Communication a necessary component of the training process that cannot be ignored until the competition period. Effective communication between fellow athletes during physical training, technical training, and mental training can lead to complete understanding for athletes. Likewise, during a match, when technical, physical, and mental exercise is no longer carried out before the match, communication cannot be ignored during the match. This study aims to determine how the group communication of the East Java women's team archery recurves at the XX National Sports Week (PON) in Papua. The East Java women's team recurve archery was chosen in this study because of the consistent achievement of East Java archery during participation in PON, one of which was in the women's team recurve number. The method used in this study is the semiotics of Charles Sanders Peirce in the final video of the East Java women's team archery competition at the Papua National Sports Week, which was obtained through the Youtube channel "Media Second TV." This study shows that group communication in the sport of recurve archery for the women's team of East Java at the XX National Sports Week (PON) in Papua is dominated by non-verbal communication during the final match.

Sexual harassment is an interesting issue in a nation that was once safe and peaceful, Indonesia. Sexual harassment seizures that get less attention, both from the authorities and the authorities or even have to choose silence when dealing with the more powerful parties often occur. This creates a negative stigma and causes sexual abuse traffickers to be afraid to complain about the crimes that occur to themselves and the absence of a deterrent effect on the perpetrator makes the perpetrators act freely because they feel themselves safe. This phenomenon was made into a Light Confiscation Film Photocopier. The purpose of the researchers in raising this discussion is to describe and represent the case of sexual harassment raised in the film Photocopier. Researchers used analytical techniques using qualitative methods and took John Fiske's semiotic examination methods to pass codes and profound importance on to films. The outcomes showed that the portrayal of sexual brutality in this film there are three phases as per John Fiske covering the degree of the real world, the degree of portrayal and the degree of philosophy inferred from the depiction of sexual violence carried out and concluded that in this film use patriarchal ideology and social class.

Social media fuel youth’s creativity and provide a platform to share their identity and develop their brand. Studygram are study bloggers who utilize Instagram to post their student life, in particular studying activities. Personal brand can be developed through communicating one’s characteristic and establishing desired impression to public of one’s skill, personality, or other traits. Studygram account is an example of a way to craft personal brand. This paper aims to explain the personal branding presentation from the youth’s perspective through Instagram. Related concepts include personal branding, study bloggers, and Instagram aesthetic. Through case study qualitative approach, online observation and content analysis were used as the method to collect and analyze the data from the selected Studygram accounts. The result showed the presentation of branding from the consistent feed and content highlighting productivity through display of study items arranged neatly and appeasing visually. Other than focusing on productivity, activities in daily life were also shared through various content. Interaction with followers were seen through interactive captions to engage and share personal experience and tips in their student life to connect with the followers. Opportunity for further study includes evaluation whether Studygram affects their productivity, visual content analysis, or investigation of the content exposure of Studygram on the audience.

Media convergence is one of the developments of mass media that involves many technological factors in it. The presence of the internet encourages conventional mass media to apply the concept of media convergence such as online media, e-paper, e-books, radio streaming and social media combined with other media. The purpose of this study is to analyze the strategy of iNews TV Palembang and PAL TV in order to continue to exist in the era of media convergence. The type of research used in this research is qualitative using SWOT theory and media convergence theory. From the results of the analysis it can be said that iNews TV Palembang is in the position of quadrant 3 which shows that iNews TV Palembang has a chance but faces several obstacles, this is especially the iNews TV Palembang lantern is still in the form of a bureau and relies on central iNews TV. While PAL TV Palembang is in quadrant 1, because of its strong position and opportunity. Second, researchers also discovered several challenges faced by both in the era of media convergence, namely the rapid development of the internet and online media so as to encourage people to access online media more easily through gadgets or handphones. Third, researchers found the innovation of iNews TV Palembang and PAL TV in carrying out media convergence. Where the two local TVs have now used the internet and online media to convey information.

There has been a change in marketing strategy, from traditional to modern. Modern marketing strategy was chosen because it has several advantages, such as wide market and cheap promotional costs. One of users modern marketing strategies is MSMEs. Modern or digital marketing has proven to be influential in showing the advantages of MSME products so they can compete with competitors. Purpose of the study is to analyze digital marketing communication activities carried out by Teras Ciapus MSME community in promoting cake and cookies products. This is qualitative research with interview and digital observations. The digital marketing communication activities carried out by Teras Ciapus MSME community were not optimal. The account used to promote the products is their personal account. They have not taken full advantage of the features available on social media it’s because they do not really understand the functions and uses of the features on it. It takes the role of a number of external parties, such as the banking, the Ministry of MSMEs, academics and practitioners who have concentration on MSME digital literacy.

The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic has hit the tourism sector hard, including tourist villages, where many tourist villages have been closed and do not accept tourist visits. One of these tourist villages is Giriloyo Tourism Village, where the closure of this tourist village has hit the economy of the batik craftsmen who are members of the Sido Asih Batik Community. The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the role of group communication in the Sido Asih Batik Community in dealing with the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques used in this study were observation, interviews, and literature review. This study shows that the role of group communication is important, because group communication can act as a medium for community coordination and consolidation. Due to the pandemic, group communication is carried out virtually via the WhatsApp (WA) group. Group communication is also used as a forum for joint problem solving and produces a number of initiatives, such as selling batik cloth online using WhatsApp (WA) to a number of cities in Indonesia, and selling other products such as herbal medicine. Another role of group communication is to strengthen each other and work together in dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic through traditions such as jimpitan, as well as a medium for making certain decisions, such as the decision to reopen the Giriloyo Tourism Village.

One of the stakeholders in the tourism sector is the Indonesian Tour Guide Association (HPI). Tour guide activities, including communication activities carried out between HPI members in introducing tourism areas. In the digital era and the new normal era, the need to use various communication media such as social media has a very high role. The research objectives are; 1) analyze the influence of social media activities at HPI in promoting the Lake Toba tourism area; 2) analyze the factors that influence the promotion of the Lake Toba tourism area. This research uses quantitative research methods with research locations in North Sumatra. Gradual sampling technique (multi-step random sampling). The sample size was determined as many as 60 HPI members from a total population of 114 HPI members. Data collection techniques used questionnaires, observing HPI members' social media and discussions with HPI management. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics in the form of a regression test.The results of the study show that in general HPI members access Facebook, WhatsApp, Youtube and Instagram social media. Apart from social media, another medium used by HPI in promoting Lake Toba tourism is using group communication. Regression analysis shows that there is an influence of social media activity on tourism promotion in the Lake Toba area.

Public Relation Practitioner’s role is to provide a good message to the target audience. As a musician, Nadin Amizah’s way to communicate with her audience is through her song and lyrics. Song lyrics are an important element in a song that contains a story or message for the listener. This research aims to find the meaning behind the song “Sorai” by Nadin Amizah and to further discuss mindfulness elements in the song through qualitative method and semiotic theory by Ferdinand de Saussure. This research is to be analyzed using five elements of mindfulness based on Aldina’s theory of mindfulness. The result of the analysis of Sorai by Nadin Amizah consists of a meaningful and heartfelt attitude towards accepting and letting go of a separation through mindfulness. Through mindfulness, letting go and accepting what is happening in our lives becomes easier. It proves how mindfulness is a necessary element to be applied in our day to day life in order to have a peaceful and meaningful life.

Human resource development is the focus of the government in the 2020-2024 National Medium Term Draft. One of the concerns is stunting. Bandung Regency is one of the areas with a high prevalence of stunting. Data from the 2022 Indonesia Nutrition Status Study shows that the prevalence of stunting in the Bandung Regency area reaches 31.1 percent or 112,000 people. Sukamulya Village is one of the villages that has implemented a stunting prevention program seriously. The stunting prevalence rate can be reduced to 11 percent per year in 2021 from 14 percent in 2019. This figure is indeed quite good, but the decline in the number which is only 1 percent per year is an interesting thing to study. One of the causes of stunting is early marriage by young people. Therefore this study aims to understand the opinions and attitudes of the youth subculture of Sukamulya Village on the issue of stunting. The theory used in this research is Youth Subculture and Social Learning Theory. The research methodology uses a constructivist qualitative approach. The results showed that the opinions and attitudes of the youth subculture in Sukamulya Village were divided into three groups. Groups that have awareness of the issues of stunting and early marriage, groups that know about stunting issues but don't care about them and groups that don't know. The emergence of these three groups is due to different levels of consciousness and intellect.

The image needs to be built and formed in various ways. This is motivated by the desire of all companies to always maintain a positive image in the eyes of the public. Because for them, image is one of the essential factors for a brand or company to survive and be recognized by the wider community. Likewise, NCT Dream builds an image of NCTzen Indonesia through the Goyang Mendung Tanpo Udan post. This study aims to determine how NCTzen's interpretation of NCT's image in the Goyang Mendung Tanpo Udan post on NCT Dream's official Instagram. Researchers used Stuart Hall's encoding-decoding theory. In this study, researchers used the audience reception analysis method. The results of this study indicate that one informant falls into the negotiation category because the post contains popularity and also follows the growing trend. Four informants fall into the opposition category because the post does not only contain popularity. This is motivated and dominated by differences in the length of time the informant has been an NCTzen.
