Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in Indonesia's national economy. Despite contributing significantly to GDP and employment, MSMEs face challenges in protecting their intellectual property rights (IPR), particularly in registering trademarks. This community engagement activity aimed to enhance the understanding and capabilities of MSMEs in the Sejahtera Business Group (KUB) in Pekanbaru regarding trademark registration and packaging design as essential elements of branding and product competitiveness. The method employed was Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA), emphasizing active participation from the identification of challenges to the implementation of solutions. The training involved theoretical sessions, interactive discussions, and practical demonstrations focusing on trademark registration procedures, intellectual property rights protection, and the role of packaging in strengthening market appeal. Post-training, participants were provided with intensive mentoring to address technical barriers in trademark registration. Evaluation results revealed significant improvements in participants’ knowledge and confidence in registering trademarks and designing effective packaging. More than 95% of participants reported satisfaction with the program, highlighting its practicality and relevance to their business needs. The findings suggest that comprehensive and sustained interventions in branding and IPR protection can enhance the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs. This program serves as a model for empowering small businesses through education and mentorship in intellectual property management

Abstract

This Community Service Activity aims to provide knowledge about the use of used and used clothes at home into various products that have economic value, in addition to providing training in making household equipment mat products from used clothes. The method of this community service activity uses lecture methods, questions and answers and training with product making tutorials. The lecture method is used to convey general knowledge about the impact of used clothes which can also become waste that decomposes over a long period of time. In addition, the lecture method also conveys various products that can be used as ideas for making other products. The question and answer method is used to complete things that have not been accommodated by the lecture method. Training method with direct tutorials on making household furniture mat products from used clothes. This training involves lecturers from the Accounting and Management Department who work together with the Dasawisma mothers' group in Meranti Pandak Village as target subjects. Abstract

This community service project aims to enhance household food security by utilizing home yards in Lembah Sari Sub-district, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City. The primary target group was housewives, who were trained to cultivate vegetable crops effectively and simply in their home gardens. The methods applied included counseling, technical training, distribution of agricultural inputs, and ongoing mentoring. The results showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge and skills in yard cultivation, along with a more optimal use of available yard space. The program contributed not only to improving household food security but also to providing opportunities for increasing family income and better access to healthy food. This activity proves that community-based home garden farming can be an effective strategy to strengthen local food security. Abstract

This study aims to examine the strategic role of educational administration in improving access to education for students from low-income backgrounds at SMKN 3 Banjarmasin. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that educational administration plays a major role in designing and implementing educational assistance policies, such as scholarships, payment flexibility, and the ' Saudara Asuh' program. This program has proven effective in reducing students' economic burden and increasing their participation and enthusiasm for learning. This study also emphasizes the importance of empathy-based and participatory policies in inclusive education management.   Keywords: educational administration, access to education, education policy, economics, inclusive schools

Abstract

Perkembangan media sosial telah mendorong munculnya influencer sebagai figur yang berpengaruh dalam keputusan pembelian, terutama di kalangan remaja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepercayaan terhadap influencer terhadap minat beli produk fashion secara online pada remaja. Kepercayaan diukur melalui tiga dimensi, yaitu kredibilitas, keahlian, dan kesamaan (similarity) antara influencer dan audiens. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 100 remaja berusia 15–19 tahun yang aktif mengikuti influencer fashion di media sosial. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepercayaan terhadap influencer berpengaruh signifikan dan positif terhadap minat beli produk fashion secara online. Dimensi kepercayaan yang paling dominan adalah kredibilitas, diikuti oleh keahlian dan kesamaan. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi pelaku bisnis fashion dan digital marketing untuk membangun kerja sama dengan influencer yang memiliki tingkat kepercayaan tinggi di mata remaja.

Abstract

As a digital native generation, Generation Z needs flexible and relevant leadership. This study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the concept of leadership that is relevant to Generation Z. The methodology used in this study is called literature review. Literature review is the process of finding and reading various books, journals, and publications related to the research topic to write about it. The results of the literature study indicate that Generation Z is most suited to the transformational leadership paradigm because it emphasizes inspiration, individual growth, and collaborative vision. They need the meaning, values, and engagement that Generation Z has. Effective Gen Z leaders are those who can successfully apply the three approaches mentioned above. They can then adjust their leadership style to suit the changing situation, individual needs, and organizational dynamics.

Abstract

The environmental crisis, particularly related to organic waste and pollution, has become a major challenge that needs to be addressed immediately. One effective way to reduce waste volume is by processing it into beneficial products, such as eco-enzyme, a fermented liquid derived from organic waste that offers various eco-friendly benefits, including water purification and soil enrichment. Waste management education should be introduced from an early age, and universities play a crucial role in promoting this program through a structured managerial approach. Additionally, the implementation of waste management based on efficiency and sustainability can lead to the creation of environmentally friendly economic products, adding value to society. Based on this, the Community Service Team of Unilak Postgraduate Lecturers conducted a community engagement program to enhance waste management through eco-enzyme production training at SMK Negeri 7 Pekanbaru, a school committed to fostering an energy-saving culture and environmental conservation. This activity aimed to educate students on how to process organic waste into eco-enzyme, contribute to environmental preservation, and encourage the development of sustainability-based products with economic potential for the community. The results of this activity showed an improvement in students' understanding of the eco-enzyme concept, both in theory and practice. Students not only grasped the benefits of eco-enzyme in waste management but also successfully produced eco-enzyme independently through hands-on practice. Moreover, this activity fostered students' awareness of the importance of sustainable organic waste management, which is expected to be applied in their daily lives.

Abstract

This study aims to address the challenges of various changes in the world of education and develop the unique potential possessed by schools. This study uses a case study method to understand in depth how inclusive leadership practices are implemented and how change management is managed in a multicultural school environment. Data were obtained from direct observations of researchers and supported by documentary evidence, and analyzed to understand the best practices faced in the context of multicultural schools. The results of the study showed 5 important findings, namely inclusive leadership, change management, teacher involvement, student participation, community support, and academic and social outcomes. The role of the principal and stakeholders is very important in creating an inclusive and supportive environment in preserving culture at SMPN 11 Muara Teweh so that it becomes an important aspect in supporting change management. Abstract

Survey yang dilakukan pada pelaku Usaha Mikro Kecil di Kecamatan Leitimur Selatan Kota Ambon ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan sejauhmana pemberdayaan UMKM di Kecamatan Leitimur Selatan dalam pencapaian Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Desa dan mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penghambat pencapaian SDGs di desa-desa tersebut. SDGs Desa hadir sebagai komitmen global untuk menciptakan desa-desa yang tangguh, inklusif, dan sejahtera dengan 17 pilar tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada 8 Desa/Negeri di Kecamatan Leitimur Selatan Kota Ambon yaitu Negeri Naku, Kilang, Hukurila, Ema, Hatalae, Hutumuri, Rutong, dan Leahari. Hasil survey menunjukan bahwa Pemberdayaan Usaha Mikro di Kecamatan Leitimur Selatan Kota Ambon dinilai telah dapat mendukung pencapaian SDGs Desa. Pelaku Usaha Mikro sadar betul akan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Mereka memiliki komitmen yang kuat untuk upaya pengentasan kemiskinan; menjadikan desanya tanpa kemiskinan dan tanpa kelaparan. Berusaha menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat di lingkungan sekitarnya, sehingga mampu menciptakan kehidupan yang sehat dan sejahtera. Mengedepankan pendidikan yang berkualitas bagi anaknya, melakukan inovasi dalam menemukan ide-ide pembuatan produknya, mengatasi kesenjangan ekonomi dengan cara melibatkan saudara, tetangga atau masyarakat sekitar untuk ikut serta dalam mengembangkan usahanya. Usaha Mikro di Kecamatan Leitimur Selatan juga berkontribusi dalam menjaga ekosistem lingkungan hidup. Eksploitasi yang berlebihan terhadap sumberdaya alam akan merusak ekosistem lingkungan hidup. Sedangkan faktor-faktor penghambat pencapaian SDGs dalam pemberdayaan UMK adalah; Kurangnya keterlibatan pemerintah, kurangannya dana bagi pengembangan usaha, pengelolaan usaha belum dapat bertransformasi secara digital Kata Kunci: usaha mikro kecil, sustanable development goals

Abstract

Actual-productive moral intelligence is a form of moral intelligence that not only understands the values of goodness but is also capable of consistently and responsibly translating them into concrete actions in social life. In the context of education and character development, strengthening this intelligence is crucial to addressing the challenges of the modern era, marked by moral crises and the degradation of ethical values. An integrative approach combining ethical philosophy and moral psychology is considered effective for fostering moral character that is not only theoretically ideal but also productive in action. Moral intelligence must be developed through an approach that balances rational and emotional aspects to produce a whole and integrity-driven individual. The strengthening of students' morality must be carried out through contextual, reflective, and transformative learning strategies. Additionally, the importance of social and cultural support from the school environment in shaping productive morality that is internalized into daily habits cannot be overlooked. This study aims to examine the concepts, approaches, and strategies for strengthening actual-productive moral intelligence by analyzing the philosophical foundations of ethics and moral psychology theory, as well as proposing an integrative implementation model in the context of character education. The method used is a qualitative study with a descriptive-analytical approach through literature review. The results of the study indicate that the synergy between ethical philosophy (teleological and deontological) and moral psychology theory (such as the theory of moral development stages) provides a strong framework for fostering actual and productive moral intelligence in real life.
