Gender diversity in the banking sector is increasingly becoming an important issue, especially in the context of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The results of the analysis show a significant increase in the number of publications and citations, indicating a growing research interest in this field. The findings also indicate that companies with higher gender on the board of directors tend to have better levels of CSR engagement and improve corporate reputation. This study underlines the importance of leadership training programs for women and policies that support work-life balance as part of CSR initiatives. The conclusion of this study is that gender integration in CSR strategies can improve overall company performance. A systematic approach to promoting gender equality not only contributes to a positive reputation, but also creates a more inclusive and innovative work environment, which in turn can encourage desire and growth in the banking sector. This study provides insights for stakeholders in developing policies that support gender diversity in the financial industry.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of professional identity and resilience on employees' intentions to leave their jobs, focusing specifically on employees at PT XYZ, an early-stage startup. Job satisfaction, work engagement, and burnout serve as hypothesized mediating variables, playing a crucial role in determining the relationship between professional identity, resilience, and turnover intention. The aim of this research is to explore how each of these psychological constructs impacts turnover intention, particularly within a startup context where employee retention poses a significant challenge. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through structured questionnaires completed by PT XYZ employees. The analysis results show that professional identity and resilience significantly contribute to increased job satisfaction and work engagement, as well as decreased burnout levels, which subsequently lower employees' turnover intentions. These findings offer practical implications for startup management in retaining employees, including strengthening professional identity, fostering resilience through targeted training, and providing equitable compensation. These recommendations are expected to help startups enhance employee retention, as workforce sustainability remains a critical factor for growth during the early stages of a company’s development.

Abstract

The graduation outcomes and character development of students rely significantly on the effectiveness of teachers, both in the classroom and in extracurricular settings. High-performing teachers are more likely to meet instructional targets, whereas low teacher performance can disrupt the teaching process and negatively impact student learning outcomes. A total of 103 respondents were selected through purposive sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out via questionnaires, followed by analyses including descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, normality tests, classical assumption tests, and coefficient of determination analysis. The findings reveal that work motivation significantly and positively influences teacher performance. The analysis yielded an adjusted R-square value of 0.495, suggesting that the independent variables—work motivation, intellectual intelligence, and emotional intelligence—together explain 49.5% of the variation in teacher performance, with the remaining 50.5% being influenced by factors outside the scope of this. Additionally, intellectual and emotional intelligence were found to have a positive impact on teacher performance.Implications for School Leadership and Stakeholders The results underscore the importance of school principals serving as role models by exemplifying high work motivation and possessing adequate levels of intellectual and emotional intelligence to inspire and enhance teacher performance. Furthermore, schools are encouraged to implement targeted professional development programs aimed at improving these critical attributes among teachers. Such initiatives might include structured training sessions, mentoring opportunities, and comprehensive support systems to address professional challenges. By fostering a conducive and supportive work environment, these measures can significantly enhance teacher effectiveness and, by extension, educational outcomes.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of family support and flexible working arrangements on driver retention within the gig economy, specifically focusing on Grab drivers in Malang, Indonesia. A quantitative survey of 400 drivers was conducted to collect data, which was then analyzed using multiple linear regression. Results indicate that family support significantly positively impacts driver retention, providing emotional stability and motivation. While flexible working arrangements alone did not significantly affect retention, they complement family support in fostering work-life balance. These findings contribute to the growing body of research on the gig economy by highlighting the importance of both social and organizational factors in driving employee retention. The study offers practical implications for platform companies seeking to enhance driver satisfaction and reduce turnover.
