Abstract

Fall is a serious problem and requires high costs for patients and also for all wellness facilities. Morse Fall Score (MFS) was one of the assessments of risk of falls prevention efforts which was one of the principles of ability and behavior of nurses in doing work appropriate duties related to compliance implementation Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). One of the factors that influence nurse compliance in the implementation of SOP i.e. motivation and perceptions of nurse against their work. Motivation was one of the important things for someone in doing forefront where increasing motivation will lead to increased performance of nurses. This study aimed to know the correlation between the motivation of nurses and the implementation compliance of standard operating procedures of the risk of fall prevention inpatient care. This study used approach cross-sectional, non- probability sampling method that was purposive sampling. Statistical analysis used Spearman Rank tests with the significance value is 95% (α = 0.05). There was a significant correlation between the motivation of nurses with the standard operating procedures of implementation's compliance with the risk of fall prevention in the space of hospitalization with a p-value of 0.000 (p-value < 0.05). The correlations value (r) was 0.042 meaning forms two variable correlations were unidirectional i.e. the higher the motivation then the standard operating procedures of the implementation's compliance with the prevention of the risk of falling was also higher. There was a significant correlation between the motivation of nurse with compliance the implementation of standard operating of the risk of fall prevention in patient room. Keywords : Compliance, Motivation, Risk of fall, Standard Operating Procedure

Abstract

Stunting is a linear growth disorder of a child's body that becomes short or short based on height for age with a Z-score threshold of < -2 standard deviations. Multi-dimensional factors, including environmental factors, cause stunting. Environmental factors that cause stunting are the mother's personal hygiene, sanitation, clean water and drinking water sources. This study aimed to determine the effect of clean water sanitation facilities and household food sanitation hygiene on stunting in toddlers. Observational study with a case-control design in children aged 0-59 months in Silahisabung District, Dairi Regency. The population used in this research is 453 toddlers aged 0-59 months. Case sampling technique using total sampling. All stunting toddlers were taken as cases of 78 toddlers and 78 as controls. Using weight scales and body length measuring instruments, research data was collected using questionnaires and tools to determine the nutritional status of babies under two years old. Data processing and analysis included univariate and bivariate using the chi-square test. The results showed that there were stunted toddlers, namely 61.5% did not have access to water facilities that met the requirements, and 44.9% of toddlers who suffered from stunting were in the age range of 21-40 months. Bivariate analysis using the chi-square test showed an effect of clean water sanitation (p=0.002, OR=2.764) and household food sanitation hygiene (p=0.004, OR=2.562) on the incidence of stunting in toddlers. Management of stunting events requires good coordination and collaboration between health workers, the government and the community in reducing risk factors. Personal hygiene will be further improved in preparing and processing food by practising the principles of food sanitation hygiene. Keywords: Food Hygiene, Sanitation, Stunting, Toddlers

Abstract

Covid-19 is an infectious disease that can cause death. Herbal medicines have anti-inflammatory properties associated with cytokine storm development. This means it prevents increases in inflammatory mediators, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), interleukin (IL)-6, and C-reactive protein (CRP). This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of using herbal packages (VCO, honey, Black Seed) as an alternative treatment for Covid-19 in the community. This research is a Quasi-experimental quantitative study with a control group design (control group design) Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design design. This research was conducted in Boyolali Regency. This research was conducted from October 2022 - January 2023. The population in this study were individuals with a history of Covid-19 disease in Boyolali Regency, 82 in December 2022. The research sampling technique was simple random sampling. The research sample consisted of 46 people consisting of the intervention group of 23 respondents and the control group of 23 respondents. The research instruments were questionnaires, observation forms, and other forms, and measurements were made using a sphygmomanometer, oxymeter, and thermometer. Analysis of bivariate analysis research data using the Paired Sample t-test, Independent Sample t-test, and the help of the SPSS software computer application. The analysis results obtained the p-value for saturation measurement in the treatment group, namely p = 0.024 <0.05, and for temperature measurements, p = 0.014 <0.05, so it can be concluded that herbal packages are effective as an alternative treatment for the Covid-19 virus in the community. It is known that most respondents in the treatment group felt better after consuming the herbal package. Herbal packages have proven effective in dealing with the sequelae caused by Covid-19 and are effective as a companion to the treatment of Covid-19 patients. Keywords:  Black Seed, Covid-19, Effectiveness, Honey, Virgin Coconut Oil

Abstract

Fatigue is a mechanism in which the body has to warn that something is disturbing the body, and it can recover after resting. Fatigue is one of the factors causing work accidents which causes as many as 2 million workers to die each year, and as many as 18,828 people (32.8%) out of 58,115 samples experience fatigue at work. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of physical and mental workload as well as energy intake on the work fatigue of nurses in the inpatient room of Dr. Pirngadi Regional General Hospital. This quantitative study uses a cross-sectional design using a proportional random sampling technique. The sample in this study was the nurse in the Inpatient Room at Dr. Pirngadi Regional General Hospital, namely as many as 63 nurses. Work fatigue was measured using a reaction timer, the physical workload was measured using pulse calculations, the mental workload was measured using the NASA-TLX questionnaire, and energy intake was measured using the estimated food record questionnaire. The data analysis used was univariate, bivariate with the Pearson Correlation test and multivariate with the Multiple Linear Regression test. The results of the Pearson Correlation test analysis showed that there was a significant influence between physical workload on work fatigue (p = 0.001, r = 0.424), mental workload on work fatigue (p = 0.002, r = 0.385), and energy intake on work fatigue (p = 0.0005, r = -0.477). At the same time, the results of the Multiple Linear Regression test analysis showed that the R Square value was 0.412 or 41.2%. Thus it can be concluded that 41.2% of the causes of work fatigue can be explained through the variables of physical workload, mental workload and energy intake in nurses in the Inpatient Room of Dr. Pirngadi Regional General Hospital. Keywords:  Energy Intake, Fatigue, Inpatient Room

Abstract

One house one larva monitor movement is a dengue vector control program of the Ministry of Health which has been promoted since 2016. However, there are still several areas that have not been successful in implementing this movement, one of which includes the City of Padang. The purpose of this study was to examine the importance of using digital applications in implementing dengue vector control programs. This research is a research with qualitative methods using the case study genre through a constructivist approach. The location of the qualitative research was carried out at the Padang City Health Office, in the working areas of the Nanggalo Health Center, Pagambiran Health Center, and Rawang Health Center which were designated as research areas. This research was conducted in 2023 with informants including the person in charge of the dengue fever program at the Padang City Health Service, the person in charge of the dengue fever program at the Community Health Center, and the larva monitoring coordinator. The results of the study indicate that efforts to control dengue vectors through the One House One larva monitor Movement are still not running as they should. This movement can only run when larva monitor performs its main tasks and functions in accordance with the provisions. For this reason, it is necessary to carry out coaching and supervision efforts. However, there are several obstacles that require the design of a comprehensive and integrated digital health application to improve the health information system to improve the performance of larva monitors. Keyword:  Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever , Digital Health, Vector Dengue
