KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah was first published in April 2013 in printed and online form published since 30 April 2018 by Department of Non Formal Education, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Padang. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah equipped with ISSN (p): 2354-693X and ISSN (e): 2655-3163, published twice a year in April and October. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah education contains articles from research and/ or analytical-critical in the field non-formal education specifically edult education study, community education, training and development of human resources, counseling, and community development. The spesification purpose are intended to explore, develop and explain the knowladge of history, philosophy, principles, policies, designs, and technologies that are used and developed in non-formal education services. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah have a role and participates in efforts to support the preservation of scientific traditions derived from the theoretical study of researchers and the practical experience of education practitioners.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of family resilience literacy activities through P2K2 activities in the family hope program in the city of Bogor, a case study in Tanah Sareal sub-district with a total number of PKH participants as many as 4890 heads of families, spread over 11 (eleven) villages, divided into 131 groups. assistance in each village according to the conditions of each facilitator and assisted area. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. The results of the study illustrate how family resilience literacy activities through group meetings called Family Development Sessions or better known as Family Resilience Enhancement Meetings, which will be abbreviated as P2K2.

Abstract

The training has elements such as training containing the objectives to be achieved, training takes place outside the school system, and training provides knowledge and skills to improve the quality of life. The process of community empowerment through out-of-school education is actually an effort that enables the community with all its empowerment to empower itself. With the center of activity should be in the hands of the people themselves with starting point from the community, carried out by the community and its benefits for the community or in other terms community-based education. The condition of women in Indonesia today is very alarming, women are seen as weak and only considered as someone who is only able to carry out their duties as a housewife. In addition, with the patriaki culture still prevailing in Indonesian society. The state of patriarchal culture directly or indirectly places women in the lower classes after men. Finally what happens is the dichotomy, which is the ruling society and the ruling humans. To free the situation of mastering and being controlled, liberation must be carried out through the process of empowering those who are controlled (empowerment of the powerless). Empowerment or empowerment can be interpreted as providing power or strength to someone because he is considered helpless or the strength that is so small that he can hardly do anything. In Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan Anak Kabupaten Karawang there are several fields and one of them is a field Peningkatan Kualitas Hidup Perempuan and Keluarga This field has the main task of carrying out part of the duties of the Head of Service in terms of facilitation, coordination, management, guidance and monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of women's empowerment and increasing family security. Therefore effort Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan dan Perlindungan anak in empowering women by forming groups named after them PEKKA located in the Desa Mekarjati. PEKKA is is an abbreviation of Perempuan Kepala Keluarga. This study aims to determine and describe the process of acrylic skills training, then what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in training and also how are the results of acrylic skills training in empowering women in Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan Dan Perlindungan Anak. This research is a qualitative research with case study method whose data is obtained from interviews and this research was conducted at Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan Dan Perlindungan Anak Karawang Based on the results of the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the Pelatihan Keterampilan Akrilik Dalam Pemberdayaan Perempuan in the Dinas Pemberdayaan Perempuan Dan Perlindungan Anak Karawang District has been quite successful in providing training to PEKKA members to empower women who have become PEKKA members in Desa Mekarjati Karawang Regency.Keywords: Acrylic Skills Training, Women's Empowerment.

Abstract

Adult learning is an effort aimed at self-development carried out by individuals without coercion. In applying the principles of adult learning, tutors are required to be active and adjust to the training participants. In this case, the tutor's role is not only in the training process, but starting from the tutor's performance, managing the learning environment, and evaluating the training process. Tutors have an important role in determining the success of a program. The research method uses descriptive quantitative. The technique used in sampling is purposive sampling. For the total population, the percentage of samples taken in this study was 64.5%. So the number of samples in this study were 142 people. Collecting data using a questionnaire with a Likert scale model. Data analysis techniques using percentages. The results showed that the application of Andragogy Principles by Tutors in the Life Skill Program in PKBM Se-Kabupaten Kampar was in the medium category, meaning that from the application of these andragogical principles it was necessary to make improvements to improve the quality and professionalism of tutors in order to achieve the expected adult learning objectives.Keywords: Andragogy, Life Skill Program

Abstract

Efforts to prevent the transmission of the Covid-19 pandemic in primary schools are to issue a Distance Learning (PJJ) policy. The purpose of this study was to see the responses of parents to distance learning policies in North Sumatra. The research method is descriptive with a qualitative approach. The data collection technique is in the form of a questionnaire that is distributed online via google form. Respondents of this study were parents at the SD / MI and SMP / MTs levels in 6 districts / cities partnering the Tanoto Foundation in North Sumatra Province. The data analysis used is descriptive percentage using pivoting. The total respondents were 278 people who were selected by simple random. The conclusion of this study is that 99.64% of parents stated that children had implemented the PJJ program; 94% of parents stated that they participated in guiding their children at home; 96% stated that they had been given instructions by the teacher in guiding the PJJ program; 65% of parents stated that they felt comfortable with PJJ activities.

Abstract

Despiantini (1610631040010). Vocational training of electric welding for youth in Entrepreneurial Training Hall (BLK) Kab. Purwakarta. School of Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Sciences, University of Singaperbangsa Karawang, 2020.The background of this study was the many unemployment that existed in Kab. Purwakarta which is mainly from the youth circles, and lack of skills among others in electric welding so lost to compete in the workforce. Thus the problem formulation of this research is how the implementation and results of vocational training of electric welding for the youth in entrepreneurship at the Training Hall (BLK) Kab. Purwakarta. The purpose of this research is to obtain an overview of the implementation and outcome of vocational training of electric welding for the youth in Entrepreneurship at the Kab work Training Hall. Purwakarta. The foundations of the theory used in this research include the concept of training. Training is a process of educative interaction between citizens studying with the training components. The training components include: raw input (raw input), instrumental input (input), environmental input, process, output (output), other input, and outcome (influence)... This study used a qualitative approach with a case study method conducted at Kab Training Hall (BLK). Purwakarta. The number of research subjects was five respondents, one organizer, an instructor, and three people. The data collection techniques used in this study are observations, interviews, and documentation analysis. The stages involved in this training include the orientation stage, the exploration stage, and the member check stage.The results of the study as follows: (1) Kab Working Training Hall (BLK). Purwakarta has been conducting vocational training for electrical welding through planning, implementation, and assessment of 28 days of training @ 10 hours lessons/day with 16 people who study trained by one person instructor, and (2) District Training Hall (BLK). Purwakarta has trained 16 people of citizens learn in the mastery of SMAW 2G welding skills in accordance with the prevailing standards. Advice on the implementation of electrical welding vocational training among others so that the BLK can be equipped with electric tools that are still lacking.Keywords: training, welding electricity, entrepreneurship

Abstract

The decrease of agricultural and plantation land in the East Penfui area because of many lands have been converted into residential areas, It makes most people who work as farmers reduce their income and even cause unemployment. This research was made to overcome this issue,as alternative to local society to obtain and developing human resources by training them in life skill especially in tenun training. The training process shows the occurrence of the learning process to participants so that they can improve their abilities and performance individually to overcome their problems that are being faced. Tenun ikat are expected can be able to maintain the cultural heritage of their ancestors and good prospects for increasing income. This research was conducted at Rindu Sejahtera PKBM, Kupang in 2018. The research type of this study is qualitative research with a case study method. The subject or informant in this study determined by a purposive technique, that is, the researcher has a tendency to choose informants who are considered to know information and problems deeply and can be trusted to be a valid source of data. The subjects of this research process consisted of 5 peoples; they are one manager and four trainees. The result of this research shows : (1) the results of the training program were successfully obtained by residents learning most of the skills about weaving, most residents learned after participating in activities involving small groups and men who then independently marketed them, so they could increase funding and increase learning time, (2) the supporting factors in organizing this training are supporters in the village in the form of funds from village managers who are able to bring in facilitators who are experts in the field of weaving and the availability of appropriate facilities and infrastructure, interest in research high learning also helps support the course of training, (3)the strategic location of the training site, PKBM Rindu Sejahtera is in the middle of residential areas so it is easy for the trainees to go to during the training. The results also showed that there were several factors which became obstacles during the implementation of the training activities including, (1) relatively short training time, the training participants hoped that the implementation time could be longer so that they could know more about weaving both making patterns, modifying until the final process weaving, (2) limited tutors, tutors invited to provide guidance to the training participants are only one person, so sometimes it is difficult to divide time especially when practice is done.

Abstract

Academic procrastination behavior often occurs, will cause problems of lack of discipline, low motivation, and depletion of self-confidence. Self-confidence is a very important factor for students, because the attitude of self-confidence will make students feel that there is confidence in their abilities, optimism, objectivity, responsibility, rationality and reality, which then feel able or not to do academic tasks that become performance. The results of the level of self-confidence of students of the Community Education Study Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Riau University are at a moderate level. Academic procrastination of students of the community education study program, Faculty of Education and teacher training, University of Riau is at a moderate level. Abstract

The purpose of this ethnographic study was to reveal the family literacy practices of Baduy tribe at Lebak Regency, Banten Province. Family literacy in this paper refers to an intergenerational learning in in Baduy tribe families, which include how family learns, uses reading and writing activities to do daily task, and other literacy activities to maintain family relationship. Family literacy in Baduy is called intergenerational learning in which the learning method that is practiced in families and communities leads to the creation of a process of cultural and educational transformation in a society. This study utilizes ethnographic approach by conducting interviews with sixteen families (father and mother) and eighteen children and youth. Data analysis includes the four stages of ethnographic data analysis, namely domain, taxonomy, component and theme analysis. The results showed that family literacy in the Baduy tribe last a lifetime, starting from children aged 7 days to 10 years. The literacy activities of the Baduy family cannot be separated from the their culture and beliefs. This culture is passed down from generation to generation with an intergenerational learning approach, it is the process of delivering literacy that is practiced directly within the family.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui bagaimana kegiatan pelatihan kepramukaan di Lembaga Pemasyarakat Kelas II A Karawang. Untuk mengetahui dampak pelatihan pramuka pada Warga Binaan Pemasyarakatan ( WBP) setelah mengikuti kegiatan kepramukaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif.Teknik pengumpulan menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu: (1) Fungsi kegiatan pelatihan pramuka sudah dilakukan sesuai dengan fungsinya dimana prinsip dasar kepramukaan dapat diterapkan di kegiatan pramuka di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas II A Karawang sehingga apa yang diharapkan oleh pihak terkait bisa tepat akan sasaran. (2) Pelatihan pramuka pada warga binaan pemasyarakatan sedikit banyaknya sudah berjalan secara maksimal dimana para warga binaan sudah banyak yang merasakan dampak dari kegiatan pramuka yang menjadi salah satu program kegiatan pembinaan di Lembaga Pemasyarakatan Kelas II A Karawang. Kata Kunci: Pelatihan Pramuka, Warga Binaan

Abstract

This study aims to determine the pattern of skill management at the Community Learning Activity Center in increasing the competence of graduate learning citizens so that the results of this study are expected to be a reference for the community in an effort to improve the quality of human resources who are competing for people who have not completed formal education up to the school level. Senior High (SMA). This study uses qualitative methods to explore individual behavior in groups and understand the meaning of social problems. The data collection technique was carried out by the method of observation and semistructured interviews on research subjects consisting of PKBM managers, PKBM tutors, and PKBM learning citizens. The data analysis technique used the miles and Huberman model. The results showed: the management of the skills program at PKBM Aykos Nusa Ilmu was carried out by planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating stages. With the achievement level of competency skills, 80% of graduates meet competency standards, and as many as 20% of graduates show abilities in skills that exceed graduate competency standards.
