, "hold on to the point and give the result." So far, waqf has only been managed traditionally. It needs restoration so that becomes professional, and becomes a potential and useful asset for the benefit of Muslims. Waqf in the history has contributed to Muslim civilization. Waqf as a medium for Islamic preaching (dakwah), such as mosques, universities, and schools because it will becomes the glory of Islam as rahmatal lil 'alamin. Waqf also has a function as a medium for improving the economy of Muslims, because a very urgent need is property to meet the needs of life. Meanwhile, what people face today is poverty. One of them is waqf which is managed productively and professionally. Fourteen centuries ago, the Prophet said, "almost poverty has fallen into disbelief". Therefore, it is necessary to change the mindset or rejuvenate that Islam is not synonymous with poverty and backwardness. So, it is inappropriate for Muslims to live in an Islamic country in poverty even if they are kafir dzimmi (kafir who has the protection in Islamic country).

Abstract

Ondel-ondel is a cultural performance of the Betawi people passed down from generation to generation. However, the problem that occurs is that along with the development of the era, ondel-ondel is no longer a sacred object and is no longer used for ritual offerings and the loss of cultural values of the ancestors. The purpose of making this journal is to find out the shift in the meaning of the ondel-ondel cultural myth to the beliefs of the people of Jakarta. The method used in this study uses a qualitative approach and data collection techniques use interview techniques, observation and analysis of various journals or literature studies. The subject of this research was conducted on 4 people, namely a number of the Jakarta community about their views on the shift in the meaning of the myth of ondel-ondel art. In this day and age, ondel-ondel shows are very easy to find, especially on roadside areas in Jakarta. Unlike the old days, ondel-ondel was only displayed when there were certain events such as a traditional Betawi wedding. The result of this research is that there are differences and shifts in the meaning of ondel-ondel cultural myths. In ancient times ondel-ondel was only displayed during certain events. And people in ancient times tend to still believe in the existing ondel-ondel cultural myths. Unlike the current era, ondel-ondel is used as a means of getting money. The benefit of this research is to find out what values have been lost from previous cultures and be able to take good positive values taught in previous cultures without taking the negative values found in the past culture. It is enough to make historical knowledge to remember existing history. This study concludes that there has been a shift in meaning in the myth of ondel-ondel culture and sadly it occurs due to the pressure of economic factors.

Abstract

The learning strategy is one of the important components in Islamic education learning. In embedding religious values, a competitive learning strategy is needed so that the objectives of Islamic Education can be realized. SMP Alam Banyuwangi Islamic School is one of the education institutions that apply a special system in learning with a boarding school approach. Through a philosophical approach, this research focuses on uncovering the types of learning strategies at SMP Alam Banyuwangi Islamic School and their implementation in learning in the context of cultivating religious values. The researcher chooses the type of qualitative research in presenting the data according to the research focus with historical, philosophical and theological approaches descriptively. Based on the data and analysis in this research, it can be concluded that Islamic education learning strategy in SMP Alam Banyuwangi Islamic School uses a Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) approach based on multiple intelligence with the category of student-centered learning strategies (Student Center Strategies). In addition, in the process, the implementation of Islamic education learning strategy at SMP Alam Banyuwangi Islamic School is actualized in three stages of learning. They are: pre instructional in the form of a learning design formatted in the RPP PAI material, vision, and mission of SMP Alam Bnyuwangi Islamic School; learning activities use the actualized R.U.P.E system with several activity formats; and the evaluation also uses the R.U.P.E system, whose assessment accumulates all learning activities that have been designed at SMP Alam Banyuwangi Islamic School.

Abstract

The background of this research is the phenomenon that occurs in the Indonesian society that shows the gap between das sein and das sollen. Evidenced by the destruction, rejection, and burning of houses of worship. Rules should bring benefit to all people, not only to the majority. The rejection of the majority community towards the establishment of the Synagogue is a sign that there is a possibility of errors in the regulations or the community. The method used is the library method. The results of this study are the development of the houses of worship regulations can be grouped into two models. The first model is to detail or complete the previous regulations, which are in the licensing, monitoring and conflict resolution items. The second model is to bring up new regulations that did not exist in the previous regulations, namely in the presence of the religious harmony forum (FKUB) items and sources of funds, temporary houses of worship, temporary permits for building utilization, and transition mechanisms. While the second formulation produced Maqashid Al-Shari'ah's views on the development of the houses of worship regulations can be categorized into three groups. The first category is Dharuriyat, namely: the establishment of houses of worship and the formation of the religious harmony forum (FKUB). The second category is Hajiyat, the main purpose of making regulations on houses of worship is the realization of religious harmony under the auspices of the religious harmony forum (FKUB). They are: Supervision, Reporting and Resolution of conflicts. The third category is Tahsiniyat, if this regulation is not enforced it will not interfere with the realization of the main objective. This regulation is in the form of: Temporary Worship House, Temporary Permit for Building Utilization and Transition Mechanism for Worship.

Abstract

The da’wah method of KHR. Syamsul Arifin and KHR. As'ad Syamsul Arifin in instilling aqidah Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An-Nahdliyah using Syair Aqaid Saeket and how to make it exist untill now are the interesting and necessary topic for this research. With qualitative method that focuses on content analysis and empirical data, the results of the study is concluded as follows: First, Syair Aqaid saeket is a beautiful verse written by two Ulama which contains fifty aqaid, the names of the Prophets, the book of Allah, Malaikat, the pillars of Islam and the pillars of Islamic faith which is a completed-enough summary of aqidah Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah An-Nahdliyah. Second, the method of da'wah in this verse is da'wah bi al-qalam and bi al-lisan by using the psychological and cultural approach, namely regional language (Madura). Third, the everlastingness of this verse is supported by several factors; the method of habituation or repetition, spreading by the students, graduates, sympathizers, and several jam'iyah, and also because of the figures of the two authors.

Abstract

Pancasila is a philosophy as well as a source of law for all policies that are a reference for state administration, including in the economic field. The Pancasila economy is an economic concept that is explored and built from the values adopted in Indonesian society. It is also built on the values that exist in Indonesian society. That is derived from religious values, norms, customs, or culture. Even though the world economy has become unified and the market has become global, as long as there is an Indonesian nation and state, the concept of Pancasila economy is still dedicated to the Indonesian people. In addition, the economic concept of Pancasila is not only materialistic but also faith and piety. This is moral and ethical for the administration in the economic field. Abstract

A Cooperative is a financial institution that aims to prosper its members. In addition to conventional cooperatives, there are now sharia cooperatives which in carrying out their operations use sharia principles. KSPPS BMT Salafiyah is one of them, KSPPS BMT Salafiyah is a savings and loan cooperative and sharia financing owned by the Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Islamic Boarding School Sukorejo. BMT is the closest Islamic financial institution to the community. And to maintain public trust in BMT, transparency, accountability, responsibility, professionalism, and fairness are needed in carrying out its operations. This study discusses Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in which there are 5 principles. The focus of the problem in this research are: first, how is the implementation of GCG principles in KSPPS BMT Salafiyah Sukorejo Sumberejo Banyuputih Situbondo?; second, what are the obstacles faced in implementing the principles of GCG in KSPPS BMT Salafiyah Sukorejo Sumberejo Banyuputih Situbondo? The purpose of this research is to describe how the implementation of GCG principles in KSPPS BMT Salafiyah and what are the obstacles in implementing GCG principles in KSPPS BMT Salafiayah Sukorejo Sumberejo Banyuputih Situbondo. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method and uses the instruments of observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis uses descriptive analysis technique, which describes qualitatively when conducting research, with an emphasis on the Implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) Principles at KSPPS Salafiyah Sukorejo Sumberejo Banyuputih Situbondo. The result of this research is that KSPPS BMT Salafiyah implements 5 principles of GCG, namely transparency, accountability, responsibility, professionalism, and fairness. And for the obstacles faced in implementing GCG, KSPPS BMT Salafiyah experienced obstacles in internal factors, namely the ebb and flow of employee discipline in carrying out their duties or obligations, the effort they made was to apply rules to employees to come to the office before 8 o'clock and give rewards to employees with high discipline.

Abstract

Qardul Hasan financing is one of the excellent products in finance. It can help lower class society and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) to develop their business. This main advantage is there is a payoff without any profit-sharing or profit margins. However, the borrower by his own volition can give the excess of the loan. To borrow Qardul Hasan financing, the customer must submit collateral to KSPPS BMT Salafiyah in the form of goods or a personal guarantee system. Personal guarantee in financing is an embodiment of financing without collateral, as well as the application of personal guarantee in Qardul Hasan financing in KSPPS BMT Salafiyah. In its realization, KSPPS BMT Salafiyah provides Qardul Hasan financing to customers with personal guarantees. It means guarantee is in the form of signature and or statement of the figure as community leaders which he or she is responsible for the given financing.
