Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the Maghrib Isya Mengaji (MIM) program as an innovation in mosque-based Quranic learning at At-Taqwa Mosque, Simorejo, Surabaya. The program is designed to improve the quality of Quranic recitation among the community, particularly the elderly, using the talaqqi method, which involves direct guidance from professional instructors. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The informants include mosque management (takmir) and congregants actively participating in the program. The findings reveal that the MIM program has successfully improved participants' Quranic recitation skills in terms of fluency and the application of tajweed rules. Additionally, the program has had a positive spiritual impact, such as increasing participants’ connection to the Quran, fostering motivation for more frequent Quranic recitation, and strengthening social relationships between congregants and the mosque. Supporting factors for the program's success include full support from the mosque management, adequate facilities, and the enthusiasm of the congregants. However, challenges remain, such as participants' reluctance to learn due to embarrassment, limited time, and the occasional absence of competent instructors. In conclusion, the MIM program is effective in facilitating inclusive and sustainable mosque-based Quranic learning, providing a solution for busy individuals to continue improving their Quranic literacy. The results of this study are expected to serve as a reference for other mosques to implement similar programs, reinforcing the mosque's role as a center for education and Islamic civilization. Abstract

This study seeks to find and implement fresh approaches that would help to solve local language learning issues in the age of globalization. The dominance of global languages like English and Arabic has the potential to influence the existence of local languages, hence creative ideas such the integration of digital technologies, project-based learning and multicultural methods are requiredThe study examines the impact of globalisation on young people's interest in local languages and the importance of an appropriate educational environment. The final plans aim to increase educational motivation, preserve cultural identity and ensure the viability of local languages in the context of globalisation. This study employs Miles and Huberman interactive model analysis using a descriptive qualitative methodology involving data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing/verification. Interviews, observations, documentary research, and subsequently data reduction helped to keep the analysis's focus via means of data. Due to variances in the linguistic systems between the santri's native tongue and Arabic, local language interference in Arabic language learning becomes a major obstacle, particularly in phonological and morphological elements. Strong techniques to overcome this include extensive phonetic practice, contextual morphological approaches and the incorporation of technology such learning software and interactive media (Mayer, Cognitive Theory of Multimedia Learning). By lowering language barriers and raising motivation, multicultural approaches help to establish an inclusive learning environment (Banks, Multicultural Education). Furthermore, the language immersion approach works well for raising Arabic language competency (Krashen, Second Language Acquisition; Vygotsky, Sociocultural Theory), hence the mix of these techniques is projected to maximise learning and greatly lower integration.

Abstract

This research aims to implement coping strategies to address anxiety in Arabic language at MA Al Amiriyah Banyuwangi. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study type, where data is collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants include the principal, the Curriculum Deputy, Arabic language teachers, and students. The research results show that coping strategies such as creating a supportive environment, using active learning methods, providing positive feedback, and using visual media are effective in reducing anxiety in learning Arabic. The conclusion of this research is that a holistic and collaborative approach, involving all stakeholders, is the key to creating an inclusive and effective learning environment to address Arabic language anxiety.

Abstract

This study examines how using QuillBot impacts students' Arabic translation skills using a quantitative quasi-experimental methodology and a pretest-posttest questionnaire. Sixty students from KH. Mukhtar Syafaat University Banyuwangi participated in the study. They were divided into two groups: one used QuillBot, and the other used traditional methods for translation. The experimental group performed significantly better on the post-test than the control group, according to the statistics. QuillBot considerably enhanced pupils' Arabic translation abilities, according to independent t-test research (t-value = 5.47, p < 0.05). The results of tests for homogeneity and normality provided further evidence of the validity and trustworthiness of the data gathered. This study adds to the larger conversation about AI-assisted learning, especially as it relates to the understudied field of Arabic translation. The findings emphasize the importance of integrating AI tools while maintaining foundational language skills to prevent overreliance on digital platforms. Abstract

Pendekatan Pembelajaran Mendalam merupakan strategi penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran PAI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi proses transformasi pembelajaran PAI, tantangan dan peluang implementasi pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam, serta pengaruhnya terhadap pemahaman dan partisipasi siswa di SMP Muhammadiyah Margasari. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus, dilengkapi teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam pembelajaran PAI, baik dari segi pemahaman konseptual maupun partisipasi aktif siswa. Siswa tidak hanya memahami nilai-nilai agama secara teoretis, tetapi juga mampu merefleksikan dan menerapkannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa tantangan seperti perlunya pelatihan guru dan penguatan infrastruktur digital. Secara keseluruhan, pendekatan pembelajaran mendalam berpotensi menjadi model pembelajaran PAI yang efektif dalam mendukung visi Merdeka Belajar. Sebagai saran, diperlukan peningkatan kapasitas guru dan pengembangan modul berbasis proyek untuk memperkuat implementasi pembelajaran

Abstract

This research investigates how Behaviorism could help high school students choose Arabic words.  This research will demonstrate how behaviorist teaching approaches affect word learning, therefore offering insightful analysis for theory and practical use.  The Arabic language is taught at MAN 3 Banyuwangi using behaviorism, this research looks at how. It uses a descriptive qualitative approach.  Data were gathered by observing, interviewing, and analyzing documents, and then examined using theme analysis.  Data validation was performed through triangulation, member checking, and peer debriefing to ensure the correctness and trustworthiness of the study results. The implementation of behaviorist learning methods at MAN 3 Banyuwangi has substantially improved the Arabic language and written skills of students, as evidenced by this research.  The drill method facilitates the retention of information through practice, while support enhances students' confidence and motivation. Using game tools like Kahoot and Quizizz helps people understand ideas quickly, makes lessons more engaging, and provides instant feedback, which improves the learning process. Abstract

This study investigates the impact of participation in public speaking extracurricular activities on the critical thinking skills of elementary school students. Utilizing a quantitative ex-post facto design, the research involved a saturated sample of 10 students enrolled in the public speaking program at SD Muhammadiyah PK Baturan. A written test instrument, developed based on critical thinking indicators and contextual student experiences, was used for data collection. Data were analyzed through simple linear regression. Validity and reliability tests confirmed that the instrument met appropriate measurement standards. The hypothesis testing revealed a significant effect of public speaking participation on students’ critical thinking skills (p < 0.001), with an R² value of 0.843, indicating that 84.3% of the variance in critical thinking skills is explained by students’ involvement in the activity. Abstract

This study aims to: Determine the application of the Group Resume method in increasing student activity and the positive and negative impacts of using the Group Resume method in Islamic Religious Education learning for grade 10 at SMK Batik 1 Surakarta. The researcher used qualitative research, which in this study is descriptive, for a case study at SMK Batik 1 Surakarta. The results show the use of the Group Resume method, a learning method carried out in groups of 5-6 students, then students' results are presented in front of the class to be listened to by other groups. The positive impact of using this method is that students understand the material because they search and explore the material, then work together and exchange opinions. The negative impact is that it requires a lot of time for students who should not exceed the allotted time and there are differences of opinion among students

Abstract

Academic supervision should focus on providing assistance to teachers in the learning process, through constructive feedback and support for the development of teaching skills. This study aims to explore teachers' perceptions and experiences regarding academic supervision feedback at Muhammadiyah 1 Baturetno Vocational High School (SMK) in 2025. Academic supervision is a crucial instrument in improving the quality of teaching, but its effectiveness is highly dependent on the quality and utilization of the feedback provided. This study used a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach to explore in depth the meaning of academic supervision feedback from the teachers' perspective. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis.
