Abstract

Photocatalyst ceramic is a product that has the potential to be developed by MSMEs when sales and income decline. Photocatalyst ceramics act as disposable, display, and functional objects. However, it is not yet known whether MSMEs are capable of producing wall displays or table displays. The purpose of this study: to determine the potential of MSMEs to produce wall display products and table displays, to examine the differences in the ability of MSMEs to produce wall display and table display products, and to disseminate photocatalyzed ceramic products as a result of BRIN's research which has the prospect of being developed by MSMEs. The research method used is: the interview method and the list of questions, the stratified purposive sampling, and the difference test of two independent samples. The results showed: 1) The biggest opportunity for MSMEs to produce photocatalytic ceramics for wall displays is Panji Ceramic, while table display products are Grazinia Ceramic; 2) There is no difference in the ability of MSMEs to produce photocatalyzed ceramics for wall displays and table displays; and 3) Photocatalyst ceramic products resulting from BRIN's research can be developed by ceramic MSMEs, including: (a) wall displays: meru motif tiles, songket motif tiles, and earthenware lamp holders; and (b) table displays: coral leaf ashtray, classic lampshade, modern lampshade, flower vase, pyramid-shaped lampshade, and ape-patterned earthenware flower pot.

Abstract

Tourism is one of the important economic sectors in Indonesia, because industry contributes to the country's foreign exchange. Convention tourism (MICE) is one of the tourism sectors that is being held by the Indonesian government, because convention tourists are seven (7) times more consumptive than leisure tourists. This study aims to determine the implementation of a tourist convention (MICE) at Kuta Paradiso Hotel. This research was conducted with a sample of 25 people. The analysis technique used is the SWOT analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat). The results of this study indicate that in the Summary Internal Factor Analysis (IFAS) the score on strength is 2.10 and weakness is 1.09, so the value that can be used is a strength value of 2.10. In the Summary of External Factor Analysis (EFAS) the score on the opportunity is 2.03 and the challenge is 1.08, so the value that can be used is the probability value of 2.03. In the diagram, cartesius shows the position of the implementation of convention tourism (MICE) located in quadrant I is an aggressive strategy while this strategy shows a very favorable place. The implementation of convention tourism (MICE) at Kuta Paradiso Hotel has strengths and opportunities that are united and mutually supportive by using power factors to take advantage of existing opportunities.

Abstract

Indofood Fritolay Makmur is one of the largest snack companies inIndonesia and has several branch areas, one of which is in Bali. During the Covid-19pandemic, there are costs that are needed to produce good sales, namely personal sellingcosts and sales promotion costs to help increase sales in order to achieve monthlytargets. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of personal selling costs andsales promotion costs partially and simultaneously on the sale of snack products on theGT (General Trade) channel, where this study will use multiple linear regression analysistechniques with the help of the SPSS version 21 for windows program. The results of thisstudy found that personal selling costs (X1) and sales promotion costs (X2) partially andsimultaneously had a significant effect on sales (Y) in PT. Indofood Fritolay MakmurChannel General Trade Bali. While the most dominant variable that has an effect onsales is the personal selling cost variable () because it has a Beta coefficient value of0.646 compared to the value of the sales promotion cost coefficient () which is only0.453.Based on the results of the determination test, an R2 value of 0.669 is obtained,which means that the amount of contribution of the personal selling cost variable (X1)and sales promotion cost (X2) is 66.9% while 33.1% is influenced by other variables thatare not researched in this study.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on various tourism sectors in Bali. The drastic decline in the number of visitors and changes in the target market from foreign tourists to local and domestic tourists was experienced by Bali Zoo. Bali Zoo should adapt to various aspects of the company, including the promotion strategy. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Celebrity Endorsement strategy carried out by Bali Zoo in an effort to get brand awareness during the Covid-19 pandemic, including the selection procedure and content presentation in the Celebrity Endorsement strategy. The research method used is qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the Celebrity Endorsement strategy can be an effective promotional strategy during the pandemic which is carried out by barter collaboration. The success of implementing this strategy can be seen from the level of social media engagement of Bali Zoo. The procedure for selecting celebrity endorsers at Bali Zoo goes through several stages, namely: searching, screening, inviting, negotiation, arrival of celebrity endorsers, and content uploaded by celebrity endorsers. Content presentation is carried out by celebrity endorsers usually include photos or videos, tag Bali Zoo accounts and locations, include caption and hashtag.

Abstract

Dolphin tourist attraction at Lovina Beach is one of the attractions to see dolphins on the high seas which is able to attract tourists to visit, as well as being a tourist attraction in North Bali. The development of dolphin tourism attractions has been shown in the swimming pool, but the survival of the dolphins is threatened. This case study discusses the exploitation of dolphins at the Melka Excelsior Hotel. This study aims to identify and analyze problems related to the exploitation of dolphins. Dolphin tourism attractions have positive and negative impacts and follow-up is needed to enjoy safe and comfortable dolphin tourism, especially dolphin conservation. The research method used is the field observation method and literature study obtained from journals and the internet. The placement of dolphins in the pond due to conditions that are not in accordance with their natural habitat will have a direct impact on these mammals. The activity of this dolphin attraction is more directed towards exploitation so that the need for dolphin conservation for commercial purposes does not have a positive effect on the dolphins themselves and lacks attention to these mammals.

Abstract

This study aims to find out which provisions in Law Number 22 of 2019 concerning Agricultural Cultivation Systems were amended by the "Job Creation Law" (Law Number 11 of 2020). This research also aims to find out and understand the rationale and intent underlying the changes made by the Job Creation Law to Law Number 22 of 2019 concerning the Agricultural Cultivation System (hereinafter simply referred to as the Agricultural Cultivation System Law). This research further attempts to estimate predictions related to the implications of these changes by understanding the contents of the new provisions and comparing them with the contents of the amended provisions. This research data collection method is a research method / literature study, especially on primary legal materials, namely laws and regulations. The type of approach and analysis method used in this research is a qualitative approach. The definition of research with a qualitative approach is research that focuses attention on the ideas or values that underlie an act or action of the actor or an event that is related or arises or which is a consequence or result / product of the act / action. The conclusions of this study are: 1. The articles of Law Number 22 of 2019 concerning the Sustainable Agricultural Cultivation System as amended through the Job Creation Act (especially Article 31 of the Job Creation Law) are: Article 19, Article 22, Article 32, Article 43, Article 86, Article 102, and Article 108 of the Law on Sustainable Agricultural Cultivation Systems (Law Number 22 of 2019), as well as the abolition of Article 111 of Law Number 22 of 1999 concerning Sustainable Agricultural Cultivation Systems. 2. The rationale for the amendment of several laws, judging from the comparison between the old provisions and the new provisions of the amended article (comparison between the sound of the articles before and after the amendment), is the idea of providing a legal basis for the Central Government and/or Regional Governments to adopt certain policies or take certain actions related to Agriculture in order to increase Indonesia's attractiveness for investment, business and industry. 3. Things that are expected to occur after the enactment of the Job Creation Act which changes quite a number of laws to increase the attractiveness of Indonesia's investment, is the higher investor confidence and the sense of security of investors to invest in Indonesia, which in turn is expected to increase as well. the value and volume of investment from investors / business people, both from within the country and abroad.

Abstract

Fraud pada umumnya adalah sebuah tindak kecurangan yang merugikan instansi terkait. Fraud dapat terjadi disegala lini perusahaan, sehingga diperlukan bentuk usaha dari perusahaan untuk dapat mencegah terjadinya fraud. Salah satu bank yang merupakan bank daerah di provinsi bali yaitu Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD), pernah mengalami kasus berupa tindak pidana korupsi di tahun 2017. Kasus korupsi tersebut berupa pencairan kredit, maka dari itu agar tidak terulang kembali diperlukannya tindakan usaha pengendalian pencegahan kecurangan (fraud) Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh audit internal, pengendalian internal dan kualitas audit terhadap pencegahan fraud pada BPD Bali. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh karyawan BPD Bali dengan jumlah 1.374 orang. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 89 responden yang terdiri dari staf, bagian audit dan bagian keuangan BPD di wilayah Denpasar dan Badung. Tekniik pengumpukan data yaitu dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner yang diukur dengan memakai skala likert. Analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa audit internal, pengendalian internal dan kualitas audit berpengaruh positif terhadap terhadap pencegahan fraud. Hal tersebut berarti jika audit internal, pengendalian internal dan kualitas audit semakin baik, maka pelaksanaan pencegahan fraud juga akan semakin baik pada Bank Pembangunan Daerah Bali.   Fraud in general is an act of cheating that is detrimental to the relevant agency. Fraud can occur in all lines of the company, so a form of business is needed from the company to be able to prevent fraud. One of the banks which is a regional bank in the province of Bali, namely the Regional Development Bank (BPD), experienced a case in the form of a criminal act of corruption in 2017. The corruption case was in the form of disbursement of credit, therefore, to prevent it from happening again, fraud prevention control measures are needed ( fraud) The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of internal audit, internal control and audit quality on fraud prevention at BPD Bali. The population used was all BPD Bali employees with a total of 1,374 people. The number of samples in this study was 89 respondents consisting of staff, audit section and finance section of BPD in the Denpasar and Badung areas. The data collection technique is by using a questionnaire method which is measured using a Likert scale.. Data analysis uses descriptive statistical analysis and multiple linear regression. The research results show that internal audit, internal control and audit quality have a positive effect on fraud prevention. This means that if internal audit, internal control and audit quality get better, then the implementation of fraud prevention will also get better at the Bali Regional Development Bank.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penurunan laba yang dialami oleh Lembaga Perkreditan Rakyat (LPD) Bebandem Karangasem pasca Covid-19. Data diperoleh melalui pengumpulan data primer dan data sekunder dengan menggunakan observasi non-partisipatif dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif digunakan untuk menyelidiki masalah kinerja keuangan LPD Bebandem Karangasem, dengan mempertimbangkan kearifan lokal sebagai landasan utama. Hasil analisis menunjukkan fluktuasi kinerja LPD Bebandem Karangasem pasca pandemi, terkait dengan fluktuasi dalam pemberian kredit kepada nasabah. Kontribusi nilai-nilai kearifan lokal, seperti Tri Hita Karana, Pang Pade Payu, dan Menyame Braya, diyakini dapat meningkatkan kinerja lembaga. Keberhasilan LPD Bebandem Karangasem pasca Covid-19 tidak hanya ditentukan oleh faktor ekonomi, tetapi juga oleh modal sosial, termasuk nilai-nilai kearifan lokal. Sinergi antara rasionalitas dan religiusitas dalam pemahaman karmaphala juga berperan dalam membangun ketaatan nasabah dalam membayar hutang. Oleh karena itu, penelitian lebih lanjut tentang kinerja keuangan dengan menggunakan kearifan lokal sebagai dasar, termasuk nilai-nilai seperti gotong royong, sing nawang lek, ruwe bineda, karmaphala, dan nilai-nilai kearifan lokal lainnya, memiliki potensi untuk dieksplorasi.   Abstract: This research aims to analyze the decrease in profits generated by Lembaga Perkreditan Rakyat (LPR) Bebandem Karangasem post-COVID-19. The data sources consist of primary and secondary data. Data collection methods include non-participatory observation and documentary studies. The data analysis technique involves qualitative and quantitative analyses to collectively address the financial performance of LPR Bebandem Karangasem with local wisdom as its basis. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that post-COVID-19, the performance of LPR Bebandem Karangasem fluctuates. The implementation of local wisdom values such as tri hita karana, pang pade payu, and menyame braya is believed to contribute to performance enhancement. The success of LPR Bebandem Karangasem post-COVID-19 is not only influenced by economic capital but also by social capital, namely tri hita karana, pang pade payu, and menyame braya. The synergy between rationality and religiosity in karmaphala manifests in customer compliance in repaying debts. Therefore, further research on financial performance using local wisdom as a basis, including values like gotong royong, sing nawang lek, ruwe bineda, karmaphala, and other local wisdom values, holds potential for exploration.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bentuk partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengembangan Desa Wisata Coal, Kecamatan Kuwus, Kabupaten Manggarai Barat, serta untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi tingkat partisipasi masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan sumber data primer dan sekunder. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan model Miles & Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengembangan desa wisata meliputi partisipasi finansial, tenaga, material, keahlian, kreativitas, dan inovasi. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat meliputi tingkat pendidikan, akses informasi, dukungan pemerintah, dan kesadaran akan pentingnya pengembangan pariwisata lokal. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman tentang peran masyarakat dalam pengembangan desa wisata dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat guna mencapai pembangunan desa wisata yang berkelanjutan dan inklusif.   This research aims to analyze the forms of community participation in the development of Coal Tourism Village, Kuwus District, West Manggarai Regency, and to identify the factors influencing the level of community participation. The research method employed is qualitative descriptive with primary and secondary data sources. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles & Huberman model. The results indicate that community participation in the development of the tourism village includes financial, labor, material, expertise, creativity, and innovation participation. Factors influencing community participation encompass education level, access to information, government support, and awareness of the importance of local tourism development. This study contributes to understanding the role of the community in tourism village development and provides recommendations to enhance community participation for achieving sustainable and inclusive tourism village development.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan iklim organisasi terhadap kinerja pegawai di Balai Penjaminan Mutu Pendidikan Provinsi Bali. Dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui survei kuesioner yang disebar kepada 57 responden, dan dianalisis menggunakan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dampak positif yang signifikan dari gaya kepemimpinan transformasional (t = 5,943, p = 0,000) terhadap kinerja pegawai, sementara iklim organisasi, meskipun berkaitan positif, tidak menunjukkan signifikansi individual (t = 1,200, p = 0,235). Secara simultan, kedua variabel secara signifikan berkontribusi terhadap kinerja pegawai (F = 20,183, p = 0,000). Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman tentang pentingnya gaya kepemimpinan transformasional dan iklim organisasi dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai, serta memberikan wawasan bagi praktik manajemen kepemimpinan dan organisasi.   This study aims to examine the influence of transformational leadership style and organizational climate on the performance of employees at the Bali Province Education Quality Assurance Institute. Using a quantitative approach, data was collected through questionnaire surveys distributed to 57 respondents, and analyzed using SPSS. The results reveal a significant positive impact of transformational leadership style (t = 5.943, p = 0.000) on employee performance, while organizational climate, though positively related, does not exhibit individual significance (t = 1.200, p = 0.235). Simultaneously, both variables significantly contribute to employee performance (F = 20.183, p = 0.000). This study sheds light on the importance of transformational leadership and organizational climate in enhancing employee performance, offering insights for leadership and organizational management practices.
