Abstract

The life of the Cirendeu indigenous people has become one of the village icons with a unique culture that is diverse in their customs and traditions. The culture of this community is classified as still holding a fairly strong tradition from its ancestors, marked by socio-cultural conditions which are prerequisite for the values of local wisdom. So that the complex substance of the values of local wisdom in the Cirendeu community can be revealed as a source of Islamic character education in this study. This research uses ethnographic methods to explore the values of local wisdom in the Cirendeu indigenous people. The results show that in the religious aspect, there are four main points, namely the prohibition of taking the rights of others, the prohibition on imposing other people's beliefs, mutual cooperation and tolerance. In the socio-cultural aspect, it shows that the indigenous people of Cirendeu are principled and adhere to the old traditions and follow the flow of changing times (protecting the time of the era). Meanwhile, the source of Islamic character education from the indigenous Cirendeu community refers to the meaning of symbolic, empirical, aesthetic, ethical, synoetic, and synoptic life.

Abstract

This research stems from the low learning activities of students in joining fiqh learning and the low cognitive learning outcomes of students in fiqh subjects. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in activity and cognitive learning outcomes of students in the class V Fiqh subject. The quantitative approach used in this study, with the Quashi experiment method nonequivalent control group (comparison group / pretest posttest) design. Data collection tools used in this study were observation and tests. Based on the results of research conducted in class V Islamic of elementary school  Al-Adzkar and Sabilil Huda in Padalarang sub-district, it shows that the application of the team game tournament model with quartet card media can increase the learning activities of students with an average increase of 76%. Likewise, the cognitive learning outcomes of students experienced a significant increase, at MI Al-Adzkar the average learning outcomes increased to 75.8 from 33.8, while at MI Sabilil Huda the average rose to 71.00 from 38, 00. AbstrakPenelitan ini bermula dari rendahnya aktivitas belajar peserta didik dalam mengikuti pembelajaran fikih serta rendahnya hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada mata pelajaran fikih. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik pada mata pelajaran fikih kelas V. pendekatan kuantitatif yang digunakan pada penelitian ini, dengan metode Quashi eksperiment nonequivalent control grup (comparison group/pretest posttest) design. Alat pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes. Berdasarkan pada hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada kelas V Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Adzkar dan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Sabilil Huda yang berada di kecamatan Padalarang menunjukan bahwa penerapan model team game tournament dengan media kartu quatet dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar peserta didik dengan rata-rata peningkatan 76%. Begitu juga dengan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signitfikan, pada MI Al-Adzkar rata-rata hasil belajar naik menjadi 75,8 dari 33,8, sedangkan pada MI Sabilil Huda rata-ratanya naik menjadi 71,00 dari 38,00.

Abstract

The present study aimed to reveal the types and numbers of problems as well as teachers’ coping efforts to help students solve their problems in Islamic education learning. This study applied a mixed method deploying a transformative congruent strategy. The population referred to 102 social science students of grade XI at MAN Curup. They were all involved as the samples at once. Subsequently, 4 Islamic education teachers and 3 supervising teachers were incorporated as the informants. The techniques of data collection deployed questionnaires in the form of a problem disclosure instrument called AUM PTSDL and structured interviews. This study uncovered that the types of learning problems experienced by students extended to those associated with prerequisites for the mastery of learning materials (P), learning skills (T), learning facilities (S), personality (D), and learning environments and socio-emotional aspects (L). The average number of problems per student was 50.67. The most problems experienced by students were those of learning skills (T) with the average of 23.6 per student. Subsequently, the least problems were those of learning facilities (S) with the average of 3.7 per student. The coping efforts the teachers made were by means of remedial activities and the provision of counseling guidance services by supervising teachers. Keywords: Types of learning problems; the number of learning problems; Islamic religious educationAbstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkapkan jenis, jumlah dan upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk mengentaskan masalah belejar siswa dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Islam.  Penelitian ini menggunakan mtode mixed methods dengan strategi transformatif konkuren. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI Jurusan IPS kelas XI MAN Curup yang berjumlah 102 orang dan sekali gus menjadi sampel penelitian. Informen penelitian terdiri dari guru yang mengajar Pendidikan Islam yang berjumlah 4 orang dan guru pembimbing berjumlah 3 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisoner berupa Alat Ungkap Masalah PTSDL dan wawancara terstruktur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis masalah belajar yang dialami oleh siswa terdiri dari masalah berkaitan dengan Prasyarat Penguasaan Materi Pelajaran (P), Keterampilan Belajar (T), Sarana Belajar (S), Diri Pribadi (D), dan lingkungan Belajar dan Sosio Emosional (L). Jumlah masalah belajar yang dialami siswa rata-rata sebesar 50.67. Masalah yang paling banyak dialami oleh siswa adalah aspek keterampilan belajar (T) dengan rata-rata sebesar 23.6 dan terendah pada aspek sarana belajar (S) dengan rata-rata 3.7 per siswa. Upaya yang dilakukan oleh guru untuk membantu mengentaskan masalah belajar siswa adalah melalui kegiatan remedial dan pemberian layanan bimbingan konseling oleh guru pembimbing. Kata Kunci : Jenis masalah belajar; jumlah masalah belajar; pendidikan agama Islam

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pendidikan karakter terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran PAI di Perguruan Tinggi. Karakter-karakter yang diintegrasikan dalam pembelajaran PAI dalam penelitian ini mengacu kepada karakter-karakter yang dibutuhkan di abad ke-21. Seorang mahasiswa yang berkarakter akan mampu berperan serta secara positif baik sebagai pribadi, sebagai anggota keluarga, anggota masyarakat, warga negara, maupun warga dunia. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian R&D dari Borg & Gall. Teknik pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi, wawancara, angket dan skala sikap. Teknik analisis data kualitatif merujuk pada tiga langkah dari Miles & Huberman. Sementara teknik analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Penelitian dilakukan di beberapa jurusan di Universitas Negeri Medan pada semester genab Tahun Akademik 2018-2019. Penelitian ini menghasilkan temuan bahwa model pendidikan karakter terintegrasi dalam pembelajaran PAI dalam penelitian ini efektif mengembangkan karakter mahasiswa terutama karakter kreatif, kerja keras dan mandiri, serta efektif mengembangkan keterampilan berkreativitas Islami dan berdakwah virtual.  Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Model; Pendidikan Karakter; Pembelajaran PAI. Abstract This study aims to develop an integrated character education model in Islamic Education learning in tertiary institutions. The characters integrated in Islamic Education learning in this study refer to the characters needed in the 21st century. A student with character will be able to participate positively both as individuals, as family members, members of society, citizens, and citizens of the world. This study used a qualitative and quantitative approach with the R&D research method from Borg & Gall. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires and attitude scales. Qualitative data analysis techniques refer to the three steps of Miles & Huberman. Meanwhile, the quantitative data analysis technique used the Wilcoxon test. Research was conducted in several departments at Medan State University in the even semester of the 2018-2019 Academic Year. This study resulted in the finding that the integrated character education model in Islamic Islamic education in this study was effective in developing student character, especially creative character, hard work and independence, and was effective in developing Islamic creativity and virtual da'wah skills. Keywords: Model Development; Character building; PAI learning.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the development of Al-Ittihadiyah education in North Sumatra. The method of this research is manuscript research supported by observations of the development of Al-Ittihadiyah education in North Sumatra. Al-Ittihadiyah is an Islamic-based community organization that has been active in the field of education. Al-Ittihadiyah has a role in the process of renewing Islamic education. One of Al-Ittihadiyah's efforts in uniting Muslims is through education. So in this case Al-Ittihadiyah intends to organize an Islamic education system that is more orderly, more modern, and organized into an organization, especially Islamic schools or colleges that have not been incorporated in a particular organization. The management of Islamic education under the auspices of Al-Ittihadiyah in achieving the ideals of Islamic religious organizations has compiled and formed an Islamic education curriculum according to the needs of Muslims. Al-Ittihadiyah continues to actively participate in organizing Islamic education more regularly and responsively to the needs of the Muslim community. In general, the educational institutions developed by the Al-Ittihadiyah organization are Islamic educational institutions, both in the style of madrassas and religious schools, as well as orphanages from elementary to tertiary levels. Al-Ittihadiyah with various developments continues to be consistent to contribute to the education of the surrounding community. AbstrakArtikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perkembangan pendidikan Al-Ittihadiyah di Sumatera Utara. Adapun metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian naskah dengan didukung observasi perkembangan pendidikan Al-Ittihadiyah di Sumatera Utara. Al-Ittihadiyah merupakan suatu organisasi masyarakat berbasis Islam yang telah memiliki kiprah dalam bidang pendidikan. Al-Ittihadiyah memiliki peran dalam proses pembaharuan pendidikan Islam. Salah satu upaya Al-Ittihadiyah dalam menyatukan umat Islam adalah melalui pendidikan. Maka dalam hal ini Al-Ittihadiyah berkeinginan dalam menyelenggarakan suatu sistem pendidikan Islam yang lebih teratur, lebih modern, dan terorganisir ke dalam suatu organisasi, khususnya sekolah-sekolah atau perguruan perguruan Islam yang belum tergabung dalam suatu organisasi tertentu. Pengelolaan pendidikan Islam dalam naungan Al-Ittihadiyah dalam mencapai cita-cita organisasi keagamaan Islam telah menyusun dan membentuk kurikulum pendidikan Islam sesuai dengan kebutuhan umat Islam. Al-Ittihadiyah terus berpartisipasi aktif dalam menyelenggarakan pendidikan Islam lebih teratur dan responsive terhadap kebutuhan masyarakat Muslim. Secara umum lembaga pendidikan yang dikembangkan organisasi Al-Ittihadiyah adalah lembaga pendidikan Islam, baik bercorak madrasah maupun sekolah-sekolah agama, serta Panti Asuhan mulai tingkat dasar sampai perguruan tinggi. Al-Ittihadiyah dengan berbagai perkembangan terus konsisten untuk berkontibusi dalam pendidikan masyarakat di sekitarnya.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to try to explore and describe the goals of education in Islam inductively by looking at the arguments of naqli that already exist in the al-Qur'an and al-Hadith, as well as integrating them in the context of the needs of society in general in education, so that the goal is expected. education in Islam can be applied to contemporary discourse and reality. The research design used is literature research with a revelatory approach to a number of verses from the Al-Qur'an about educational purposes, and interpretive books as primary data sources and journals and scientific writings as secondary data. The commentaries studied were Tafsir Al-Qur'an Al-'Adzim (Tafsir Ibn Katsir), Tafsir Al-Maraghi, and others. The commandment to make preparations, to provide everything including with the right determination and enthusiasm. The purpose of education is as guidance so that humans do not perish with the hardships they experience. Al-Qur'an is an information for every human being, guidance, explanation, teaching and warning for people who have faith. The command to manifest respect and affection for fellow human beings shows that a servant must always prostrate and repent to Allah SWT, and remind humans to always please others. Keywords: Educational Objectives; Revelation Values.  Abstrak  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah berusaha menggali dan mendeskripsikan tujuan pendidikan dalam Islam secara induktif dengan melihat dalil-dalil naqli yang sudah ada dalam al-Qur’an maupun al-Hadits, juga memadukannya dalam konteks kebutuhan dari masyarakat secara umum dalam pendidikan, sehingga diharapkan tujuan pendidikan dalam Islam dapat diaplikasikan pada wacana dan realita kekinian.  Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan pendekatan kewahyuan terhadap sejumlah ayat Al-Qur’an tentang tujuan pendidikan, dan kitab-kitab tafsir sebagai sumber data primer dan jurnal serta tulisan ilmiah sebagai data sekunder.  Kitab tafsir yang dikaji adalah Tafsir Al-Qur’an Al-‘Adzim (Tafsir Ibnu Katsir), Tafsir Al-Maraghi, dan lainnya. Perintah untuk melakukan persiapan, menyediakan segala sesuatunya termasuk dengan tekad dan semangat yang benar. Tujuan pendidikan adalah sebagai bimbingan agar manusia tidak binasa dengan kesusahan yang dialaminya. Al-Qur’an adalah penerangan bagi setiap manusia, petunjuk, penjelasan, pengajaran dan peringatan bagi orang-orang yang bertaqwa. Perintah untuk mewujudkan rasa hormat dan rasa kasih sayang sesama manusia, menunjukkan bahwa seorang hamba haruslah selalu sujud dan taubat kepada Allah Swt, serta mengingatkan kepada manusia untuk selalu menyenangkan orang lain. Kata Kunci: Tujuan Pendidikan; Nilai-nilai Kewahyuan.

Abstract

Abstrak  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran pemimpin di pondok pesantren As’ad Kota Jambi dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru. Target penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui: 1). Peran pemimpin dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru, 2). Kendala pimpinan dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru, dan bagaimana cara mengatasinya. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif, yakni menguraikan temuan penelitian secara naratif dan apa adanya. Pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan teknik obervasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Mengecek validitas data dilakukan dengan ketekunan pengamatan, triangulasi, member check, dan audit trail. Alisis data dilakukan dengan penelaahan dan reduksi data, unitisasi data, kategorisasi data, dan interpretasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa; pertama, peran pimpinan dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru adalah meliputi pemberikan reward dan punishment, ajakan kepada guru untuk bekerja secara ikhlas, peningkatan fasilitas kerja, serta menjaga kedekatan dengan para guru. Kedua, kendala pimpinan dalam meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru meliputi; 1) kekurangan dana, diatasi dengan memberikan pemahaman kepada para guru agar sama-sama memaklumi akan keterbatasan keuangan, dan berupaya memenuhi kebutuhan-kebutuhan pokok yang terjangkau dengan keuangan yang ada. 2) Keberagaman keinginan para guru, diatasi dengan memenuhi kebutuhan yang terjangkau saja, dengan harapan para guru bisa menerima keadaan yang ada. Kata Kunci: Pemimpin; Motivasi Kerja Guru; Pondok Pesantren. Abstrak This study aims to determine the role of leaders in Islamic boarding schools As'ad Jambi City in increasing teacher work motivation. The research target is to find out: 1). The role of leaders in increasing teacher work motivation, 2). Leadership constraints in increasing teacher work motivation, and how to overcome them. The method used is a qualitative method, which describes the research findings in a narrative and straightforward manner. Data collection was carried out by observation, documentation, and interview techniques. Checking the validity of the data is done by observing persistence, triangulation, member checks, and audit trail. Data analysis was carried out by analyzing and reducing data, unitizing data, categorizing data, and interpreting data. The results showed that; First, the role of leaders in increasing teacher work motivation includes giving rewards and punishments, inviting teachers to work sincerely, improving work facilities, and maintaining closeness to teachers. Second, the constraints of the leadership in increasing teacher work motivation include; 1) lack of funds, is overcome by providing an understanding to teachers so that they are equally understanding of financial limitations, and strive to meet basic needs that are affordable with existing finances. 2) The diversity of the wishes of the teachers, is overcome by meeting only affordable needs, in the hope that the teachers can accept the existing situation. Keywords: Leader; Teacher Work Motivation; Islamic boarding school.

Abstract

The problem of this research is to reveal the problems that occur about the efforts of Islamic Education teachers in improving the abilities of children with special needs in reading and writing the Koran through the Iqro 'method. And what are the problems of children with special needs in the ability to read and write the Koran at SLB Bina Sejahtera. This study aims to determine how Islamic Islamic education teachers are trying to improve the ability to read and write the Qur'an through the Iqro 'method, and to find out the problems of the ability to read and write the Qur'an in children with special needs in SLB Bina Sejahtera. In this study, using a qualitative method which has natural characteristics as a  source of direct data. The subject of this research is shown to the Islamic Religious Education Teacher. Researchers in this case applied several data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the PAI teacher's efforts in improving the ability to read and write the Qur'an through the Iqro 'method for children with special needs, including; giving enthusiasm and affection, giving gifts, separating seats for each child, being taught one by one to do repetition of readings so that they are easy to remember and understand, as well as adding image media. The existence of this teacher's effort is able to improve the ability of children with special needs in reading and writing the Qur'an. And the problems that occur in children with special needs in reading and writing the Qur'an have different abilities.

Waste problems that occur in large urban communities, such as the city of Bandung, need to be taken seriously because waste problems are not only a problem of cleanliness and the environment, but can also be a conflict of social problems in the community. The family as the smallest community in the community structure is the source of the waste problem itself with the largest contribution to piles of waste originating from household waste. The Bandung city government has launched the Kang PisMan movement as a flagship program in alternative waste management in the city of Bandung as an effort to make Bandung a waste-free area. The purpose of this research is to study the extent to which the Kang PisMan movement as a Bandung city government program has been recognized by the community and can be an alternative environmental education in the family that can contribute to waste management, especially in the city of Bandung. The research method used is quantitative and qualitative methods through surveys, interviews, and direct observation. The results of this study are expected to build public awareness of the importance of environmental education starting with the family, one of which is by supporting the Kang PisMan movement. AbstrakPermasalahan sampah yang terjadi pada masyarakat kota besar, seperti kota Bandung perlu ditangani secara serius karena permasalahan sampah bukan hanya menjadi permasalahan kebersihan dan lingkungan hidup, namun juga bisa menjadi konflik permasalahan sosial di masyarakat. Keluarga sebagai komunitas terkecil dalam tatanan masyarakat adalah sumber dari permasalahan sampah itu sendiri dengan adanya kontribusi terbesar pada timbunan sampahoyang bersumberidari sampahirumah tangga. Pemerintah kota Bandung mencanangkan gerakan Kang PisMan sebagai program unggulan dalam altenatif penanganan sampah di kota Bandung sebagai upaya mewujudkan kota Bandung sebagai kawasan bebas sampah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengetahui sejauh mana gerakan Kang PisMan sebagai program pemerintah kota Bandung telah diketahui oleh masyarakat dan bisa menjadi salah satu alternatif pendidikan lingkungan hidup dalam keluarga yang bisa memberikan kontribusi pada pengelolaan sampah, khususnya di kotaiBandung. Metodeipenelitian yangidigunakan adalahimetode kuantitatif dan kualitatif melalui survei, wawancara, dan observasi langsung. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membangun kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya pendidikan lingkungan hidup yang dimulai dari keluarga, salah satunya adalah dengan mendukung gerakan Kang PisMan.
