Abstract

This study aims to find out how the activities of the assessment and depreciation of archives, constraints faced, and efforts made in overcoming the obstacles to the assessment and depreciation of records in the Education Office of West Sumatra Province. The method of this research is descriptive qualitative, with data sources of several key informants through interviews and direct observation to the object of research. Secondary data obtained from documents available at the location of the object of research. To test the validity of the data used Triangulation Technique. Based on the information from the informants, the archive assessment activities at the Office of Education in West Sumatra Province have not run optimally. It can be seen from the presence of archives that are piled up and not placed in the archive storage area. In addition, the depreciation activities in the West Sumatra Provincial Education Office were carried out in two ways, namely the transfer of archives and destruction of archives while the activities for submitting static archives to archival or ANRI institutions had not been implemented. Depreciation activities at the West Sumatra Provincial Education Office are not supplemented by documentary documents on the transfer and destruction of archives, lists of transferred files and other documents.

Abstract

Research is motivated by the lack of motivation and learning outcomes in the learning process. The use of appropriate learning models can increase motivation and student learning outcomes in XI-IPS High School Superior State Dharmasraya. Based on these problems the researchers applied the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model with the aim of increasing student motivation and learning outcomes in economic subjects. This research method is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles and each cycle there are three meetings. Conducting research with the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model on economic subjects includes (1) planning, (2) implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. The results of this study indicate that the application of the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model can increase motivation and learning outcomes of students of class XI IPS SMAN Unggul Dharmasraya. This is seen from the aspect of student motivation in cycle I and cycle II which increased by 17.6% and in the cognitive spec or learning outcomes in cycle I and cycle II also increased by 12%, although the increase was not too sharp but recruiting researchers this shows that the application of the Two Stay Two Stray cooperative learning model can be used to increase student motivation and learning outcomes in economic subjects.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create an atmosphere of learning and learning process so that students actively develop their potential to have spiritual spiritual strength, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and the skills needed by themselves, society, nation and state. The research design of this scientific work is qualitative and the target and target of this study is the even semester semester STKIP Panca Sakti Bekasi students with a population of 73 people with saturated sampling that is the entire population used as a sample. Which are the targets and targets of this research, namely students in semester 2, semester 4, semester 6A and semester 6B at the STKIP. The role of the Lecturer to students is by growing the love of the motherland through the nature of defending the State.Participation in defending the country for students can be manifested in various activities. The activity in question is intracuricular and extracurricular activities. Through intracuricular activities, students participate in teaching and learning activities in an orderly, disciplined, obedient to school rules already means preparing themselves as the next generation of intelligent and broad-minded nation. Whereas through extracurricular activities can be realized through scouting activities, nature lovers, sports activities, arts, journalism, teenage scientific work, Indonesian Red Cross, student regiments, anti-drug movements, and others. At this mature age, lecturers are required to play a professional role in carrying out their duties in accordance with applicable laws, namely having a social role in the life of society and the state.

Abstract

A thesis is an obligation for students who take the last semester in private and public universities as the final assignment to get a bachelor's degree. When the condition of students is not good it will lead to the tendency of academic procrastination to students. So that self-control and self-efficacy will influence the occurrence of academic procrastination. The method of data collection in this study uses quantitative research methods with a population of 114 students. The sampling technique was done by simple random sampling using the Solvin formula with 53 samples. The results of the research show several things. First, the value of t-count (-4,289)> t table (2,009) and there is a significant negative effect of self-control on student academic procrastination partially. Second, the value of t-count (-5,200)> t-table (2,009) and there is a significant negative effect on the partial self-efficacy of student academic procrastination. Third, the value of F-count (18,968) > F-table (3,18) and there is a significant influence between self-control and self-efficacy towards academic procrastination in completing the thesis on Semester Economic Education Study Program students VIII STKIP PGRI Tulungagung Year 2018/2019.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's role in make entrepreneurial character in Economics. Entrepreneurial character is something that must be developed in education. The young generation is expected to create broad jobs in the community. The formation of these characters can be done in learning through several values or indicators and adopted into economic subjects. The indicator is the locus of control, willing to bear the risk, creativity and the ability to build good social relationships. This research is a descriptive study involving MGMP of Economic Subjects in Padang City, based on the results of MGMP teacher studies the city of Padang has developed entrepreneurial character in economic subjects, but still needs to be improved in several indicators, such as creativity and building good social relations.

Abstract

Fintech, financial technology-based revolution, becomes one of the topic which interested to discuss. Fintech as the newest service, marked that the change of era is getting sophisticated. However, not all of the community members are able to maximize fintech use. One of them is undergraduate students. The purpose of this research is to know the factors which hinder the undergraduate students to use fintech by using factors formation analysis. From 13 variable, there are only 12 valid variable. The result of the analysis showed that there are four factors formed which contribute 78, 23%. The first factor is fintech based factor, second is individual factors, third is company’s management system, and fourth is political factor.

Abstract

This study to determine the effect of parental social support on class VIII student achievement in social studies subjects at SMP Angkasa Halim Perdana Kusuma, East Jakarta.The research method used is to use an associative quantitative method. The techniques of taking sample using random sampling with a sample of 68 students in Angkasa Junior High School Halim Perdana Kusuma in East Jakarta. The data used is the regression correlation analysis. It’s can be seen from the calculation of simple ANOVA. Significant correlation coefficient tests were obtained from the model summary table.This means Ho is rejected.  While the correlation coefficient of determination from the model summary table namely R square = 0.990 which means that 99 % of the variation in the social studies achievement variable is influenced by social support from parents. From analysis results is HO rejected. Thus "parents' social support has a positive result on reading achievement".

Abstract

This study aims to identify the pedagogical competence of teachers who are members of MGMP Economics in Padang City. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive. In collecting data, researchers distributed questionnaires to 32 teachers who were members of the MGMP of the Padang City Economics teacher. The results of this study indicate the average teacher's understanding of students in both categories with a mean of 2.84. Indicators of designing/planning learning are also in a good category with an average of 2.94. The indicators in implementing learning in the category are very good with an average of 3.28. The evaluation indicators of learning outcomes are in the good category with a good average and the last indicator for the development of students is in the good category with an average of 3.14. The average pedagogical ability of MGMP Teachers in Economics in Padang City is in a good category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study were 1) to determine the factors that influence service quality on cooperative PT. PLN (Persero) Region West Sumatra, (2) to determine dominant factor influencing service quality on cooperative PT. PLN. This research is an exploratory study. The study population was cooperative members which amounted to 393 people. and technique sampling which numbered 80 people. The data analysis technique used is the analysis of factors. The results showed, namely (1) the assurance factor with a value of eigenvalues of 7324, (2) the reliability factor with a value of eigenvalues of 4855, (3) The responsiveness factor with the value of eigenvalues of 1,727, (4) personal factor with eigenvalues value amounted to 1,294, (5) the empathy factor with eigenvalues value of 1,081, and, 6) the tangibles factor with eigenvalues value of 1,039. In generally the service quality can be categorized as good, because the value of eigenvalues formed above 1. The author suggests to further improve assurance factor for the most dominant factor influencing service quality on cooperative PT. PLN. reliability factor, responsiveness factor, tangibles factor, personal factor and empathy factor also need to be considered, because these factors also affect the service quality on cooperative PT. PLN (Persero) Region West Sumatra.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze (1) Effect of Education Costs on Higher Education Demand for Children in Kamang Baru Sub-district, (2) Effect of Parental Education Level on Higher Education Demand for Children in Sub-Districts Kamang Baru, (3) The influence of the desire to work in the modern sector of the demand for higher education in children in the Kamang Baru sub-district, (4) the influence of the desire to obtain high income towards the demand for higher education in children in the Kamang Baru sub-district, (5) the influence of the social status of the community on demand for higher education in children in the district of Kamang Baru. The study population of this research is families with children who had graduated from high school in Kamang Baru sub-district. The sampling technique is multistage random sampling  with a total sample of 92. Data analysis techniques using multiple regression analysis with the significance test of the t test and F. The results showed that (1) Education costs had a significant negative effect on the demand for higher education in children. (2) The level of parental education has a significant effect on the demand for higher education in children ( 3) The desire to work in the modren sector significantly influences the demand for higher education in children, (4) The desire to obtain high income has a significant effect on the demand for higher education in children (5) Public social status significantly influence the p Higher education demand for children.
