Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of school principal leadership and school vision and mission on academic achievement, with student satisfaction as a mediating variable. The research is motivated by the critical role of leadership and strategic direction in shaping an effective learning environment, as well as how student satisfaction can strengthen these relationships. The study was conducted at SDN Bayongbong using a quantitative approach. The research method employed was a survey using questionnaires distributed to students, teachers, and school staff. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation to support the quantitative data. The results show that both principal leadership and the clarity of the school’s vision and mission have a significant positive effect on students’ academic performance. Furthermore, student satisfaction was found to mediate this relationship, indicating that higher student satisfaction enhances the influence of leadership and vision-mission on academic outcomes. These findings underscore the importance of strong strategic leadership and the formulation of an inclusive, student-centered vision and mission.

Discipline is a crucial character trait that significantly influences the development of students' social attitudes. This research is based on the current low level of student discipline, which can be seen from habits such as talking in class during lessons, arriving late, and other similar behavior. The aim of this study is to examine how a principal's leadership and teacher competence affect student discipline, with school culture acting as an intervening variable. This research employs a quantitative approach, utilizing survey meth ods to collect data. The population in this study were elementary school teachers in cluster 2 of Pontang sub-district. The sample in this study consisted of 30 teachers selected from several elementary schools in cluster 2, Pontang District, Serang Regency. Data was collected through questionnaires, designed based on indicators for each variable. This research was measured using a Likert scale with five levels of answers, ranging from strongly disagree to strongly agree. Subsequently, the acquired data underw ent analysis using path analysis techniques, facilitated by SPSS version 25 software. The research findings indicated a significant influence of both the principal's leadership and teacher competence on student discipline. Furthermore, school culture had a notable impact on student discipline. School culture serves as a mediating factor, connecting the influence of principal leadership and teacher competence with student discipline.

Abstract

Literacy and numeracy skills are important foundations in the learning process at the primary education level. Literacy includes not only the ability to read and write, but also the understanding and effective use of written information. Meanwhile, numeracy involves the ability to use basic math concepts in everyday life. Although crucial, the results of international assessments such as PISA show that Indonesian students' literacy and numeracy skills are still low. To address this, various policies have been implemented, including the implementation of the National Assessment and the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. This paper presents a narrative literature study with a descriptive-qualitative approach of 35 SINTA and international indexed journal articles from 2020-2025. The results of the study show that effective strategies in improving literacy include the use of picture storybooks, contextual learning, digital technology, and cross-subject literacy. Numeracy improvement is helped by manipulative media, contextual approaches such as PMRI and digital-based educational games. Supporting factors such as teacher training and parental involvement play an important role, while key challenges include limited resources and teacher competencies. This study suggests the integration of innovative and collaborative approaches in learning design.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how much influence Learning Videos have on Learning Motivation at SMAN 5 Cilegon. The research method used in this research is a descriptive method using a quantitative approach. The place of this research is at SMAN 5 Cilegon, with a population of 225 students, and the number of samples in this research is 75 students. The results of the analysis of the coefficients show that the correlation coefficient value shows that the rxy coefficient value is 0.549, so it is stated in the medium category, and rtable is 0.227. rcount > rtable = 0.549 > 0.227. The results of the t test obtained a tcount value of 5.608 while ttable was 1.66600 with an error level of 5%, thus tcount > ttable = 5.608 > 1.66600, so it can be concluded that the correlation coefficient between Learning Videos on Learning Motivation has a positive and significant effect and from the hypothesis testing that has been carried out Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. The coefficient of determination (cd) is obtained at 30%, based on the causal or causal nature of this variable relationship, a simple linear regression equation can be created, namely Y = a + bX, a= 13,452, while the value of b is b = 0.527 Keywords: Learning Video Media, Student Learning Motivation

Abstract

Physical development in early childhood plays a crucial role in supporting both gross and fine motor skills. Various physical activities can attract children's interest, encourage them to be more active, enhance their social abilities, and instill healthy habits. This study aims to examine children's physical development through gymnastic activities and a tie-dye (batik lipat) project. The research applied a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through participant observation, documentation, interviews, and direct observation. The findings indicate that gymnastics can improve children’s gross motor skills, while tie-dye activities, involving tasks such as folding, tying, and coloring, contribute to fine motor development. Additionally, active participation in these activities positively affects children’s self-confidence and discipline. The study concludes that combining physical and creative activities provides optimal benefits for early childhood physical growth.
