Abstract

Mental disorders should get more attention because the people themselves still think that mental disorders are disgusting and embarrassing. For this reason, the stigma of society has an impact on the families of sufferers because they think that if one of the families suffers from a mental disorder, it is something that is very embarrassing and is a disgrace to the family. One of the many psychiatric disorders is schizophrenia where the sufferer has difficulty distinguishing what is real and what is not. The existence of this thinking disorder makes the sufferer have abnormalities in behaving and speaking. Families who care for people with schizophrenia also receive bad treatment by the surrounding environment so that it affects their perception of schizophrenia itself. Not infrequently the family also becomes a victim when caring for the patient and of course makes the sufferer's family feel depressed. For this reason, self-acceptance from the family will have an impact and can also help the healing process for people with schizophrenia. The stages of family self-acceptance vary, but in general there are four stages, namely resistance, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of hypnotherapy in reducing insomnia scores in final year students. This study uses a quasi-experimental single design method and one group pretest experimental design, posttest design, namely the research design used to influence an effect (intervention) in a single case. The methods that used data collection are in the form of observation, unstructured interviews, and measurements through the Pittsburgh Rating Insomnia Scale. The collection of assessment data refers to the author. These results indicate that there is a difference in the level of insomnia between before and after a visual hypnotherapy intervention. From the existing insomnia rate scores, the results show a decrease in the pre, post, and follow-up scores on the insomnia rates seen by the subjects.

The subjects of this study were early adolescents spread across 5 schools in Doro District, Pekalongan Regency, totaling 270 students. The research sampling technique was simple random sampling. This research uses Multiple Linear Regression Test and correlation product moments as data analysis. The research instrument was a bullying behavior scale based on Darmawan's theory, a parent-child interpersonal communication scale based on DeVito's theory and a self-control scale based on Averill's theory. The results showed a relationship between interpersonal communication and self-control towards bullying behavior, which was indicated by R = 0.293, R square = 0.086, F regression = 12.977, p = 0.000 (p <0.001). In addition, it was also found that parent-child interpersonal communication had a negative and significant effect on bullying behavior as indicated by the value of rx1y = -0.245 (p<0.001) and also self-control has a negative and significant effect on bullying behavior as indicated by the value of rx2y = -0,257 ( p <0, 001).

The research subjects in this study used a saturated sample of adolescents aged 15-18 years at the Semarang Child Development Center. The test carried out in this study is an assumption test that contains a normality test and a relationship linearity test. This study uses Product Moment correlation using SPSS 23 for Windows. The results of the data analysis obtained are the correlation coefficient of 0.659 with a significance of 0.000, r_x1y = 0.659 (p <0.01), meaning that the hypothesis is acceptable, namely that there is a positive relationship between the variable self-esteem and optimism for career planning, the second hypothesis obtained a value of 0.589 with a significance of 0.000 , r_x2y = 0.589 (p <0.01) means that the hypothesis is accepted, namely that there is a positive relationship between the variable family social support on career planning optimism, then the third hypothesis obtained a value of 0.692, an R square value of 0.479, an F value of 68.853 with a significance level of 0.000. A significance of 0.000 is smaller than alpha 0.01, meaning that the hypothesis is accepted indicating a simultaneous relationship between self-esteem and family social support variables on optimism in career planning.

Abstract

In various professions, work is often faced with pressure and risk from every task and responsibility undertaken. The same thing also happened to ODGJ caregivers when carrying out their duties. It becomes a challenge for caregivers to provide optimal services and assistance to ODGJ, which must be interpreted joyfully. Regardless of the role, as a caregiver, you must form good self-resilience to carry out your duties. Therefore, this study aims to determine the relationship between resilience and happiness in ODGJ caregivers. The method used is a quantitative correlation. A total of 35 ODGJ caregivers became participants through the snowball sampling technique. The measurement uses a resilience scale and a happiness scale. The study's results showed a significant positive relationship between resilience and happiness in caregivers of ODGJ (r = 0.499 and sig. = 0.001). This indicates that resilience is one of the factors related to the increased happiness experienced by ODGJ caregivers in carrying out their duties and responsibilities.
