Abstract

The connotative advertising of advertising is certainly not sufficient to be interpreted conventionally, because each type of advertisement has its own character. Ads that try to convey implicit messages and communication about identity politics with rhetorical variants appear in the 2017 “Lucky Strike Seeing Things Differently” ad. it displays the daily routine rhetoric of a grown man with quite sublimative cinematic visuals. Today's rhetoric routine is very dominant with the practice of masculinity. The selected visual signs have an awareness of the masculinity of adult men, so that the audience is carried away by the practices of masculinity that are uniquely presented with daily relativity. The presentation of the sign of masculinity is important for research to reveal how the rhetoric of the sign in the advertisement “Lucky Strike Seeing Things Differently”. This research method uses Charles Sander Pierce's semiotic method which is related to the representative, object, and interpretant. The results of this analysis provide an understanding that this advertisement also tries to shape the perception of masculinity through the daily routine of men who become advertisements. The sign of masculinity is also directed at the physique inherent in the advertising model in the form of a tall, stocky, and long-haired posture.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjawab rumusan masalah yang tercantum dalam Tari Kalegoa pada Sanggar  Keraton  Laode  Umuri Bolu kota  Bau-Bau  Kabupaten  Buton yaitu: 1). Bagaimana Bentuk Gerak Tari Kalegoa pada Sanggar Keraton Laode Umuri Bolu. 2). Bagaimana Makna Gerak yang terkandung dalam setiap ragam Tari Kalegoa pada Sanggar Keraton Laode Umuri Bolu. Penelitian ini merupakan  penelitian  deskriptif  kualitatif.  Penelitian  ini  dilaksanakan  di Sanggar Keraton Laode Umuri Bolu jalan Muh. Husni Thamrin kelurahan Tomba Kecamatan Wolio pada Bulan Juli sampai Oktober 2019. Tari ini diciptakan pada tahun 1987 oleh seorang budayawan  yang bernama  Laode Umuri Bolu.  Data yang diperoleh dengan melakukan teknik pengumpulan data (observasi langsung, wawancara, dan dokumentasi). Hasil penelitin ini menunjukan  bahwa: 1).  bentuk  gerak  Tari  Kalegoa  pada  Sanggar  Keraton Laode Umuri Bolu adalah tari tradisional yang menggambarkan suka duka gadis-gadis Buton sewaktu berada di dalam pingitan dengan bentuk berupa gerakan memakai sapu tangan. Jumlah penari yang menarikan tarian ini berjumlah genap antara 2,4,6,8, dan seterusnya. Sudah menjadi suatu tradisi sejak zaman lampau seorang gadis yang menjelang dewasa haruslah menjalani masa pingitan (posuo) selama delapan hari delapan malam. 2). makna ragam gerak Tari Kalegoa pada Sanggar Keraton Laode Umuri Bolu terbagi menjadi tiga yaitu:a. gerak lego/lengan bergoyang yang dimaknai bahwa perempuan dipersiapkan untuk bisa mengerjakan segala sesuatunya sendiri, karena seorang wanita dipersiapkan untuk menjadi seorang ibu dan menjadi istri. Wanita juga dipersiapkan untuk bisa mengurus dirinya sendiri dan keluarga.b. gerak pobura/memakai bedak yang dimaknai bahwa meraka yang sudah dewasa sudah bisa merias diri, menjaga diri, dan mempercantik diri. Memakai bedak tidak hanya dimaknai untuk mempercantik wajah tetapi makna sesunggunya adalah mempercantik hati dan perilaku wanita tersebut, agar meraka lebih mengerti maksud dari upacara yang mereka lakukan.c. gerak Karia/pesta yang dimaknai sebagai gambaran suka cita kegembiraan semua gadis-gadis yang sudah berhasil melewati prosesi upacara  Posuo. Wanita yang sudah dewasa sudah diberikan tanggung jawab. Keberadaanya sudah bisa diperhitungkan di dalam lingkungan keluarga dan masyarakat

Abstract

The concept of Fala Raha that exists in Ternate society (North Maluku), has a high understanding of meaning in their cultural life. This philosophical meaning can be interpreted scientifically and conceptually into the meaning of MIM in the understanding of Islamic religion.The concept of Fala Raha which is interpreted in the understanding of MIM in Islamic religion, is embodied in the self concept (Fangare). The embodiment of MIM in the self-concept (Fangare) for Ternate society, is an acknowledgment of the kinship that exists in their cultural structure, so that it becomes an essential life concept for Ternate society (North Maluku).

Abstract

Parasite is one of the films that have a message that shows signs in every scene in class domination. This study aims to analyze the Parasite film by looking at the visual presentation aspect associated with the hedonism perspective carried out by Kim Ki-taek's family figure who comes from the lower class. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a descriptive method that uses Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. The results of the study show that Parasite is a realistic dark comedy thriller movie. This Parasite movie makes spectral arrogance have a strong emotional effect on one of the film's characters and it turns out that it has no basis in the metaphysical realm but in the economic realm in the form of the emergence of hedonism in Kim Ki-taek's family character. The depiction of two different conditions between the Park Dong-ik family and the Kim Ki-taek family, which in reality describes the two different worlds in which the poor and the rich life.

Abstract

Penelitian berjudul “ Analisis karakter Pangeran Badar dalam pertunjukan Teater Bangsawan Palembang” ini berusaha untuk menterjemahkan Karakter tokoh pada lakon teater Bangsawan dengan pendekatan teori psikologi dan teori penokohan. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut maka peneliti membuat beberapa pertanyaan dalam rumusan masalah yang berkaitan dengan: 1. Bagaimana sikap, perilaku, dan nada bicara Pangeran Badar kepada tokoh yang lain, 2.Seperti apakah pola pikir Pangeran Badar terhadap tokoh yang lain. dan 3.Seperti apakah peran Pangeran badar pada sudut pandang Penokohan. Adapun metode yang di gunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah diskriftif analisis. Metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, studi pustaka, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Lakon Dua Korban di Gunung Meru merupakan karya Johar Saad, dan karakter tokoh dari Pangeran Badar menjadi sosok terpenting dalam lakon tersebut, karena pada sebuah penampilan teater akan muncul sebuah konflik yang di bangun oleh tokoh-tokoh. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan sebuah analisis pengambaran kehidupan cerita yang dibangun pada konsep teater bangsawan yang dapat dipetik pembelajaran di dalamnya, Bagian terpenting adalah mengacu terhadap tokoh yang menjadi sasaran jalan cerita, tabiat atau karakter yang muncul dari Pangeran Badar merupakan cerminan karakter antagonis seorang penguasa yang arogan hingga akhir hayatnya.

Abstract

A Nasyid is a type of music that has existed in Indonesia for decades. The nasyid is an art form performed by a group consisting of several people. This nasyid is performed in Acapella and contains religious verses and reminds of goodness. In its development, nasyid music experienced ups and downs in the Indonesian music scene. Nasyid music (in acapella format) is now emerging and drowning in nasyid music itself. This journal offers a solution in response to this. Local language nasyid music is one solution in preserving nasyid in the community. It is intended so that the presentation of nasyid can be enjoyed by everyone, and the message of goodness in nasyid music can reach people. Local language nasyid music is expected to bring nasyid music closer to people familiar with local languages. The foreign impression on nasyid music can be removed, and it is hoped that the community will accept it. The local-language nasyid can be a medium for preserving local languages in the community. Among so many nasyid music in local languages produced and circulated in the community, it is expected that the younger generation could be more familiar with the local wisdom in the form of local languages.  As well as becomes entertainment contain positiveness in the form of kindness messages from the song lyrics.

Abstract

Penulisan artikel ini terdiri dari dua poin pembahasan, yang pertama mendeskripsikan proses pembuatan video pembelajaran violin, dan yang kedua adalah analisis Video Pembelajaran Violin Dalam Konteks Teknologi Informasi Dan Komunikasi. Tahapan dan metode yang dilakukan diantaranya, menggunakan metode kualitatif. Lokasi penelitian bertempat di prodi pendidikan musik Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. Pemilihan sampel penelitian dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data interaktif. Hasil Pembahasan : Pembuatan video dibagi menjadi 3 kegiatan utama yaitu: 1) kegiatan pembuka berisikan teks judul, salam pembuka, perkenalan diri pemateri, dan penyampaian isi materi pembelajaran secara singkat; 2) kegiatan inti berisikan pengenalan bagian-bagian instrument violin, cara memegang violin yang sesuai, penyampaian teknik gesekan detache, staccato, legato, dan spiccato; 3) kegiatan penutup berisikan salam penutup, ucapan terimakasih dan credit title.  Implikasi: Pembelajaran sudah selayaknya ditumbuhkan melalui pemenuhan inovasi dari seorang pengajar. Langkah pembuatan video pembelajaran violin dibuat sejalan dengan sistem pendukung keputusan yang bermanfaat sebagai upaya terwujudnya kemajuan pendidikan.

Abstract

The PlaAstro method applied at K - PAS Indonesia as one of the teaching methods for special children emphasizes closeness in the arts. With suppressed visuals from gestures and expressions, the PlaAstro method can be read theoretically from the perspective of Roland Barthes Semiotics.The PlaAstro method, which is embodied in Roland Barthes' Semiotics perspective, has become an aesthetic journey of Fahdi Hasan, Str.Sn in responding to his critical thinking on discrimination and community idealism for people with disabilities (special individuals) through the Special Child Care Community (K - PAS Indonesia).

Abstract

This research seeks to explain to art observers, especially visitors to the Makassar city museum related to the existence of one of the collections of statues in the museum building. To explain the statute, a search of the library and other relevant sources was carried out. To obtain data on realist analysis of statues, data collection is collected using instruments analyzed based on the realist elements of sculpture, observation, documentation, and interviews. The subject of this research is the Wilhelmina statue collection of the Makassar city museum. The results of the analysis revealed that the statue is a realist statue with the form of a portrait statue or bust statue. The statue depicts the figure of a queen who came from the Netherlands. The existence of the statue in the city of Makassar is historical evidence that reminds us of colonialism that occurred in Makassar in the past. The results of this analysis can help explain one of the historical pieces of evidence of Dutch colonialism that has occurred in Makassar.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe article entitled “Vocal Pronunciation in Chorus Harmonizing in SMK Muhammadiyah I Palembang “ is an analysis of the research of potential belonging to Muhsapa Voice members a high school choir in the vocal pronunciation to form the harmony of a choir group. The correct vocal pronunciation is how to form goodvowels in creatingneeded voices in choir and to form harmonies that do not use wertern musical concepts. The writer raises several questions in his formulated problems related to: (1) the avility to create a natural vical harmony. (2) the cocal pronunciation forproducing prime voice pronouns. (3) the benefits derived in the musical potential for choir anngioners. The study employed qualitative approach with the concept of phenomenology, ethnography, and the theory of musical harmony. The result of this study will be this: (1) the potential musical wings to produce powerful vowels and harmonies of correct vowels. (2)  their potential can be used as a meanes for developing individual talents.  Keywords:  chorus, harmony, voice excellence, vocal pronunciation, prime vowels.
