Abstract

Today, many hadiths with a weak status (ḍa`īf) or even false (mauḍū`) become the basis of worship. In addition, these two types of weak hadith are also still widely spread in some turats (yellow) books that are often studied in some pesantren. On this basis, the researcher is interested in studying the hadiths quoted by one of the eminent scholars of the archipelago, Sheikh Imam Nawāwī al-Bantanī, through some of his works, among them are the book Naṣā’iḥul `Ibād and Sullam al-Munājah. In connection with this, the researcher found that there are some hadiths with weak status, even isra`iliyat found in the book Naṣā’iḥul `Ibād. However, it has been known that this book is a genre of Sufism, most of its content leads to the study of morality and motivates pious deeds (fadha`ilul a’mal). So according to some scholars, a weak hadith that contains about fadha`ilul ‘amal can be practiced as long as it aims to motivate goodness and not in the realm of law, worship, and monotheism. In contrast to the other book, Sullam al-Munājah, whose content is more on jurisprudence, in this case, Imam Nawawi only quoted some of his authentic hadith. However, it would be good for a dai or khatib and also some pesantren to review the hadis that will be delivered, because the hadith are words and actions that are based on the noble figure of the Prophet Muhammad and become the second main source of Islamic law after the al-Qur’ān al-Karīm.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Meskom Village. This study aims to determine the values of Islamic education contained in the Zapin dance in Meskom village, Bengkalis sub-district, and instill these values in children. This research is field research conducted in the Zapin village of Meskom, Bengkalis district. The subjects in this study were the head of Zapin in the village of Zapin, Bengkalis district, and the object of this study was the values of Islamic education found in Zapin dance. The population taken by the author in this study amounted to the head of the studio. To support the research data, the author uses observation, interview, and documentation techniques, while for data analysis techniques, qualitative descriptive analysis techniques are used. Based on research conducted by the author, the values of Islamic education contained in the Zapin Kampong Zapin dance, Meskom Village, Bengkalis District, have Islamic educational values. It can be seen from the research that educational values have been applied in daily life in Meskom village.

Abstract

The goals of this study were to create appropriate online module-based English learning materials for STAIN Bengkalis's First-Year Students in order to provide them with diverse English knowledge and to learn about the First-Year Students' reactions to the module design. This research was research and development (R&D). The module's participants were STAIN Bengkalis first-year students from three different majors (N=50), with the sample drawn using a random sampling technique. In this study, questionnaires and observation sheets were used as instruments. The needs analysis questionnaire was used to gather information about the students' needs, and the try-out questionnaire was used to gather information about the students' agreement with the module. The collected data were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. This research has resulted in a set of applicable online module-based English materials for First-Year Students. The product came with eight menus. They are the Exercises, Grammar Focus, and Useful Information menus, as well as the Useful Vocabulary, Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking menus. All of the activities or tasks were created with the students' needs and preferences in mind. With the indication of students' try-out questionnaire means ranging from 3.2 to 3.55 (4 points Likert Scale) in terms of content, module component, and design, the product was deemed applicable and appropriate. This result demonstrates that students respond positively to the designed online module-based English materials.

Abstract

Kabupaten Bengkalis sebagai wilayah yang berbatasan dengan negara-negara tetangga menjadi rawan terhadap hilangnya rasa nasionalisme di kalangan siswa SMA. Asumsi awal menyebutkan hilangnya rasa nasionalisme di kalangan siswa disebabkan pembelajaran sejarah tidak diterima dengan baik dan kurang menarik. Kajian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif naturalistik dengan mengkombinasikan studi pustaka dan lapangan, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui penelusuran, observasi dan wawancara dengan teknik analisis data induktif. Temuan kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa nasionalisme di kalangan siswa SMA di Kabupaten Bengkalis masih sangat rendah karena pembelajaran sejarah belum mengakomodir potensi geografis dan historis yang ada. Implementasi pembelajaran sejarah hanya melalui pendidikan wawasan kebangsaan, sehingga upaya imlementasi pembelajaran belum efektif. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi metode pembelajaran sejarah diantaranya adalah relevansi model, relevansi metode, problematika dan stagnansi metode pembelajaran Sejarah. Pembelajaran sejarah harus dibuat menarik dan menyenangkan. Selain metode-metode yang ada, metode study wisata atau study tour yang dikolaborasi dengan metode diskusi aktif merupakan metode yang ideal untuk pembelajaran sejarah dengan mengintegrasikan kebesaran dan kekuasaan Allah swt di Sekolah Menengah Atas di Kabupaten Bengkalis.

Abstract

The law of inheritance is very closely related to the scope of human life because every human being has two conditions that are life and death. Most of the existing laws in the science of inheritance or Faraidh are related to death, so Faraidh can be said to be half of the existing knowledge, all people would need it, including the indigenous people of Malay Bunut. The tradition in the Malay Bunut community is a combination of the matrilineal Minangkabau system and the patriarchal Malay system. The majority of Bunut people claim to be from the Malay Peninsula, while some of them claim to be from Minangkabau. But in the kinship system, the Malay traditional community of Bunut is more inclined towards the matrilineal system and divided into several tribes. In the inheritance system, the daughter tends to get more from their parents. Nevertheless, boys control traditional practice. There are even cases of inheritance, where boys take all the inheritance from their parents without sharing it with their sisters. The article is intended to find out how the actual distribution of inheritance according to the Malay Bunut tradition is and the extent of the role of traditional leaders in the distribution of inheritance, as well as their position in the Compilation of Islamic Law.

Abstract

This study was aimed to find out the comparison between student’s speaking skill and to find out some of the factors that influenced it. Based on that the researcher want to compare between using Direct Method with Flash Card Media and Audio Lingual Method with Look Say Exercise Technique in improving student’s speaking skill by practice. In this study, the researcher used comparative research by using the comparison of two classes. The subject of this study were the tenth grade students of MAN 2 pekanbaru and the object of this study were Direct Method with Flash Card Media and Audio Lingual with Look and Say Exercise technique and speking skill, the population of study were 379 students of MAN 2 pekanbaru , the sample of this study were 67 students, the instrument to collect the data used (1) Test and (2) documentation, the analysis was used SPSS V.16.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the improvement of speaking skill among students of Arabic Language Education at Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri Bengkalis through direct strategies by Rebecca L. Oxford. This is a descriptive qualitative research where the observation and documentation are applied to collect the data from 16 respondents. These respondents are selected through the total sampling technique from the students of Arabic Language Education at Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri Bengkalis for 2019/2020 academic year. The result of this research shows the improvement of speaking skill among students of Arabic Language Education at Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Negeri Bengkalis is very significant. In addition, direct strategies by Rebecca L. Oxford are effective in improving students speaking skill.

Abstract

Arabic language teachers and educational material compilers put all their skills and energy into enabling learners to master three competencies: linguistic, communicative and cultural. Text books, among other types of books, have a special place in the cultural development of this society. It is a repository of knowledge, a transmitter of culture, a center for the educational process, a means of communication between generations, and the main source of information for many teachers. The books used at the Islamic University of Imam Bonjol Padang are basic books for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers at Umm Al-Qura University, while the background of the students in this private university is diverse, some of them graduated from Islamic high school and some of them graduated from public high school. This study uses a mixed method, which combines a qualitative approach and a quantitative approach because it will present and analyze the effectiveness of the use of the book Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers at the Islamic University of Imam Bonjol Padang. Based on the exposure and analysis of previous data regarding the effectiveness of the use of basic books (evaluation studies at the Islamic University of Imam Bonjol Padang), the results of the research are presented as follows: First: With regard to the contents of the basic book in terms of linguistic elements, language skills and culture. In terms of integration, this book takes into account the various language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. In terms of integration, this book also discusses all linguistic elements, namely sound, vocabulary, and structure. And in terms of grammar, there are structures that are presented based on the principle of similarity and the number of new structures in one lesson is appropriate, and training on structures is appropriate.

Abstract

Keinginan para imigran Muslim di Belanda untuk mengenyam pendidikan berbasis budaya dan agama dapat dipahami sebagai upaya untuk melindungi budaya dan identitas mereka sebagai Muslim. Upaya mereka untuk mendirikan madrasah di negeri ini, meskipun dijamin oleh Undang-Undang Dasar Negara, namun pada tataran praktis seringkali sulit diwujudkan. Reaksi dari luar komunitas Muslim dalam masyarakat Belanda seringkali negatif terhadap pendidikan Islam. Pendapat yang saling bertentangan itu kritis dan menganggap pendidikan Islam di Belanda tidak diinginkan karena dapat memperlambat proses integrasi ke dalam masyarakat Belanda. Tulisan ini mengeksplorasi pendidikan Islam di Belanda dari perspektif sejarah, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan realisasinya oleh imigran Muslim di negara ini, dan membahas peran pendidikan Islam dalam masyarakat Belanda.

Abstract

Gerakan revolusi yang dipimpin oleh Khomeini, berhasil menumbangkan sistem monarki dan mendirikan negara republik dengan menerapkan syariat Islam dalam kehidupan bernegara dan bermasyarakat, sesuai dengan mazhab syiah Itsna’ Asyariyah. Setelah revolusi Islam Iran tahun 1979, sistem pendidikan Iran mengalami perubahan yang sangat mendasar, semua upaya pendidikan serta pengajaran harus sesuai dengan prinsip-prinsip Islam. Upaya-upaya pendidikan juga harus diarahkan pada penggunaan al-Quran, tradisi Islam, dan konstitusi republik Islam Iran sebagai dasar dalam merumuskan tujuan dan sasaran pendidikan.  Iran menyediakan sarana cuma-cuma bagi para pemuda dan anak-anak sampai tingkat Sekolah Menengah Pertama. Metode pengajaran menggunakan hafalan. Kurikulum pendidikan Islam di Iran menganut sistem sentralistik yang kurikulum diatur oleh pemerintah pusat. sedangkan perguruan tinggi, di mana dosenlah yang menentukan isi mata kuliahnya. Madrasah tertua berada di iran seperti madrasah miyan dahiyah, al-bahaqiyah, dan Nizhamiyyah
