This research is motivated by a tour guide (storyteller) in the process of telling a message about a type of tourist destination. Semarang is a city improving its tourist destination by highlighting the slogan variety of culture. This gives Semarang several reference destinations such as cultural tourism in the Chinatown area, nature tourism in the urban forest, and special culinary interest tourism. This research aims to determine the rhetorical process of story messages conveyed by storytellers to tourists. The research uses a qualitative approach with case study methods, and collection techniques by observing walking tour activities and interviews with storytellers (tour guides). The research results show that the narrative process related to walking tourist routes based on types of tourist interest according to the Directorate General of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia involves creating a route story, taking into account 3 rhetorical evidence including credibility, emotional approach, and logic then going through the creation process by organizing the message. To impress tourists, storytellers use style in language and coordinate with gestures, expressions, and voice intonation, efforts are made to memorize the material so that the story can be conveyed optimally.

The entertainment industry has grown rapidly, including in small cities such as Kupang. This provides opportunities for the younger generation to channel their talents and abilities. Timor Creative People Agency plays a role in developing creativity and talent in the entertainment sector. Success in marketing an entertainment agency requires attention to its marketing communication strategies to ensure its services can be used to complete outstanding projects. This research aims to understand the implementation of integrated marketing communication strategies used by Timor Creative People Agency to attract interest in the entertainment world, particularly in modeling. This study uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques including semi-structured interviews and documentation. The data analysis used in this study follows three stages: data reduction, presentation, and verification. Data validation is carried out using source triangulation by comparing data from various informant categories. The results of this study indicate that Timor Creative People Agency has implemented integrated marketing communication strategies including advertising, direct marketing, public relations, word of mouth, events experiences, personal selling, and digital marketing. The key activities in boosting the marketing of Timor Creative People Agency are digital marketing and personal selling.

The advancement of technology and internet usage has significantly impacted various sectors, including higher education. Social media, particularly Instagram, has become a widely used platform for effective information dissemination. The Instagram account @humas.lldikti3 is utilized by the Higher Education Service Institution Region III to fulfill the information needs of private universities in Jakarta. However, the effectiveness of this information dissemination remains questionable, especially regarding user interface and media richness as key factors. This study aims to analyze the influence of the user interface and media richness of the Instagram account @humas.lldikti3 on fulfilling private university information. The research employs a quantitative method with a multiple regression analysis technique. The study involved 100 respondents who are active Instagram users and utilize the @humas.lldikti3 account as an information source. The findings reveal that the user interface positively and significantly affects information fulfillment, as does media richness. Simultaneously, these two variables also have a positive and significant influence on information fulfillment. These findings highlight the importance of user-friendly interface design and rich media in enhancing the quality of information dissemination through social media platforms.

The Golkar Party, as one of the political parties in Indonesia, participating in the political process to put its candidates in legislative seats to represent the aspirations of the people in the 2024 elections. Political parties play an important role in the process of political communication, which aims to reach the various layers of society, including those who understand politics and those who don't. By communicating effectively, the political parties hope to prevent the spread of widespread political apathy among the public. The researchers learned about the success of the strategy of distribution of messages of the candidate legislative member of the DPRD party Golkar West Jakarta in the 2024 elections, as well as to find out the factors that shape and influence the distribution strategy of the messages of candidate parliamentary member of DPRD West Jakarta golkar party in the elections 2024 using qualitative research methods. Overall, the research finds that several strategies reflect a highly focused approach to direct and personal communication, with the potential to make greater use of digital platforms in the future. This analysis shows the importance of adaptation and flexibility in campaign message distribution strategies, which are in line with McNair's and McQuail's theories.

In an increasingly competitive business environment, it is important for entrepreneurs to maintain their position and plan effective business strategies. One important factor is consumer trust, which is influenced by positive perceive quality. To achieve this goal, effective organizational communication and leadership are needed to drive the organization and set clear goals. This study focuses on the leadership interaction in enhancing the positive perception of company quality among employees of Waterboom Jaya Tirta Abadi Purwakarta, a tourism business. The research used a qualitative approach with a case study methode, collecting data through interviews and literature reviews, and using source and technique triangulation for data validity. The results indicate that organizational communication and the interaction between leaders and employees has successfully enhanced the positive perception of company quality, particularly through clear information and guidance as well as positive interactions between employees and visitors. However, issues arise from the lack of formal organizational structure and operational standards, as well as inadequate resources. Nevertheless, the contributions of leaders and employees are expected to enhance the positive perception of company quality by consumers.

BRI Incubator is a mentoring program carried out with RKB BUMN for all Indonesian MSMEs in order to understand financial literacy, marketing, and compete with digitalization. When using communication media to involve the public, Marketing Public Relations will emerge that fosters awareness of products and builds consumer trust in the company's image or has benefits to the marketing offered. This study aims to determine the Marketing Public Relations strategy used in the BRI Incubator program by RKB BUMN in fostering MSMEs – MSMEs so that they can Go-Digital, Go-Modern and Go-Global. This research uses qualitative research methods with a phenomenological approach. The result of this study is that the public relations marketing strategy carried out by the BRI Incubator program consists of three types of strategies which consist of push strategy, pull strategy, and pass strategy. There is a strategy used to trigger MSMEs to grow into support until MSMEs get benefits that have been informed through BRI Incubator social media. However, the dissemination of information still focuses on Instagram social media followers only, so information related to the training held by the BRI Incubator has not been widely spread to the public with new types of MSMEs who want training to improve the quality of these MSMEs. so there is still a need for optimization so that there is an increase in the dissemination of information provided by the BRI Incubator program to other West Java MSMEs.

This descriptive research aims to understand listener behavior in consuming live streaming and radio broadcast applications in Indonesia to support the sustainability of radio broadcasting businesses. The study employs a quantitative method with data collection techniques through a survey distributed via Google Forms. The survey was conducted from August 1, 2024, to October 17, 2024. The population of this study consists of individuals who actively access radio through digital platforms, either through live streaming or mobile radio broadcast applications. The sampling technique used is convenience sampling, with inclusion criteria: aged at least 16 years, having internet access, and having listened to digital radio in the last six months. The number of respondents was 223 individuals, determined based on the Lemeshow formula with a confidence level of 95% and a margin of error of 0.066. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The research results show that the majority of streaming radio listeners are Generation Z (54.5%) and millennials (25%), with a female majority (60.3%). 50.2% of listeners access digital radio through mobile applications while traveling. The reason the audience consumes streaming radio is due to better quality (43.8%), easier accessibility (60.6%), and wide reach as long as there is an internet connection (63.1%). These findings have implications for radio station managers to enhance their digital strategies to ensure their business remains sustainable amidst changing listener behavior and increasingly fierce media industry competition.

National media typically adopt disaster journalism when reporting on disasters. However, local media increasingly highlight these issues due to their high news value in terms of proximity. Advances in technology and societal changes have made people more selective about the information they consume, particularly on social media, including disaster-related news that impacts many lives. This study aims to describe the selective exposure behavior of high school students in Sumedang Regency toward news about the Sumedang earthquake on Instagram @Inimahsumedang, focusing on social aspects such as emotional support, informational support, and social norms. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, utilizing descriptive statistical analysis, including median, mode, minimum, and maximum values. Additionally, the study examines differences in news selection behavior between male and female high school students in Sumedang Regency using an independent T-test (two-tailed). The findings reveal that social aspects influence individuals' selective exposure to news about the Sumedang earthquake on Instagram @Inimahsumedang. However, the T-test suggesting no significant differences in news selection behavior between male and female students regarding the social aspects of the issue.

This study aims to deconstruct the meaning of women’s diplomacy in the speech delivered by Indonesia’s Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi at the 2024 Gagas RI Forum entitled “Women and Indonesia’s Diplomacy on the Global Stage.” The research adopts a critical qualitative approach using Jacques Derrida’s theory and method of deconstruction. The unit of analysis is the official transcript of the speech, analyzed through Peter Barry’s three levels of deconstructive reading: verbal, textual, and linguistic. The results reveal numerous gaps, contradictions, and fractures within the text that destabilize the idealized narrative of female diplomacy. The presence of Kartini as a metaphor, while intended to symbolize women’s empowerment, instead exposes ambiguities between female agency and submission under patriarchal structures. These findings suggest that the diplomatic text embodies ideological tensions and fragmented meanings that diverge from the speaker’s intentions. This study contributes to the fields of political communication, diplomacy studies, and critical discourse analysis by offering new interpretations of women’s representation in public and diplomatic discourse.

Interpersonal communication between parents and children is an important matter for children, especially for teenagers, who are undergoing many changes. Unfortunately, physical violence often occurs within this interpersonal communication. Furthermore, the rapid development of technology in society has introduced many online games. Although online games are believed to reduce a person's stres levels, the more time a person spends playing online games, the more their interpersonal relationships decline. This can ultimately lead to aggressive behavior in teenagers themselves. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of parental interpersonal communication and physical violence on the aggressive behavior of teenage gamers. The method used is quantitative, with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires distributed to 100 teenage respondents in Jakarta using a random sampling technique. The results of the study show that the parental interpersonal communication variable has a positive and significant influence on adolescent aggressive behavior by 6.825. The physical violence variable has a positive and significant influence on adolescent aggressive behavior by 4.211. Both variables, parental interpersonal communication and physical violence, have a positive and significant influence on adolescent aggressive behavior by 26.028.
