Abstract

The emergence of the Covid-19 Pandemic gave a significant impact on world change. Starting from the social aspects, economic aspects, to daily life, there is almost no sector that is not affected by the emergence of the Covid-19 Virus, including public services. The government limited social relations that exist in the community, encouraging most of the Government employees to work at home, which results in the public service sector unable to run normally as usual. All public service providers including the Agency Land Office sector Magelang must implemented a new service strategy in accordance with health protocols so that service sustainability is maintained. This research is a qualitative descriptive study used interview date, observation, and literature review. The results of the SWOT analysis show that the Agency Land Office sector Magelang must make system changes and maintain optimal service quality. This can be done by implementing a strategy to changes service policies in accordance with the functions of the Land Agency and meeting the technical requirements of health protocols.

Abstract

Digital marketing is a promotional activity and market search through digital media online by utilizing various means such as social networking. The purpose of this research is to increase knowledge and skills about digital marketing, especially social media, for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) business people to increase their sales and profits. Attended by UMKM participants from Renon Village, South Denpasar District, Bali, the methods used in this activity were; first, an explanation using a power point slide and an LCD projector; second, sharing experiences and discussions; and finally, the direct practice of creating social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram) and how to make them attractive to buyers (images, words, stories, etc.). The results show that some business actors are actively using social media as their promotional tool and they have not separated their online store accounts from their personal accounts, some other people use them occasionally, and the rest of the participants never use social media marketing due to a lack of technology skills. All participants showed great interest in using social media marketing on a continuous basis.

Abstract

This study discusses the analysis of human resource training needs in the context of job rotation to improve employee performance in auto2000 Denpasar. The purpose of this study is that later the company can provide policies to provide human resource training for employees who will be rotated so can later provide good performance for the company. This study uses data analysis techniques such as Training Need Analysis (TNA) which are divided into several levels including organizational analysis, task analysis, and individual analysis. In the individual analysis used assessment indicators given to administrative employees who have been rotated with a total of 20 employees. From the results that have been obtained it is stated that the employees of the Auto 2000 Denpasar administration require intense training before holding a job rotation from the calculations obtained through individual analysis assessment indicators obtained an average of 43.06% included in the must know category with the average category lowest of 0-50% which means that employees really must be considered and must know the capabilities possessed by these employees. From these results it is possible to determine the training needed by providing job instruction learning, coaching, and temporary assignments.

Abstract

The Research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Heartist Training Program and Verbal communication towards employee performance at Novotel Bali Nusa Dua. Using the simple random sampling technique through the formula Slovin got respondents as many as 72 employees of Novotel Bali Nusa Dua. The analytical techniques used are descriptive statistical analyses. Based on the results of this study is that the minimum value of a variable training program heartist (X1) is 26 and a maximum value of 37, with an average value of 31.95 and a standard deviation of 2.89. The communication variable (X2) has a minimum value of 15 and a maximum value of 23, with an average value of 19.62 and a standard deviation of 2.23. The employee (Y) performance variable has a minimum value of 25 and a maximum value of 33, with an average value of 29.26 and a standard deviation of 2.52. This suggests that training and verbal communication programs are important factors in improving employee performance. The effectiveness of both factors became an effort in the company.

Abstract

The work performance of LPD employees in Dukuh Village, Sidemen District, Karangasem Regency has decreased, marked by a fairly high level of absenteeism every month. This study aims to determine the effect of workload on employee performance, the effect of workload on employee performance, and the effect of job satisfaction and workload on employee performance. The population in this study were 21 employees of the Village Credit Institution (LPD) Pakraman Dukuh Village, Sidemen District, Karangasem Regency. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression testing, F-test, and testing the coefficient of determination (R2). The results of research on multiple linear regression analysis show that the workload variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and the workload variable has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Through testing the coefficient of determination (Adjusted R Square), a value of 0.438 or 43.8% is obtained, meaning that employee performance is influenced by job satisfaction and workload by 43.8%, while the remaining 56.2% is influenced by other variables. Company leaders should pay attention to aspects that can increase employee job satisfaction such as satisfaction with the salary received by employees, support from colleagues who support each other, and leaders provide motivation and attention to employees.

Abstract

The purpose of the study, among others, is to analyze the income of farmers producing rice for the community’s economy. The study was conducted on 6 sample farmers in the Asak Adat Village in the Karangasem District, Karangasem Regency, Bali. Data collection is done by interview and documentation techniques. The analytical tool used is income analysis. The results showed that the results calculated by the method of analysis of farm income according to Soekarwati (2006: 58). Shows that the income of rice farmers in terms of the average yield per acre is Rp. 186,160 and the average income per 3 months is only Rp. 3,210,000 which is far below the minimum wage, so the results of this study show that farmers who earn below the minimum wage are not sufficient for their daily needs and cannot even guarantee long-term or future life. The factors of area of arable land, the amount of effective labor, the amount of fertilizer, the amount of pesticides, the experience of farmers in trying to farm, the distance of the farmer’s house to arable land, and the irrigation system have a very significant effect on increasing the production of lowland rice, whereas, the experience of farmers has no effect ( non significant) to increase paddy rice production.

Abstract

Denpasar City Government has established Sewakadharma as the work culture of the entire apparatus by adopting Hindu religious values and Balinese culture, namely sudharma, sudira, susatya, subrata, and susila. Human resource management plays an important role in the implementation of the Sewakadharma work culture in the Denpasar City Government. Through a qualitative study that is based on content analysis of Denpasar Mayor Regulation Number 38 of 2018, the role of human resource management is to encourage the creation of Sang Sewakadharma, which is an apparatus capable of implementing the values of the Sewakadharma work culture. Human resource management includes aspects of policy influence, the flow of apparatus utilization, reward systems, and work systems in realizing Sang Sewakadharma.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of intrinsic motivation, work discipline, and work environment on employee performance at PT Bali Adventure Tours. The population in the study were all employees of PT Bali Adventure Tours, totaling 109 respondents. Methods of data analysis using Validity Test, Reliability Test, Multiple Linear Regression Test, and Hypothesis Test (test). Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that intrinsic motivation has a significant positive effect on the performance of PT Bali Adventure Tours employees as indicated by the t-count value of 1.204 sig 0.001 and a significant value less than ¬a = ¬ 0.05 (0.001 <0.05). Work discipline has a significant positive effect on the employee performance of PT Bali Adventure Tours, indicated by the tcount value of 2.598 sig 0.001 and a significant value less than a = 0.05 (0.001 <0.05). The work environment has a significant effect on the employee performance of PT Bali Adventure Tours, indicated by the t-count value of 5.035 sig 0.000 and a significant value less than a = 0.05 (0.000 <0.05). The conclusion is that all independent variables have a positive and significant effect on the dependent variable. From the analysis, work environment variables have the most dominant influence on performance variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality (tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy) caring for the satisfaction of new customers in telecommunications companies in Denpasar. The research method used is quantitative. The sample in this study were 119 people taken using the purposive sampling method. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires and then processed with SPSS. The analysis shows that tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy have positive effects on customer satisfaction. Hypothesis testing partially and simultaneously of the independent variables is significant, because the significance value <0.05. The coefficient of determination shows that the ability of tangible variables, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy in explaining customer satisfaction is 62.6%. This means that Service Quality has an influence on Customer Satisfaction

Abstract

The economy in Bali relies on tourism sector, but due to the Covid-19 outbreak, regional income in Bali decreased in 2020. The tourism accommodation sector is one sort of business involved in the affected tourism industry. Bali has a large number of hotels, particularly chain hotels such as Aston, Ibis, Harris, Fave, and Horizon Hotels. When compared to local hotels, the hotel chain has the strength of a strong brand because it is more well-known. However, hotel chains in Bali were also affected by the Covid-19 outbreak, as seen by the decreased occupancy rate. As a result, the researcher investigated the role of brand image in mediating the effect of social media marketing on chain hotel booking intentions in Bali. Data was gathered by having 70 domestic tourists fill out google form questionnaire. Purposive sampling was utilized as the sample technique. SMART-PLS 3.0 was used to analyze the data. The findings of this study show that social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on brand image, that social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on booking intention, that social media marketing has a positive and significant effect on booking intention, and that the brand image variable can mediate the influence of social media marketing on booking intention.
